bethesda didnt make it tho, just published
which begs the question, how do they decide if it's published by xbox or bethesda since it's basically the same now
They decide based on which group of employees is available to work on publishing. If Xbox Games Studio has a full work load, Bethesda Softworks can work on it. It's also related to which publishing group the developer has relations with already. Most of Zenimax media is likely to stay intact just because of the connections they already have to each other. They may be all under the Microsoft branch, but Arkane and MachineGames and Id and such will likely continue to be published by Bethesda.

The huge ad campaign, which Bethesda promised to carry out, it has not carried out (there were a few articles in some magazines....and that was it), and everybody understand how important advertising is for a game to be a success. But still, from some source we know that by now Bethesda has sold about 50000 boxes of Echelon in North America, which means that Bethesda has already made over a million on the game. We were simply shocked by such a way of doing business, and thought it would be humiliating to continue fulfilling the requirements of such a dishonest and treacherous "partner", and to continue supporting "the partner" with new patches and add-ons. Mick Gordon was asked by bethesda to make an OST before giving him a contract because it was urgent and it couldn't wait for the legal department to make the contract, he made the ost and they cancelled the project and thus his work went unpaid, then years later they sold it anyway without having paid him anything. https://medium.com/@mickgordon/my-full-statement-regarding-doom-eternal-5f98266b27ce#4053 >Back in 2015, I scored another Bethesda-published game from a different studio. They also announced the OST for doom eternal at E3 with his name attached. Without contacting him first. They also added a bunch of tracks to the album that weren't made by him, and the ost was poorly received, and marty blamed him for it. Marty is id but it was bethesda lawyers which prevented the incriminatory message to be deleted, and bethesda backed him when mick's post went up.
Mick Gordon stuff is all rumors and hearsay, if he was right he should have taken it to court. You guys make it sound like the Id guys are so extremely petty that they'd ruin a guy over his music being synonymous with Doom
but except marty already ruined his reputation with a reddit post >oh wow a reddit post!
Coming fromthe executive produce of id software addressing doom eternal's poor ost release which was a hot topic.
This would have been avoided had they allowed the post to stay down (and it did go down) after over 2 years of being up, affecting mick's reputation which obviously would affect his livelihood as a contractor.
Oh and I forgot, they also blamed a contractor for the fo76 vinyl bag shitshow as well https://www.eurogamer.net/7-months-later-bethesda-has-finally-delivered-the-fallout-76-canvas-bags >In total, the episode saw Bethesda issue curt customer service responses, retrospectively change the advertising on its website, claim the reason for the swap was due to the price of canvas, and initially apologise with a meagre amount of in-game currency (along with laying the blame for those customer service responses on a temporary contract worker). It was all a bit of a mess.

Didn't they also promise a bonus for obsidian (which got no royalties for new Vegas) if it got an aggregate review score of 85? And it got 84 with one of the main complaints being bugs when Bethesda was in charge of QA. Really scummy
>, it's ex Capcom employees.
This cope. Shinji Mikami did not make the game himself. He barely helped. Tango is known for shitty horror games. It's a miracle they pulled this off.
I absolutely avoid any hidden collectibles in this game because the jumping controls are finicky enough as-is and above all I can't fricking stand listening to the same damn baseline for 15 minutes while I scour all the nooks and crannies. Hope you don't get anything actually significant from them.
the jump doesn't even sync to the rhythm, you always land on the ground at an odd time. it's like the one thing that doesn't sync up so there' no reason for it to feel like such garbage.
At least one of those encounters is behind a Peppermint hookshot point in the first stage, so there may be more behind NG+/postgame stuff, haven't found all of them yet.

Marty is id but it was bethesda lawyers which prevented the incriminatory message to be deleted, and bethesda backed him when mick's post went up.
basically, frick bethesda.
Mick Gordon stuff is all rumors and hearsay, if he was right he should have taken it to court. You guys make it sound like the Id guys are so extremely petty that they'd ruin a guy over his music being synonymous with Doom
but except marty already ruined his reputation with a reddit post
>oh wow a reddit post!
Coming fromthe executive produce of id software addressing doom eternal's poor ost release which was a hot topic.
This would have been avoided had they allowed the post to stay down (and it did go down) after over 2 years of being up, affecting mick's reputation which obviously would affect his livelihood as a contractor.
Oh and I forgot, they also blamed a contractor for the fo76 vinyl bag shitshow as well https://www.eurogamer.net/7-months-later-bethesda-has-finally-delivered-the-fallout-76-canvas-bags
>In total, the episode saw Bethesda issue curt customer service responses, retrospectively change the advertising on its website, claim the reason for the swap was due to the price of canvas, and initially apologise with a meagre amount of in-game currency (along with laying the blame for those customer service responses on a temporary contract worker). It was all a bit of a mess.
we dindu nuffin
Didn't they also promise a bonus for obsidian (which got no royalties for new Vegas) if it got an aggregate review score of 85? And it got 84 with one of the main complaints being bugs when Bethesda was in charge of QA. Really scummy
This, though I'll give Bethesda somewhat the benefit of the doubt and blame Microsoft instead. Frick Microsoft.
>, it's ex Capcom employees.
This cope. Shinji Mikami did not make the game himself. He barely helped. Tango is known for shitty horror games. It's a miracle they pulled this off.
Incredible how shilling on Ganker isn't even something you have to try at anymore.
I hope these guys actually go on and build their own autistic universe, I love seeing this shit.
I thought I found all of them but I guess not, I don't feel like replaying through the game
Mimosa's theme is simply the best in the game if you believe other wise you are wrong.
zanzo body pillow drop when?
Yes, Xbox did an amazing job.
Game looks fricking gay as frick. Made by and for alphabet people.
Nigresse gayme is two blocks down, buddy
Yes, rhythm souls is a new great genre
Devgay here: Bethesda has consistent the best executive talent out of any suits in the industry.
Everyone I know working for them loves them
>Amazing eye for projects (HFR/Indiana Jones)
>Willing to take huge risks for eventual payoff (fo76)
>Cuts bullshit when needed (Commander Keen reboot, cuck muzzling woketrash creatives @ Arkane/Machinegames)
>Consistently high benefits and good staffing outside of mandatory globohomosexual hires (the few cuts from the MS layoffs went to them)
>Good work environment for the actual devs (not HR/PR/QA)
Their unannounced pipeline is insane, and the execs are 1000% supportive, but actually helpful too. Good luck getting that from Sony execs or Nintendo's literal grandpas coasting at the top.
Explain the turds fallout 4 and 76 then.
Both were massive successes long-term. Every other dev would have shut the games down and laid off the entire studio.
Better than Forspoken, and I guess that's what counts.
yes
Xboner here. This game will be dead in a month or two like every other smash-like.
Don't care, still playing Battlefield 4.
smash-like? what the frick game do you think it is?
It's a single player game
