My guess is a Johto remake, the format I don't know. But it won't be Let's Go style, that was a one off
I think it's too soon for them to make another Legends game since they wouldnt have the time to have seen the hugely positive reception from the first game and also to make that game in the time allotted.
Maybe a bigger spinoff too since we haven't had one in a while, like maybe a new Rangers or something entirely new.

Actually a gen 2 remake being planned may very well be the reason behind the anti GSC/HGSS shilling in the first place. The timeframe fits for DP too.
What format? Faithful remake, standard remake, Legends, something new?
I'd hope Legends simply because the common pick for a focus is Celebi and I like Celebi. Plus, not that I'd expect GameFreak to put in this much effort, the idea of having to travel between a past and future Johto is nice

I think it'll be Johto or Unova related, the paradox mons are a bit of a give away and both gens are due for something but it's hard to say what.
I'm thinking Gen 5 1:1 remake in Nov 2023 then a Johto related game in Jan 2025 with Gen 10 in Nov 2025. similar to how BDSP and LoA were released.
I think they'll do a Johto Gen 8 style remake in Nov 2024 then do a Legends Unova in Summer 2025

There’s this talk about Switch 2 / New Switch, the future hinges on if the new console is a new gen, same gen but better hardware or just a new model with the same slop.
My prediction: Unova demake or Johto stuff, with some Virtual Console of the old games which should’ve been a thing last fricking time.
