Super rockpox. Instead of just foaming it up and sucking the foam off you need to:
1) Foam up the rockpox boils
2) Use a scrubber gun to work the foam in good and deep (your pickaxe will be fitted with a toothbrush in case someone else has the scrubber gun)
3) Use a rockpox neutralizing paste gun to spray over the scrubbed foam
4) You can then vacuum up the foam (doing it earlier than this step will require starting over)
Each cave should have at least 1 harold and a super-harold which requires you to use steps 1-4 to remove his outer shell, which regenerates over time and regens to full every time you knock out 1/4 of his health.
Calling down cleansing pods will now cost 80 nitra, but you can call down as many as you want
More rockpox enemies, maybe even a rockpox stingtail.
I'd be fine with that if it was it's own mission type and nothing more. Rockpox has a nasty habit of just showing up in any mission and making it an absolute chore. If you can plan for a rockpox theme objective and build a loadout around it it wouldn't be as shitty.
Robots are also 1000x worse than Rockpox and get their own caretaker fight that everyone rightfully hates, so it's not mad to think they would do it.
caretaker was fun at first but the entire mission gets shitty when you do it a ton of times a day
It was always meant to be a special mission, not a normal mission
I disagree with the anon though : robots are far better than rockpox. Caretaker is miles better than corruptor, the one that actually everyone hates
That's because robots suck. The only interaction they have with anything at all is burning, which insta-kills them. That's it. Anything else is useless. They can't be stunned, they can't be frozen, they can't be pheremoned and they fly so you can't kite them into a favourable position for anything other than hitscan weapons to deal with. They're just garbage, and their lasers are just boring and far too strong. The missile salvo bots are slightly cooler but for whatever reason seem way rarer.
Prospector and Nemesis don't react to anything and can't be messed with. Frick robots, they are absolutely antithetical to the gameplay of DRG.
you can still kill robots very effectively with weakpoint damage on several weapons
Your logic is even dumber when youre considering Rockpox. The ONLY weapon in the game who can actually deal with rockpox at a high speed is Breach Cutter, everything else is miles below. Even moreso if you play modded hazards, but definitely still applies to vanilla : Unless you have that gun, its a boring awful chore
>with weakpoint damage on several weapons
Nothing for most of driller
Difficult for half of gunner
Useless secondaries and turrets for engi
Literally only sc**ts and minigunnners like hitscanning weakspots everything else is a b***h and a half.
>nothing for most of driller
he is literally the flamer guy though. Also they take increased melee damage, axes are fine >Half of gunner
its very rare to see a gunner without high direct damage >useless secondaries and turrets for engi
shard diffractor and inferno (inferno being the best OC) can do a pretty nice job, and you can line up many for direct damage.
And yeah, forgot to mention everyone's high damage power attack, gives a nice boost against them
you cant compare it to rockpox where its literally only breach cutter

>he is literally the flamer guy though
So he has one primary instead of 3 and half of the builds for that primary (sticky flames) don't fricking work. >muh axes
Oh great, now i only have 1 grenade instead of 4, wonderful, i love having no fricking options for grenades too. >high direct damage
Missiles don't weakspot and good fricking luck with auto cannon being accurate enough for it. Both of which even if you bring lose half of their builds out of the gate. >power attack
The generic move that requires you to get into melee range against the erratic, flying, laser shooting robots? Yeah sure is great now combine it with any sort of cave generation.

>sticky flames doesnt work
are you moronic?
You still get extremely high heat rate against them by just picking t2 mod, but its not even necessary. Or you could just pick radiance instead of targets explode to sacrifice teh potential to clear jellies >i have 1 grenade out of 4, wonderful
Driller always had 3 dogshit grenades and one great grenade, so im not blaming robots as much there >high direct damage -> missiles dont target weakspot
They literally do, dumbfrick. Theres even a 50% weakpoint bonus. Plasma Burster Missiles (post buff) and Jet Fuel shred weakpoints. If youre going into a robot mission >erratic, flying laser robots?
they have a pretty high chance to go near you, usually dont matter much from afar
Ultimately your point is stupid. Dont get me wrong, robots suck too, but theyre nowhere as bad as rockpox.
All you said is silly because you can just select these when you need (you can know when you will fight a significant ammount of robots in advance). You will never have a robot-swarm in the middle of a mission
meanwhile rockpox >extra large number of rockpox contamination missions >random rockpox swarms >random corruptor chore
9 months ago
Anonymous
My point is nothing to do with rockpox it's purely about robots being fricking awful because ghost ship decided to introduce an entire branch of enemies that ignores half of your builds. The game already has a problem of filtering you down to the same few most efficient builds if you don't want to keep juggling downed buttholes and robots reduce that even further.

>my point is nothing to do with rockpox
Well, you literally started the conversation by telling that anon that robots are 1000x worse than rockpox.
All missions suck if you grind them back to back, just don't do it.
[...] >can trivialize bots with any flamethrower build that takes the bonus heat in T2 >ARE YOU SAYING YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE PRIMARY AND HALF OF ITS BUILDS???????
Go back to LoL, metaslave.
Also LMAO at sticky flames being "half of the builds" for the flamethrower.
Also missiles DO weakspot, there's an upgrade specifically to increse their weakspot damage in fact and at least two OCs that can make great use of it.
Not talking about grinding, talking about just playing normally. Sabotage sucks as a normal mission, and it has even been watered down in generation when it could be kept large as a special misison
>Also LMAO at sticky flames being "half of the builds" for the flamethrower
Correct
You either do sticky flames or direct damage and direct damage has only two paths worth a shit.
All missions suck if you grind them back to back, just don't do it.

sticky flames is genuinely so much better than direct damage its not even funny, genuinely broken OP and never nerfed
And whether you use Sticky Fuel or Fuel Stream Diffuser, it honestly hardly matters. its broken with no overclocks
I would definitely be down for an overall nerf to sticky flames and a solid buff to direct flamethrower & hybrid builds

In his defence I was the original Frick Robots poster and only just responded with
Not defending Rockpox as a good addition by any means but they're still better to deal with than robots. By and large they only spawn in their lithophage spike areas, they have to physically walk to you like normal glyphids which means every class has traversal tools to do with them- something robots instantly negate by all being able to fly and spawn anywhere. Rockpox are a chore and a pain but you can still deal with them with most weapons in the game, you just need to be accurate. Robots literally delete 80% of your class tools by default.
The update that brought new Rockpox also brought Jetpacks which completely negates 90% of them as a threat if you know how to conserve your fuel. It does nothing to the threat of robot sentries and shredders. Have you ever enjoyed dealing with shredders? They are absolutely insufferable at best for every class under every circumstance.
The problem with Rockpox is having to constantly mash out of their shitty status effect, which could be fixed by just having it affect you for 3-4 seconds every time and removing the mashing, but as annoying as it is you can always run away from it, or strategically proc it in a safe position to give yourself a window of innoculation immunity afterward.
Ultimate, even though they're a shitty version of Glyphids and a stain on the game- Rockpox can be dealt with in a number of ways, including retreating or repositioning. Robots are the same every time and they are bad every time. There's no opportunity to deal with robots in a clever way. They don't engage with any of your tools or options as a player. Are there ways to trivialize them? Yes, but they aren't fun or interesting for anyone.

>. Have you ever enjoyed dealing with shredders? They are absolutely insufferable at best for every class under every circumstance.
targets explode? turrets? minigun?
among other things, theres actually plenty of options here. Shredders are the only robot enemy i'd claim is actually good
The bigger issue with rockpox is their shitty boils with extreme damage reduction to normal attacks, they could really reduce the damage reduction and it would be way better >rockpox can be dealt in a number of ways, retreating or repositioning
it doesnt make them be less of a chore
Theyre not even hard at all. theyre a pure chore >theres no opportunity to deal with robots in a clever way
theyre mechanically far superior and dynamic than chorepox, so i dont know how you say that. The only thing rockpox engages with is my breach cutter, and fails to engage with several mechanics that should be able to destroy many boils at once, because the devs were unable to code boils as separate entities.

You either do sticky flames or direct damage and direct damage has only two paths worth a shit.
Industrial sabotage fricking sucks even after the nerf but not because robots suck, just because you have to choose between a kit that feels good fighting the boss and a kit that feels good killing bugs
That's because robots suck. The only interaction they have with anything at all is burning, which insta-kills them. That's it. Anything else is useless. They can't be stunned, they can't be frozen, they can't be pheremoned and they fly so you can't kite them into a favourable position for anything other than hitscan weapons to deal with. a conclusion to either the rockpox or the robots
overhauled perks
replace the boring overclocks nobody uses with fun ones
more biome specific preatorians
>a conclusion to either the rockpox or the robots
most likely, but we could also see yet another new theme after season 4s backlash. >overhauled perks
they already said thats not going to happen for the next season and likely not for the next after that either >replace the boring overclocks nobody uses with fun ones
dont make me laugh anon, that would actually be a good idea. >more biome specific preatorians
we already have a rockpox praetorian though, i bet you want more rockpox variants of other bugs though, like rockpox shellbacks, rockpox cave leeches, rockpox lootbugs, rockpox patrol bots, rockpox rockpox infected glypids, rockpox Karl, the possibilities are endless!
Yeah spbp. I've been wanting new perks for a while now. Resupplier and dash are far too good. I basically never take them off. Field medic and iron will are like a tier below but still really good and then in the tier under that is most of the other perks
Oh yeah honorable mention to unstoppable for being a really good quality of life perk. Further helps with grunt slashers and goop/snow to supplement your dash even more
The best thing they could do for season 5 is remove all the rockpox shit, remove all the robot shit, and never touch the game again. The devs can no longer be trusted to make good or reasonable decisions.
get rid of rockpox
come up with actual new interesting progression and gear to attract older players again
come up with a non-moronic way to re-implement season content as permanent instead of shoehorning it into normal missions
Remove rockpox. It's more than overstayed its welcome
Replace industrial sabotage with a fully developed dreadnought that went undisturbed from its cocoon phase
It'd be nice if they could give you an opt in for removing robots and rockpox.
I figure a smart way to do this is make a secondary map beneath the first called HOXXES CORE or something where the bugs are cranked to a hazard above the normal setting in exchange.
Then that's official support for hazard 6 as well.
Then I figure to piss everyone off still as is gsgs prerogative, it's never used for assignments.
>lets make hazard 6 be forced robots and rockpox >lets make hazard 6 cuck you out of all the other biomes
this is the worst idea ive ever heard for a h6 and season content
well thats better, but its still silly to leave h6 as rockpox/robot infested
if anything these are the enemies that scale the worst into modded hazards rn
You still fail to grasp what I was attempting to communicate.
The enhanced hazard subzones are missing seasonal features like rockpox and bots.
Sorry if this was not easy to understand.
I am so glad you aren't a game designer
Me too those Black folk are paid peanuts and sleep under their desks.
I think it's stupid to compare aidspox to caretaker when caretaker is MAIN MISSION and the other is optional (but also forced) task. Like imagine if caretaker was additional forced task that could spawn into any mission lmao.... And the new miniboss is so stupid when I play solo it always adds MINIMUM 5 minutes into my mission time, sometimes even 10 and can risk my mission because it flies up and down in a complex cave.
Maybe some sort of time trial mission type? Something to focus on mining instead of more annoying enemy types.
>Team, management has been looking at your performance and they're not very impressed. You're up against the clock and a rival team for this one. Mine the specified quota as fast as possible or start packing your bags.
>Announcing the end of seasons and the return of regular updates >Reworking the perk system, buffing the large amount of bad perks and adding new ones >A whole host of new overclocks, buffs to the weak ones >Buffing the extremely weak mods on certain weapons, minor reworks to weapons that have standout problems >New mission types
>Want shooting range to actually test out all the dogshit upgrades and overclocks for weapons so I can actually see whats good and what's not >Almost 5 years later and all they do is add flappy birds to the space station
>at least one new biome, preferably 2 or more >at least 5 new non-gimmicky enemies >at least one new mission type
that's all i need to make s5 a good season.
>Fort defending against bugs?
I'm seconding this, make it some kind of big miner thingy where you have to build a series of fortifications around it to try and keep the bugs away
call it "defense in depth"
a giant boss that you can enter and blow up from the inside or maybe have an actual new biome from it, kind of like the leviathan from dmc 3 but bug instead of whale, or maybe the monster is made like a giant walking materials so no need to make fleshy parts
I haven't played this game in a long while, the overclock grind just killed all my interest for it. I put 200 hours in and I was still missing dozens of good overclocks.
>buff the frick out of the useless meme perks >rework all underused overclocks. Those have been the best part of the seasons anyway >redo the mod tree for the Lok since over half of them are worthless or counterproductive >make it so armor break actually works against heavy armor, let armor break completely pierce light armor instead of increasing break chance >raise min damage radius of PGL so incendiary isn't an instant pick >nerf shredder DPS. They're too good for how little input is required + no FF risk. >make flaregun instakill leeches itd be funny >Dont even need rewards. Just let us do deep dive content outside of the weekly seed without needing mods.
>Just let us do deep dive content outside of the weekly seed without needing mods
i wish we could get deep dive type missions, like 200 morkite with 4 eggs instead of fossils
> armor break completely pierce light armor instead of increasing break chance
It already does that with sufficient damage. A shot that breaks the armor deals full damage instantly
Yeah unless your weapon is aoe in which case you get 25% damage and the devs say thats fully intentional
In any case, non-aoe attacks still get resisted by light armor. And the amount of damage you get depends on which bullet is the one that triggers the armor break (which is % based, per bullet instead of per shot) and there is no way to ensure a pierce since all pellets hit at once, but the game still executes them one at a time. You can have "100%" armor break chance but still fail to break armor because of bad rolls.
Just frick all that and let it ignore light armor so it stands a chance against its contemporaries, stuff like warthog armor break is competing with a flat damage increase and you're better off taking guaranteed results instead of maybe breaking light armor for comparable value.
The LOK is fine, it has a lot of very different builds and all mods work with some of them.
Armor break actually works, except when caused by splash damage: that is an old and well known bug, it probably can't be fixed easily.
Incendiary on PGL is an instapick because it's a 100% consistent OHK on all grunts in range, small explosion damage buffs won't change the situation.
Agree on the rest.
More gamechanging overclocks. More stuff like Fat Boy or Special Powder. Less shit overclocking like "'+10% accuracy -10% reload speed" that does nothing fun from a gameplay perspective.
Perk overhaul. Some perks are ridiculously overpowered, some are utterly useless.
This 100%. Frick balance. Just have fun overclocks that change up how the gun functions. I'm so fricking tired of overclocks that are just boring ass stat boosts. >more damage but hurr way less ammo
I love me some plascrete detonator type shit.
I really want a special telekinetic bug enemy that can teleport a player into the air and drop them into a bunch of bugs or into a hole or whatever. Kind of like the warpers from Subnautica.
Because the Dailies and the Deep dives can be completed in a afternoon with a good enough team
Really wish they would have missions and the reward could be a cosmetic
Would make having to find loot crates less annoying
Lighting in the game is good as in dark is really dark. How about some sort of deep dive type mission where you are going so deep that you are told on the way down that management can't stay in contact and you navigate the objectives alone. No music would be playing as you would have to rely on your attention to detect glyphids and swarms. It could be a new mission type like search and rescue where you're going in to try rescue dwarves that were left behind. Obviously they would be dead or just missing because they wouldn't dare program actual dwarf npcs but you retrieve something and then dig your way back up to get in contact with management again and then they can send down a drop pod. Or instead of responding to SOS/Distress signal its some rare mineral/object like the omoran hearthstone. The game has potential to be spoopy so something of that nature could be fun.
Intrusive souls-like team on team pvp gamemode >Rival strike teams hardcore modifier, +150%~ XP >Team A is doing a mission with that modifier >suddenly they get a notification >rival miners inbound >team B comes in their own drop-pod on the other side of the map >sudden death mode activated - if you die, you wont be able to be revived until the end of showdown >bugs swarms stop until the showdown end, only ambushes are allowed. yes detonators are also included in the ambushes spawn list >whatever team wins gets a giant bonus and has to continue the mission (if team B wins, they have to continue where team A left on and finish the mission) but let's be real, they can't do it, nor they would. Also it has potential balancing/griefing problems in it that have to be resolved
>did you just got mindbroken
No.
Your idea is dumb, pvp wouldn't work, and there's a billion other pvp games out there so just play them if you aren't moronic (oh wait).

driller started it by microwaving something and then went off. The korlok was right next to the drop pod and there was nothing else to do. We ran out of ammo because nobody mines nitra.
It’s also valled dropping what you’re doing and helping your team
>make driller drop what he's doing to fight a boss that doesn't move
He was busy stopping a source of infinite enemy spawns, he was doing the right thing to secure the cave before engaging the boss so you dumbasses don't get blindsided while focusing on the dudeweed
I bet you try to fight minibosses during swarms
desu, decent teams can straight up melt the minibosses
killing them during a swarm actually sounds like a potentially adequate idea, but if your team isnt good then yeah, just frick right off the region with the miniboss
Even a knowledgeable team knows when there's too much heat and they should prioritize better positioning instead of trying to DPS race.
Its safer to just assume the team isn't going to win that race and save your hides to fight for longer.
I miss when swarms could happen during dread fights, it made things spicy

yeah, im cool with no mini-swarms during twins but the other dreads was too exagerated a nerf
>they added random beer >it doesnt randomize your weapons/overclocks/perks/upgrades

whats the point of that beer
I need more biomes with more civilian creatures and more enemies with more mechanics, MAYBE another new mission type, in other words more exploration and gameplay.
It's what what I've wanted since I got the game years ago. But they're adding other shit instead
It doesn't need a theme or gimmick, just content. >Way more room tileset generation >More environmental hazards and objects >One new biome >New positive and negative mutators added to the core game >More overclocks for all weapons >New and reworked perks
Also if they insist on the patch having a theme >Some kind of sentient AI has been watching the dwarves in the mines for combat data >The drop rate on the error cubes is increased slightly >Error cubes can now be used as a currency to use this machine in the bay to open a mission to a secret biome with special modifiers and a reward bonus >Failing the mission doesn't destroy the cube, its only used up when you complete it
you can find special missions during missions like maps in Path Of Exile, they're gonna have a set of positive and negative modifiers and you can only attempt them once
Next season better be a new biome and mission(s).
If they want story they can say that the data cells and data racks from the rivals contained information that R&D finally cracked and theres lucrative stuff to be mined. Rivals are present in theme but arent there because they never got the data so its all for us.
gay
what they need to do is lantern which is just enor pearl but lantern shaped and not depositable, can be boosted with flare charges for a short timed radius boost
I just want an expansion where theyd add more overclocks, weapons, biomes and enemy types. Id pay for it too if itd make these Black folk work any faster and more than they do now
>you WILL us ze tunnel, its efficient >you are now allowed to build your own pipelines, you must wait for ME to make a straight line through the ground first >no one else's mobility tools matter, only mine
Frick off, OSR is great and is at its best when both construction and maintenance put player tools to use.
Driller is for absolutely fricked terrain and clearing space for extra clearance.
Engineer is for elevated connections and bug pathbending
Scout is for teleporting directly to the broken pipe and making lights
Gunner is for connecting the network of pipes for lane switching
If your pipes require anyone to go all the way back to the refinery before you can switch to a different pipe, its shit >everyone i disagree with is reddit
The mission goes faster if you let the other 3 do work too, dumbass.

>pls come into my hole
have a nice day and cauterize your disgusting impact axewound
I want a rework of the salvage missions, give it more variety in how you fix the drop pod. Standing in a circle 2 times in one mission was already pretty boring and with no counterplay if a bulk spawned on top of you or some idiot was jerking off outside of the zone and you got swarmed. But now you also have mortar firing area denial bugs and child kidnappers that have 1 second of audio warning, spawn in groups and slingshot you to instant death via fall damage. Nerf stinktail's armor or hp and make it glow, or make the tail a weakspot that lights up, has to charge for longer, isn't armored and you can shoot to stop it from attacking even without stun or fear.
End the fricking rock aids, season 4 was already garbage thanks to making every single wrong choice in designing this shit. Make the pozzed bugs' damage reduction scale with amount of boils remaining on a single bug, so you can have a choice whether you want to use up more ammo to kill a bug right now or circle it to hit the mandatory weakspot. Goddamn mactera bombers are unkillable unless you spend 2 minutes climbing above it sometimes, breeders are even worse.
More cavegens, more biome specific events. It was cool to see the unique stone circles or floaty pits in azure zone or those weird helix things in radioactive zone, but that kinda lost the charm already. It's time to expand on that. Maybe more stuff like a lost pack, not necessarily with rewards, just to give some lore sometimes. Dwarf bones, broken lost Bosco, trashed rival tech, passive fauna/flora, a rare broken dread egg, a rare non-objective secondary stuff scattered around like a single boolo cap in a aquark/dystrum mission, something like that. More machine events. More secondary objectives, like hunting down an invisible bug by scanning a bunch of areas for the tracks it makes, or something like a mission-wide rival antenna event but only for OSR/PE.
New biomes and missions. They haven't added any of those in a while. On-site Refining is actually a lot of fun. Missions with more building would be cool.
>Mission where your team of miners has to work with another team of miners. Group 1 has to dig and fight to a certain depth to get big fricking deposits ready, then Group 2 has to go to an old mining station to get the whole thing turned on and moving. You can still do both of these objectives with just one group, but it will take longer. Final objective will be defending the haul as an 8 man group against an endless horde of bugs where you have to reassemble the rocket to launch it. Massive mission, most people will probably fricking hate it honestly but I would love it >Dual wielding pick axe option >Engineer platform gun mod to make it like a sticky surface enemies can get stuck to >Engineer platform gun mod to make the platforms double your jump height and be capable of being "springy" like a trampoline >Molly gets a translator chip and can speak, but it's voice lines of an angry black woman who doesn't think its her job to haul shit
I want over clocks for Bosco
Also more robot companions
Option to use the gold to buy jet boots or a bet-c for a team before the mission
Have a pet lootbug you can feed gold
New robot and glyphid bosses
For the far far future update, a new planet to mine on (maybe even have something like borderlands 3 where you can take the ship to the planets to give a different view)
I'm sure the community will love it!
I'd be fine with that if it was it's own mission type and nothing more. Rockpox has a nasty habit of just showing up in any mission and making it an absolute chore. If you can plan for a rockpox theme objective and build a loadout around it it wouldn't be as shitty.
Robots are also 1000x worse than Rockpox and get their own caretaker fight that everyone rightfully hates, so it's not mad to think they would do it.
>hating on caretaker
It's a much better boss than the dreadnoughts
caretaker was fun at first but the entire mission gets shitty when you do it a ton of times a day
It was always meant to be a special mission, not a normal mission
I disagree with the anon though : robots are far better than rockpox. Caretaker is miles better than corruptor, the one that actually everyone hates
you can still kill robots very effectively with weakpoint damage on several weapons
Also they take increased melee damage, axes are fine
>Half of gunner
its very rare to see a gunner without high direct damage
>useless secondaries and turrets for engi
shard diffractor and inferno (inferno being the best OC) can do a pretty nice job, and you can line up many for direct damage.
Or you could just pick radiance instead of targets explode to sacrifice teh potential to clear jellies
>i have 1 grenade out of 4, wonderful
Driller always had 3 dogshit grenades and one great grenade, so im not blaming robots as much there
>high direct damage -> missiles dont target weakspot
They literally do, dumbfrick. Theres even a 50% weakpoint bonus. Plasma Burster Missiles (post buff) and Jet Fuel shred weakpoints. If youre going into a robot mission
>erratic, flying laser robots?
they have a pretty high chance to go near you, usually dont matter much from afar
Ultimately your point is stupid. Dont get me wrong, robots suck too, but theyre nowhere as bad as rockpox.
All you said is silly because you can just select these when you need (you can know when you will fight a significant ammount of robots in advance). You will never have a robot-swarm in the middle of a mission
meanwhile rockpox
>extra large number of rockpox contamination missions
>random rockpox swarms
>random corruptor chore
My point is nothing to do with rockpox it's purely about robots being fricking awful because ghost ship decided to introduce an entire branch of enemies that ignores half of your builds. The game already has a problem of filtering you down to the same few most efficient builds if you don't want to keep juggling downed buttholes and robots reduce that even further.
>my point is nothing to do with rockpox
Well, you literally started the conversation by telling that anon that robots are 1000x worse than rockpox.
Not talking about grinding, talking about just playing normally. Sabotage sucks as a normal mission, and it has even been watered down in generation when it could be kept large as a special misison
sticky flames is genuinely so much better than direct damage its not even funny, genuinely broken OP and never nerfed
Frick robots.
>. Have you ever enjoyed dealing with shredders? They are absolutely insufferable at best for every class under every circumstance.
targets explode? turrets? minigun?
among other things, theres actually plenty of options here. Shredders are the only robot enemy i'd claim is actually good
The bigger issue with rockpox is their shitty boils with extreme damage reduction to normal attacks, they could really reduce the damage reduction and it would be way better
>rockpox can be dealt in a number of ways, retreating or repositioning
it doesnt make them be less of a chore
Theyre not even hard at all. theyre a pure chore
>theres no opportunity to deal with robots in a clever way
theyre mechanically far superior and dynamic than chorepox, so i dont know how you say that. The only thing rockpox engages with is my breach cutter, and fails to engage with several mechanics that should be able to destroy many boils at once, because the devs were unable to code boils as separate entities.
oh nice
but yes, frick robots. AND frick rockpox.
We each have our own differing opinions and that's fine because we both hate everything- look forward to running into you in the caves brother
>Useless secondaries and turrets for engi
You're replying to a post saying that there are no weakspot damage multiplier mods for engineer's turrets and secondaries, which is correct.
You dont need a weakspot damage multiplier to deal high damage. BC melts
Also, SD literally has one and its by far the most popular pick
>deal with rockpox at a high speed
fat boy, also any accurate gun can pop pimples.
>Useless secondaries
hyperprop is the best weapon at dealing with sniper turrets
All missions suck if you grind them back to back, just don't do it.
>can trivialize bots with any flamethrower build that takes the bonus heat in T2
>ARE YOU SAYING YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE PRIMARY AND HALF OF ITS BUILDS???????
Go back to LoL, metaslave.
Also LMAO at sticky flames being "half of the builds" for the flamethrower.
Also missiles DO weakspot, there's an upgrade specifically to increse their weakspot damage in fact and at least two OCs that can make great use of it.
>Also LMAO at sticky flames being "half of the builds" for the flamethrower
Correct
You either do sticky flames or direct damage and direct damage has only two paths worth a shit.
>Doing it earlier will require starting over :^)
That sounds like most obnoxious shit in the world.
a conclusion to either the rockpox or the robots
overhauled perks
replace the boring overclocks nobody uses with fun ones
more biome specific preatorians
>a conclusion to either the rockpox or the robots
most likely, but we could also see yet another new theme after season 4s backlash.
>overhauled perks
they already said thats not going to happen for the next season and likely not for the next after that either
>replace the boring overclocks nobody uses with fun ones
dont make me laugh anon, that would actually be a good idea.
>more biome specific preatorians
we already have a rockpox praetorian though, i bet you want more rockpox variants of other bugs though, like rockpox shellbacks, rockpox cave leeches, rockpox lootbugs, rockpox patrol bots, rockpox rockpox infected glypids, rockpox Karl, the possibilities are endless!
>didn't even entertain the possibility of a rockpox bulk
Casul
no I meant a fire preatorian in volcanic, shock preat in caverns and gas preat in the bog
The devs can no longer be trusted to make good or reasonable decisions.
an actual cannon for the gunner, big bertha autocannon isn't girthy enough
Just move on already. It's over.
This
>New season
Just make a new game preferably one where cool things can actually be implemented
get rid of rockpox
come up with actual new interesting progression and gear to attract older players again
come up with a non-moronic way to re-implement season content as permanent instead of shoehorning it into normal missions
Then I figure to piss everyone off still as is gsgs prerogative, it's never used for assignments.
>lets make hazard 6 be forced robots and rockpox
>lets make hazard 6 cuck you out of all the other biomes
this is the worst idea ive ever heard for a h6 and season content
You misunderstand.
The biomes are all given subzones, the seasonal stuff isn't present in the subzone.
I suppose I didn't explain it well.
well thats better, but its still silly to leave h6 as rockpox/robot infested
if anything these are the enemies that scale the worst into modded hazards rn
You still fail to grasp what I was attempting to communicate.
The enhanced hazard subzones are missing seasonal features like rockpox and bots.
Sorry if this was not easy to understand.
Me too those Black folk are paid peanuts and sleep under their desks.
I am so glad you aren't a game designer
I think it's stupid to compare aidspox to caretaker when caretaker is MAIN MISSION and the other is optional (but also forced) task. Like imagine if caretaker was additional forced task that could spawn into any mission lmao.... And the new miniboss is so stupid when I play solo it always adds MINIMUM 5 minutes into my mission time, sometimes even 10 and can risk my mission because it flies up and down in a complex cave.
Removal of all MTX and the permabanning of all troony and homosexual players.
But then there wouldn’t be enough players to fill a single lobby.
Maybe some sort of time trial mission type? Something to focus on mining instead of more annoying enemy types.
>Team, management has been looking at your performance and they're not very impressed. You're up against the clock and a rival team for this one. Mine the specified quota as fast as possible or start packing your bags.
i started playing a month ago
how long are the seasons?
also fast way to make money?
>REDDIT AND STONE!
Anything as long as it's not fricking robots.
NEW GUNS + OVERCLOCKS
NEW BIOMES
NEW MISSIONS
REWORKED PERKS
REMOVE SEASONS
>Announcing the end of seasons and the return of regular updates
>Reworking the perk system, buffing the large amount of bad perks and adding new ones
>A whole host of new overclocks, buffs to the weak ones
>Buffing the extremely weak mods on certain weapons, minor reworks to weapons that have standout problems
>New mission types
I want developer to finally live up to it's name and make a rival corp ghost ship map.
>Want shooting range to actually test out all the dogshit upgrades and overclocks for weapons so I can actually see whats good and what's not
>Almost 5 years later and all they do is add flappy birds to the space station
Frick these moronic devs honestly
Install Sandbox Utilities, youre welcome
I'm not installing mods to allow devs to be lazy homosexuals, I rather just not play that shit
>in the comments
>at least one new biome, preferably 2 or more
>at least 5 new non-gimmicky enemies
>at least one new mission type
that's all i need to make s5 a good season.
Idk. Ancient temples with traps? Fort defending against bugs?
>Fort defending against bugs?
I'm seconding this, make it some kind of big miner thingy where you have to build a series of fortifications around it to try and keep the bugs away
call it "defense in depth"
a giant boss that you can enter and blow up from the inside or maybe have an actual new biome from it, kind of like the leviathan from dmc 3 but bug instead of whale, or maybe the monster is made like a giant walking materials so no need to make fleshy parts
>weapon stats just lie about certain damage numbers
>most armor break mods don't even work
what do the devs even do?
They fixed over half the AB mods
But dont worry, we got even more bugs since then.
>address the leftover perks
>new gamemode/mission types
>QoL changes
Liquid physics
A vehicle with cool physics like a 4x4
Less cosmetics, more gameplay
I haven't played this game in a long while, the overclock grind just killed all my interest for it. I put 200 hours in and I was still missing dozens of good overclocks.
>buff the frick out of the useless meme perks
>rework all underused overclocks. Those have been the best part of the seasons anyway
>redo the mod tree for the Lok since over half of them are worthless or counterproductive
>make it so armor break actually works against heavy armor, let armor break completely pierce light armor instead of increasing break chance
>raise min damage radius of PGL so incendiary isn't an instant pick
>nerf shredder DPS. They're too good for how little input is required + no FF risk.
>make flaregun instakill leeches itd be funny
>Dont even need rewards. Just let us do deep dive content outside of the weekly seed without needing mods.
>Just let us do deep dive content outside of the weekly seed without needing mods
i wish we could get deep dive type missions, like 200 morkite with 4 eggs instead of fossils
what we need is an endless deep dive that increases in difficulty every few stages
> armor break completely pierce light armor instead of increasing break chance
Kind of like the warpers from Subnautica.
mod the stingtails tail to be invisible
they might as well make a dreadnought that instakills players on sight if we're going with such cancerous enemy ideas
So long as it's an avoidable portal that only teleports you after standing in it for 2 seconds or something, what's the issue?
Why do I simultaneously love this game and am unable to play it for more than a week before getting bored of it for 6 months?
Because the Dailies and the Deep dives can be completed in a afternoon with a good enough team
Really wish they would have missions and the reward could be a cosmetic
Would make having to find loot crates less annoying
mushroom
Make the perk that damages enemies that hit you a armor mod instead of a perk.
Intrusive souls-like team on team pvp gamemode
>Rival strike teams hardcore modifier, +150%~ XP
>Team A is doing a mission with that modifier
>suddenly they get a notification
>rival miners inbound
>team B comes in their own drop-pod on the other side of the map
>sudden death mode activated - if you die, you wont be able to be revived until the end of showdown
>bugs swarms stop until the showdown end, only ambushes are allowed. yes detonators are also included in the ambushes spawn list
>whatever team wins gets a giant bonus and has to continue the mission (if team B wins, they have to continue where team A left on and finish the mission)
but let's be real, they can't do it, nor they would. Also it has potential balancing/griefing problems in it that have to be resolved
you know sc**ts would just zip all over until everyone runs out of ammo
>muh pvp mode in game designed to be co-op pve from day1
can you morons just frick off already?
did you just got mindbroken by my based suggestion?
the game is not balanced for pvp
>did you just got mindbroken
No.
Your idea is dumb, pvp wouldn't work, and there's a billion other pvp games out there so just play them if you aren't moronic (oh wait).
Call me back when it's introduced in the game, because it will be soon
>but let's be real, they can't do it, nor they would
>immediately switches to "no u" meme posting as his whole point relentlessly falls apart
hurr durr indeed anon.
What point fell apart? We all know that pvp wouldn't work but morons like you still obsess over such a half baked idea. You could be spending your time playing actual pvp games but you won't so who's the real loser here?
>he's back at it again
At least stop pretending you even play the game yourself this time
I do play, but enjoy your seethe when you boot up the game and there's still no pvp lmao, assuming you don't waste all your time spamming your dumb ideas on Ganker/reddit/trooncord/whatever else shitholes you visit.
>it’s another we wipe to a korlok because the sc**t is off grappling his balls and the driller is cleaning out a roxpox spike
>starting a boss fight when half the team is busy
was that you first mission ever?
driller started it by microwaving something and then went off.
More enemies
More guns
More overclocks
Some alternative for nitra use like the old sentry guns
Full auto mod for BRT7
More missions
anyone itt wanna play drg right now?
If not new biomes, then season about double biomes or something.
>they added random beer
>it doesnt randomize your weapons/overclocks/perks/upgrades
whats the point
>y-you can just random it yours-
whats the point of that beer
I thought they fixed that after people complained
But it does?
One guy served it in the lobby and when I went in the mission I had a weird loadout.
I need more biomes with more civilian creatures and more enemies with more mechanics, MAYBE another new mission type, in other words more exploration and gameplay.
It's what what I've wanted since I got the game years ago. But they're adding other shit instead
I dunno, I'm kinda over this game right now.
It doesn't need a theme or gimmick, just content.
>Way more room tileset generation
>More environmental hazards and objects
>One new biome
>New positive and negative mutators added to the core game
>More overclocks for all weapons
>New and reworked perks
Also if they insist on the patch having a theme
>Some kind of sentient AI has been watching the dwarves in the mines for combat data
>The drop rate on the error cubes is increased slightly
>Error cubes can now be used as a currency to use this machine in the bay to open a mission to a secret biome with special modifiers and a reward bonus
>Failing the mission doesn't destroy the cube, its only used up when you complete it
what do the cubes do?
What if...
you can find special missions during missions like maps in Path Of Exile, they're gonna have a set of positive and negative modifiers and you can only attempt them once
Next season better be a new biome and mission(s).
If they want story they can say that the data cells and data racks from the rivals contained information that R&D finally cracked and theres lucrative stuff to be mined. Rivals are present in theme but arent there because they never got the data so its all for us.
What i want for season 5 is devs announce tomorrow that it's the last season, do some reskins and leave
The seething would be immeasurable
mission modifier where you can only use headlights, no flares allowed
gay
what they need to do is lantern which is just enor pearl but lantern shaped and not depositable, can be boosted with flare charges for a short timed radius boost
>remove flares
>flashlight now actually lights up for than 2 feet in front of you
I just want an expansion where theyd add more overclocks, weapons, biomes and enemy types. Id pay for it too if itd make these Black folk work any faster and more than they do now
the time has come for the rival corporations to make a meaningful presence on hoxxes, add goblins kobolds or elves as enemies you cowards
More missions/side missions where you have to build stuff, but you can choose yourself where the stuff goes, like the On-site Refining mission
>more missions where moron redditors will ruin everything
>you WILL us ze tunnel, its efficient
>you are now allowed to build your own pipelines, you must wait for ME to make a straight line through the ground first
>no one else's mobility tools matter, only mine
Frick off, OSR is great and is at its best when both construction and maintenance put player tools to use.
yes reddit-kun
now shut the frick up and use your muh bility tools to janny the place up or frick off
Driller is for absolutely fricked terrain and clearing space for extra clearance.
Engineer is for elevated connections and bug pathbending
Scout is for teleporting directly to the broken pipe and making lights
Gunner is for connecting the network of pipes for lane switching
If your pipes require anyone to go all the way back to the refinery before you can switch to a different pipe, its shit
>everyone i disagree with is reddit
The mission goes faster if you let the other 3 do work too, dumbass.
>ablobloo moronic theorycrafting nobody cares about ever
pick a pipe and fricking ride it then ride back
stop fighting in buttfrick nowhere corner of the map i will not go revive you there if you die
>pls come into my hole
have a nice day and cauterize your disgusting impact axewound
Optimization and bugfixes
Rockpox is shit, remove it
time for DRG2
I'll never understand what possessed them to make a Survivors game.
>I'll never understand what possessed them to make a Survivors game.
they're just publishing it, it's a glorified fangame
Massive mission, most people will probably fricking hate it honestly but I would love it
>Dual wielding pick axe option
>Engineer platform gun mod to make it like a sticky surface enemies can get stuck to
>Engineer platform gun mod to make the platforms double your jump height and be capable of being "springy" like a trampoline
>Molly gets a translator chip and can speak, but it's voice lines of an angry black woman who doesn't think its her job to haul shit
>got all of the textures and gestures
>the Season 4 gun skins fricking suck
>they want me to unlock 40 more scrip to collect them
lol nope
enjoy them clogging the cargo box so you will never get anything good from it for the next year :^)
I want over clocks for Bosco
Also more robot companions
Option to use the gold to buy jet boots or a bet-c for a team before the mission
Have a pet lootbug you can feed gold
New robot and glyphid bosses
For the far far future update, a new planet to mine on (maybe even have something like borderlands 3 where you can take the ship to the planets to give a different view)
poast em
I'd really want cybernetics that have overclocks
Like the ability to get night vision but the trade off is slower speed
