So what you're telling me is that I missed out on an ENTIRE FREAKING ZONE because I didn't pick up one item in a room in a completely different area after killing a completely optional boss and then hoping to randomly find some obscure object in the middle of a forest that you wouldn't think twice about?
Shit game

Yeah they're meant to be played with a wiki these days
are you talking about nightmare frontier?
He's probably talking about Forsaken Castle Cainhurst.
>because I didn't pick up one item in a room in a completely different area
The Cainhurst Summons is back in Iosefka's Clinic, but you gotta path back from the Forbidden Woods to reach it.
>after killing a completely optional boss
You gotta beat the Witches of Hemwick to enable the stagecoach to arrive at Hemwick Charnel Road.
>then hoping to randomly find some obscure object in the middle of a forest that you wouldn't think twice about?
The obelisk that summons the stagecoach turns blue after all the conditions are fulfilled, but it appears as just an ordinary part of the world geometry before then.
>in the middle of a forest
nah, he's talking about the Tonsil Stone. That's actually in the Forest, not CHL
But you don't have to kill an optional boss to get the Tonsil Stone, Vicar Amelia is a required boss. And you don't even need to get it from the Forbidden Woods itself, Patches will replace the first red lantern npc you interact with anywhere after you've entered the Forbidden Woods to hand the stone over. You can get it from Gilbert's window at the beginning of Central Yharnam if you want.
I did this with the Dragon area in dark souls 3 and let me tell you, I did not miss much.
>game has hidden content I didn't find!?!?
zoomies, everyone
Sekiro did the same thing to me. Of i missed out on an area becauae i didnt eavsdrop onthe fricking homosexual twink and b***hbreasts mcgee at this specific point in the game? Frick that
>nooooooooo how dare you try to add replayability to the game
the zelda fan
I still haven't got the trophy for picking the worst ending with no final boss fight cause it feels like a waste of a playthrough
Back up your save data and get all endings at once without doing a whole playthrough, that's what I did.
The game takes <10 hours to beat
It's great that Fromsoft games have actual secrets in them.
>optional content its optional
>SHIT GAME
why are you moronic?
>rush through entire game in a straight line
>do 0 exploration
>WHAT YOU'RE TELLING ME I MISSED STUFF
try reading the items friend
explore better gay
I don't know if anybody already told you, but you just might be pretty bad at videogames. A lot of people play them, but not everybody is actually good at them, even after hundreds of beaten games
Sounds amazing, like actual exploration and discovery, instead of the slop you see in open world games. I will now play your ONE GAME.
playing it now
seems like the easiest Soulsborne game
that's 3 tho?
obviously its not gonna be as tough as playing dark souls 1 for the first time since youve played at least 3 other soulslike games before this probably but its harder than 3 and elden ring
it is
gascoigne is the great filter then after nothing comes close until the last boss/dlc
even for gascoigne you can get him stuck behind grave stones for the first 2 phases
I find DeS and DaS2 easier, personally, but yes, Bloodborne is not particularly hard. Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring make up for lack of quality with challenging roll timings, Bloodborne doesn't need that.
>infinite health
>dodge forward to win
If you don't play like a coward it's the easiest of them all for sure
3 is eisier
Easiest is Sekiro by far. If you play all the souls games as intended aka without summons.
>truly an amazing game in every way
>have to stop your journey and warp to a different location through a loading screen and talk to an NPC any time you want to level up
WHY?! Stop ruining the games with completely pointless level up npcs. Seriously, why? WHY!!!!
There MUST always be a hub world.
Firelink Shrine became a place of respite without forcing it. I resent the hubs in later games for forcing me to go there
Even worse that you have to skip through the lines the b***h says EVERY FRICKING TIME. It's so stupid. Demons souls didn't have this problem why did they do it like this in DS3 and bloodborne?
I played it for the first time last week. Intentionally played completely blind and thankfully I forgot most of what I saw back when it released. Had a great time but also missed DLC, but still found a bunch of secret areas.
That sounds kino to me. You lack the heart of exploration.
this post is evident of the state of this board, how can you be mad at secret additional content in any way?
