Urshifu was tailor made to frick up VGC.
Its exclusive ability can bypass Protect.
Both exclusive moves guarantee a crit so they bypass Intimidate and screens.
Rapid Strike in particular can bypass Focus Sash with Surging Strikes.
All its missing is a way to beat Fake Out.
And if not for open-sheet it would have been even worse because both forms look exact the same in Team Preview so you can't even prep for it properly 2
I'm surprised they nerfed Transistor, but didn't nerf Unseen Fist. Now that Max Guard isn't a thing, normal Protect should at least reduce some damage. It doesn't even have to be the 75% "couldn't fully Protect itself," it could be 50 or 33%, but it taking Protect counterplay off the menu greatly centralizes the meta on "Pokemon that can take a Surging Strikes."
Unseen fist is just an infiltrator copy, it's nothing special as an ability. The problem is the sum of all of Urshifu's parts, it's a Pokemon that was overtuned for competitive play.

Infiltrator doesn't go through Protect, if it did Dragapult would be insane.
