Is this the vanguard quest? I finished the game yesterday but didn't do the vanguard quest because I went Freestar Ranger and then Ryujin, basically I don't know which quest this is
Same thing but that didn't happen, she was proud of me at the end even though she didn't like the Rangers at the beginning
I actually like Sarah as a character because she lightens up as you increase her affection with you, but this whole quest is just stupid. It's not even exclusive to Sarah, all of Constellation are morons during this quest if you don't trust the heckin' science. Even Sam the fricking space rancher cowboy questions your decision.
it was nice to see the epilogue give 'revive a species from the brink of extinction and find a natural solution to a biological threat choice' some positive lip service. So even if Constellation disagrees, the universe says good job.
>is an idiot >speaks only in platitudes >has a body count including men and women >is such a disgusting prostitute that she dares have her ex girlfriend be the officiant of your wedding if you romance her
Yep. Actually very realistic.
I work with one of them. If a woman character is doing some stupid bullshit that doesn’t make any damn sense, then that character is pretty well written.
It was so bad I felt insulted. It's literally impossible to fail if you just agree with her all the time. Also it went so damn fast. Like 5 "talks" in and suddenly we were talking about marriage. The "flirting" talk also felt cringe beyond belief. It's like the romance was written by a roundtable of gdc autists who's never interacted with a woman before.
you confess your love for her out of fricking nowhere, good thing we aren't voiced because marlon brando, couldn't fricking pull off these cringe lines

Well none of that is told to you at the START of the games main quest. I'd been putting it off because it's so fricking boring running around with these people collecting artifacts and I've only went and grabbed like two, I don't even have the abilities yet.

The main quest is really short in starfield. Even shorter than most other BGS games. If you're playing on PC and really don't feel like replaying what you've done don't bother with the main story yet, or at least starting NG+, it fricks the whole feeling of progression and is implemented kinda shitty by taking away everything you have except your level. Just wait for a mod that lets you keep everything going into NG+, or better yet a mod that saves the state of the universe's side content you've done and only resets the main story.
Why the frick would you want or need to start NG+?
You can do everything the game has in a single sitting and NG adds nothing except an option to skip the main quest or a cheat option for every major dialogue that boils down to "I've done this before, let's skip to the ending".
Like why? There's no replayability in this. None.
The aceles are not a solution. They are a living organism that needs a habitable environment, meaning they cannot protect colonies on bodies without atmospheres or have otherwise extreme conditions. Their large size also prevents them from use in space stations and onboard ships. The idea that they were once used as livestock on a few select colonies so that completely negates any environmental concerns is handwaving at best There is a world of difference between controlled management of livestock and releasing a new species into the wild. These are massive predators, they have to eat something to sustain themselves when there are no terrormorphs or heatleeches around. Yes, they are predators, they hunt down and eat another creature. Even if you can accept that because they were used as livestock it will be fine to reintroduce them to the colonies that used to have them as livestock, what about the colonies that didn't? Unless you're seriously expected to believe that every single colony was given aceles to ranch? They simply cannot be relied on to handle the terrormorph issue.
Instead of plucking a creature from an ecosystem and causing untold amount of damage, with the possibility of human extinction, how about we just reapply nature's solution and strengthen what was lost from ignorance? They can hunt for themselves, live in extreme environments, are peaceful creatures, and if they ever get too overpopulated? Go back to making them into food. There is literally nothing wrong about Aceles especially since they will only matter on human colonies, and future human colonies. Lives are lost everyday, that is just nature and that is life. You chose to live on the frontier of space, so you must be willing to take up the risk and not take the easy way out, or damn not just yourself but others with you. It was very easy for me to pick Aceles, because I actually appreciate God's opportunities and creatures, no matter how horrific or evil they may seem. At the end of the day, terramorphs are dumb brute animals like any other. Sure they copy voices or use mind-control tacts, but more often than not they're shown to be oversized angler fish if anything.
>They can hunt for themselves,
What exactly will they be hunting when they are not hunting terrormorphs? The indigenous animals that have no adaptation to them? How is that not the prime ingredient for an ecological disaster? Or what if the indigenous microbiologies are hostile to them and they all die from disease just from existing on the planet?
> live in extreme environments
They can live in AN extreme environment, the one they evolved in, which seems to be very cold. A species adapted to live in extreme cold probably can't handle extreme heat, or even moderate heat all that well, It also can't live in places without an habitable environment to begin with, like Cydonia. How can they protect human colonies on bodies without atmospheres, or toxic atmospheres, or atmospheres too thin to support life?
>There is literally nothing wrong about Aceles
They can't protect humans on airless worlds, hot worlds, toxic worlds, corrosive worlds, on orbital habitats or ships. They can't eliminate heat leeches living in the tight confines they gravitate towards or inside built up infrastructure. They will upset the ecological balance of every place they are introduced. They simply are not a viable solution.
Is there a mod yet to have her crew perks on your ship without having her around at all yet? They gave the best perks to the Constellation members but made them the most annoying fricks to listen to compared to any of the hireable and unlockable crew members with way worse stats.
You have to wait for the creation kit and script extender to be released, that's when people actually play and are actually interested in a bugthesda game.
At a certain point it does kind of feel like he just wants others to feel like him, which is a soulless psychopath who spares and kills at a pure whim because its "interesting" because they've completely burned out their empathy and decision making after thousands if not millions of universe repeats with no end in sight.
Hunter and Emissary are actually pretty big warning signs that becoming a Tardborn is actually an inescapable nightmare.
I like it, actually. I always feel the urge to just treat Bethesda games as the shallow playgrounds that they are but my autism demands that I at least attempt to roleplay and specialize my character. Starfield's NG+ system means that I can give my character an in-universe reason to be a metagaming scumbag that just does whatever the frick he wants with no rhyme or reason, at least after the first playthrough.
The Hunter is just the average Bethesda game player on their 20th playthrough.
He prestiged so much that nothing is stimulating anymore to him, except for the Spacefarer surviving the Lodge attack in that particular universe. His character reveal was absolutely moronic, though.
This is true of all factions. Every single main companion hates siding with the Crimson Fleet, for example. So when you complete the questline you immediately get slapped with one quest for each of them to go get yelled at for twenty minutes about how you're a horrible person and they're very upset with you.
Sam acted like a total schizo about it. He liked it the first time I suggested going with the Aceles and then disliked it when I actually made the choice at the end.
weird glitch where i aggro'd amelia earhart and it considered her an enemy so i couldnt fast travel
also pissed off my crew at a rate of 3 times per second
Its honestly kind of shit. There are tons of random parts but you need to go to several locations to have access to them all unless you use a mod. Most of them don't visually align perfectly. There will be random weird gaps between major structural pieces of your ship that you can't cover with anything.
Like the other anon said it's jank, but just like Fallout 4's settlement stuff there's a mod on PC and glitches on console that allow you to work around it a little better and actually build cooler things
It's the sole reason I keep playing til I remember that space combat is almost nonexistent. I've found more mineral pajeets in space than hostile ships.
>Talked to a bounty hunter while I had that trait >He gives me an option to pay off my bounty to remove it permanently >"Oh shit, I wonder how much it is. Probably like 1 mil if entire bands of Ecliptic mercs are hunting me down day after day" >It was like 5k
What a fricking letdown.
I saw that too with the bounty hunter chick on Mars, was only like 3K. Why they'd let you choose to discard one of your three limited traits so easily I don't understand. I left it because I like being attacked often but so much for anyone's roleplay experience of trying to scape together just enough to remove it late game, or wanting to feel like you're a huge menace to them with a massive bounty that needs to be taken care of.
You can choose that alien genetics trait and them immediately remove it at the first medical store on New Atlantis via a dialog option too.
Trash game.

All of the traits seem kind of trash, like to the point I don't know why they exist.
I'm pretty sure you can remove every trait somewhere, because they were terrified someone would might get annoyed with their choice. I got offered to remove every trait I chose somewhere in the game. I suppose it's the same fear that made them remove the survival stuff lest it annoy someone.
I can only imagine the most brutal is Kid Stuff, I'm guessing your lack of 500 credits a week makes your parents die in poverty and they're never seen again. Good job.

>I'm pretty sure you can remove every trait somewhere, because they were terrified someone would might get annoyed with their choice
I think you're right. You can even get rid of the "living parents" one. You basically just walk into their house and say "We're done, I'm not sending you any more money. It's over."
This really is dumb as hell. Imagine they didn't reset your level but instead let you respec your perk points as well. The at least each NG+ you could try a different build.
Just wait for the mods to fix everything unironically
It was so bad I felt insulted. It's literally impossible to fail if you just agree with her all the time. Also it went so damn fast. Like 5 "talks" in and suddenly we were talking about marriage. The "flirting" talk also felt cringe beyond belief. It's like the romance was written by a roundtable of gdc autists who's never interacted with a woman before.

I didn’t pay attention to the BG3 spammers in starfield threads when it first came out, but having played both now, holy frick. The companions are not only more interesting and varied, but the voice acting, writing, and mocap is SO much fricking better. I actually feel something for these characters, I can hear the emotion behind their voices. In starfield, I just get some naggy b***h with some of the most unbelievable/cringe dialogue I’ve ever listened to
Thank god for AI deepfake voices. Modders will literally save this game by rewriting the entire thing
God starfield will be such a good game when mods come out.
>solar systems are already a single instance >planets do actually have connected tiles >modders can add 1000 new parts to build ships, space stations, more space content, etc.
It’ll be kino
>There was an interesting interaction I ran into where bounty hunters were fighting another group of friendly mercs >help out the friendly mercs >they tell me that there are now two factions fighting over my bounty >”team collect” and “team protect the bounty so it grows” >he tells me to keep my sorry ass alive and grav jumps out
There are some good little interactions in the game
are some good little interactions in the game
and then you realize there is no end to that bounty hunter interaction because it doesn't make a difference at all
>Two scientists involved in the questline >They disagree on the best decision, each favoring different solutions >Pick scientist A's solution instead of scientist B's solution >"Why didn't you trust the heckin sciencerino?!"
Sarah is a very realistic portrayal of a person that only trusts experts that already agree with her preconceived notions. She had her mind made up the second the dilemma was brought up.
She's honestly a decent portrayal of a very flawed person, but it annoys me that you can't really call her out, the only options you have iirc are "oops I guess I was wrong and should have trusted the science", "frick you", or "let's agree to disagree"
This is a common annoyance I had, your responses suck, even when the quest writing isn't bad. Like when you talk to the SSNN lady about killing Ron Hope and the only excuse you can make is effectively "he tried to bribe me so he had to die"
"b***h he was fricking shooting at me first" isn't an option.
This is funny because I shot Ron Hope in the fricking face and was confused why everyone was saying he shot at me first. Was fricking hilarious, even got some Andreja affinity for it.
>Starborn arrive for the first time >Roundtable meeting, everybody throwing out potential ideas on who they are >Sam suggest that they aren't aliens, but maybe just an offshoot culture of humans that we lost contact with after leaving Earth or something >That seems reasonable, so I agree with him >[SARAH MORGAN DISLIKED THAT]
Oh I'm sorry, am I not allowed to have opinions now you crusty old c**t? The worst part is that I don't think she even expressed any opinion of her own, just silently judging everybody else for theirs.
God starfield will be such a good game when mods come out.
>solar systems are already a single instance >planets do actually have connected tiles >modders can add 1000 new parts to build ships, space stations, more space content, etc.
>her mom is a disgusting rude b***h >she forces you to have the wedding over saw by her ex lover
This is haram and by Allah Sarah's shoulders should be liberated from the burden of her sinful cranium
>Rude b***h >Something about her ex
I didn't get any of that. Mom just looked at me, did an obvious calculation on my karma, and said yeah you're good.
Yeah, you did get all of that, you just didn't pat attention. The African lesbian who officiates your wedding is Sarah's ex girlfriend. Her mom is a super rude psychopath if you follow all of the dialog relating to her and Sarah's relationship.
There is no way to justify melee combat when most of the time you're surrounded by 10 dudes with automatic weapons. Unless you plan on burning through your med packs you're gonna get shot up.
There's no way to justify melee combat when there's no melee weapon mods and like 4 total weapons to choose from. I don't care how strong or weak it is, that complete and total lack of variety makes it a non-starter as far as I'm concerned.
I went melee for my playthrough and it's very obvious they never intended for people to actually use it. I think I found one blue wakizashi and one purple one the entire playthrough. And like you said, you constantly get shot every time you're in combat.
The only way to justify melee would be to put lots of areas in the game where you couldn't bring ranged weapons. Something like space stations that are too fragile to take weapons fire, or areas that confiscate weapons like the casinos in NV. If new atlantis was run by gun grabbers (it'd fit their style like a glove) and there was an underbelly of combat missions there, maybe. OG fallouts also had some unarmed only quests.
Lack of weapon mods is just icing, they didn't bother fleshing out melee because it inherently sucks in a setting with real guns and lasers. I don't know why they even had it except maybe as a side utility thing
I'd put them all as F since I played on the hardest difficulty and barely took any of these, and never had an issue. I think by the time I was done playing I only had pistols and particle guns.
Targeting rank 4 is dogshit simply because it turns all enemies into thermal imaging blobs. I can't wait for mods so I can turn off this stupid effect.
Not to mention the fricking chameleon effect for Sneak 4. It's janky and only hinders the player when the effect removes the reticule on your gun's holo sights. Seems like the devs still haven't listened to feedback about the issues with it in their previous games.
It's really fricked how you can't specifically pick where you want the path through your ship to be. You have to carefully place everything and then try to build around that and can be really annoying. Especially considering there are aesthetic parts of the habs that can get removed because of entrance ways and what not.
I liked Barret a lot more than everyone else. He is my buddy. I regret going in the unity, I'm starting a new playthrough to have my Barret forever. Frick the armillary, frick the star born shit, and frick the factions. When I'm Level 100 and had a long life with Barret and Vasco, maybe I'll consider the Unity.
>no option to take kryx's legacy for yourself >not even an option to hand it over to the freestar rangers
I just gave it to the fleet so I can use their trade hub
Andreja and Barret are such shit characters. Sam and Sarah represent the two main factions but these other two are just space wasters. Should have gotten a Ryujin member or a Spacer as companions instead
I liked Sarah as a no nonsense UC big sister companion who sometimes unloads the frustrations of her position on you but her romance really is shit.
She goes from "stop flirting with me thats inappropriate" to "oh my science you are le light of my life I love you so much darling" way too fast. And the wedding stuff with her mentor is bizarre.
I think she's the best out of the four main companions and her seething at everything outside of UC space always has me laughing but her questline definitely needs improvement. Was it really so hard to have whatsherface who marries the two of you appear earlier in the questline so it isn't "nice to meet you now kiss the bride"
>Constellation does not care about the means, only that you find artifacts. I'm not here to judge you. >NO YOU CAN'T PIRATE THAT SHIP >NO I WON"T HELP YOU KILL THAT INNOCENT MAN >NO YOU CAN'T STEAL THOSE CREDITS >I DON'T FEE LIKE TALKING TO YOU RIGHT NOW
How do I get my Dad to stop playing this shit? He says he's enjoying it but there's tons of other stuff he could be on with. Spider-Man 2 will be out soon.
Use thrusters and keep your speed gauge at the sweet spot to make tight turns. Boost to dodge missiles and break lockon. It helps to build your ship to have 100 mobility which may mean having to add an engine. But if you add too many engines you'll need to invest more power into them to keep them functioning at max speed
Bethesda's never actually provided anything worthwhile in patches, ever. In fact, PC gamers notoriously disable automatic updates because their updates do nothing but break mods 95% of the time.
I have a preference for older women but Sarah is such a killjoy that gets triggered at every opportunity that it turned me off. Andreja is a much better choice, willing to bend the rules when it matters and sometimes likes it. >tell a thief she better cough up the info or I bash her skull in >Andreja liked that
I liked having a lawful good character like Sarah. She is a massive moral gay but at the same time she'd happily throw a thief into jail for five years because he stole a loaf of bread to feed his family.
Man reading through this thread makes me sad, fricking SIRS bait threads about FO3 have infinitely more soul. You all have buyers remorsed induced psychosis
the vaccine ruined my life
>take her along doing the rangers questline
>dislikes everything I do
back to the shed with you, wench
To be fair she's basically the UC stand-in, like how Sam represents Freestar/Rangers.
The companions mostly just reminded me why I usually don't bother with them in Bethesda games and go solo. I just needed them for the storage space.
Sarah isn’t a well-liked character, but she’s a very realistically written female character
No women talk like her except for some washed up old hags, which is what she is anyways
Shut up homosexual
even sara is cringing at that line
I actually like Sarah as a character because she lightens up as you increase her affection with you, but this whole quest is just stupid. It's not even exclusive to Sarah, all of Constellation are morons during this quest if you don't trust the heckin' science. Even Sam the fricking space rancher cowboy questions your decision.

Yep. Actually very realistic.
her romance is unironically the worse written romance i have ever seen, sincerely
Yennifer exists so no.
there are women like yennifer, there aren't human beings like sara morgan
I work with one of them. If a woman character is doing some stupid bullshit that doesn’t make any damn sense, then that character is pretty well written.

There's only three things I hate: women, children, and beasts.
SO WHY DO WE HAVE ALL THREE ON OUR SHIP!?
I fricking married her.
And that son of a b***h murdered her.
So I hunted him across the stars.
And in the end, I slew him.
>married andreja
>rushed to her at the eye

That's what happens? D:
Yes. Just manipulate it so Barret always dies. Your highest affinity character goes to the Eye, your second highest stays back at the Lodge and dies.
it's like a reverse of fournival
Kind of. I also didn't mean that the person who stays at the Lodge always dies, just that the person with your second highest affinity stays at the Lodge.
>don't bother with any companions

Not that I'm aware of.
Yes you actually can in one of the NG+s
Frick man I don't think I'm gonna care enough to NG+ this game unless it adds a LOT

The universe in the epilogue disagrees with you, shut up, not answering your headcanons
Is there a mod yet to have her crew perks on your ship without having her around at all yet? They gave the best perks to the Constellation members but made them the most annoying fricks to listen to compared to any of the hireable and unlockable crew members with way worse stats.
No but there's a pawg mod
>barely any starfield r34
irrefutable proof that this game flopped
You have to wait for the creation kit and script extender to be released, that's when people actually play and are actually interested in a bugthesda game.
my hr department european union bureacrat moron wife Sarah!
God what a ugly hag I don't play games BC I want to look at real women damnit
Yep hags suck
Fallout 3 and stuff has always had a particular brand of annoying writing
The Hunter is literally the most based character in the entire game
Pigskin classic
>trust the science
I hate women so much it's unreal. Love from Kazakhstan.
>So why did you disappoint her Ganker?
the science said Andreja was the superior choice
this stupid b***h also gets mad if you don’t pick the engineered virus, all those shitty companions get mad
Why are you lying, Sarah apologist? Andreja likes the Aceles choice, she even says they look snake like to her which is a bonus.
Sarah is everything wrong about the modern woman in one horrible package
How did the jeets get it so right?
I just wish you could bring the ship you fly through the unity with you. I don’t want to rebuild my ship again and the starborn ship sucks
just got an annoying glitch
i typed up a whole thing about it but it wont let me post it cuz its detected as spam
You should contact bethesda
its ok i fixed it
Wtf is going on here?
weird glitch where i aggro'd amelia earhart and it considered her an enemy so i couldnt fast travel
also pissed off my crew at a rate of 3 times per second
How is the shipbuilding in this game? Is it actually functional and decent or is it "it just werks" tier?
Its honestly kind of shit. There are tons of random parts but you need to go to several locations to have access to them all unless you use a mod. Most of them don't visually align perfectly. There will be random weird gaps between major structural pieces of your ship that you can't cover with anything.
Git gud
Ship building is actually great, although you’re gonna want to mod all parts at a single ship technician
I am going to pirate that ship.
Should've taken the Wanted trait, I'm getting jumped every other system I go to and they're not always pushovers either.
>Talked to a bounty hunter while I had that trait
>He gives me an option to pay off my bounty to remove it permanently
>"Oh shit, I wonder how much it is. Probably like 1 mil if entire bands of Ecliptic mercs are hunting me down day after day"
>It was like 5k
It's over."
Too bad there's no way to respec despite having ng+
This really is dumb as hell. Imagine they didn't reset your level but instead let you respec your perk points as well. The at least each NG+ you could try a different build.
Just wait for the mods to fix everything unironically
I didn’t pay attention to the BG3 spammers in starfield threads when it first came out, but having played both now, holy frick. The companions are not only more interesting and varied, but the voice acting, writing, and mocap is SO much fricking better. I actually feel something for these characters, I can hear the emotion behind their voices. In starfield, I just get some naggy b***h with some of the most unbelievable/cringe dialogue I’ve ever listened to
Thank god for AI deepfake voices. Modders will literally save this game by rewriting the entire thing
>There was an interesting interaction I ran into where bounty hunters were fighting another group of friendly mercs
>help out the friendly mercs
>they tell me that there are now two factions fighting over my bounty
>”team collect” and “team protect the bounty so it grows”
>he tells me to keep my sorry ass alive and grav jumps out
There are some good little interactions in the game
are some good little interactions in the game
and then you realize there is no end to that bounty hunter interaction because it doesn't make a difference at all
You find random pirate/spacer/ecliptic hostile ships in 1/20 systems. Its honestly super pathetic. The entire game could just be fast travel.
Took the vax and had the shits for 20 days. Watery shit. Had to go to emergency room twice for fluids. $3600 bill. Thanks Sarah.
>Two scientists involved in the questline
>They disagree on the best decision, each favoring different solutions
>Pick scientist A's solution instead of scientist B's solution
>"Why didn't you trust the heckin sciencerino?!"
Sarah is a very realistic portrayal of a person that only trusts experts that already agree with her preconceived notions. She had her mind made up the second the dilemma was brought up.
right? the only answer I could think of to this statement is "but I did trust the science."
Shes a woman.
>Starborn arrive for the first time
>Roundtable meeting, everybody throwing out potential ideas on who they are
>Sam suggest that they aren't aliens, but maybe just an offshoot culture of humans that we lost contact with after leaving Earth or something
>That seems reasonable, so I agree with him
>[SARAH MORGAN DISLIKED THAT]
Oh I'm sorry, am I not allowed to have opinions now you crusty old c**t? The worst part is that I don't think she even expressed any opinion of her own, just silently judging everybody else for theirs.
God starfield will be such a good game when mods come out.
>solar systems are already a single instance
>planets do actually have connected tiles
>modders can add 1000 new parts to build ships, space stations, more space content, etc.
It’ll be kino
I didn’t play this game. I didn’t get the jab. I feel great.
>Hey Sarah want to date
>Lets gate married
>Stuck with her in your party until you get married
I forgot this was a Bethesda game up to that point.
>Hey Sarah, let's get married
>Have a beachfront wedding with her mother in attendance
>Divorce her immediately in front of everybody
Devilish.
>her mom is a disgusting rude b***h
>she forces you to have the wedding over saw by her ex lover
This is haram and by Allah Sarah's shoulders should be liberated from the burden of her sinful cranium
>Rude b***h
>Something about her ex
I didn't get any of that. Mom just looked at me, did an obvious calculation on my karma, and said yeah you're good.
Yeah, you did get all of that, you just didn't pat attention. The African lesbian who officiates your wedding is Sarah's ex girlfriend. Her mom is a super rude psychopath if you follow all of the dialog relating to her and Sarah's relationship.
I really wish we had some interiors habs like in the Fortuna
20 dollar dlc
>Cant' steal that ship
Modders will fix it. Same with items being cargo'd when you change modules. Soon I'll have my own stupid museum on board.
The items respawn so it's free money but it's really annoying when it despawns items you want to keep out
Here's the definitive ranking of all combat perks, mostly only matters for someone playing on the hardest difficulty.
There is no way to justify melee combat when most of the time you're surrounded by 10 dudes with automatic weapons. Unless you plan on burning through your med packs you're gonna get shot up.
it could maybe work with powers
I don't know why they even had it except maybe as a side utility thing
melee exists just to mix up the action, it has no purpose to players
its kind of baffling its just like Fallout. they really did nothing at all for it. its actually worse cause you dont even have power armor now.
I'd put them all as F since I played on the hardest difficulty and barely took any of these, and never had an issue. I think by the time I was done playing I only had pistols and particle guns.
Explosives is S tier with explosive gun mods. Specifically Hornet Nest
Targeting rank 4 is dogshit simply because it turns all enemies into thermal imaging blobs. I can't wait for mods so I can turn off this stupid effect.
This was uploaded a couple of days ago
https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/4482
Not to mention the fricking chameleon effect for Sneak 4. It's janky and only hinders the player when the effect removes the reticule on your gun's holo sights. Seems like the devs still haven't listened to feedback about the issues with it in their previous games.
i didnt romance any of the characters cuz i dont like any of them
I like how you can make your own kino loading screens
Post ships I wanna see ships!
Can't into wings, also fricking hate ladders
It's really fricked how you can't specifically pick where you want the path through your ship to be. You have to carefully place everything and then try to build around that and can be really annoying. Especially considering there are aesthetic parts of the habs that can get removed because of entrance ways and what not.
Once you have the research done those habs have no purpose anymore so you don't have to worry about that at least
:OOO
My first custom job
Daaaamn nice hot ride there hot shot.
thanks. I think my next one will be a joke one, just see how tall a ship I can make. Then a star destroyer.
1 floor I hate ladders
>she tells me she doesnt care what you do as long as the jobs done
>has a black pirate running a space station
>gets mad when you murder someone
her "science" had a chance to harm innumerable people and other animal species, while my solution was natural and elegant with built-in failsafes.
I liked Barret a lot more than everyone else. He is my buddy. I regret going in the unity, I'm starting a new playthrough to have my Barret forever. Frick the armillary, frick the star born shit, and frick the factions. When I'm Level 100 and had a long life with Barret and Vasco, maybe I'll consider the Unity.
she's the woke "lawful good" companion. She hates literally everything you do unless it's aligned with her beliefs. Sam and Barret are the best ones
i just wanted the cool giraffe's, didn't care about the science
>no option to take kryx's legacy for yourself
>not even an option to hand it over to the freestar rangers
I just gave it to the fleet so I can use their trade hub
Shame ship combat is kind of ass, I love ship building. It's genuinely the best game for that, which is weird considering they did so little with it.
This 45 year old woman and the Annoying Fan are the only companions I know of in this game. Starfield has no presence....
Andreja and Barret are such shit characters. Sam and Sarah represent the two main factions but these other two are just space wasters. Should have gotten a Ryujin member or a Spacer as companions instead
This game is so bad, it's unreal.
Seething snoys
Yes, PLATFORM WARS is Starfield's issue, lmao. Fricking homosexual.
Jesus this game is so fricking soulless. Pajeetfield
It genuinely annoys me that this board still discusses this game, we agreed it's shit. Get over it.
im actually annoyed the threads shitting on it died out.
Imagine a game so shit people can't even be fricked shitting on it
havent played this game yet but wtf kind of shilling is this? lmaoing so hard rn
even the npc's look like soulless sheep
Bethesda never made an more unlikeable companion, I fricking hate Sarah
>Constellation does not care about the means, only that you find artifacts. I'm not here to judge you.
>NO YOU CAN'T PIRATE THAT SHIP
>NO I WON"T HELP YOU KILL THAT INNOCENT MAN
>NO YOU CAN'T STEAL THOSE CREDITS
>I DON'T FEE LIKE TALKING TO YOU RIGHT NOW
How do I get my Dad to stop playing this shit? He says he's enjoying it but there's tons of other stuff he could be on with. Spider-Man 2 will be out soon.
I don't play games where character look like that.
Draw her like it was the 90s next time
doesnt sound disappointed to me
How do you git gud at spaceship fights? Is there an easy way to dodge?
Use thrusters and keep your speed gauge at the sweet spot to make tight turns. Boost to dodge missiles and break lockon. It helps to build your ship to have 100 mobility which may mean having to add an engine. But if you add too many engines you'll need to invest more power into them to keep them functioning at max speed
>baldur's gate has already 3 major patches and 8 hotfix
>starfield has 1 small patch
Toddbros I feel abandoned...
Andreja is a much better choice, willing to bend the rules when it matters and sometimes likes it.
>tell a thief she better cough up the info or I bash her skull in
>Andreja liked that
I liked having a lawful good character like Sarah. She is a massive moral gay but at the same time she'd happily throw a thief into jail for five years because he stole a loaf of bread to feed his family.
feels great man!
Man reading through this thread makes me sad, fricking SIRS bait threads about FO3 have infinitely more soul. You all have buyers remorsed induced psychosis
