Soldier Boy
context:
Soulja Boy. Video games are supposed to be fun and he was just having fun playing a video game. Johnny Suck should be thankful that people enjoy his video game.
How are those consoles doing, Soulja?
Soulja Boy was also correct about the guy looking like Mario in the future
Braid fricking sucks so Soulja Boy clearly
joey blowie was genuinely distraught over someone buying his game, enjoying his game and promoting his game to their audience because they were having wrongfun
What even was the message of braid?
atomic bombs bad or something
Wait it was about nukes? All I remember hearing about was the ending where you find out that the princess you were trying to save was actually running from you the entire time because you were the butthole, or dinner shit like that.
That's why the princess blows up when you touch her, and then there's the nuclear bomb destroying the city in the background at the start, it's fricking moronic, really pretentious shit, like einstein discovers that time is relative but not directly related to that discovery he also works on the manhattan project.
The whole nuclear bomb shit is ridiculously pretentious, so Soulja boy is right.
AYO DIS GAME FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO DRINK AND GET DRUNK
OR PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO SMOKE WEED AND GET HIGH
As always Jonathan Blow, because he's a genius game developer despite what you losers so desperately want to believe.
On one hand he was enjoying himself, his response to the game was still preferable to the shitheads who let a good game pass em by because of something as moronic as "pretentiousness".
On the other, he clearly didn't get it. And not because of some "deeper meaning" or anything moronic like that. He was literally ignoring the main point of the game (puzzles) and ignoring 90% of the game's mechanics. You would in no way pretend that Soulja Boy's video is a good summary of what Braid is as a game.
>be extremely vague
>get ass ravaged and feel the need to overexplain OUTSIDE YOUR ORIGINAL MEDIUM LIKE A moron when people "misinterpret" your art
jonathan blow is a gay
>be extremely vague
It's a puzzle game, what's vague about that?
vague in the sense that there is no fricking way in hell you would understand how to interpret the meaning of the game and its story by only playing the game and not using any outside resources
Pretty sure "princess was trying to escape you because you were the real bad guy" and later "actually this is analogous to the creation of nuclear weapons" can be picked up from the game itself. It's moronic, but again, it's not that he missed some "deeper meaning", it's that he literally missed what the actual game was. A puzzle game.
The game has a load of hidden bonuses that can be found (where granted some of the more moronic decisions with the game happen) which lets you unlock an alternate an alternate ending where the princess literally blows up and you get a quote about nuclear bombs.
