I'm not 100 percent sure AI could do a picture like OP's. It's very clearly a painting. AI art always looks like it's trying its hardest to be real. That picture, despite being digital, has brush strokes and obvious messy style choices.
Armageddon Empires is on Steam and it is still awesome.
Vic said he would have put Solium Infernum on Steam as well, but can't because of the way copy protection/anticheat works.
Never played the original but the demo was promising. I liked that the overall gameplay design was intuitive to human psychology: you bully an opponent if you believe you are stronger than them. The extent to which you can do this is balanced by the extent to which they can inflict pain in turn. Demand tribute, wager the game-winning noun 'Prestige', and they keep your Prestige by refusing but Hell's laws now permit you to use force to perform an objective that is secret from them. If you are even more confident of your objective superiority, you throw an insult that dares them to attack, and watch them refuse or accept the insult and lose face in front of all the demon lords in Hell's parliament. If the dynamics of whatever relationship you sustain remain in place for multiple exchanges, you can declare them too-weak to deserve existence, and demand to be assigned the job of evicting them. That at least is the most direct way of eliminating opponents.
>I hope they will polish it more than they did Armello though.
I thought they were dead, but apparently not. It's only their Jumplight team. Still though, they could just be saying that so people buy Solium Infernum and then they'll lay off that team as well.
Yeah, no. These are the devs of Jumplight Odyssey, an Early Access game that was abandoned after about 3 months of development because the devs ran out of money. But this one they'll finish! Totally promise!
>Want to wait for game to release in full before buying it >Game gets dropped because I didn't buy it in early access
I guess this is the future we chose.
I no longer feel.
You play as a demon so it feels really fricking haram.
Not interested. Is there an Armageddon Empires remake?
Remake looks like AI genrated everyhing.
Absolutely soulless.
Don't know about that. The pic in the op seems like something akin to a CK3 loading screen mixed with Wayne Barlowe and Jakub Różalski.

Yeah, that's the promot they used.

>Muh AI
Absolutely buck broken.
Looks terrible
this, feels like everything shown are fake mock ups made by an AI.
Just put the original Solium Infernum and Armageddon Empires on steam/gog and use the money to make a sequel that isn't shit.

Seems to be a multiplayer focused game but the developer already went under, so I don't know if it has legs to stand on.
>op image looks cool
>idea reminds me of Barlowe's books
>get interested
>look it up on youtube
>hexes
Killing myself.
I'll watch some streams and decide

Scam artists. Scum.

The demo was pretty good if somewhat limited. I'll definitely check it out when it comes out.
