got you covered
If you insist on physical miniatures, there's Fallout Wasteland Warfare that can put faction under "AI control" (via deck of cards + dice rolls).
One of the best was that game with plastic dolphins and cubby cups. Not sure how this is a actual strategy game company though? They made kids toys and dolls? Nice bait though dude
Not familiar with "GMT" as an acronym and google ain't helping, but if you mean miniature gaming, and especially the 18th/19th century per your image, then I've seen a few youtube channels use Sharp Practice for some fun-looking battle reports of various sizes.
what the frick are you morons talking about. GMT make PHYSICAL tabletop wargames, this guy doesn't want vidya.

I will admit, I did get that but assumed (yeah yeah, I know the saying) that if it WAS a specific company then OP, as a fan, would already know what they do, so it couldn't possibly be them. Right? (Wrong).

Speaking of wrong, today I learned that there are people who think Sharp Practice is /v territory.
Damn what a toxic thread. Wtf? To answer your question, I don't know of many GMT games but hear good things about them. Mr President is a very good solo game, not really a wargame but autistic and very much a joy to play of you light autism maxxing.
Navajo wars, mr president, every COIN game has bot flow charts included.
You can also look into ion games/sierra madre. Stuff like Bios Genesis, High Frontier, Pax series, and Greenland.
COIN, Levy and Campaign series also works pretty well. Playing both sides in hex and counter with no hidden information is fine. Anything Mark Simonitch, GBoH.
For something lighter the Hunters, Silent Victory.
I recommend Grand Tactical Series (GTS). Not explicitly a solitaire system but chit pull systems lend themselves quite well to solo play. Most of the games in the series need a huge amount of table space and are expensive if even available but thankfully the vassal mods are amazing. Rules are free, Race for Bastogne is the most recent in the series. In general you can't really go wrong with MMP but GTS is a little bit unique in terms of unit scale vs scope.
The Battalion Combat Series is also very good but very different from how most h&c games operate. If it needs to be GMT others have made solid recs.
The COIN series is one of my favorite to solo. If you've never played one and don't know where to start, look for Cuba Libre. That one is pretty easy to get into.

Shut the frick up moron.
I have heard good things about NATO Air Commander, set in fictional WW3 in 1987.
It is always good to do fun things without looking at monitors.

first google result I got for "GMT games" was a company that makes crunchy, autism-tier wargames.

Stop being a autist then LMAO. Frick off to vst dumbass
>/tg/ recommends avoiding traditional games
we get this with every solo game type lol, some posters get really mad at people actually playing stuff for some reason

Oh shit, I totally forgot I have that.
Makes sense, every board is shit at its official subject, /tg/ likely enjoys boardgames the least of them.

Fields of Fire
Try something like Lone Sherman by Mike Lambo, he makes a whole series of solitaire wargames.
Get "Heroes of the Bitter Harvest" from Lock N Load Publishing for some good tactical combat, with included solo module.
If you want SciFi, Space Infantry Resurgence is great fun.
If dead set on GMT, get any of the COIN games. Also, The Hunters/The Hunted for some submarine warfare.
DVG make some good options too - Hornet Leader for some air combat, Sherman Leader for some tank combat.
Or pick up Advanced Squad Leader Starter Kit, and play against yourself. That can be a slippery slope though (I know from experience)
Space Empires 4X is all I play anymore.
you ever tried integrating it with talon to fight out the battles?

Scythe has a Solo mode.
