Somebody traded me a shiny spidops
What am I supposed to do with this thing?
Just set up sticky web and hope it doesn't die too fast?

Why does Gamefreak hate the bug type so much?
>NOOOO! WHY IS THE BUG DESIGNED FOR WEAK EARLY GAME MONS THAT EVOLVE FAST BAD OUTSIDE OF THE EARLY GAME
buggays are pathetic
lokix pulls its weight even in competitive thoughever
Volcarona, meanwhile, literally cannot stop being considered "too powerful" when it's allowed to gain traction by spending ONE (1) turn preparing Quiver Dance.
The "BUG IS SUPPOSED TO BE SHIT!" argument stopped applying a very long time ago when they continue to support and create standout species like that.
Volcarona almost feels like a legendary, especially with its stationary encounter
>NOOOO! WHY IS THE BUG DESIGNED FOR WEAK EARLY GAME MONS THAT EVOLVE FAST BAD OUTSIDE OF THE EARLY GAME
Spidops consistently pulls its weight all the way through the game, it is not bad at all for ingame purposes.
Really lacking for PVP though.
>absolute bottom of the barel turnermons get amazing shiny
>meanwhile pokemon people actually care about get shit llike this
WHY?
to make you mad you stupid loser
Gamesfreald!
Better than Ledian.
Not an argument, only Dustox is worse tan Ledian.
Ledian is not even bad. Its a solid supporter
>Spidops can't even use Eviolite
Hardest of hard F tier mons.
What a shame, we really do need a viable bulky sticky web setter and this guy could have been it.
>bulky sticky web setter
araquanid?
I mean kind of?
Something about Araquanid just doesn't work, though.
I mean, when its only reliable recovery is Leech Life, its tough to justify bringing it into a team.
Totem araquanid? The bug was a common sight in gen 7 vgc iirc.
Ah yeah Totem was solid but not as a Sticky Web setter. That was a cheese tactic abusing how insane the Weight of Totem Araquanid was.
I think araquanid's problem is you don't want it to set webs. It has stab, plus ability giving it extra stab on water, then put him on the rain and suddenly moves are at x2.5 without stat boosts.
>I think araquanid's problem is you don't want it to set webs.
Yeah absolutely. Its also EXTREMELY slow, literally near the bottom, and its not even a "Good in trick room" kind of mon either.
Definitely agree its decent, just not the kind of bulky bugmon I want for my adorable Shedinja-fuelled bug power team.
i mean, webs are a full-on hyper-offense archetype. if you're sitting around recovering, you're not playing webs right.
Fair. But potentially opening up Webs to different, more bulky offensive archetypes wouldn't be a bad thing, which is what I want.
>sets up web
>sets up rocks
>cucks people who think its setup fodder with encore
Kneel
>final gambits your path when its job is done
absolutely kino mon.
shuckle confirmed for #1 pokemon
desperately needs an evolution so I can put eviolite on it
Have it make Destiny Knots.
I had one of these on a draft league team and yes, hazards is the only thing it really has going for it, that and First Impression. If they switch out to bring in their hazard remover, STAB First Impression with Stakeout can do a decent chunk of damage, but it's only really worthwhile if sticky webs is your win condition for speed control.
That's actually a pretty sexy shiny you got there.
