Mega moron, doing a arc build in bloodborne pretty much requires you to farm dungeons, and wanting to get the correct gem pattern on your weapon also requires you to hit up the dungeons, both games can be completed with or without, you're just on full cope mode
You don't need gems to play the fricking game stop coping and accusing others of coping. You'd maybe need them in ng+ or ++. Game's easy enough as it is.

I agree and that guy is a moron but honestly the waning fire gem behind the alleyway brainsucker and bolt gem are more than enough to get through basegame. Not to mention iirc stuff that has split scaling(?) like Tonitrus or Wheel get their arcane related damage buffed when using physical gems. At least that's definitely the case for Chikage and it's Bloodtinge attacks but I swear equiping physical gems on Tonitrus increased the bolt attack. You could easily throw some other non damage gems in the slots with the waning fire gem though like a Droplet and the gold gem or some shit.

Ok b***h I didn't know because I never leveled up this stat BUT you're going to tell me that chalice dungeons, an entirely optional set of dungeons that MAY be necessary for arcane gays, and that you can farm anyway online with the correct password extra fast are as bad as the layout of Elden Ring made in the classical ubishit sense with uncountable shit dungeons layering the world and hiding important items ( aka not fricking gems for, again, one build not played by most people)?

He is being disingenuous, there are 3 arcane related gems in basegame (waning fire, waning bolt and arcane droplet) but chalices are better than the Elden Ring dungeon things.
less than 10% of armor sets or weapons are from caves in ER though? Yeah there might be one or two for a critical build you want but the majority of weapons are either outside catacombs, in legacy dungeons, drops from enemies, boss rewards, shop buys or general exploration loot
They literally fixed the achievement grind but granting you a rare gem in the DLC you fricking moron. You literally don’t have to do chalice dungeons for anything unless you’re a min max gay.
