Sure, but sorta of killing his sister, Thunder deserved to be humbled like that. He was an butthole to the Hero of Oakvale since the very first time they met, and for absolutely no reason too. No matter how great of a man he turned out to be, Thunder still treated him like shit.
He deserved to be knocked down a few pegs.
But really though, after killing his sister, cucking him doesn't even seem that bad.
I always felt bad killing Whisper though. She was a good friendly rival, aside how she'd always steal my kills during the hobbe contest and brag about it.
It wasn't just cucking him. It was cucking him with the woman he loved. Remember he was completely head over heels for the mayor of bowerstone even though we find out pretty quick she's obviously an evil person.
We should have had more time with Whisper tbh. 2 extra, even optional scenes would have done it. Like maybe 1 during the teenage training years where you could be rebellious and sneak out of the hero grounds and get in some fights in the real world before sitting somewhere and imaging your futures together and what amazing things you'll do and her telling you about her hopes and fears (before being found by Maze who teleports you both home). As it stands I didn't feel very bad killing her because she always was pretty annoying
Fable was always extremely silly, Peter sold us a hot bag of lies about what fable was going to be, but in the end they were all fairly okay fantasy adventures which shouldn't be taken seriously
But I'm into that, so I'm cautiously optimistic for the next one

stick with shilling for vroom vroom games, tardo
I'm cautiously optimistic for the actual gameplay trailer but so far we pretty much seen nothing so I don't have much hope for the game at all. No good/bad or other sliders and how they affect your characters look. Or just how your character can look like a hulking beast or a rune scarred wizard depending on your build. Hell they didnt even show any magic except for a fireball. No Hobbs, no cool weapons, boring clothing, no customization shown, no guns, probably a frick ton of other things but most of all they didn't show off any choices. I know "choose your path" in games is usually almost pointless to include But for fable it did serve a purpose.
>bunch of people explaining all the tricks and shit to get skorms bow >hurr you need to be max good and sacrifice your wife to get it >durr 20 villagers sacrificed to get it >pick nothing but good options up to oakvale >hire the mercenary there >sacrifice him >get the best ranged weapon in the game imediately
Fricking morons
Also, if you cast berserk, find a bed and sleep, but close the game and moron from your last save before you finish sleeping, the buff will be permanent until you recast it.
Over TLC? Not really. The pros are that the UI scales so it's not tiny if you play at 4k, and if you want to play on a controller, its better supported. But the artstyle is worse, especially lighting which is changed to some unreal engine shit, and characters faces get butchered.
if you're going to play Lost Chapters then you should just play Anniversary. it has LC content + more stuff, and the harder difficulty is exclusive to it, and it has native controller support with either Fable 1 or Fable 2/3 button mapping
literally only ever gets shit on for the graphics but everything else about it is a step up, and if you're not playing the masterpiece original on the first Xbox then just play Anniversary.
>ITT: zoomers pretend to have played Fable
Anon, that's been happening since the seth review...
I really enjoyed Fable and I replay it every few years
You can't plant a tree and see it grow.
but I can kill a niggress and her brother
you can also kill his sister then cuck him before finally killing him
it's weirdly brutal how horrible you can be to him

fable is shit.
>b-but you can fart a-and be good or evil a-and...
it's shit.
This.
Now fable lost chapters. That's the good shit

You sound like you wouldn't have enjoyed the original games either
none of that was in the original games, you moronic redditor
Confirmed for never playing the original games

I really doubt the devs give a single shit about any of the earlier games if they even looked at them.

Nice toddlerjack
>tfw they turn Fable into a Witcher knock off
Fable is my favorite franchise. It filters normies very hard.
>play fable
>dislike doing "evil" deeds because it makes me feel bad
what is wrong with me
low t
true 🙂
>not farting in your wife's face and beating her to death for not laughing at your joke
My only exposure to this game was some kid in 4th grade describing it to me and me not believing it could exist
That was my introduction to it, the lying shit head told me you could set fire to cats and sling them by their tails through houses.
Fable 2 was the best. Wish the play testers didn't kill the play as your kid after you die system. Would've been amazing.

Restart*
Time for bed I guess
I always marry lady grey as a good hero, her dialogue changes when she is married to be nice to you so in my mind my righteous wiener turns her good.
For me, it's Fable 2
Just feels like home
Fable 2 is the hollow shell of fable.
What's the best way to even play this these days? I remember they did a remaster but I don't know if it was any good or not
is the anniversary edition any good?
