I'm hyped for it. I like Soul Knight quite a bit and I have a very strong autism for custom characters. I haven't really seen mobile hack and slashes of this kind elsewhere so I'm very much looking forward to it.
They let me into the last playtest even though I put into my application that I'm a radical F2P, I did my best to report bugs during it. Dipped my toes in the combo classes a but as well. I'm currently thinking of making a Stormwarden, an Assassin, a Rogue, and whatever the name of the Warrior+Aegis class is. Will probably focus on the first two early on. I'm kind bummed that lightning and frost were rolled into one class since I really wanted to have a cryomancer battlemage character but the majority of actually good Stormwarden abilities are lightning-based.

Kinda weird they let me through, I thought I only got in because they were letting everyone into the last test, given that I have no history of community participation or microtransactions.
Weird, they sent out mails about prequel tests in Soul Knight before, but I haven't received anything about recent tests. Either way it's coming out soon-ish, so not that long left to hold out.
Hope they fixed their fricked up world filter that censored names like Faust, Raven, and Iron.

Everything looked awesome except NG+ gear. As a minmaxing autist I can already tell the anguish I'll be going through.
I'm also a little scared of the whole new future classes deal because there is no class respect that I've seen so far. I'm worried that I might max out a Stormwarden only for some sexy Necromancer+Warrior combo to be released and want me to switch.

It's a looter RPG, kinda like Diablo Mememortal but good. Don't think there was gacha during all of its beta tests.
Are stat rolls on gear technically gacha? I guess not since the gear isn't collectible, right?

I think you'll need Animancer for that, and as you can see, it's a paid class (obtained thru battle pass). As for what you want, not really sure. Maybe Soulkeeper? Heretic just adds fire to Animancer's summons iirc.

I've been waiting for the release since the announcement, I participated in one of the betas, and on release game the play store is telling me my device is not compatible with it so I can't even download the app. If only you jave even a feint idea of how hard I am SEETHING right now.
I sent them an email asking if this is pemranent, and they gave me a response that they're trying to optimize it for all devices on the market, which sounded a bit corporate and wishy washy, but I do hope they were serious and this problem is just temporary. If I'm lucky, I'll even get to claim the server downtime compensation at some point.

Can somebody explain this APK thing to me? I downloaded and SKP APK and it just refused to install. Then I downloaded some APK app and tried to install SKP that way and it once again refused to install.

Server isn't the problem. The fact that play store isn't allowing me to even download the thing on account of alleged device incompatibility is. That lad namedropped APKs like I was some kind of moron stuck on a 3rd grade math problem, so I figured it's just that simple, right? Apparently not.

mumu player lets me in on pc, on phone if I vpn to japan it lets me in most of the time.
some things are fricked, if I kill to fast it lags out, I cant mass dismantle and collecting plants takes longer then child birth.
some people are apparently using Korean VPNs to forcibly connect to the Korean server that's seemingly somewhat free of the problems plaguing the other servers
tried it myself, ain't foolproof but at least it's playable most of the time

get lifesteal fatebound and honestly you should be fine. Plus upgrading your gear will naturally give you more defense.

I just started playing this game 1h ago and must say it's quite good. Brings me back to a game I used to play called "Elsword" which they 100% took inspiration from.

on difficulty 2, what fatebound set should I go for this glass cannon assassin build?
lifesteal, manasteal is also nice if you hate mana reave. backlash causes your skills to basically double cast, stack with tactful swoop for triple casting skills. brutality is also good for the free crit and crit damage.
Does anyone know if this game has some kind of infinite levelling? Like, do you get even more stats after level 50 by gaining XP? I really prefer finite power games, and I'm afraid if this one is an infinite grinder.
you have 75+ extra levels called apex levels, they take quite a bit and carry over to other characters. putting a few points into str dex or int gives you bonuses such as increased mana regen, or increased all damage or movespeed.

its more of people don't want to jump through hoops for a game but want it to magically work.
my favorite are the people calling for rollbacks or server restarts because people have already "beaten it" and that the leaderboard system is full.
don't understand that complaint when the season lasts like a month and a half so they have all the time in the world to catch up

If you've played Enter the Gungeon and/or like bullet hell roguelites, then yeah maybe.
All I know about "rogue likes" is you start over from 0 when you die, so that just basically makes it a regular arcade game right (assuming you were going for 1cc)?
I'm a big fan of Cave games so I will check it out for the bullet hell aspect I guess.
I wouldn't be hyped for Prequel if SK itself wasn't good. I'd just recommend that you spend your initial funds on upgrading one character that you resonate most with so you can get the ball rolling on all the other upgrades. The initial stages of the game may give you a false impression that it's a massive arduous soul-sucking grind when you don't have either the experience or strong characters, but the more you play the easier it gets and the more gems you start accumulating.

Pretty good diablo clone for mobile. Biggest gripe i'm having is with the abysmal drop rates for legendary items. Not sure if its intended but if you fail at enhancing equipment, it reduces the level of the item
