I am 5 hours into Baldur's gate 3 and the more I play, the more I realize the game is fricking soulless. It feels like larian just went through all the check lists to make a RPG for reddit. Nothing about this game oozes any soul to me. Worst is people eating it up calling it GOTY.

I haven’t played it since the early EA three years ago, and I’ve been cautiously defending the game “sure it’s dos3 with the Baldurs gate name slapped on, but it’ll probably still be a fun game and I liked the EA so far”. I’m getting bad vibes about it seeing all the moronic shit they added in character creation. And the UI is somehow worse. I’m giving it a chance but it’s not looking good bros. Still not finished making a custom party.
