Shit wording but kind of. The difference is that the guy behind the project is actually reasonably good at writing and was trying to get a series going for like forever. He has a unique and interesting style that's more than just "gay demons singing" or "sad clown girl stuck in windows 95."
My only real criticism of Liam is that he has a particular type/style that he likes and has done it like, 3-4 times. But to be fair, murder drones was the only time he actually got a full series. If he gets another series and does it again for like the 4th-5th time, then I'll complain.

You could squeeze two factions into one. They have some parallels with necrons. Those being self regenerations, being robots, being very deadly, Undead (talking about the solver), plus the whole metal to flesh thing the solver does.
The more I think about it the more I like it. Didn't expect the idea to be so kino. The basic troop would be fast and easy enough to put down when you kill it, but not so easy to put down for good. If more unit types are needed the solver doing its wacky tentacle things is always an option. I mean chaos does it all the time with their troops and machines.

For an animation online it's pretty good. The show has a 2000's vibe to it, like you're watchineach other cute robosapiens kill eachother. That said, it's very fast paced with a lot of "blink and you miss it details" and the dialog can be clunky. The pilot having the worst of that. However, I'd give Murder Drones a chance.

I'll tell you right now: Ignore MD fans entirely. They are not a reliable perspective on anything to do with the show. It's mediocre at best and took years to figure out what the frick it was even trying to be about, and in that time it has cultivated one of the most obnoxious fanbases currently active on the internet. Nothing else Glitch has put before Digital Circus rates above a 5/10 as a whole. MD gets a bonus point for some decent visuals on a couple later episodes, but has nothing else to redeem it.
As you can see, they are already in the thread and they are doing a wonderful job of proving why they need to be contained to their shitty little circlejerk threads on Ganker.

The Absolute Solver created the Disassembly Drones, their mission upon landing on a planet is to "clear drop-zones of life and construct spires" as explained in-universe. They are the Solver's grunts, puppet-hosts that attack target planets and prepare them for consumption by the Solver. As depicted by the flashback in question.

The thing is with the wings is that they have so many individual parts that it would probably be really flimsy. Though you could just leave the gaps between the wing blades filled in just to keep them stable, I guess. It would look a little worse but different shades of paint for the wings and the gaps would make it look less like a giant blob.
If you make the wing supports thick enough it shouldn't be too much of a problem honestly, also the wingspan can probably be lowered a bit for the purpose of putting it on a mini so it's less likely to snap

Probably. Space King seems to have exactly one joke spread and repeated across 17 minutes. The original trailer was fun due to the minimal time investment but the full episode was honestly kinda weak. If you're going to be half-again longer than an episode of Metalocalypse you have to bring at least as many jokes as them to the table.
We'll see with the second episode, honestly. I was sufficiently entertained by the first one, even though the entire joke is "MANLY MEN AND breasts". I think it's fine as long as it stays charming.
