Man this game is so fricking fun I love it, you get 1 summon per stage clear and the colors, music and aesthetic are so vibrant. I don't think I could ever get tired of this game. this game is fugging amazing, 10/10 soundtrack, a funny and good story, cute monster girls and good visuals, I really like how the lore reaason for the battles being 2d sprites is because the girls can change their dimensions, and that you literally play as (You). gacha rates are really good too, 3% for the rarest rarity and focus banners mean any of the rarest raity pulls you get have a 50% chance to be the focus characters. I haven't enjoyed a game this much in a long time, everything about it is just great.

You buy those items from the Vending Machine using the Neutron Star currency from Chapter 3
You will eventually unlock the Cocoon Park where you can passively farm stuff. You can increase their stats in the Journey Center

I have Patch as my only non-level 40 Leaper because I ran out of the Cube material to promote her Grade. Other than that all of them have green gear (although most of it isn't levelled) and I'm working on their Gene upgrades too. Just going to sit it out until tomorrow, I made satisfactory progress in my eyes. Doubled my 3 star entourage so that was fun.
It's an actual lineup with synergies. Would be easy to counter maybe but that would entail bringing shitters up to 30 or 40 with resources I don't have. So brute force it is. My power is 89k and they still frick me. Absolutely ridiculous.
You an get refunds for your current units for the full amount you invested in them but that requires a currency I have no idea if I have, and if I do have it, I have no idea how hard it is to get or how expensive refunding it comparatively

You can reset leapers that are under lv 60 for free. The currency (Decompilation Points) is not worth buying from the shop imo. I would rather wait for the event.

Yeah, the Genes. You get 2 for 1 star dupes and 6 for 2 star dupes. Haven't gotten a 3 star dupe but I imagine it's pretty high. You use them to increase the Leaper's Stage to 5 and then they can Phase Up.
it's like princess connect but better, you get 4, 6 and 30 character pieces depending on rarity and then you get a set amount of currency that can be used to buy character pieces in the shop that scales up in price the more you buy. When princess connect did it, it was fairly well done but you ONLY got the currency and couldn't naturally grow lesser used characters, this is easily the best way it could've been done so you don't feel like you wasted your summons when you get dupes.

Seems pretty generous throughout my dude, you have the Leaper Odyssey minigame mode that's a dungeoncrawler style with buffs and has Pills as the rewards, daily Bounty missions with Pill rewards, then the campaign missions and daily Proxy missions to get Diamonds which you can use to buy Pills, the freebie ads giving Diamonds. I think the economy is actually pretty damn healthy. Of course it runs out at some point but you just have to wait for reset to refresh the supply, but it's a gacha, it's supposed to have daily players. You don't want your playerbase to burn out so quickly after beating all the story levels and then have nothing to work towards. There are whales who have already gone to Chapter 12 in the game and now they have nothing to do before the summer event.
It's fun as frick, my favorite game mode, but goddamn that 26% checkpoint boss is bullshit. 106k power level my ass, my 130k power level team keeps getting wiped no matter how many gold buffs I get. I need to raise my Doris so she can tank hits when reset happens and I get more blue cubes to promote her.

Pretty sure the AI has many of the unique character gear skills unlocked. Diye's is very noticeable. So is Doris'. I'm personally unlocking Doris's gear asap but looks like it might take a while.
I wrote off Diye too soon. She does often get 60k-80k heals off at levels 60/70 which is significant. Very dependent on timing and positioning though.

the breads? when you click on the building the >> symbol lets you choose how many to use, they speed up time but if something takes a long time to craft then a handful of bread might not speed it up enough to give you one resource

Hmm, I can think of a few things
-Is your whole team level 50?
-Are they all equipped with levelled gear(you used the infinity stone items to level them to 10 or so?)?
-Have you spent all your Cloud System points for the tree skills?
-If you have a huge stash of Gene Slides you should consider buying a Leaper's Genes from Peru's Emporium to increase their Stage for a huge stat bonus (obviously don't pick Doranana though since the event gives you hers for free)
-Feed them a whole bunch of gifts to increase your best Leaper's feelings towards you and unlock extra stats through their respective friend shown on the tree
The Gene duplicate to raise the Stage thing is probably the biggest thing I overlooked in the game, spending it on 2 of my 3 stars, X and Doris, helped me go from the 4th survey's 25th floor to the boss fight at the 40th floor as soon as I did it. I was hoarding 300 Gene Slides but I realized if I pull dupes I can just spend the excess Gene Slides in the shop anyway. The only thing you really need to hoard in this game is pull currency for the summer banner imo.
To get the first giftpack purchase bonus, can it be in the time limited server giftpack? Or does it have to be from the daily/weekly/monthly giftpacks?

pretty much the only use for dupes, the game automatically converts them to Genes, which are the Stage and Phase upgrade materials

This level 24 absolutely rapes me. I have 6 girls at 40 right now and they are near instant killed. My tank is the kuma girl and she is gone in first half second of battle. half my team is dead before the first skill charges.
How does their File page look like? You should have green gear at this point equipped to them and have as much of it at level 10 as possible. You might have to sit on a day and level your best ones to 50 if you already have decent gear because most of this game is either gear upgrading or level cap increasing through grade.

I have no idea what green gear is. It was only a few battles ago that the gear battles unlocked at all, and I only had 3 tickets for 3 gear runs (did one run for each gear type).
If you go to your repository and click on the gear tab you'll see all the gear pieces you've collected, green gear is just qualified quality level gear, white is the worst and shouldn't be levelled

playing since this came out in global, i've spent .99c to get israelite fox and won't be spending any more.
my experience so far.
i got most of my main girls to lvl 70 and doing the chaos survey dungeon and just like every other dungeon, there's a roadblock every 10 floor lvls.
i hardly get enough equipment upgrades to level my gear to 15/25, let alone having 3 chances a day to get blue or the impossible purple gear. at my level i thought i would be getting better gear cause one of the missions on day 4/5 quest is to get one. yet i get destroyed each time i try and do the first purple run gear run.
i send out my girls to get me stuff while most of the stuff they get is decent, i feel getting the blue character upgrade stuff is so small. this is what i feel like it a limited my playing experience and it's quite frustrating. can lvl up my characters to lvl 80 but can't cause the lack of these blue upgrade mats you get are so limited.
then there's the blue crystals that upgrade each character unique gear, it's easy to get the basic mats, but once you reach to lvl 8, you're basically fricked cause you have to wait for your girls to make said crystals and farm them in the dailies gear/crystal dungeons. plus you need to get them to lvl 16 to get the unique effect, while the monsters i'm fighting seem to have the max. i found this out with that order fairy who you kill keeps getting full hp when you kill her, it's her unique gear at max lvl effect.
the pulls are quite generous, like every 3 10 pulls i do gets me 3 star and once i manage to get 3 3 stars in one pull.
HOWEVER you need the dna to make your characters that much stronger, i've been using the rainbow dna to lvl those who i am using and i manage to get most of them to 4/5 stars.
waiting on the 7 day log in reward to get the other 50 dna for the liquid metal naked girl so i can get her 5 stars.
this game is very limited and makes frustrating roadblocks to frustrate you into buying more pulls.

Bro you're trying to do weeks of content in days this isn't that kind of game like Pokemon where you can beat the entire thing in a week, it's a long term slow burn.
I barely got all 8 of my core team to level 60 today and I'm still getting swept by teams with 20k less power than me, I still need to start upgrading their gear. But I've never felt the need to buy pulls once that wasn't from the free Diamonds they give you in-game. It is definitely frustrating hitting a wall, but that's why you have the Survey mechanic, to gather materials while you sleep or are away with other stuff. I've played other gachas but I haven't felt burned out a single bit at all, even though my last 3 stars have all been dupes. I'm going to wake up in a few hours and make Doranana a level 70, and then I'm gonna carve out a few more floors in the Chaos survey level. Bit by bit, piece by piece, I'm gonna keep busting it out. Only gripe I have is how the gene prices in some of the shops don't rotate out. I'm not gonna buy the demon girl's gene pieces, why can't it be swapped for another?

It take thousands to limit break a basic until from 30, and running non stop bounties just for that currency its like 90 per run over 6 hours. It's partly an idle game so it's not designed for you to blaze through in a day. I understand that can feel annoying when you just want to progress, but it's basically the game telling you to do something else for a bit. You're not missing out on anything if you just chill out with some other game for a day ort two sans the daily login for rewards. Though you seem to have tried waiting already.
Though it can be that it's not about lacking levels and you just encountering a level that actually requires you to think about the placement of your units and what units and resonances you got. Also, you do get some usable items that give hours worth of materials, if you haven't used any of them, you could use them to skip ahead.
Also remember that you can level gear too. 15 for blue is recommended and 25 for purple. At 15 and 25, you gain some stat bonuses on the gear. You can also level Character gear (the character specific equipment each character have) as well as raise their stars if you got enough character pieces. The Emporium has character shards.
I was wondering if it was a problem with resonance, it says I have 5 fire and 3 mage resonance active but my team wipes in seconds.
I am stuck with some off-element girls. The green sword girl seems useless, as an example but she was my first 3* and i invested in her.
Positioning in this game is very important, especially once those tiles on the boards come in. It's why they give you a quick reset option so you can rearrange those pieces.
Also consider upgrading your gear and focusing on breakthroughs. Those give the most amount of stats for Leapers. Around this level the resonance doesn't really give a whole lot especially if your Leapers die so quickly.
Most gear is still story/progress locked at this point. I can level my rollerscates some more and see what happens. So far its been like minimal gain per gear level but if something magic happens at 15 ill see how it goes.
I think it's the grind for those gears that are very tough. It's hard enough to get enough material for the upgrade, AND it still costs EXP?

No one ever said this. I said i have never run into a brickwall this early before in a mobage. The game is super generous on free rolls but extremely limiting on what you can do with your time and has nothing so far to grind. Many options to get stronger are still locked behind story progress.
Something like AL, GFL, FGO, Arknights epic 7 you can play them for a month straight since early progress and early rewards are balanced allowing normal growth. There will be stuff to farm, side tasks to accomplish and level ups restore just enough stamina to keep you playing for another hour or 4. You would have to put in many hours and days before you ever felt the effects of a time gate halting your progress in any of those games, other than maybe limited “day of the week farm spots for specific materials/gear.
This on the other hand feels like one of those early farm or city building games from 2010 where there is a rare resource that autoaccumulates and you just log in to collect it. If it is enough to upgrade you do so then progress a bit more until the next day. Maybe a pvp option where if your city has higher attack stat then the enemy You win.
I admit i didnt know all sources of “blue shit” which seems to be the most limiting resource at this point. The trick was “spend premium currency to speed up expedition or buy the blue shit boosting cards in the shop”. I wasn't spending enough premium currency it seems so that is on me.

I mean not bad I personally thought Moon fell off for me but then again I haven't gotten a dupe of her yet. Just keep in mind your Gene Slides can help you out so spend them when you have enough. I would pick Peru or X in your case, Peru is a huge AoE damage dealer, X does huge single target damage for boss stages like the gear quests in Array. You have Doris and Queena as 2 tanks so I feel like Patch is a bit overkill but if it works for you cool. I would swap for a Fighter type (Swords) for close-combat to kill enemies while your tanks take the hits or Hunter (Bow) for long-range damage.
That's just me though. Maybe someone else could give you pointers too.
Oh, Peru saved me a whole lot in the survey zones but she's starting to plateau especially with assassins in the field. Doris kinda fricks up Peru and Doranana that sometimes I had to swap her out for Amber or something.
I'll try to bring X up to speed now that I have eight lvl 50s to tide me over. Like I said, Doris kinda screws up the targeting for Peru and Doranana so I wanted to figure out alternatives.

this team has gotten me quite far and very rarely have i had to change girls out.
Doranana: is a mage tank, once lulu comes out you have another character on the board that has tunt. plus she's easy to get to 5 stars.
Queena: does well to take in taking damage and send it back with her passive, she survives well with her ult and debuffs.
becky: is more of a dps mage once she gets her clones out, while the clones die quick and do little damage, they are free hits and stay alive when becky dies unlike lulu.
peru: big aoe damage israelite fox. nothing more needs to be said.
fai: good aoe range damage and with my build she's the main damage dealers and gets the flame buff so she can tank a fair bit too.
Clara: i struggled between her a moon, but in the end the armor pen just helped out so much more in the later lvls. big damage and most attacks have 20-30% armor pen.
Millie: is a hidden gem, her ability to jump to lowest hp, make them bleed for 20% of her atk and then goes into a frenzy on said person kills
Amber: i need another assassin and fire and she just fit both slots. she's the weak link to my group, but she does hold her weight sometimes.

i'm stuck at in the chaos dungeon at lvl 36 i think, where you have to fight 5 lvl 80 fighters. i have 8 lvl 70's and i can't even kill one.
most of the other roadblocks i have to had to wait a day to lvl my girls but now not only can't i re-roll my girls stats cause you need a rare and expensive item once they lvl 61 or higher, but now i have to wait probs 2-3 days just to get once of my girls to lvl 80 since they had out so little of those blue lvl cubes.
unless this upcoming update reduces their over power, i am stuck and this alone is very bad game design. then again it's a gatcha so it'll do its best to try and scum money out of you.

You guys better start saving those coin cards. This is the real bottleneck later on (unless you raise more than 8 leapers beyond Lv100). Also check the forum in Settings for daily codes.
The big problem with this game is not being able to build teams for different situations. This happens because the game difficulty blocks you way too early and ensures all future resources go towards strengthening your main leapers.
Yet the game clearly expects you to have leveled up shitters for Neutron Star, Odyssey and Atomic Tower.

I'm around 170k power and haven't felt like the game expects anything more than one built team out of me so far, backups are a luxury i know not to expect yet

If you only want to raise one low rarity assassin, I recommend Millie over Amber, because Amber has some rng in her skills, while Millie is a more straightforward character who targets the weakest enemy and can also inflict DoT.
As for fighters, Sariel is good, especially because of how the chaos element works, but I also recommend Lucinda for her crowd control ability (her Ultra Skill taunts ALL enemies and also briefly stuns them if they are near enough). Lucinda also benefits other fighters by increasing their energy at the start of fights.

You can't Phase until you hit max Stage (5 stars), so Stage your units 50 Genes at a time
At the very least 4 star your 3 stars the stat boost will carry you pretty far into the game
Well I ask about phase specifically because it uses gene slides in addition to shards. I got a bunch of slides right now, but I know the honeymoon phase will slow down all resources eventually and don't want to overcommit.
shards are shards either way regardless of if you spend them on star rank or phase upgrades
i think as long as they're 3* base and until the shards cost 8 slides each, it's a good investment
then the rest can come from journey or lucky spooks i suppose

just reroll, the game itself knows people will reroll for their waifu which is why they have a "switch accounts" button in the settings
just keep track of what's on what account if you don't get her on the first try, although personally I think you only need one account to get a majority if not all of them outright. obviously your luck might be different though

chaos can count as the fifth slot for a different single element
order can take mixed leftover elements and turn them into a 3 or 5 order resonance
but yeah the end effects are all the same, class resonance is the one that varies a lot

Kind of funny for a game to have max rarirty units easier to build than lower rarity. Hopefully the game keeps hitting us with free budget units.
Lower rarity in this case are the 2 stars that fill in the gaps of 3 stars because of their mid power levels. 1 stars are unfortunately filler for the most part unless you're missing a Leaper to avoid Atomic Tower's elemental penalty. Only one for me in that case is dragging Scarlett around in the Stone Tower since I don't have Guru.
The way I see it you do pulls hoping for 3 stars while collecting genes passively for 1 star dupes and then Stage up once you hit 50. I haven't seen the stats for a Stage 5 1 star but who knows maybe it is just as competitive as a low end 3 star?
Only thing you can't really use 1 stars for is PVP anyway.
2stars feel like a pain to star up as well. After like 250 pulls I have managed to star up a single 2star once.
If you've done 250 pulls use your gene slides to buy specific genes then you get an average of like 20 per 10 pull depending on how many 4 stars you get

That 3% is spread across the entire collective pool of 3 stars. Half of it is the rate-up operators, so it's 1.5% split across every 3 star that isn't Queena or Fai. And Peru's unrollable until you buy something.

I have seen this exact type of game mode in several other mobile games already:

The lite roguelite mode where you get to choose from 3 cards after every battle is a template from somewhere since I've seen it least 3 times now. It's tedious, boring, and really fricking annoying due to the level scaling. When you have to do a run every other day, it wears thin very fast from my experience with other games that had this exact sort of mode.
All that is not even counting trying to push through more permanent content like Campaign, Tower, and Odyssey which is the most recent thing I've unlocked. Like why does this game have two roguelite modes.
This game really needs to learn to streamline the daily experience because it's annoyingly time consuming. It needs a lot more macro auto and skip features as they've become sort of mandatory with the larger mobile games.

Jeeeeze, this one is moronic.
All of the final cave floors are aweful. The third cave it went from like 50k enemy teams to suddenly an 80k final floor. The 4th cave was a faceroll the entire way and then a 110k team at the last floor.
The third cave was actually harder then the 4th because there was just white equipment and weapon upgrades were still locked . Most team members were at 40 when you reach it with several unevolved 2*. The final floors had no environmental tricks or tactics to use, it was just a raw DPS check. You need dupes to make 4* units or limit break the whole team to 50 to clear it, but there is not enough limit break material available yet this early. If RNG didnt give you some 4* At this point you hit the wall hard as people in the thread mention.
The 4th cave final battle was way easier because your whole team now has access to green and blue equipment and weapon upgrades, and new sources of limit break material to gather to get a few characters to 60.
I expect difficulty walls in idle-style games, but I blew through most of the underwater cave and then bumped into this shitslapper. The assassin heavy maps can be brutal, on top of it being the final floor.
I managed to get their health down to like 1/3, and I just realized I can upgrade my characters to level 70, so I am just waiting.
The unstable X just completely fricks my shit up. I havent figured out a better counter strat to assassins other than just park a tank on them.
What causes the bounty mission for gacha pull mission to spawn? Is it time based?

Basically you see those little treasure chests on the bottom? They're milestone rewards for completing a certain number of bounty missions and the reward is that 2 hour bounty for a particle pill.
So just keep doing bounties every day to get them. The diamond cube missions replenish every reset though so there's no limit on those.

it's a dumb floor, but getting your gear to lvl 15, highest lvl characters you can get with 4 stars min should beat them.
I broke the bank just getting one character to 80 and I don't even have my whole team at 70 yet. Guess this is where I'm stuck for now.
Here's how I did it. Was definitely a b***h of a fight. Girls had all +15 green/blue gear and +8 personal (israelite fox +13). Had to attempt this several times due to Vitty's RNG, but afterwards, this team carried me through the next survey. I hit another major roadblock at Sky Platform 40.
Jesus frick this fight. I lose like a third of my team's total health in the first two seconds. I tried a set up similar to yours and it changed nothing. At least I have the chance to push my team to 80 now, so I have something to work on.
Do you have Vitty though? With good RNG she makes all enemies attack each other instead of you. Then often once more, two seconds later. "A tier"? Such ignorance. She is SS.

having clara and x was actually a clutch strat for a lot of my game. its all in positioning so they can team up on one unit and not get swarmed by the backline

You have to have done that event at least once with that character. It saves your best result on that event to use as the quick journey. Really useful if you get an event your character doesnt like, but you got a good result on one time.

Id stick with your top 8 and pull the resources out of the others. The only change I would consider is dropping the assassin for Lat.
Your top 8 look good to me, they've carried me all the way to sky platform floor 40 where I'm 30k power below the 313k boss. Kinda crazy how high the gap is but I just need more purple gear to replace my blues. Latika is good but Fai is better because of her extra stage (4 stars vs 3 stars is a big difference in power).
Yeah you could swap Clara for Latika since her and Fai could give you a double hunter type bonus but I like Clara's ability to hit the weak enemy units hiding in the back since she's an assassain.

I dunno, every day I get over another hurdle. I've played some idle games that are happy to wall you off for days at a time and gate your progress entirely on how many times you promote (gacha dupe) your units.

It's the same for me too. Whenever I get stuck on a level I just keep retrying while changing up my formation and that's worked well so far. Just this morning I beat a level I was stuck on yesterday on the first try. I'm kinda stuck on Sky Platform level 40 at the moment, but I think I just need to improve my characters gear and levels to get over it.
Is there any point to reduction besides just getting back materials you used?
I'm out of decompilation stuff and this is what I'm stuck with. At least Doranana is Phase 2 now but Fai is a disappointment

I dont know when I am supposed to be working on all these side characters. Progression feels very locked to having a built up A-team. I guess you can build a character's unique to 8 and give them old tiers of equipment to inflate their states so they aren't complete dead weight.

The character gear can actually make up for the lack of levelling somewhat which is pretty genius

i have 13 right now and i think i had 12 all yesterday since i've been saving them, but maybe i didn't get any more today? aside from 1 from a mission
You get 5 each day, but there is a soft cap of 10, you can go over with the quests don't get the daily 5, so its always worth to use down to 5
I also wasted tickets cause of this, it really has no reason to cap at 10

It's a literal coom game, the mechanics aren't that hard.
The obvious idea for most players would be to get as far in the enclosed area as you can before the event end to then maximise red ticket gain. Its fine if you didn't think like this, but you can surely agree that there's no good reason for a 10 softcap on the tickets
I do agree their event details do need work (especially since they use fricking FACEBOOK of all things in 2022 for their event layout, but it is fricking hilarious)

You guys really weren't lying about Vitty.
In a game with stamina, Vitty would be garbage and too unreliable to use. With no stamina and the ability to just run fights endlessly to get the right rng, shes pretty nice.

On that note, it's rather expensive to run gears to +25, I should probably wait for the higher tiers.
I wouldnt do it before purple gear, but I will point out that if you consume your old upgraded gear, you get a pretty large percent of the gear exp back, so it isnt a complete waste of gear exp, but your leaper coins will suffer.
They give you quite an abundance of it early on though. I'm still sitting at 5M while my EXP is already down to 1M.
Yes, but when you use leaper coins, you use a lot. Higher levels of unique gear start to get expensive. from 13 to 14 is 380k. Every move starts to take a chunk of leaper coins. I blew 5M coins yesterday just improving my Peru and Leo gear / uniques and taking Dora from 70 to 80.
You can go all out on yellow gear. Red gear drops are very rare.
Is there a faster way to upgrade gears than repeatedly tapping the material? Jesus, I don't want to ruin my forearm.

I am genuinely curious about this. The gene store shows a limit of 10 for sale per girl, which is a fraction of what you need even for 4* let alone the 150 needed to 5*. When does it reset? It seems like way too little to matter.
When you buy them out, it resets and gets more expensive with each reset.
