NA exclusive character that became too good in content that got ported from the KR version.
jett was originally a 99% copy paste of another class (pirate gunner) with reskinned animations
Jett was a carbon copy of Zen which was TMS and later MSEA content, which was removed last year.
Probably because they don’t want to deal with it anymore. That class always has something wrong with it and isn’t particularly strong either. Past changes also seem to imply Nexon is trying to make GMS fall in line with KMS which doesn’t bode well for the last vestiges of GMS-related content.

Surely between the equipment, the equipment potential, the equipment flames, the inner ability, the trinodes and whatnot, something is going to go terribly wrong during the transfers

Jett was a weird and silly idea but I wonder what's prompting them to outright remove the class.
Jett is an especially buggy non-KMS class and the devs have given up on balancing it and bugfixing it for the newest content

The point of character classes were that they had abilities specific to them, and that they had actual stories to them.
