Spider-Man will attack MJ, under the Symbiote's influence. Miles will defeat Spidey and separate the Symbiote from its host, using his sonic blast, with the help of MJ. Peter will feel guilty and give up being Spider-Man, and pass the title down to Miles. Post credits is Miles meeting Gwen (who has her Spiderverse powers), game 3 will have him and Gwen as the protagonists. Screencap this.

If you want to talk predictions, I'd say Spidey flies off the handle pushing away Miles from trying to stop him killing Kraven, because of that nobody can help when Kraven hits him, symbiote detaches and as Kraven lunges towards Peter to finish the job latches onto him turning him into Venom as they already confirmed Eddie isn't Venom here. But of course we both know the real reason you made this post and it wasn't a plot prediction

They said that most of the side missions can be played by either character, but some will be specific. Kinda interested in seeing how Peter would interact with Prowler though.
Is it possible there are more missions not listed? I don't remember if more unlocked later as the first game progressed. This could be specific to a certain point in time, and we're not seeing everything yet.

Nah, Aaron's on Peter and Miles' side now so I don't see why he'd be testing both of them after Miles alone beat him. If anything those could potentially be something like Predator missions from Batman.
Aaron Davis Prowler has a skewed sense of morality and can't ever go straight. He may even attack Peter simply based on "You need to tell my nephew he doesn't need to be Spider-Man anymore"

Anyways, predictions are Peter will go crazy with the symbiote and isolate himself, Miles will free him with his venom blasts, the symbiote will go to Harry who needs it again, Peter will try to convince Harry not to use it which will drive a rift between them to set up Venom, and Harry will die at the end which will give Norman reason to become Goblin and go after Peter in SM3
Also Kraven will off himself somehow, Wraith will surrender after Peter talks her down, and Miles will make peace with Martin Lee and send him back to prison
And there will be a cameo for Insomniac universe Gwen somewhere

The Miles game is fun with his combat, and the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man app is a neat feature (being brought back in 2) that lets you replay random crimes/story missions instantly. The story is passable, but you really start to get annoyed at Phin for being a bullheaded b***h. We get it, ROXXON is bad, they killed your brother, and you want revenge. However don't fricking pull the "You lied to me" card on Miles when you two lie for completely different reasons. You just come off like an idiot when the reactor plan goes to shit after someone tried to tell you a dozen times why it was a bad idea
It's mostly okay nothing special, just Phin is the worst part.
Miles as a game is a massive improvement on the first game, the main story is the only issue because Phin acts unreasonable all game and gets emotionally distressed when she herself is basically doing the same things Miles is doing and arguable far worse. It just leads to you being frustrated at her being moronic and refusing to listen to reason.
But he personally likes Peter (Well, Spider-Man) and trusts him which is why he even bothered to use the FNSA. The entire point of the last third of Miles was Aaron realizing Miles was right, how he hurt his brother, Rio, and Miles with his actions, how he wants to turn over a new leaf after turning himself in, and how he wants to be like Miles. His "warped sense of morality" factored into working with Roxxon again to help keep Miles out of trouble, not what came after. That was entirely him making a choice.

It really hits it's peak after the Rhino fight. She gets mad that Miles didn't tell her that he was Spider-Man, despite having good reason to. But when he goes and tells her that the reactor is changed, suddenly it's "REEEE YOU'RE LYINGGGGG" until she sees the reactor fricking up, It's so bad.
They absolutely made Miles' game just because Sony wanted one and Insomniac had some new gameplay features to test out even if they had absolutely no idea for the story
It was very clearly "we want to get more familiar with the PS5 hardware, so let's make a small scale asset flip game to do that"
Insomniac really knows how to work within the industry and make fans happy. Miles Morales was their perfect beta test game in prep for the fully fledged sequel. The Miles combat, the swinging tricks being regulated to the square button, and of course the new FNSM app.
I applaud Insomniac for also finding a good compromise to DLC skins to make everyone happy. Comic skins are free in-game, and outsourced original suits are DLC that SONY can milk.
They also have a b-group for smaller games like Miles Morales, might as well have them make that game while the main group did Ratchet and Clank

To be fair you're paying for story DLC/side missions WITH the addition of free skins. At least that's how see it. And besides, they were still churning out free skins even after the DLC was done in the first game. There were the F4 related skins, the movie suits, etc. All free. FF7 Rebirth will probably be a year. Spider-Man 2 will definitely be 2 years if the trend of Insomniac games are anything to go by. Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales were 2020 on PS5 and then 2022 on PC. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was 2021 on PS5 and then 2023 on PC. So, it makes sense.

Actually the scene they briefly show implies Miles confronts MARTIN, not Mister Negative. There's an actual personality split between the two. Given the prison bum sad face energy he's giving off, I think it's one of those "hero backs out on killing the repentant bad guy" things.

Kraven is the "Mister Negative" of the game, Venom is still the "Octavius". The only secret is who Venom is, which I call Harry being a red herring. They're not rushing Green Goblin for this, he'll get 3 all to himself

Would you say his relationship or ties to Punisher are as relevant (for lack of a better word) as his pairings with DD? I know Punisher first appeared in ASM 129 and they’ve interacted quite a bit since, but I’m general who would you say Spidey interacts with more? I’m willing to bet DD but o figured you might know so I’m asking while I’m here.
Spidey rarely interacts with Punisher. Frank is sort of a weird black sheep over at Marvel where he mostly is self-contained, and when he does cross over he's usually seen as a secondary antagonist/wild card no hero wants to deal with. He's a broken man on a never ending suicide mission.
Peter does however have a friendship with Wolverine though, who's equally bloody given his history. There's a great issue where Logan asks Peter to come with him in the middle of the night, won't tell him why, they end up at a bar, and then it's revealed it's Logan's birthday and he wanted to spend it with Spidey. Of course Peter doesn't find out until AFTER some drunk tries to blow Wolverine's head off with a shotgun, and Spidey had to talk Logan down.
That's why Wolverine likes Spidey, because he thinks he can be something other than a killer. The X-Men kinda just accept Wolverine as is, rather than see what he can be.
