Hell, I'd even put up with "we need 1 month that's kinda sorta for console tard exclusivity to get them to stop crying, but really its to make sure all the enhanced tech and features capable on PC are working as they should", but not some 6+ month delay.
How close is it to being done? Even if the game is meh , it will undoubtedly be the best version of the game. Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales were decent enough and even before mods, were way better on PC. Just out of principle, being released on PC (via Steam and other stores as desired, but no EGS style exclusivity contracts) should be the case for every game.

Microsoft figured out years ago that people who would never buy an Xbox console may buy an Xbox360 gamepad to use on PC and now they get frickloads more sales they'd never otherwise pick up. Sony's games for better or worse sell reasonably well on Steam for PC and a frickload of those are people who would never buy a console. Contemporaneous releases mean the best chance at people buying sooner and for newer release prices plus getting the benefit of waiting for discounts.

I'm convinced that Sony and or From completely nuked anything related to Bloodborne from their servers, I cannot think of any other reason why that isn't the case when Naughty Dog, Insomniac, and some other Sony studio has been hacked over the years, but nothing related to Bloodborne ever got leaked.

Usually support is ignored until there is an issue. Most times companies are focused on short term and don't like to consider planning ahead for issues because it's not easy to know if it will be useful.

The problem is the leak doesn't contain assets for SM2, and you can't decrypt current FW PS5 games so there's no way to get the assets.

If you're going to get very technical than Nintendo actually makes very few games in house. They are quite often outsourcing their IPs.
i.e. Grezzo for Link's Awakening Remake, Good-Feel for Kirby's Epic Yarn, Mercury Stream for Metroid Dread, etc

Even if you could decrypt the PS5 assets, there is no guarantee they would even be compatible with PC. Shaders for example are entirely different. It would be a significant reverse engineering effort to make that work, comparable to making a PS5 emulator.

Same thing with Forbidden West which releases in April or something. And still nothing about GoW Ragnarok but everyone knows it's coming. My theory on Bloodborne and DeS 2020 not getting PC releases is that they don't want to support the multiplayer (PC especially requires more work to prevent hacking and cheating which is an annoying time/financial investment) and they're worried about backlash if they decide to release it SP only.
That very well could be the tie up with Ghost of Tsushima as well. It's one thing to port a single player game, but it's another to port something that has multiplayer like Legends mode in Tsushima and would require some server infrastructure and anti-cheat.

Well gee, you know one way they could have avoided this shit? With a contemporaneous release on PC as well as PS5, knowing that some people would prefer one or the other. Hell, I'd even put up with "we need 1 month that's kinda sorta for console tard exclusivity to get them to stop crying, but really its to make sure all the enhanced tech and features capable on PC are working as they should", but not some 6+ month delay.
How close is it to being done? Even if the game is meh , it will undoubtedly be the best version of the game. Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales were decent enough and even before mods, were way better on PC. Just out of principle, being released on PC (via Steam and other stores as desired, but no EGS style exclusivity contracts) should be the case for every game.

Microsoft figured out years ago that people who would never buy an Xbox console may buy an Xbox360 gamepad to use on PC and now they get frickloads more sales they'd never otherwise pick up. Sony's games for better or worse sell reasonably well on Steam for PC and a frickload of those are people who would never buy a console. Contemporaneous releases mean the best chance at people buying sooner and for newer release prices plus getting the benefit of waiting for discounts.
6 months is far too long. 1 or no more than 3 I'd agree to a compromise if they stuck to it (and priced the games and content reasonably, included all DLC released by that time etc. Conceptually console exclusives by contract are a fricking plague though so I'd rather see them all die in a fricking fire, but one step at a time if we're making progress.
Tsushima only cost 50 million and sold a ton, they only port to PC games that cost a lot and are desperate to make their investment back

That's how they've operated for a while. Thing is, it's still faster than usual. The PC version of the original Spidey game came out a full 2 years later. Same thing with Forbidden West which releases in April or something. And still nothing about GoW Ragnarok but everyone knows it's coming. Still, I gotta admit I don't understand their strategy at all. Bloodborne sold a whopping 7,5 million copies on PS4 and they haven't ported it to PC to this day. The Demons Souls Remake and Ghost of Tsushima are also still exclusive even though they'd sell like hotcakes. But I guess it's a good sign still that it's 1-1,5 years now instead of 2.

What can be done to break them of this moronation? The excuse that they didn't know if there was a market, or the ease of porting or whatever at least had SOME credibility back in the PS4 era, but now there's just zero. Them dicking around for 2 fricking years makes no bloody sense. Hell, Ghost of Tsushima is 3+ years late so even by their own stupid they could have had it released already; even if you go by the Director's Cut in 2021 instead of the original 2020, the DC should have been on PC no later than August 2023. Regardless, its all a hot fricking mess.
My guess with Bloodborne is that there is probably some tie up with From and the now defunct Japan Studio. From may even be telling Sony to go take a hike because of what Sony did to Japan Studio. Ghost was estimated to have a budget of 50 million, and sold beyond whatever expectations Sony had so they're not in a rush to port it because it already made its budget and more back. They're probably saving Ghost's port as a tie in for the marketing campaign for the likely sequel.
it's insane to think Spiderman 2 had a budget of 300 million and looks and plays worse than Ghost and is a smaller game and a shorter game. It's really insane. Doesn't make any sense to me at all
My theory on Bloodborne and DeS 2020 not getting PC releases is that they don't want to support the multiplayer (PC especially requires more work to prevent hacking and cheating which is an annoying time/financial investment) and they're worried about backlash if they decide to release it SP only.
That very well could be the tie up with Ghost of Tsushima as well. It's one thing to port a single player game, but it's another to port something that has multiplayer like Legends mode in Tsushima and would require some server infrastructure and anti-cheat.
I imagine it'll be early 2024 if these pirate fricks can actually manage to get it running.
