I get that they want spinda to be a unique, gimmicky shitmon, but it just seems like a waste of time to go through all of the trouble of implementing a system that allows individual pokemon visually distinct only to limit it to a single species
It's easy to program radom spots. Do you want every pokemon to have random patches of color?
NTA but unironically yes. Size variation is the first step in making each pokemon truely feel unique, but imagine if certain parts of a pokemon's texture were pseudo-randomly generated to make each one truely uniqe. Obviously not just slapping random spots on a pokemon, but details that would make sense: the dark patches on Bulbasaur being in different places, Onix having small variations in the shape of its rocks, Milotic having different scale patterns, all just tiny details that would serve to make each pokemon a little bit more unique.
All of them, but depending on the generation you're hunting in, some patterns are effectively shiny locked and will either always be shiny or never be shiny due to how the patterns are generated being the same way that shinies are decided.

It'd be nice to have some variety in SOME Pokemon that didn't require asinine grinding and just occurred naturally and randomly. Maybe a few special Pokemon are in certain locations, but it'd feel a lot more personal if the tree on your Torterra's back was slightly different from your friend's Torterra.
I would like for them to do one day a Pokémon with dozens of cosmetic variations that also matter mechanically.
They sort of did it with Unown with how DVs both impacted their form and hidden power's type, but that got lost when they switched to EVs anyway.

Her design evokes some sort of low-cut dress or shirt with stockings, and the way she stumbles around with that blank, dizzy expression is particularly enticing.
