A lot of the matches were actually pretty close. It was only Tower Control that we got stomped. Numbers don't tell the whole story. They outplayed us overall though definitely. We had our moments
Bad roster distribution.
We did what we could but some of our better players dropped out/went missing. Half the team was pretty late to even join. We finalized team lineups literally the night before. We didn't have a whole lot to work with and it was more about letting people participate rather than trying to make some super team. Even our scrims with Timmy's team were less "the best" and just more who was willing at the time. Hopefully next time we can get some of more of you guys on board and do it bigger, better. For our first tango, given everything I felt we did alright, not to make excuses or anything.
It wasn't bad. Don't let that Anon demoralize you. We played well for how disorganized we were. It was our first time. Next time we will be better. They barely won most games. We did fine.
Nah i'm not demoralized, I'm very content with it honestly. Just more so explaining that we had some unforeseen setbacks, not to mention most of us had only played together for a week or two, whereas /ink/ seems to be much more closely knit than our ranked players who tend to stick in solo queue. Hopefully we can get some more open rooms going regularly and get more into the swing of things.

Make your own room again too and ask in the thread if someone wants in, or wait until a spot opens. Not hard with a minimum of effort and social skills.

Quick tip, the Sploosh is really strong. It's one of the highest dps weapons in SR. You can almost walk full speed into a crowd of lessers and they can't hit you before they die. If you have it during coho, you gotta be shredding him to death and try to survive.

I am in evp and die a ton. I don't host rooms often but I occasionally join them. And it's never been a problem because people just keep pressing continue for a million rounds anyway. Frankly I can accept im just not super amazing at the mode but part of it is just going through the loop and improving. Not gonna get as good as I want to be without trying.

That's a good mindset. Playing with the same players, especially if they're better than you and not leaving after one loss will make you improve quickly. Just by reading these threads you can learn some good tips.

It's crazy because I really enjoy our pool and the people in it. The people from our pool that played in the tourney today are great too and I've definitely enjoyed great salmon run rotations with several of them. I can say a lot of positive things about people in our pool. But it just seems that the nature of this site attracts some lonely little chuddy who wants to inflict misery on everyone he has an issue with. and I'm sure most of the people whos name gets mentioned never did a single thing wrong in the first place. Hell even I participated in this to some degree by arguing with fangfox one day and I ended up playing with him in anarchy open and realized he's really good, probably better than me. Made me sick of the negativity and I just feel tired of others spreading it. We can have our pool without drama it just means certain posters here need to get a life

How hard is it to NOT rush the shore?? Idk just a thought. Like literally DO NOT rush shore. Ever. Stay at middle until shore bosses show up, then you can go to shore (shore bosses are stingers, fly fish, drizzlers sometimes, aka any boss that stays at the shore). What you're doing is standing at shore. You see a, for example a scrapper, and immediately kill it. At the same time you're surrounded by salmonoids and power eggs. You keep spamming "this way"! While the rest of your 3 teamates are struggling cus they are missing a player. You keep dying while your team struggles to revive you constantly. Instead of doing the reasonable thing and leaving behind the 4 power eggs that you don't even have the capability to throw, you stay at your position. You could care less that you're the only player left and you keep on getting hit immediately until you die a second later.
What happened in the end? All of your teamates died, no quota, and now you whine about being demoted, because your team was "so bad" and "I was carrying the whole timeughh!!!" You think you'd learn by then, but, no. You don't. And you never do. On top of that you never use your special!! You have booyah bomb, or inkstike. What do you do when there's so many bosses it's lagging and all of us are dying?? You die yourself, you don't even attempt to use your special. Doesn't matter if it's the last round or not, if you know for sure you're gonna die, just use your special. There's tutorials on yt if you don't know how to use your special properly. If you do these VERY annoying things, don't get offended. Just stop doing these. Everyone hates when you do this and we hate losing the round cus of you.
