Admittedly, it's hard to say. We're getting Side Order and a New Season right next to each other.
What rewards will Side Order give? Did the Devs spend most of their time on Side Order instead of the Season? Will people still be playing the DLC when the Season starts since apparently it's a Rogue-like?
There's a lot of questions and we don't know what this Team has done until everything launches.

All in all it will be a pretty big update without any new modes beyond Side Order of course, even though that's technically coming about a week before the new season begins.

Cuz I don't have internet issues. Fully wired, 99% of matches go well. Every now and then when we're about to win in a ranked match its a dc. Uncommon and rare enough for Nintendo to never fix, but its a clear pattern.
I also don't get the timeout warning or any message saying its my fault
When I go back into the lobby I don't get the "Maps & Modes" noti which would indicate that my switch *actually* went offline at some point.
Always just a mood killer when I'm going on a great streak and some salty dc'er just ruins a match at the last second

It's difficult to say, but there's been strong evidence that the latest fresh season will be the Splatoon 2 update like the first was the Splatoon 1 update. In any case, I just want more info. For frick's sake, GIVE US more information! We are literally 2 weeks and a half away from Side Order, only a little more than that away from the newest season, and we know basically nothing! This is beyond fricking ludicrous, it damn near feels like a spit in the face. Given the previous two winter directs, I'm expecting a Direct either this week or next, and there ought to be Side Order info there. But expectations were made to be shattered, so I won't be surprise if nothing pops up. This is seriously so goddamn tiring. I still don't recall if it was like this for Octo Expansion, though someone did at least say something to me last time I mentioned that. But I forgot.
At least just let me know if we're getting new amiibo so I can put aside the 20 bucks or whatever for another Agent 8. I want my baby girl, man.

So did you just not play any of Splatoon 3 for the past year and a half? I'm one of the most forgiving people on Ganker and I still am firmly in the consensus that they screwed up a lot with 3. Not to the point of ruining the game, but there's a lot of missed potential and they only recently just started fixing shit. Only an idiot would blindly be optimistic about Side Order with that knowledge.

Wow, the game extended the timer by like a second or two to give us that win. And we got 4 silvers, so I ain't complaining. Good games, guys, or at least decent games. I personally was somewhat miserable, dunno what my deal was. Maybe it's the cold. Still, profit is profit.

We fought 2 joes and were really struggling there. While I like all the weapons on their own, it didn't feel too synergistic. I could get corned with literally any of the 4, and it was difficult for the others to cover me.
I just tried to fight Joe with some Freelancers and oh me oh my, did it not go great.
It's too late in the night for it to happen here, but I hope we get more Game Modes in Salmon Run that mix up the usual Egg Collecting.

Hardly anyone does. We have a vague idea of shooting fish bones and that you'll be able to customize yourself to a degree, but other than that we're still almost entirely in the dark. The fact some people trying to spin that as a good thing is weird.
Nintendo sure is ballsy to release so little information about this as we're so close to its release, yet the DLC has been available for purchase for what, at least a year now? They know people will buy it regardless, frickin'eh
I went back to check about Octo Expansion. It only got the two trailers, but there was literally only a roughly 3-month span in which we knew it even existed. Debut trailer was March 2018, came out in June. That is much more understandable. We're coming up on knowing that Side Order exists for a whole fricking year and still have close to nothing. What was even the point of announcing it?

People like Prohomosexual get the idea that shit weapons don’t deserve buffs if they get a tryhard kit.
Splattershot Nova is the absolute worst weapon in the game. But it got Inkjet, so no one no longer wants it to ever get buffed anymore.
Vanilla Brella fills a great niche in Tower Control, but the Splatoon Pro Community is “Splat Zones Only”, so they only want special points reduction in Sorella and nothing else.
If the devs make Dynamo nuke the entire map with one button press. Dynamo gays would still whine for more buffs.

- Use your shield to extend the score boosting.
- Use your shield to push off people, including vacuum users.
- Hold your shield to prevent people from climbing up.
Sprinkler:
- Place Sprinkler in the pointy side of the pole.
- Special charges without having to use ink.
- Place above enemy checkpoints off bounds to have them pressured/distracted for a flanking.
Inkstrike:
- Use in checkpoints to keep the tower free.
- Scare off snipers.
- GG Overtime.
Tower Control might be the only game mode where Sprinkler isn’t a total ass.
Sprinkler also keeps the tower’s surroundings free of enemy ink, so you are able to hop off anytime to recharge behind the tower.
I assure you chargers always aim at the sprinkler first, so it works as a decoy to let you know when to pop your shield.
