I haven't tried it myself but you should see if it works that way now. Most of the other multiplayer modes allow you to set off with randoms if you don't have a full group
I guess you have to do it while queuing for an Eggstra work job? Everything I've read says you have a better chance if you pick it beforehand. If they overlooked that when solo queuing it'd be rather sad.

but if Big Run's big jump in gold range due to far less players playing, it shot up a pretty large amount, like 15 eggs.
Now there is the freelancer option now which should bring in some players, but overall Eggstra work was far less popular than big run and I don't doubt this one will have less players, increasing the average a bit. 220 sounds reasonable. We can definitely optimize things a bit, gonna try again later. Now that everyone's got the first day down and kind of understands the ropes tonight we should be able to get some good scores

Splat is one of the more unwieldy weapons, but has one of the most important roles in this eggstra work so it's not something you want to give to randos.
I managed to get 184 eggs as my highest so far, but could've been greatly improved if they actually had an ounce of sense and pay attention to whats going on
Most of them are shit, but you might get put in with a good team looking for a 4th player as well. Saw one anon get 220+ with randos, but that's probably pretty unlikely. I've had some randos not even survive wave 3.

There's a notable lack of immediate DPS there.
Jet is good and can play on the tower well, S-Blast is a really strong blaster, Reeflux is good but unwieldy, roller is pretty mid.
Wut he shouldnt even have a crab tank after wave 2 so you're either a moron for expecting it to be used beyond that or such a terrible player that you couldn't beat mothership wave 2 at low quota even with timmies. Regardless it only worthwhile to get mad if you're having a good first 3 waves then blow it on 4 or 5. You will know by the first 5 seconds of wave 3 if your team is competent enough to continue and if not you should just this way into the ocean
The final percentages are not an average. It's literally the top highest scores from 5% of everyone who played. You want the score to go down? You need to get more people to play Eggstra Work. The number of players, like in Big Run, influence the top percentages.

I just don't see it as necessary to curtail the hazard rating. Generally trying to get morons to try and lure is good, but if they're just going to try and restart over a slight bump in hazard it get's rather frustrating.
A bad mothership wave? Ok sure I understand, but with a higher hazard I think it's still worth the attempt.

We're doing good, wave 3 and 4 we need improvement on though. We want 270 hazard for the nice big shot cannon which means we need double quota on at least one of those waves, ideally wave 3. We were close last time, only 5 eggs off actually. Need 52 for that one.
Also with cannon wave you gotta make up your mind splatling. Sorry I got us killed there by diving early. Reefsliders on wave 4 to clear the cohocks. Inkstrikes for wave 5. wave breaker on wave 3 in final 20 seconds go go go.

It starts at 60% hazard. reaching 150% egg quota gives you 30%+ haz. reaching 200% quota gives you 60%+ haz.

I keep trying to hold things down with that one cannon on the left but I get overwhelmed way or another. I needed more cannon support from heavy splatling. I actually think our wave 4 was quite good, 40-50 is considered well done for that wave. It's the Wave 3 and 5 we needed to work on which are arguably the harder ones
Yea, especially wave 5. If we can get 270% we could get a nice spike in our egg count but things get real fricked at the latter half of 4. If we get there more consistently we can learn it and certainly do it too.

To get 270 we only need double quota on waves 1-3. We can get 1.5 quota on wave 4, that gives us 270. If we somehow got double on wave 4 we would get max for eggstra at 300 for wave 5.
Really it's wave 3 that we NEED 52 eggs. Wave 4, 40-50 eggs at 1.5 will get you 270, that's just fine

we need double on wave 3 because 52 is more doable than double on wave 4, which is like 58 or some shit. Very hard to pull off. We gotta get over 52 on wave 3, that's why we need that wavebreaker. Also splatling should hang right side and also be killing slammin lids by shooting them. We gotta do our best to lure close to the basket as possible, but that last 20 second wavebreaker will give us the leeway we need to clear eggs.

Brella needs to be saving its ink strikes for wave 5. I'm trying to kill the stingers at splatlings to the right and I could use brella's help killing the trash blocking the way. At the right hazard there'd be a cannon on the right but you want to use the first ink strike to clear bosses
Brella should use a second ink strike on the flyfish that spawns left side of the map and what ever else is around the basket. We just gotta keep the basket area clean. But we're not hitting the right hazard level on wave 3 to get the good cannon that would spawn on the right.

THERE's a flyfish you should be using your inkstrikes on in wave 5 that spawns on the left side.
Then I need someone to deal with the stingers on the right because I've had to use my inkstrikes on those guys just to survive.
You got two inkstrikes, use the first batch for the right side
then later on in the wave you can go for the left side and hit the fly fish and a few of those slammin lids or whatever's up top.

I actually think our wave 4 was quite good, 40-50 is considered well done for that wave. It's the Wave 3 and 5 we needed to work on which are arguably the harder ones
Yea, especially wave 5. If we can get 270% we could get a nice spike in our egg count but things get real fricked at the latter half of 4. If we get there more consistently we can learn it and certainly do it too.

To get 270 we only need double quota on waves 1-3. We can get 1.5 quota on wave 4, that gives us 270. If we somehow got double on wave 4 we would get max for eggstra at 300 for wave 5.
Really it's wave 3 that we NEED 52 eggs. Wave 4, 40-50 eggs at 1.5 will get you 270, that's just fine
and to illustrate it
we need double on wave 3 because 52 is more doable than double on wave 4, which is like 58 or some shit. Very hard to pull off. We gotta get over 52 on wave 3, that's why we need that wavebreaker. Also splatling should hang right side and also be killing slammin lids by shooting them. We gotta do our best to lure close to the basket as possible, but that last 20 second wavebreaker will give us the leeway we need to clear eggs.

Brella needs to be saving its ink strikes for wave 5. I'm trying to kill the stingers at splatlings to the right and I could use brella's help killing the trash blocking the way. At the right hazard there'd be a cannon on the right but you want to use the first ink strike to clear bosses
Brella should use a second ink strike on the flyfish that spawns left side of the map and what ever else is around the basket. We just gotta keep the basket area clean. But we're not hitting the right hazard level on wave 3 to get the good cannon that would spawn on the right.
