The only reason you keep coming back to this game is because you've fallen for the psychologically manipulative FOMO design they've put into nearly every facet of it.
But I like playing 4-person Co-op Horde Game Modes, which the Switch doesn't have a lot of.

I genuinely just play it because it’s fun. Maxed my catalogue out in like the first month every season and still keep playing till the end. Adding pools definitely expanded its lifetime a bit

Wouldn't that mean Splatlings and Chargers would be an absolute nightmare to go up against? A single good Splatling user can easily shut down just 2 Enemy Players.
Probably depends where you're stuck rating wise. It's hammer head and fricking brinewater as the maps so I probably won't touch it.
It’s not 2v2 TC, you still go up against teams of 4. You just can only pair up in duo’s, no full squads

Not really. The single-player campaigns are fun little experiences, but the meat of Splatoon will always be Multiplayer and Salmon Run.

The Devs were too cautious and/or lazy to add in interesting new Game Modes. Just too many good potential ideas and we'll see none of them.

I went to check up on /ink/ and it was some literal schizo drama with some relationship gone wrong from a different general along with discord shenanigans and callouts. So fricking cringe. I refresh the thread and it’s just coomers and no one talking about the game, along with some homosexual making a poster for their private battle days in advance.
Dropped it in season 3, never completed that catalog, it was fun the first 160 hours but this season system is unnecessarily slow, previous games were a lot more engaging with the regular updates. Also frick you add Squid Beats 3

Anyone knows where i can find the info where exactly the game stores its stuff? I tried transferring my savefile to another nand and half the shit is not there, yet it's not serverside either because no connection exists
Also is there any way to trick the game that connection exists? Still only being able to use the shops if you're connected is asinine
Part of the savefile is server side this time, yes.
It's the reason why unlike Splat 2, this game does support cloud saves.
so it still connects even without paying online tax, just doesn't let you do anything? Sounds too sophisticated for nintendo
If you don't have NSO, the only thing your savefile needs to store is single player progress, since everything else is tied to the multiplayer.

I wish we had more ways of interacting with players. Something more than two voice lines. We already have no voice nor text chat, it's dry.
I've switched my d-pad down and L buttons to experiment with being able to help booyah bombs while in the middle of action. It's been a little over a week since I've done this and here are my thoughts.

Given what we got was a small handful of the S2 SR gear it’s all but guaranteed we’ll get more, likely with the next season given they seem to be doing so every other season.
They'll probably add more clothing items I'd guess. Or banners? Who knows.
