By whom? Trails of Mana didn't exactly break records. It's nice they got Ishii back as a "designer" but a designer doesn't sound as in control as a director. Trials was a low budget remake of a beloved JP only entry for an IP that was pretty much dead until then, selling a million units was considered such a success that they gave the new team the green light for an entirely new mainline entry, considering the game itself didn't cost much to make in the first place it might have not broken any record, but it was most certainly seen as a success.
So far Visions looks like it's well received, EB will probably make more money in JP given how there's a lot more talk about it and it's on Switch too, but if they play their cards right it's still going to make some good money overseas and pave the road for more Mana, which is the big plan here, to restore Mana to its former state.
Kiryu-chan said he's looking into diversifying the company's roster and upgrade some IPs into higher budget territory, so again, unless he goes full moron on NFT and it's not just some "exotic" way to deal with taxes, the next fiscal year will see the usual rise due to having more stuff coming out that can offset the usual money drain from FF games, if 7R isn't another disaster it will contribute to that too, especially since the 16 DLC basically went unnoticed and they're trying to bury that too.
Gacha on the other hand is entirely carried by DQW and RSRS though and while big those games are getting pretty old, even though they still make absurd amounts of money they need to come up with a new third pillar now that Tact is dead.

Biggest concern as the entire company is kept afloat by the mobile titles. Speaking as someone that plays a lot of mobile gacha games, most of the SE ones are terrible. They have horrible performance, they lag, they take forever to load into servers (which means anytime you switch pages or click anything it has to load a server which takes time), and most importantly they are incredibly stingey with their premium currency, and even go so far as to differentiate between "free premium currency" (crystals you get from beating missions and playing the game) and "paid premium currency" (the exact same crystals, except you pay real $$ for them) and then lock the most recent banners to "paid premium currency only". Not only that, but the gamea will auot-default to using paid premium currency for things that the free premium currency can be used on, making it doubly as scummy.
