It used to be you couldn't stack injects so I could just backspace and shift click my injects on every hatch in 0.002 seconds and be done with it, but at some point blizzard nerfed that, and now with stacking injects if I backspace it all my queens all just go wandering across the map.
i changed backspace to ~ so I don't have to move my hand to the other side of the keyboard when injecting

Not sure what your ranking is but almost definitely you need to get better at scouting, not over droning, and overall macro like not getting supply blocked. It's standard for me to get 1 evo early and start armor vs T or whichever attack path I plan to go down vs Z or P. Two evos is fine if you scout greedy macro. I recommend getting a fourth Hatch in your main which makes spending a 3 base economy a lot more forgiving.

The core problem with the scout as I see it is that there are very few cases where you aren't better off building corsairs or carriers. Making it stronger is either not really going to affect its usage rate much or it will make one or both of those other units obsolete in its place.
I doubt those changes would help it much. It would still be slow and use too much supply.

The pathfinding in SC2 is genuinely amazing but it being so good encourages units to clump up very easily thus leading to deathball combat
Also the TTK for units is too low and unit silhouettes aren't very distinct against the tilesets in most maps

Don't select any particular worker moron. Box 3+ workers and send them to gas, then shift click 3 out of the selection menu at the bottom and send what you have left back to minerals. Or do both gas at once with 6+ boxed, shift click 3 out then click the other gas, then shift click 3 more out and back to minerals.
