Eh, I'm preordering
Like, what else is there to even play in the sci-fi genre?
Normies are lining up to receive Todd's cum anyway; me not buying won't make much a difference
Not to mention this game could give me ideas for my own game I am preparing to develop.
I'd say play games *and* make games my bros. Learn and see what interests you or others.
There is nothing wrong with pre-ordering. It's the same as gambling. It's probably way better than gambling since there's a hard cap on the pre-order money spent, and you get more enjoyment per dollar.
Star citizen
lol
never ever
uh didn't the devs literally defecate on their userbase?
>just two more weeks guys, once we get these two more months of fixes it'll be ready to ship, definitely after these two more years it'll be incredible, we just have to wait two more decades
I think he was talking about videogames
Scam Citizens, I keep forgeting about that game.
It is the Summertime Saga for normies.
unless you're an anti-digital physicalgay there is zero reason to preorder anything anymore, and shit even if you do prefer physical you can still just go pick it up day 1
>pirates steal all the digital copies
>steam is out of stock now
Didn’t think of that part , did you?
>'out of stock' on digital items
what
Keys for digital products are made in batches, in certain cases a product can sell so quickly that they’ll run out of keys until the next time they make more. I’ve seen it happen only a small handful of times on steam since 2007, I remember having to wait almost a week for new keys to be processed for some shitty burnout game. It was a notoriously common occurrence back when people were buying digital music on iTunes, I remember Kanye’s Graduation was sold out online for almost two weeks because of pirates stealing all the mp3s
Just get a free gaypass trial and play starfield through that
I'm buying it and playing day -5 too. If you actually want a recommendation on space games, one that came out this year that was fantastic was Everspace 2. You should at least wishlist it and get it during the next steam sale. I almost never 100% a game, but it kept me hooked enough to bother with it, even the race sidequests, which I normally loathe.
>that pic
cringe
wth anon
>hating Get Along Gang
1. Frick you.
2. Wrong picture.
Does anyone know why that planet doesn't cast a shadow on its rings? Is it just an oversight?
The shadow is caused by the telescope in that picture, not that planet. Planets don’t leave shadows
>planets don't leave shadows
this homie never heard of an eclipse
It's from SpaceEngine.
kek
What?
what are eclipses then you fricking moron?
there's a shadow from the ring right under the ring, it's a bit covered but it's there
Frick, I see it now.
I remember being in those rings in Elite Dangerous when they were in shadow was very fricking dangerous because you literally can't see shit and you can hit a big ass rock at any second.
Yeah, that's definitely an oversight in the Starfield screenshot.
You literally can't have a pitch black side of the planet and have the whole ring glow.
>Eh, I'm preordering
Don't. It's coming to game pass.
When?
On release day.
Wrong.
Frick off
It's literally not.
frick off, you brown oily man breasts never going to lose your bottom belly fat Hispanic. top fricking kek! the game is cooked and im going to eat

OMG DID THEY COOK THE GAME!!! IM READY TO EAT, BROS!!! BROS THEY COOKED AND IM GOING TO EAT!!!!
>drop in the bucket fallacy
I do not usually jump on the next fotm game but, since this is sci-fi, and Todd Howard, and willing to make an exception

_____________ no ___________ lmao
>playing the broken version
What’s the rush? give it a couple of years so they can fix it and you can also get it discounted with dlc
This. So much this.
I learnt my lesson back in Morrowind. I bought every single expansion separately (like a moron) and had to wait for broken shit to be fixed (and sometimes never).
Waited for Oblivion GOTY.
Waited for Fallout 3 GOTY.
Waited for New Vegas GOTY.
Waited for Skyrim Legendary (still got fricking played because Skyrim Special Edition came out later. Todd you piece of shit).
Skipped and didn't even bother with Fallgay 4.
I'll wait until Starfield GOTY gets released with a the DLC at discount price and bugfixes built-in.
>Waited for Skyrim Legendary (still got fricking played because Skyrim Special Edition came out later.
kek todd howard business genius
>I'll wait
I'll play Day1 for FREE
>years
I'll probably finish my dream game by then
the only bethesda game i ever had technical issues with was fallout 4
i don't get why people b***h about the game being broken on release, i don't know what games you are playing where it's breaking quests, saves, etc, never had any issues with oblivion, skyrim and fallout 3
the only truly horrible experience i had was with fallout new vegas, which wasn't even theirs
Why would you pre-order a digital product?
I did it once and regreted it instantly on launch day. It was for rdr2 on PC and the only reason I did it was because they were offering 2 free games with it and I had never tried Bully or LA Noir so I took the risk in order to try those games as well. Turned out the PC version was busted on release. I spent that month playing and finishing bully and la noir rather than the game I paid 60 bucks for
>*and* make games
I want to learn renpy and make a pedo visual novel
DIS DAT EEEAARLY RELEASE YES SIRRR
https://gofile.io/d/PnSXWT
So where do we rank the shilling?
>bg3

>sf6
>ff16
I guess ac6 goes in there somewhere. After starfield?
>game looks good
>look at deluxe edition steam page
>that'll be 85 british dollarydoos please
nah just gonna pirate it mate.
I'm playing as a pirate character in game, so it's part of my roleplay
I had gotten the game when it was on sale at one of the other sites for basically the same price I'd be paying for the standard game, figured thats the price the "deluxe" edition should be and said frick it
Armored Core.
The best advice for someone hoping to develop a game is to look outside of the game industry for inspiration or everything you make will be derivative.
Also no Bethesda game has ever been good on release without mods.
