So... We all know this game is going to be broken and unplayable at launch right?
Like, every single Bethesda game has been a buggy mess that needs fan patches to even work. Isn't it kind of ridiculous that everyone just forgets this?
I'm almost looking forward to seeing the fallout that ensues from this inevitably catastrophic release. I'd almost feel bad for people buying it but like... what were they expecting?
If it released in November 2022 sure but it's been one year b***h
Halo infinite got delayed a year also
so did totk
It's afraid
we all know that, wait for like 2 years until the game becomes playable
Sony sisters are seething.
TODD is winning.
Fallout 4 was playable on 1.00 PS4
Stop trying to do this historical revisionism of bethesda launches. It's embarrassing.
>bethesda games got good reviews and positive reception on launch because... magic
You are the one who's doing it. 76 is the only disastrous launch, the rest were playable even if they were buggy
waltuh
Will Starfield have a smooth launch?
This theory should have been made canon
Does Todd live rent free in snoy heads?
Will humanity exist past 2030
Elder Scrolls 6 bros...
TES6 coming 2028 trust the plan
sad.
Not surprising.
Wew
Oppenheimer was right
Is Ganker filled with moronic sub-humans?
hoping for not my call
Can anything be done about the troony epidemic?
will Wells get kicked off Amazing Spider-Man soon?
Will I ever have sex with a female again?
Will todd release tes6 before i die
i fell for the 4070 meme, will it be enough for starfield?
Easily.
No
I unironically believe the game will have a relatively smooth launch. Mainly due to the 5 days EA
This. My crystal ball tells me someone on Ganker will encounter a single nothing burger bug then pretend it's the worst game ever produced because of it.
>previous thread hit bump limit
>new thread immediatly started
Completely organic my fellow snoys.
POV: You are Todd Howard on September 6th, 2023
Skyrim is perfectly playable without unofficial patch - almost all of the fixes in it are autistic busywork that you'd never notice was missing.
>unofficial patch
Don't use it, it nerf a lots of things
Stil laffing about the salmon roe incident.
QRD?
The main autist behind the unofficial patch decided to nerf salmon roe (an alchemy ingredient) to bits, bullheadedly insisting it was clearly a bug and oversight. Then a Bethesda dev came along on the official forums (a VERY rare occurrence, they keep almost total radio silence) to confirm that it was, indeed intentional. The resulting butthurt was glorious when they were forced to admit they were wrong all along.
Lmao. It sucks that so many mods are dependent on the patch. I feel like it breaks the ones that dont
>Dovahkiin!? NOOOOOOOOOO
I’m expecting jank, but nothing gamebreaking if Skyrim or FO4 are any indication. Gamebryo was still a new engine at the time of FO3s release but CE2 is much more mature and the devs have more experience with its tools compared now than with Gamebryo
People seem to have collectively decided that Starfield will be mediocre and not as good as BG3. If it has a buggy launch it will be DOA. I expect a higher level of polish on release then usual do to this + Microsoft bucks.
>People seem to have collectively decided that Starfield will be mediocre and not as good as BG3
Honestly this. Fo4 and 76 damaged their brand HARD
FO4 is the most played FO though. 76 wasn’t done by the main studio
shit bro thanks for reminding me, almost forgot to pre-orde the deluxe edition
It's so over
The absolute mental gymnastics of baldurchuds to try and convince themselves their game won't be proven FRAUDULENT with the release of GOTY in 3 weeks.
>We all know this game is going to be broken and unplayable at launch right?
No, I think this is something you just want to believe. I've beat every bethesda game since Fallout 3 within a week of launch and they all were clearly playable.
I don't care if it's broken, I play these games to break them, my first playthrough is always a genocidal rampage to see if the game rewards me for not playing by its rules.
Mods will make it excellent
I, personally, will boot up the game in early access, go to New Atlantis, open the console, disable random buildings and props, begin recording, then post the video here and on Twitter proclaiming that the game is broken, unfinished, and unplayable. I will then continue to play and enjoy it on my own time.
It will come out perfect but it will be meh be the Skyrim cookie cutter will wear off
I still havent played Skyrim.
Oblivion was the most disappointing game I've ever played.
It’s funny seeing snoys pretending to be excited about BG3, they’re going to be incredibly pissed off when they actually play it and discover it’s D&D nerd shit
Going by the history of their previous releases Starfield will have some fricked up quests, not spawning enemies, not opening doors or similar scripting problems that you will experience in no more than 2-3 quests in one save, there will be very specific physics interaction that can deal 999999999dmg which bypass armor instantly, decapitated limbs might have goofy interactions with body their originate from and AI will constantly try to kill itself.
If you think it will be like Scam Citizen where ship clip through the planet, explode and send you into stratosphere then keep your expectations low, at best there will be very low G planet where you can use your gun to fly.
I've missed all the other Bethesda titles on launch cause I was poor and would always wait for patches.
But this time, I want to witness all the jank. Frick, I really wish I got on CP2077 before they made it less broken. That shit looked hilarious.
The sink is mostly boring stuff you have to go out of your way to find like exploring holes in the physics engine to do dumb stuff. Cyberjank was on another level because they outsourced their QA to a team that basically lied to them
