Starfield isn't perfect. OK. But does it really deserve all the hate and shit it gets just for existing?

Starfield will be remembered fondly in two years time.
Yeah, after a shitload of mods.
Nobody will remember Todd's failed "Magnum Opus" pet project for that long.
>The Engoodening of Starfield
I hate it because I wanted it to be GOAT
YES
It’s just so fricking boring
Nothing about it makes me want to keep playing
I'm a israelitetuber covering the game making 30 grand a month off it and I can't stomach it.
Keep working fren, just get the money while the money is good.
I'm out of ideas. Game is stale as frick.
You're not very good at your job then
What type of videos have you already made for it? Best early game weapons?
haha Starfield big pee pee poo poo Xbox is piss piss cum cum, lmao, BRRRRAAAAAPPPPP
I'm probably the only person in the world that thinks it Bethesdas best work.
There are plenty of people in the world who suffer from mental problems so, no. You're not alone.
I'm so sorry anon to tell you this but I think you may have brain damage
How did this happen? Was Todd just trolling with this magnum opus shit or is Bethesda dying?
I think people were serious and Todd believed this was actually an amazing game, which makes it even more sad.
You’re moronic and brown. Todd does this with every game lol
I tought this game would be good, but it's so fricking boring it's not even worth talking about, honestly.
yes
>who cares if it's boring and the same rehashed game since 2007, it's le fun xD
people with this mentality who buy these games are the reason they keep shitting them out and why other devs like gamefreak, ea, and ubisoft release half-baked dogshit: because they know people will buy it anyway
>todd's magnum opus is dragonshouts: in space: the loading screen simulator
appropriate honestly
Yes because it's $70 for bethesda's most bland title yet

fricking hate normalgays shitting up the place
Sorry but I uninstalled it after about 2 hours. I regretted pirating it.
Looks like Doom 3
It's an okay game. If anything I hate it more that it took so much time away from TES. And what did we get? Quite possibly the most sterile and boring space setting every devised with shotty-at-best writing.
I am mad because it even didn’t get moon terrain right.
Imagine if Skyrim locked basic features like great weapons or alchemy behind a skill investment of 30. Or if fallout wouldn't let you repair guns under the same conditions.
Its the worst game of the year
It's worse than that. "Worst game of the year" games like Big Rigs or Sonic 06 still have a chance to be entertaining in unintended ways. Starfield is just bland and boring for every hour you play it.
It’s GOTY.
Snoy fans don't forgive or forget. They are still big mad.
I'm big mad, instead of Firefly or The Expanse I get a struggle session with a side of tampons.
Good thing Snoy fans haven't figured out how to post a random pics proclaiming it is proof of something.
That would be crazy if they did
So your saying the Steam reviews that have now dropped to Mixed are all "big mad" PS fans?
Your poor comprehension of what I posted is something you have to deal with.
Good luck though
Paradiso quest is what made me put the game away for good. What's the point of an "RPG" with so few choices, useless crafting, a worse outpost system than FO4, and so many immortal npcs for no reason? I'd rather play the Sims.
You say RPG like it means something. It is like saying it is also a horrible flongposich game.
RPG is so vauge a term it is useless as a descriptor
It is the culmination of everything Bethesda is. A lazy developer, using an outdated engine and making games for the most braindead of gamers. So, does it deserve the hate? It deserves even more.
>Into The KinoField
Bethesda needs to be crucified for this while there is still hope for them to stop devolving with each release or TES6 is going to be absolute 2/10 dogshit.
It's one of the most boring and sterile feeling games that I've played. The characters suck, the writing sucks, the gameplay sucks and the exploration sucks. The only fun is ship designer but due to how the game is designed your ship means nothing.
The game is great, amazing even. """People""" only hate it because the game is Conservativecore
I hope they add White people in one of the DLC.
"Conservative Core" games involves casual talk between men missing their deceased husbands and preferred pronouns. Yes anon. Totally "conservative".
>the game is conservativecore
where the frick is this meme coming from
it's complete nonsense
Yes, it's probably the only Bethesda game I will never give another try. Let alone thought was even remotely redeemable by mods. It's a complete shitfest of a game, and should have never came out in that state.
its because people suck skyrims dick so much but there really isnt much of a difference between the games. just standards have changed and people expect mo-cap for everything now
Why would Bethesda even think that Nasapunk was a good aesthetic?
Todd is 50 something. In his mind, people still want to be an astronaut as their dream like it was when he was a kid. Nobody cares about "exploring" a bunch of nothing with an even more dull and lifeless aesthetic.
There's nothing to Starfield, really. The gunplay is nothing to write home about. I wouldn't even describe it as "okay." Enemy variety is shit. The space shouts are okay I guess.
The story is just basically nothing, too. Of the characters in it, perhaps one of them has any traits or writing worthy of deeper analysis. Everyone else is a generic cardboard cutout, a cliche, a bland yes-man who exists solely to empower the player, or Mean Criminal Thug. It's worse then Fallout 4. Like even that game, despite how colossally boring it is, got an enormous fandom response revolving around that game's NPC companions. There was at least one aspect of that game's writing that excited people and started so much conversation and fanfictions. It gave Fallout 4 an identity among Bethesda's catalogue. What about Starfield? What makes it unique? Nothing. Todd Howard should be murdered with a rock
Going off of Emil's statements, Bethesda's writing is purposefully unmemorable and inoffensive so as not to distract player focus. They're very much believers in not letting writing get in the way of gameplay.
>that patch
Holy shit thats ALL??? Wtf. This game is shit.
It should've had alien races.
Just humans are so boring and limited. Sci-Fi without aliens is like Fantasy without Elves or Dwarfs....
I barely would call the game sci-fi. Everything is just so damn grounded that it just makes the world very boring.
Watch them add "alien races" with the story expansion and manage to frick that up too.
It's gonna be snake cultists obviously moron
Nah. The setting could have worked if they didn't go and just sterilize it so much. Look at something like Cowboy Bebop. There are only humans in that setting, but the setting still manages to be interesting. There is like no real grime in Starfield that even something like bounty hunting feels super sterile.
Frick of shill, the game is shit. Not even worth hating because it’s so fricking boring.
ai slop
I liked it about as much as Fallout 4, but no where near any of the Elder Scrolls games. I don't see myself replaying it unless the mods really take off after a couple years.
FRICKING YES
What the frick were they thinking with "nasapunk"?
There's nothing punk about it.
Good frick, there really hasn't been a game to make Ganker this angry in a long time. It's been out for a over a month and you're STILL this fricking mad about it. Fricking shit.
People hate Starfield simply because it's made by a straight white man. Starfield isn't that great of a game even though it could've been GOTY if people didn't keep shitting on it for ESG scores.
In no universe would Starfield ever have been GOTY.
You just hate anything made by a white man
Start writing down ideas for storyline mods, drop it in some discords and then AI can do all of the voice/dialogue. This is the space fallout sandbox, we are going to start getting some dope shit in a couple of years. Like probably the best single player Star Wars game of all time, bc Disney's legal team got too much time on their hands rn to deal with modders
>in a couple of years
They should have waited until Starfield was a complete game before releasing it, then.
>hate and shit
maybe is just apathy and boredom
Cut the number of load screens this game has in half and it probably would’ve been tolerable
It's pscucks hating on it.
All the hate it gets here makes sense considering Ganker is a borderline moronic board.
It's weird how many people hate Starfield when it's objectively the best Bethesda game made in the past few decades.
gunplay is objectively better than fallout 4
quests are objectively better written
starship building and combat are objectively fun additions to the core gameplay
characters look great compared to the previous games
there are actual choices you can make as a character and the mainstory quest doesnt hamstring you into a chosen one plotline like their previous games, a lot of thought has been put into expanding role playing choices
The biggest weakness is how the world is segmented into different little parts but everything else is objectively better and yet that still doesnt command the amount of vitriol against this game.
>hate and shit it gets just for existing?
why do zoomers think that merely existing makes it okay to be a steaming pile despite the odds being in your favor.
