I really don't care about anything else when it comes to Starfield, but what are the chances of a Legend of the Galactic Heroes total conversion mod coming out for this bad boy?

i don't chuck sneed but what if seed suck the feed
They will try to monetize mods and paywall them, mark my words.
This.
They've been trying since Skyrim to get a piece of that mod money. Starfield will be no different. Likely there will be a clause in the creation kit agreement that lets them monetize modder's work or something.
As for LotGH mods, you're probably going to have to wait a while. Startrek and Starwars and probably a 40k conversion mod will all be long before anyone does anything as niche as LotGH. Besides, I highly doubt the system can handle even 10 ships on screen at once, let alone hundreds
I haven't trusted them since horse armor in Oblivion; remember they started this whole fricking mtx trend in the west.
>Likely there will be a clause in the creation kit agreement that lets them monetize modder's work or something.
Then I'll make every mod of mine include rape, cannibalizing babies and killing minorities in the name of white supremacy. I dare you to put that up for sale, Todd.
I think at this point star wars has fallen enough that LotGH is probably more popular than it
but there's way more resources for making star wars mods
Nah there are still legions of reddit tier nu-males or whatever you want to call them. Even they know things are fricked however much denial they're in but they'll still consume product.
And it WILL happen because this is the patreon generation, when working a normal 9 to 5 can't buy you shit anymore so people turn hobbies into jobs.
And? You just make an unofficial mod like always
I call dibs on Muller's ship, frick you.
Too late, it is already mine. if only Kirchies were here to enjoy it with me...

>One token black that's also comic relief
That's just reality
It's not about Germaboo crap, it's about an ideological conflict between democracy and autocracy and a legitimate discussion as to which can better serve the people as a system of government. the whole "80s space america vs 1800s space prussia" thing is just there as a backdrop and cuz its cool, but it doesn't actually matter to what the show is actually saying or about.
so it's some kind of puddle deep meme political commentary that doesn't go nowhere, thanks. I'd rather just read pic related. I fricking hated the parts in Witcher that are about choice and morality. I hated this shit in Dishonored, RDR2 and many other games too because it's incredibly shallow and low effort. It's like these devs, artists, animators, whatever don't even read these books, they don't even read the wiki articles. They just come up with tropey bullshit. I've seen 100s of screenshots from your generic anime and despite them being presumably the cream of the crop of your animoo (otherwise you gays wouldn't post them here) they're all BORING
Peak pseud
>so it's some kind of puddle deep meme political commentary
Nah, there are some legitimately interesting points made about whether or not the best possible autocracy can be better than the worst possible democracy, with attention to how institutions are necessary as a system of checks and balances in order to keep rulers in check
To give a Ganker example, because this is actually a board for Video Games, it's sorta like if Deus Ex focused almost entirely on the debate between the three different endings and which would actually be better for society
>that doesn't go nowhere
it does, but because the book was written in post war japan it concludes at the end that the best system of government is Constitutional Monarchy, like what Japan has, even though it has none of the strengths of either Autocracy or Democracy, and seemingly contradicts what most of the characters were saying and believing in for 99% of the series
I'd argue it doesn't necessarily contradict anything, just posits that it's a better way forward than what the FPA or the Empire have currently. The main point is that there is no perfect or even necessarily better system - just compromise and compromise, unending.
this is puddle deep, all you've told me is
>checks and balances and the separation of powers are important
>constitutional monarchy = best
Which are very basic, quite elementary insights in Western political philosophy. Here in Europe we learn about these things in elementary school. So basic in fact that they've been discussed and debated for thousands of years, since the time of Aristotle, Plato, Xenophon, Socrates, etc. Please give this a skim which will only take you minutes:
https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/aristotle-politics/
Much better than watching that shitty animu.
https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/ancient-political/
Check this paragraph:
>…if he [the statesman] is given the choice among governments, like so many tools, he would follow Plato’s advice and choose no other than monarchy, the only one which is able to sustain that top note of virtue, high in the highest sense, and never let it be tuned down under compulsion or expediency. For the other forms of government in a certain sense, although controlled by the statesman, control him, and although carried along by him, carry him along, since he has no firmly established strength to oppose those from whom his strength is derived…. (Peri mon. 827bc)
I always thought it was more about how systems are always subject to decay (both the FPA and Empire are stagnating at the beginning), and how it's up to individuals to shape these systems for future generations.
The irony then is that the question of "which system" becomes more about how you facilitate the rise of heroes like Reinhard to take over and reform that very system.
In many ways, the story seems to favor Reinhard over Yang, just because Reinhard actually changes the system. He topples the decadent Goldenbaums, ends the FPA, and even annexes Fezzan. His subordinates' talents are used as well as they can be, and he constructs a prosperous realm. Meanwhile, Yang seems to cling to empty ideals and constantly refuses to help the FPA reform.
But we also know that the Lohengramm Empire will likely end in a similar state as the Goldenbaums or the FPA, and that's where Yang and Julian come into play. They present a new system in order to challenge the old one when the time comes, but neither they nor us truly know how that will end.
What matters is that the decadent systems are challenged. It seems to favor an autocracy or monarchy, but that's only conditional on the autocracy having rulers like Reinhard (which won't always happen).
I would think that the constitutional monarchy thus arises as a synthesis of autocracy and democracy, since it would address the problems of both. I don't actually know, because I stopped watching after Reinhard and Hildegard got married.
It's worth finishing
If there would ever be a dream anime for me, I'd want a Legend of the Galactic Heroes remake that is the same up until the end of the second arc, and instead have Yang take Schenkopf's advice and destroy Reinhard's ship and seize power. I think the decision would genuinely destroy Yang as a person and the chaos that would ensue would be an entertaining alternate reality
>Spoiler
Oh frick that's good
Almost makes me wish we got that instead of what actually happened
Thanks bro. I also always find the discussion online in English a lot of times lacking in terms of quality. The amount of people who think Oberstein is evil because of the Westerlands is baffling.
>The amount of people who think Oberstein is evil because of the Westerlands is baffling.
Daily reminder that Oberstein did nothing wrong, except when he knew Lang was working with Phezzan but did nothing to stop him from framing Reuntal for an assassination attempt, causing Reuntal to rebel and die
It's all generic tropey cringe shit with "big words" (which only seem big to the morons that made the anime). Existentialism. Knee cheese. Collectivism. Consequentialism. Kantianism. Social Contractarianism. Rawlsianism. Fricking give the SEP a skim instead of wasting time on this crap. And the Greeks BTFO'd democracy more than 2000 years ago you stupid fricking bastard. Why are you pseuds so obnoxious and arrogant?
>hey bro it's deep it talks about democracy and who you should vote hillary vs trump hehe i vote Black folk or racism or pee pee pooo pooo bro which side u on, red or blue? answer fast
We have found the biggest pseudo on the planet and we can't even kick him out of an airlock
kys predditor. Watching animoo doesn't give you IQ points. Life's not a vidyagaem
neither does reading the greeks, or reading philosophy most of all. There is no vitality to either activity.
i agree with that
Agreed, witnessed it with my father. Knew Latin, read some ancient Greek, loved Russian literature. Didn't do much with it all other than read in any spare moment he had.
Sad. So much talent spent :/
I take it as a reminder that thought without action is masturbation.
A reminder of us all to die spent.
>this guy read a book and was too stupid to use it to inform the other aspects of his life
>therefore reading is le bad
sterile activity defender, deserves to be cast into the deepest pit you can find
>I'm too stupid to generalize and connect abstract notions I read in books to other aspects of my life
>therefore reading is universally bad
>look, all readers are milquetoast pseuds that use big words and work as cashiers or baristas
In my father's case he was blacklisted by EKU (Kentucky) after being seen reading Solzhenitsyn's Gulag Archipelago. Can't finish a history Ph.D. if your entire department turns against you.
Or so he said, I don't know for sure. He certainly had opportunity to build himself back up afterward and failed to do so.
Not my personal blog though, carry on.
yeah I get it academicuck philosophy is atrocious and the people that publish academicuck articles and shit out books on a schedule like it's a turd you're supposed to drop into the toilet every morning (as long as you're not constipated) are absolutely what you'd described a few posts ago. Milquetoast pseuds, generic predditors, big word but big stupid. They're also obsessed with virtue signaling like all effete and effeminate bugmen collectivist "greater good" normalgays are. You shouldn't tell them that you've read books that they consider Le Bad because they'll ostracize you, gossip about you, remove you from society and dehumanize you which are all justified, measured responses to vile crimes like reading a fricking book or using some racist word. Typical normaloid feminine bullshit from bugmen that feel the need to belong to some shitty knitting club.
nobody said anything was universally bad, literal inability to abstract out from common language amalgams, also known as philosophy mind rot or 10,000 words needed to set up basic proposition that our sensory organs intuit without a problem
what are you talking about? phenomenology? that's just one tiny part of western philosophy or eastern too if you use the term in its widest, general sense. You're mainly referring to academicuck philosophy, i.e. morons that are paid to shit out papers every month in a publish or die environment, where they have gender quotas, funding, and they have to use female pronouns and dedicate 25% of their career to feminazi "philosophy"
Being able to intuit something and being able to rigorously explain it rationally are two extremely different things. Its true, a lot of philosophers are simply bad at writing, and a lot of modern philosophy is just word salad, but even the ones that are good at both thuinking and writing (Plato, Nietzsche, Schopenhauer) can be verbose when they discuss things (especially formally). It just comes with the territory sometimes.
Examples of philosophers with actual vitality who tried to live fruitfully, but undoubtedly these are the exceptions rather then any common rule
>sterile activity
What does this even mean motherfricker, you are reading RIGHT NOW.
also when I read books I do it slowly, with a pen and paper, writing a full essay after I finish each book.
>this is overkill
It's a short fricking essay + some notes. If you don't do this please stop reading, you're wasting your fricking time.
The next level is to have layered notes and I reserve that for REALLY good books. By that I mean analyizing and summarizing each paragraph, then each page, each chapter, section, etc. Then summarizing your notes, and those notes, and so on.
>tfw intellectual coomer
Oh go read another philosophy book to calm down, why don't you, insufferable c**t.
shut up you predditor pseud. Your tranimes are bad, get over it. Move on, troony. Sheesh

hope someone makes a 40k mod, we might actually get a good 40k game then

You are a moron. Rope, now.
Whelp, consider my interest killed. Thanks Todd
IDK, but a Star Wars mod is guaranteed, EVERY space game with a modding scene has a Star Wars mod.
They will release the GECK for it two weeks after launch.
Star Wars is gay as frick. I'm strictly hetero so I'll stick to Legend of the Galactic Heroes
They already said they're doing full mod support for it.
Chances are pretty good. But a total conversion mod would be a huge endeavor.
It's gonna be hard to simulate battles with millions of ships. Isn't SoaSE the closest thing? I remember there was a LotGH mod in progress for that at one point. Homeworld 3 might be promising as well.
I'd love a LotGH RPG, though - based on the original series, of course.
I'm 100% going to LARP as him
I don't think you have a hairline, facial features or looks to LARP him, anon. A balding obese neckbeard with stringy/greasy hair can't LARP him.
I'm 30 years old.
>I'm 30 years old.
You'll be, in 15 years. Now back to *eddit.
Has there been much progress on that ultimate laserdisc HD master?
All liquor/alcohol tastes like shit to me. You could give me expensive bourbon or whisky and I'd say it tastes like shit. I don't care how fancy the glass/setting is, it'd taste like shit. I'd rather sip ginger ale or sparkling water. I don't care if we're in a $5,000 bar in space among VIP's, it'd tastes like shit.
18+ website, buddy.
You'll save money that way, it's fine.
try mead/hydromel. it will change your life
I've never seen "mead" sold at liquor stores or bars, don't you have to make it yourself?
It's a more traditional drink and harder to make. try it if you find a place, but it's probably hard in the US. Mead is so fricking good I find it hard to believe anyone will not like it
If it's so good/popular, I'm surprised breweries around making it, packaging it and selling it at liquor stores.
Try a slightly more specialized/upscale liquor store if you're interested. I'd also suggest (good) sake - never Genkaikan, not even once
Danish, what else would you expect?
I'm in a modest midwestern USA town and Dansk Mjød is easily found here.
>muhjod
Weird name
I usually have mead in a medieval themed bar next to my place, it really is good.
Whiskey and other hard liquor is usually an aquired taste.
Homemade wine and mead, and some ales taste good for anyone. Also self-distilled liqueur from aforementioned wine or mead is pretty good.
>Whiskey and other hard liquor is usually an aquired taste.
I loved my first sip of scotch. I hated beer and wine so much that I didn't think I liked alcohol until I tried scotch. Then I found out I was meant to be drinking whisky the entire time.
It's either genetic or self imposed mental illness to like alcohol, don't worry.
>expensive bourbon
To me, they feel like wheat beers with the ABV sextupled, and I don't like that. Hard liquors are some of the hardest to "get" because of quirks like that. In general, though, you don't drink liquors for the taste. If you want that, you drink wines or beers, where the alcohol just adds to the flavor of the drink.
I got mead from a Kroger in a small town in Ohio. It's rare, but you have to look for it. Generally near the white wines or special ones. It's also sometimes called honey wine.
But it's really good, if a bit sweet. Same with a nice hard cider.
Honestly all alcohol takes a bit of acquired taste to get into. I didn't enjoy whiskey until after years of trying different foods and drinks. If you ever read a pairing guide for foods and alcohol I would try that as a good drink can enhance a meal and vice versa. Also keep in mind your tastebuds change as you grow older.
Most people in my country mix alcohol with soft drinks, I think drinking hard liquor alone it's mostly an American and maybe Slavic thing
Argentine? Fernet and coke was a curiosity, but left much to be desired. The wine however was incredible.
Spain. I meant alcohol as in gin, whiskey, rum, vodka... Obviously wine, beer, cider, tequila, shots and that kind of thing go alone.
Yeah, you have access to so much quality alcohol that isn't hard liquor, I don't blame you for that sentiment.
I do hope you get to try some quality bourbon at some point though. Mezcal also.
Americans enjoy wienertails as well, but yeah drinking straight whisky is a thing that goes back at least to the 19th century in the US.
alcohol is a meme. be glad that you didn't fall for it.
I fricking love the Hyperion
I don't think Microsoft sees the value of mods. I imagine they will monetize it somehow like charging for the tools instead of giving them away
>legitimately like one good Skyrim overhaul
>zero good FO4 overhauls
>OMG EVERY PLANET WILL HAVE ITS OWN OVERHAUL OMGOMG
still waiting for F4NV
still waiting for Fallout: London
still waiting for Project Miami
It's all so tiresome
Miami is the only one I remember keeping an eye on, and I can't exactly remember why. None of this shit is coming out.
I mean, Fallout 4's modding community in general never really got close to Skyrim's. I think a big part of that was because it was much more limited as an RPG due to the voiced protagonist.
It's a pity eleven.ai locked down and charges absurd prices.
You can mod voiced protag out, and then write anything you want like you did for Skyrim.
Perhaps, the problem is that majority of players are shitters who actually like voiced protag and voiceovers in general, and won't touch anything that doesn't have voice acting, AI or not.
You forgot the dialog system is also limited
Ok so why didn't F3 or NV got as close as Skyrim then? Neither of those had voice protags.
Starfield modding community will not even reach Fallout 4 tier because space games are not popular. Don't really expect a lot. The main modding audience will be ED/SE/SC players
You are so delusional lmao. You can't be serious.
>You are so delusional lmao
I'm not. Everyone who play space games knows it. Besides NMS zoomers.
You're arguing that a BGS game with spaceships and 1000 planets will not get mods. You are certainly mentally moronic.
>You're arguing that a BGS game with spaceships and 1000 planets will not get mods
Yes. It will be less popular than FO4.1000 planets lmao. You pick landing spot and game generates limited area for you. This is why you can't fly spaceship in atmoshere. The space it generates is the same point of interest from FO76/FO4. The flying in space is just loading screen jump.
It will be more popular than Skyrim.
Yeah sure.
There's literally no reason to believe it won't be. Fallout 4 has had more mods in a shorter period than Skyrim and it had its tools seriously delayed which killed a lot of hype. And people didn't even like that game very much. People will like Starfield and the modding capabilities are much higher.
>There's literally no reason to believe it won't be
There is. Space games are boring in the eyes of normalgays. That's why I talking about ED/SE/SC modding audience. I mean go look at normalgay reaction. How can you even compare this to fricking Skyrim? Did you even witness Skyrim hype live? Before even fricking twitter age.
>Space games are boring in the eyes of normalgays.
No, space games are simply dog shit wastes of time but this game won't be as far as normalgays are concerned. I agree with them too. I love sci-fi stuff but the games are usually bad.
Starfield is Skyrim, but newer, in space with 1000 planets. It will sell like hot cakes and get shit tons of mods. You are completely moronic to think otherwise.
>No, space games are simply dog shit wastes of time but this game won't be as far as normalgays are concerned. I agree with them too.
Lmao. As I expected from NMS zoomer. Starfield is Skyrim no cap frfr. 1000 mods incoming!
lmao zoomers dont make shit lol millennials are moving on moron... its why shit like the FPS genre is dying, all you morons now how to do is run up mommies credit card on a random battlebass
Peak delusion right here.
NMS is one of those dog shit games. Again a delusional post.
>Peak delusion right here.
Name even one decent zoomer modder. Pro tip you can't because they're all useless tiktok homosexuals.
I don't give a frick about individual modders but this doesn't change the fact that you're a delusional moron grasping at straws. Keep acting like an old man hating the youth though, that will surely stop young people from making mods.
>I don't give a frick about individual modders
Couldn't even name one? Goddamn that's pathetic lmao.
>you don't stalk modders enough to know their ages? haha so pathetic
nta but Jhirno, the dude making a Brawler total conversion mod for Yakuza 7
Nah, the minds who create giant overhauls are either too autistic or not going to be interested in doing stuff on massive planets.
The only mod I want is being able to fly down to the planet and fly over everything. I am not sure how fricking bad the performance of loading all t hose cells would be, but its likely the reason Bethesda just does it in a cutscene
Again, you are mentally challenged.
>cells
They already said it’s object streaming
Source?
>because space games are not popular.
>he doesn't know
Do you think that the fact you can make extremely convincing AI revoices is going to turn that around though? Is it too late for Fallout 4?
I like the magic thing they did at the end not enough Sci-fi does magic
What magic thing? The Terrarists were the only sorta bullshit thing.
What the frick were they thinking.
Towards the end of the presentation the the pc did a thing with his hand and inverted gravity for a bunch of pirates and walks past them slowly
Oh I thought you were talking about LotGH.
At best you will get an outfit and maybe a ship
>vanilla Starfield vs modded starfield
>that absolutely soulless Oberstein redesign
What the actual frick?
I have practically no interest in the remake, but I am curious if it's battle sequences are any could/could be spliced into the original.
they look like Star Wars fights now
frick that's even worse than the character designs
soulless
Why the hair changes? Top hair alone looks 10Xs better
they fricked my man julian up
Your man Julian got de-aged from 22 to 14, or maybe 20 to 12.
Julian doesn't even get to 22 in the show, and the show lasts years. You're right that it's shit, though
LOOK HOW THEY MASSACRED MY BOY MITTERMEYER
LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO POOR CAZZELNU
WHAT THE FRICK WERE THEY THINKING WITH JULIAN AND SCHENKOPP
THE FRICK DID THEY DO TO OBERSTEIN AND REUNTAL
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Especially when it was a plot point in the series that Imperials were literally decided based on eugenics favoring Germanic ethnicity. Late in the series they even specifically mention a woman who looks unique due to her being a very rare case of being mostly Japanese ethnicity.
Why can't Adobe Animeweaver do floofy hair?
Digital and its consequences have been a disaster for animation
They got the Kuroko no Basket character artist from the anime to do the character designs here btw.
>we want females to watch the remake
They already watched the original though, why do you think there's so much fujoshit in the fanbase
These remake designs will never sit right with me. I mean could you image Reuenthal's rebellion arc with the 2018 design? Such a kino part of the show and there's no way I could take it seriously if he looked like that. Do fujos really like the bottom row more?
Hope so but if not as long as starfield has super curvy big breasts and ass mods where I can frick every girl in the game then I’ll play it
Literally a whole Mass effect mod.
not logh related, but I am gonna make characters from crest of stars and hopefully make them my crew
10/10 taste
don't forget the music too
I ruv riberty
Very low. Mods these days are made by seriously mentally ill transvestites who lock their mods behind a paywall and they might delete them on a whim due to severe psychotic attacks.
Christ those are the most disgusting portraits I've ever seen for Stardew
Sadly this.
I have had to fork some projects myself, to filter out the cancer.
I'd honestly go for anyone in this pic except for Old Yotsuba and Dolores Umbridge
Someone needs to mod together some sort of cluster frick Stellaris x X4 mod for this purpose.
I want a mod that lets me run around the galaxy watching my female captain get knotted by alien wildlife.
You've got breasts and Subverse already, god forbid you cucks keep it to yourselves.
>breasts
Text shit is boring.
>Subverse
Literally just Studiofow alien NTR.
I want the degenerate Skyrim type shit with aliens.
breasts has no feral but it is good for a troon like that anon
>Troon
Wrong. I am a degenerate coomer though.
A Mass Effect style game playing as a member of the Rosenritter would be something.
0%
You MIGHT get a few ship and clothing mods, but even then, I wouldn't hold my breath.
Nexus would throw a fit somehow too
Dune mod
You guys should definitely lower your expectations of the modding scenes because
A: Mod tools won't release for 5 months after release
B: They could introduce tricky stuff that makes hobbyist modding pretty hard to sustain. I heard that FO4 had something about collision and combined meshes. Someone smarter and more experienced than me can explain the details
The reality is that people will just hack FO4's CS to output mods for Starfield and use TES5Edit to correct any incompatibilities, then in five months these shitty mods will all be considered "deprecated" or "broken" because they weren't generated correctly even if they worked
Happens with every fricking bethesda game
I remember my friend did this with Skyrim. He made one of the first player-made house mods this way.
Nah Todd himself say that modding is what give Skyrim second life and already proclaimed that modders will get their best tools yet.. the modding scene will be great but total conversations mods are always pain in the ass and in 90% cases never finished. Anyway people who are doom posting about modding have no idea.. For microsoft it is way more profitable to let the players keeping the games alive for decade and selling copies of games than trying to sell mods.
Yeah but when Bethesda ever released their modding tools pretty early?
never iirc, but modders used the old tools and made good headway with them regardless
On top of this, the game will be free on gamepass. Microsoft wants people on gamepass so why the frick would they lock down mods?
Yeach sure.. problem is that create total conversion is not project for weekend but for years. But it can happen sure..
Larger than 0 but not significantly so. If this shit turns out to be Fallout 4 with even more stuff bolted onto the engine modding is effectively fricked beyond the most mundane stuff.
I better see a Namek planet mod with Saiyan race
Gonna go full Rudolf on those space pirates
>but what are the chances of a Legend of the Galactic Heroes total conversion mod coming out for this bad boy?
Pretty close to zero if you don't make it yourself.
I really like how the mods I want are basically guaranteed lol. I'm normie as frick just wanting the Millenium Falcon and 2B pretty much. Anything other than that will be fun to look at too.
I wait for the A-Wing.
It's kinda silly how the game apparently doesn't have speeders so modders will have to do it
I'm waiting for the Lancer class Frigate.
Ah yes, the thinking man's suicide note.
The chances are not high enough
Why do you shit eaters automatically think mods are just gonna appear out of thin air?If I was a modder I would be taxing you little piggies through my patreon.Skyrim is a once in a lifetime event where the hardware restriction was low enough for anyone to make things for it.Space games have the same star wars overhuals and thats it lol
YWNBAG(amedev)
I'll donate $5 to your patreon if you kys.
good thread
If only you were here Kirchies.
If only you were here Kirchies.
Walking to the bar cuz I can't sleep right now
If only you were here, Kircheis
It will take a lot time before proper Starfield mods
>no LoGH mod for X3/X4
I think X3 and X4 are just complete ass to mod for, X4 doesnt have a lot of mods in general.
X3 does have jumbo sized mods like Farnham's Legacy though, so maybe it doesn't really have an excuse.
>I think X3 and X4 are just complete ass to mod for,
Opposite. But times just change. No new zoomer blood. X3 modding generation was on it's peak during 2005 - 2011.
The Star Wars mod for X4 is top tier.
All I want: ODST armor port. Pelican ship mod.
So much this I wanna be an ODST
Rosenritter or Mobile Infantry, but tomato/tomato.
Would've been cool if Microsoft got the old Halo devs to help with Starfield instead of ID. They had good vehicle game and the shooting was fun.
B-Wing is needed.
B-Wing has arrived.
Modding potential is slim. Bethesda has been making their games much more complex, engine-wise, which severely hinders modding.
>but what are the chances of a Legend of the Galactic Heroes total conversion mod coming out for this bad boy?
0%
people don't make total conversion mods for bethesda games. The ck is just too much of a c**t to work with for that long for a passion project. Skyrim is one of the most modded bethesda games, and it has 1 singular total conversion mod.
Doubtful that the gameplay would be amenable to what you want for LOGH
The best experience you have in Fallout and TES is on your first few unmodded playthroughs. I couldn't careless how much mod support the game has if it's trash.
Mods never saved the trash fire that was Fallout 4. It was that bad of a game fundementally.
>Mods never saved the trash fire that was Fallout 4
Yes they did.
Is Starfield even worth it? It just seems like a slightly better NMS, and I'm just fine playing that.
>slightly
26,000x the dialogue
400x the dungeons
50x the guns
20x the weapon modification
10x the quests
5x the enemy variety
5x the cities
6.25×10-9% of the planets
Ship building
Boarding enemy ships
Dialogue-based piracy
Companions
I'm sure I could find more points but you get the idea. Buy Starfield, it's NMS as an ARPG instead of a survival crafter.
I will get one.
>starfox mod where you kill the furshits and steal their shit
holy based
First thing I do is mod out this atrocity
I feel like that was placed there intentionally for the NSFW modders.
>modders make beautiful women, or they try it
>bethesda makes hideous troony freaks
what did todd mean by this
>we don't want to even begin to play the game of walking the line with SJW outrage, so we're going to go in the opposite direction as a joke with full body suits
I'm sure someone will mod in some nice naked Asari dancers
I want a Virago Star Viper
I want an actual Basilisk War Droid and not some crappy knockoff.
I want somebody to mod in Spacewalks if they are not already in game, and combat from the hull of a ship.
> Papyrus still fricking over scripting
> Perks somehow hardcoded to be fricked over again so modders cant fix it for yearss
> no ammo types
> memory leaks
> Launching with creation club (constellation edition seems to indicate it by including a skin)
> Game is called STARfield
> Cant make a space station
Unless your making it yourself slim, i doubt theres large enough fanbase to do that
Why the frick are you replying to the bait, he'd rather believe his own shit than watch it.
Don't give him anything, not one single (you)
rate my mod ideas:
>Skyrim in Starfield mod
>CoD Future Warfare weapon port mod
>Bounty Hunter mod
>Space trucker mod
>Space merchant mod
>Noodle chef mod
>Hire a henchmen/merc mod
>Social etiquette mod
>space farmer mod
>cozy space plant gathering and research and scientist experimentalist mod
>hoverbike mod
>Social ranks from being a merc to starting your own crew to being a corpo ceo mod
>space hookers and pimps and slavers mod
>better hairs mod
>less plasticy texture mod
Space farmer could do really, really well. With broad appeal. Stardew Valley in space, with voice AI it's trivial, other than the fact that most mod creators are absolute shit writers.
AI can write too
Barone while not great did better than could be expect for a man on the west coast of the USA. The wholesome general image with lots of underlying issues was surprisingly well done. Then those expansion mods were tacky and cheaply written. Similar with shit like Portia, afraid to write any depth to their characters and choked from design-by-committee.
all's to say I don't think AI is capable of decent quality longform writing maintaining a more or less consistent tone.
>Skyrim in Starfield mod
That's easy enough, plenty of other games have been modded to trigger the .EXEs of other programs, pretty sure you can even launch Skyrim via activating a book in either Morrowind or Oblivion.
>no Gundam mods
>game comes out and it's fantastic
>it also has great mod support so people mod the crap out of it
>it's such a cultural zeitgeist that even people like OP who aren't even interested in the base game buy it for the mods
>OP tries the base game anyway knowing it's not his thing and then claims it's shit because it doesn't have Souls combat or whatever
You contrarians are gonna do this all over again, aren't you?
>Legend of the Galactic Heroes total conversion mod
What? This game doesn't fit LoGH at all.
Games like Stellaris or Sins of a Solar Empire do. And they both have LoGH mods, pic related
People talk about modders adding locations to planets but mod dungeons are always ALWAYS shit. Especially when they stuff multiple into one mod. The average level design knowledge of a modder is somehow lesser than Bethesda's.
you have no experience with mods
I jist want romancable aliens, and the ability to freely control my ship like in no mans sky
I also want cool War Hammer weapons and power armors added in
Who cares if Beth earns money with mods? Nexus is making a shiton and no one seems to give a single frick
I'm just hoping for a mod that turns the base building and expands it into something like Rimworld.
I think so because the space setting - and presumably, hundreds of more or less empty planets - means that modders will have much more room to add their own content in a natural way. In Skyrim and Fallout 4, you ran into the problem that you'd eventually just run out of space to put content in. That's not going to be a problem here.
Not to mention you can just make your own planets too, probably.
>what are the chances of a Legend of the Galactic Heroes total conversion mod coming out for this bad boy?
I would actually consider buying the game if this happened
Most modders are degenerates. You may have some mods but without the wars, I don't really see the point other than cameos. Maybe something with bases, but there are no ships? Also most modders are degens, there is a lack of sapient aliens more importantly a lack of busty sapient aliens. That will bore alot of the fanbase real fast. I have my reservations and eagerly await more data.
If modders were smart, they would charge $1 for a big mod, 10 cents for a minor mod, maybe even less. People would pay if the price was reasonable.
I want to see pilotable mobile suits
Until there is a good mod to fix the faces and a mod to turn your ship crew into your own personal sex slaves, im not buying the game.
