I mean, the original premise of sony fanboys buying Starfield on Steam, leaving a negative review then refunding the game really isn't that far fetched that it would be difficult to believe. Sony fanboys are doing that sort of thing all the time on Metacritics too where they will review any Xbox exclusive with 0/10 and any Playstation exclusive with 10/10. It's not that much of a hurdle to buy the game on Steam considering Steam has a no questions asked refund policy if your playtime is under 2 hours.
They didn't bomb the steam releases of previous snoy exclusives like FFVII, spiderman, or returnal, despite b***hing about sony abandoning exclusivity of these titles
because those are still their games technically. In their mind, PS5 exclusives coming to PC are like ambassadors, showing off the superiority of the PS5, obviously they wouldn't want to review bomb those games but ideally they'd want PC players raving about how great those Playstatoin exclusives are and how much they've been missing out on. Unfortunately that didn't happen because no Sony first party exclusive has ever broken even as low as 20k concurrent players on Steam.

If Steam wasn't seen as a valuable untapped market by Sony, they wouldn't be so dedicated to put all of their most prestigeous exclusives on there in the first place. Especially after holding out for years without putting their exclusives onto Steam, they finally caved and they obviously did it for a good reason. You are just coping that the greatest games Playstation has to offer were nothing but a fart in the wind on Steam, whereis even Bethesda at their worst managed to make a game that outsold the greatest Sony first party titles 10 to 1 on PC.

Not even Sony believes this because it wouldn't make any economical sense for them to port those games to PC if they thought that everyone who wanted to play them had already bought a Playstation in order to play them. No game in history has ever had this many negative reviews pile up AFTER the game was already universally panned. People don't buy games they already know are bad just to leave a negative review, it has literally never happened before, even with games that are far more hated than Starfield like Forespoken, FO 76 or Anthem. Usually, the negative reviews come in during the first weeks of release, when people who preordered and bought the game on hype voice their disappointment. But why the frick would there be thousands of people buying Starfield organically right now just to leave a negative review that just confirms all the other negative reviews the game already has? Everybody knows what Starfield is and what they can expect from it, no one is buying the game in the dark here where they could be surprised by what they get. This is clearly a snoy review bomb campaign, whether you like Starfield or hate Starfield, that much is an absolutely undeniable fact.
