isaac is really good
How good?
really good
What makes it good? It looks cheap
It resonates with fans that were abused as a child.
the gameplay. it's the perfect amount of challenge and fun. most of the items/synergies are great and lots of fun to learn. plus, there is so much content/unlocks that you will easily put in 500+ hours just trying to unlock everything. there are some bullshit enemies/bosses, but for the most part every time you die it feels like it's your fault for messing up. also, most runs only take like 30 minutes, so it's really easy to just pick it up for a quick run
It looks like a flashgame, sure. But it has a theme that it keeps and it somewhat works. Its the best roguelike out there. It has simple but fun gameplay and insane amount of items, synergy, secrets, randomness and unlocks. And it has none of that Rogue Legacy type of bullshit, where you upgrade 0.4% health per run which sucks ass and makes every roguelike worse for implementing systems like that
>indishit with quirky name
peak shit
I would keep Isaac and drop everything.
hat in time is kino
Isaac slaps ofc and dorf is a good chill game to play in spurts
I don't really see anything I'm interested in tbqh.
It's for the better though, still haven't finished all the games I got on the last sale.
Nothing to add to my backlog either this time around, feels kinda weird
fricking Baba is You is never on sale
>new steam beta shows % off in cart
neat.
Dude, you HAVE to get Mr X DLC for Streets of Rage it's only a couple bucks. God tier game.
For $2 extra, okay anon, I'll trust you.
NTA but it's worth it.
Id get some fps game like battlefield 4 or modern warfare 3 but im poor now lol
>waited on this sale to get BG3
>BG3 is only 10% off
Frick these israeli chinkfrickers, it's the fricking CHRISTMAS sale, games should go on large discounts.
you should be happy they even put a discount at all, it's only 4 months old and its still selling like hotcakes.
>months in the top 3-5 all selling of steam
>just got goty
>people would buy the game even if had no discount
makes no sense for them to put a huge discount
they could do just to be nice, but makes no sense
I guess it's a final proof that it's selling incredibly well and the chink bots schizo is actually a schizo.
It came out this year. It's much more shocking that re4 is 50% off.
Sekiro still being 30$ is unforgivable though.
>Ready or Not gets nothing
>tfw
I don't understand the thinking behind this pricing...
Gal Gun 2 is worth it even at full price.
I would like to play the first one first, but maybe it's one of these games that it doesn't matter.
Maybe 2 complete is the better deal overall.
$3 at the key shops.
How's Gal Gun 2 compared to Double Gun? Bought it awhile back but completely forgot about it.
hmmm.
I can't win today..

what gives?
It already had a sale for Holloween.
homie just use cdkeys, ds3 deluxe is like $30 on there
Hows Wo long now that it has all the DLC? Any good?
BUYING GLOOMWOOD, ULTRAKILL AND AOE IV:ANNIVERSARY.
i've heard great things about ultrakill
Has anyone played this?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/371970/Barony/
Yeah, its very fun. If you like the base gameplay loop consider buying the dlc since it adds a shit ton of content.
Cool, will check it out with some friends, thanks anon
Really fun but friends are not optional.
I don't even play video games
Somebody recommended me Elechead, should I swap out any of these games for that? Also, are the Jedi Knight games any good?
Cave Story has a bunch of additional content in console versions which was left out of the PC release for whatever reason. Great game either way but if you want more stuff go for modern console versions
>Ninja Saviours
Yeah I'm thinking he's based
Ninja Saviors is totally not worth the price. It's based off the SNES remake, which is absolutely inferior to the arcade version in every way. Less enemies on screen, less enemy types, less enemy group variety at a given time. Because the screen was significantly smaller (original arcade was ultra wide 3x CRTs) then to make the game "difficult" they just put 3x same enemy type with invisible wall and bloated HP for you to mash the same combo, so now because the game is 2d only instead of 2.5d then it's mindnumbingly boring. I suggest emulate Arcade and then SNES before actually purchasing the remake.
It's an entirely different game with different rules and principles, what the frick shitpost bait is this
>cave story
Why not just get the free version?
Why? I want to support the developers.
lmao, buying it doesnt support the guy who made it
>I want to support the developers
then buy kero blaster instead
I wish flipwitch didn't do the thing most porn games do where the female enemies are cute monster girls and the male enemies are mascot characters or just plain gross. Give me my cute monster boys dammit
thoughts? thinkin about some of these
SF6 is great. Why octopath 1, I've only heard good things about the second one.
both are expensive but octopath 2 is double the price of octo 1 in my country
And that's a good thing, it's twice as good.
Octopath 2 does everything wrong that the first one did with maybe slightly better team talking to each other, but it's not worth double the price when it's basically more of the same. They both have really shitty dungeon and level design, and it's crazy how little they seem to care about that. What's the point of a good combat system when the dungeon is shit? Could just as well just be wave after wave of encounters and not even pretend they actually have a "dungeon." And it really wouldn't take much effort to do something like the Pheonix Cave from FFVI where it actually makes use of all 8 party members for dungeons. SE is just so fricking soulless in their executions, they never go above and beyond and then charge top dollar.
Rogue Trade beta tester and owner here, the game is not currently worth it. It's so fricking bug riddled and so many game breaking and save corrupting glitches I wouldn't recommend it until a year+ of bug fixes. It'll be cheaper then too.
Astlibra is amazing though
Astlibra is fantastic.
>Astlibra and Wandering Sword
Kinda based I'd say.
I really didn't get the appeal of ASTLIBRA last time I tried it, the combat felt awful. I'll probably try again later, but if I were you I'd play the demo first.
Both fantastic danmaku festival are amazing. Have fun
Good shit. Not a single bad game there. We can all tell you're a man of taste unlike 99.9% of the other reddit carts in here.

normalgays fricking hate it because the 4th chapter is an anime fanservice beach episode.
>sexy anime girls in my game? ahhh make it stop! save me sony!!
I'll most likely drop at least half of the big games to save some money. Stronghold looks cool, but its only 10% sale.
talos principle is ludo
I loved the first one, played the demo for the second one and it was really interesting.
Also loved the first one, I've heard mixed things about the follow up though.
Gohostrunner is fricking great. Haven't tried the second one yet, though.
Good games. Except re4.
I am not extremely excited about RE4 since I'm so sick of remakes and I love the original. But I did like the REmake2 and I've heard almost only good things about REmake4
I only played the original RE4 once as an adult and the remake feels really good.
get SOP deluxe/complete at greenmangaming for 28 bucks
He'll naw homie. Steam 4 lyfe
gmg gives you a steam key you moron
i'm probably replying to b8
Is the complete edition worth it? I usually always just buy the basegame.
>worth it
totally, they added a lot of content with the 3 dlcs, if you played nioh 1 and 2, you know you're getting your money's worth
r8
Literally who jap game.
Ror2 is bad.
Good game
Mediocre game. Would be good without the barf, fart, and burp jokes.
drop the ror2 dlc that shit is ass and can also be unlocked by just editing a .txt file lol
R8 & H8
The original UFO is still amazing. Good pick. Enjoy the atmosphere.
Posting the updated version
Synthetik is fun, but I don't wanna trust Shrike the israelite after he shoved an EULA into it and after the game started mercilessly unplayable lagging for me after a certain point.
>Paradox still won't put ck2 DLC for more than 50% off
Fricking c**ts, it's like they want people to pirate them.
Updated cart
Want to try Tales of games but dunno which one to play (preferably the ones that cost 5 bucks)
oops forgot picture
https://www.fanatical.com/en/pick-and-mix/bandai-namco-collection-build-your-own-bundle
You can get all the good ones in this bundle for $3.33 each.
which ones then? i prefer to buy them on steam
Berseria, Symphonia and Zestiria. Fanatical gives you steam keys, but I get you not wanting to use it since you won't be able to refund
which one you think is the best?
Symphonia > Berseria >>> Zestiria.
Thank you
Don't know what else to get.
I'm also interested. I may only buy II and if I like it i get III at the next sale. The first one seems not balanced very well
2 is probably the worst one honestly
if you only do one go for 3, though that will make it hard to stomach the ones before
Have you tried playing non Pretendo games?
when the frick will Armored Core 6 go on a sale?
Tape to Tape sucks anon, trust me. I'm a hockeygay
get rid of all that shit and pirate bg3
is darkest dungeon 2 any good?
It's not bad, but it's also not much like the original. It's less of a dungeon crawler inspired by rogue and more of a rogue lite lite. Less meta progression and a worse story too. Also more linear
Should I get a Steam Deck or not
I have one that I got when it first came out and I like it, mine is the LCD and it's already great, and I'm ordering an OLED for my wife
I'd get the 1 TB OLED one, $650 is a lot but being able to actually game without strapped to my desk seems good to me, have you ever done anything with it besides Steam games, I konw it can sort of function as a real PC but I'm guessing that doesn't work too well
I have emulators for everything up to and including the Switch, pirated games, and other random games like SRB2/Kart and MM8BDM. You can add any game to Steam in Desktop mode and then switch to Game mode, and from there launch it like a normal game (using proton or Bottles if necessary), and compeltely customize your controls as if it were a native title. I haven't used it as a full drop-in replacement PC but you certainly could if you wantes, just keep in mind you'll have to use Flatpaks or Brew by default to get new software because the Deck has an immutable root file system, so you can't use Pacman by default (you can choose to unlock the root filesystem or just do any stock Linux install if you want).
Also I would recommend the 512GB one and getting a 1 or 2TB microSD. The load speeds are fantastic on them because Linux doesn't use a cucked file system. This way you can save the internal storage only for games you want lightning fast speeds on, random software installs, and for the shader caches of games, and you'll save some money
Bought the OLED a month ago. I like it. Though, to be fair, I'm not a moron that thought it would be great for the latest AAA shit.
>steam deck dock isn't reducing in price for a sale
frick
how's bg3 co-op?
pretty fun with minor janks.
>party members are locked in with player and therefore cannot be interacted with by another player
>other players still cannot see trade menu
are there any good co op games for me and my fren?
I have 60 games on my wishlish and it's nothing but -25% and -10% lol
Has that glitch in RC that won't let you proceed past the demo been fixed yet?
Is Little Witch Nobeta worth it?
Don't buy dickyge they're all scams lol
what do you define as dickyge?
picrel for starters
I own 3 of these
>Potionomics
Is this worth?
havent played myself but it doesnt look good and ive literally never heard anything good about it lmao. c-teambros seem to just like anubia and not care for the game
What this guy said
>c-teambros seem to just like anubia and not care for the game
what makes you say theyre scams? only played nobeta frogun and hat in time but they were all pretty good
I'm memeing. I own 11 of 15 games shown myself. Over half of them 100%ed
oh ok im moronic
Forgot long live the queen and princess maker.
what is the fourth game?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/203510/Fortune_Summoners/
dicky baits.
yes. obviously varies but i've played nearly 3 times and havent gotten bored yet. combat is very fun and you can look up her skirt. kino

Elaborate on this. Frick mutts.
it's a game where you defend the beach from us soldiers

so is cyberpunk actually worth buying now always wanted to give it a try
Yes.
getting mixed results here
the base game is good
the dlc is garbage and not worth it
yeah real funny guys im just going to buy it
The base game is garbage, but it's fixed with the dlc.
It's great anon. It wasn't even that bad on release on PC
LMAO, The CDPR shill gayboys are back in full force I see.
>It wasn't even that bad on release on PC
Yes, it fricking was and they still haven't delivered with all of its original promises despite the amount of updates that have gone in. It's in a much better state than it was but it was fricking shit originally
It's worth giving it a go, especially with the dlc release and the amount of updates now.
No. It's a really boring game.
The Cyberpunk price is crazy, $30 for ONLY the base game and it's like 3 years old. Should be $25 max for base plus expansion to even think about it
Doesn't matter. That game has an endless barrage of shills. You can find them even ITT.
CDProjekt's shill department works overtime.
nothing on my wishlist is over 50%
fking hell they go for that out of sale
it doesnt count if the so called SALE is not good enough, is just trash
How is the GTA trilogy for real? I don't mind the different art style and that it lost its nostalgic charme from the OG games. But modern controls seem attractive to me.
don't know if they fixed, but it had a shit ton of bugs that the original games didn't have
Is the steam badge up? That's all I care about. I need dem levels
Hello? Please respond.
im moronic but if you mean the steam points shop seasonal badge, it has changed to christmas themed ones yeah
Hello? Am I shadowbanned?
Yes
Doesn't look like it. Is that even a thing here?
You are just the only moron who cares about badges on steam
ew, the max badge is a Steam Deck cookie. pass
This is going to be the first year I don't buy anything at the Winter Sale. Epic Game Store has a 33% off coupon that applies to your entire cart. I'm able to buy Hogwarts Legacy for only $25 there, and add Rogue Trader for a total price of only $52. It's a way, way better deal than buying on Steam.
Come on, you could at least try to be subtle with your baiting.
Why would you want to buy something on Steam if you can get it even cheaper on Epic? I can understand for stuff that's not on sale or not on Epic, like Caligula Effect, but when 2 of the hottest RPGs of the year are on Epic I'm going to pull the trigger there.
Brand Loyalty morons
>Brand Loyalty
>2 of the hottest RPGs of the year are on Epic
Way to reveal yourself as a marketer.
I'd like to get rogue trader too but you know how it is
>dlc fest incoming
>broken mess anyway
>costs money
This sale sucks.
this, wtf, i scanned over just 7 of my wishlist's games in the steamdb and they had a bigger discount at some point in the last year, often in completely random sales
How do you scan that shit automatically? I seriously hope you didn't check 1 by 1.
I've mostly been playing older games recently and I'm looking to get a few newer ones. which of these are worth their current price?
Signalis, Project Wingman, Neon White, Disco Elysium are great games with pretty good discount. I would definitely get those.
Citizen Sleeper, Case of the Golden Idol, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Hi-Fi Rush and Tunic are all good/great, but not on a great discount. If something specific interests you, get that but maybe wait if you are not going to play them right now.
I got Neon White and Project Wingman at full price with no regrets
Rollerdrome is very cool, but way too expensive on steam. You'd probably be able to get it for like a buck or two from some cd key site.
Depends on what you're in the mood for; the list, for the most part, is solid, no matter what you want. But maybe get a bit specific so you get a better recommendation.
In terms of bang, for your buck, aka discount, I would say:
Spectecular Sparky
Disco Elysium
Fight Knight
Maybe Rollerdrome if your into it.
on the fence about these three
1. Good
2. Who?
3. Memeshit for streamers
Loved Catherine.
Loved Ruiner even more (I hate top down shooters btw)
Catherine and Outer Wilds are top tier games but Ruiner is just ok which I think is worth 4 euros
Outer Wilds is in my top10 games of all time. Get the complete edition to get the excellent DLC (or get it later, its pretty standalone so you can play it later like I did).
Elder Ring made me hate any "delayed attacks" where the developer intentionally holds the anticipation frames of an attach to "gotcha" the player. Does this game have enough of those that it's an issue?
Idk, but it's optimized and built around upscalers so you shouldn't buy it. Game has abysmal native performance
>economies of scale mean you can sell more copies for less money if your game is very popular
>video game companies make games more expensive/only give 10% discounts at best when their games are popular.
Explain this
I want to cut this down to 100$. What should I remove?
AC Origins and Pathless are easy cuts. And Uncharted. But if you had them in your shopping cart, you must like them.
assassin's creed and uncharted, for starters
Anyone have Symphony of War? I'm looking at something to scratch the strategy itch until Unicorn Overlord comes out.
I have it. It was GOTY. No idea how the DLC is. But the devs are great and don't care about politics at all.
Any reccs for story heavy drpgs? I played Labyrinth of refrain and enjoyed it a good bit.
which COD game(s) have the best single player campaigns?
the only one I played was MW2 a long ass time ago
Have you tried not playing garbage games and expanding your taste beyond what a 12 yo boy would like?
I literally said I haven't played any of these games since mw2 more than a decade ago, can't you read dumb Black person
T. 13yo
okay buddy
I guess ill try one of the old blops thanks anon
1 2 4 WaW MW2 Blops Blops2
I haven't played Blops3 or Blops4 so I don't know anything about em, also heard infinite Warfare is pretty good but haven't played
Ghsots, AW and WW2 suck ass
this
. i have played them some time ago as I haven't played their campaigns as a kid. WaW, BO1, BO2 are great. MW3 is sersiouly mid unless you want to see the ending of MW2. haven't played the old ones.
I got
>Mad games tycoon 2 for $20
>Alien isolation season pass for $6.79
Thoughts?
You got robbed games tycoon 2 is worth 10 bucks or less
>Pixel remasters not on sale AGAIN
What the frick? They haven't been on sale since LAST winter sale, and now they're not even on sale for this one
What is SE's problem
Not a cart but is the Divinity series better on Steam or GOG?
Has anyone played Songs of Conquest? Is it possible to make your own wielder outside of the story campaigns? Like pick a name, a portrait, a sprite, that kinda thing.
Nothing special, I already have a lot of games to play
>tried project gorgon demo a few days ago
>thought it was interesting and saw last two sales it was 8 bucks, within the last 30 days
>figured Id wait and get it for 8 bucks on winter sale
>its 25
Welp, that was the only thing I was thinking about getting
more games to the backlog.
anything here I should avoid?
ZeroRanger is a masterpiece.
No clue about the others
yeah I've been wondering what's up with this game for a while, looks like a run of the mill shoot em up but people praise it a lot.
it's just a really cool game, not even including [redacted]
easy but fun shmup, nice art, great ost, etc
Second this anon
EDF!!! EDF!!!!! EDF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OHHH WE ARE THE VALIANT INFANTRY
Star of Providence is great. Trombone Champ is an obvious streamer bait meme game but it's still pretty fun
>it's literally the same shit that goes on sale for the same sale prices every time
saves me from buying anything Fromsoft I guess, but there's literally nothing for me this time.
A bunch of prices are down this time though? I didn't believe the guys who said it last time during November. Some games aren't on sale at the price to be fair.
Opinions on Mortal Shell?
I had it for free from Epic Store. I thought it was pretty boring throwback to Demon's Souls. Slower combat, bit boring enemy design/areas and I thought the enemy hitboxes/animations were not that well designed. Not a bad game, but not great
I wonder if epic will give anything good free this year. I guess destiny 2 legacy collection is their AAA serving for the year.
Some of the most baffling mechanics I've seen in any game ever. The shelling mechanic or whatever is moronic
No that the dust has settled, was Sunbreak any good? I enjoyed Rise as a videogame, but not so much as a MH game. Wondering if it's worth 15 bucks.
definitely worth $15
i've been sick for a bit, my sleep schedule is totally fricked, usually in a fair amount of pain. give me some vidya recommendations to help pass time until medicine starts working.
It's not much, but it's what I can get
Do you have a wishliist? Wanna send you some games.
lol they fricked up the discount and pricing on crysis again
Is this a good deal? I don't get it.
the bug is it shows -95% discount on wishlist but in store page it has -65%
Shows up at 10 euros here
Haha neat I bought it, thanks anon. I love price glitches
Great catch, got it, checked the price again and it's at $10.49. Top kek.
FRICK why I wasted time messaging friends about this before buying it FRICK

Same. My whole area's fricking rangebanned on mobile because people kept posting Cheese Pizza. Every so often I'd try to post here i'd get a random ban notification saying as much.
Why do you live near Ganker users?
And more importantly why do you live among pedophiles?
Just, unironically, go on a hunting spree.
any good character action games like dmc
Is this a good buy.
Asscreed in 2023? Come on
Depends. If you have played every single other nu-AC game and liked them, maybe. If you haven't, buy the earlier ones instead since they are better and cheaper.
I last played brotherhood and found it barely okay.
Then I would stay away. Nu-AC is different, but not necessarily better. Its extremely bloated, with nu-RPG numbers everywhere to make you think you are making progress.
>139,99 merkels for ubislop
Do normalgays really
What are some lowspec sandbox-esque games games I could relax in? Not talking about building and survivalcrafting necessarily, just making a character and immersing myself in an open world.
Why are you all buying games that are barely 30% off
What the frick is wrong with you
See:
I need dem steam points for badges
Better than 10% or 15%. 50% might be two years down the line.
how is re village? wasn't into 7 past the beginning house
Pretty great. It has RE4 vibes when it comes to pacing and style. Its more serious (and in 1st person), but I enjoyed my time with it fully. But I also liked RE7.
200 euros when you could get all that for free (apart from titanfall 2 for the mp) is funny.
I pirated Rift Apart and it was fricking dull.
I have seen worse
love me hades
Should I get Devil Daggers or Hyper Demon?
If you are not the type of person to chase high-scores, don't get either. I can kinda see the idea behind the games, but they are definitely not for me.
I just wanted a game where I can get in and shoot some homies without any hassle
try chinder chagger devil dagger
>managed to earn 15$ through the whole year selling cards and shit.
> if i sell just a few more cards I can afford this cart, will last me the whole 2024
if there's any real santa out there [email protected] any game will be appreciated and played. im really that poor
My Black person, if you're poor why don't you just pirate?
cuz most places are infested with cryptominers regardless of the place and shit, and my poor 1050 can't handle anymore
Fitgirl repacks are safe anon, just make sure to go to the website that has .site in the url and not the mirrors (which are actual scams and will infect your pc).
I might be poor
I might be a Black person
I might be a spic
but I'll never trust a troony.
I rather stay broke and play shit games on steam. Not for wienersucking gabe, but for staying true to my principles.
Frick fit"girl"
It's obviously a bunch of autists hiding behind a girl avatar, there's no references to trannies anywhere on the website
>he thinks fitgirl is one person

your Hispanic brother is right. I was in your same position years ago. when I got my first job ever (at age 28) I bought every game I wanted on steam with my first paycheck and still had enough money from it to buy the new games I wanted in the following years.
I could buy a random card from you on steam
Como odió a los chilenos.
I managed to get Mass Effect Legendary Steam key for $5.99 at Amazon but it looks like there are no more keys

It's embarrassing how much you guys spend on games I got 4 games for less than $18

I need a redpill on this game
I sorta enjoyed PoE but got turned off by MMish stuff pretty quickly
it is fun 🙂
sounds pretty alright, cheers
thanks as well, can you tell me more about that? do you mean that there is just one that is the best? or that every skill is just a reskin?
it's kinda boring. literally only 1 skill to use even though there is an entire skillbar
It's more casual and that makes it a good experience. There's also a ton of content with DLC. Story and atmosphere is really nice too.
one of the best ARPG's out tbh
NFS Heat for £3 is a bargain
how is contraband police?
Only good if you are a federal agent in training.
anyone got that page that recommends games based on the ones you've already played
Steam.com
kidna weird that they still didn't acquire this domain
https://store.steampowered.com/recommender/
thanks
Where the frick are the games for spreading sickness and suffering? Holy shit is infectonator and plague inc all I have for this itch?
>post cart bros
So much fun to overspend on games you'll leave in your library and never touch, MATCH ME Ganker!
Why are these threads never non-shilled? Just post shit like "good deal here" or ask if a game is worth it. "POST YOUR CARTS" from marketers make these threads less organic.
Posting your cart is a non-verbal way of asking of these games are worth it. I reckon it also helps by being visual so someone can tell at a glance what games you're buying.
I keep asking about this and that game and nobody replies to me, presumably because nobody plays these games.
So are Elden ring and Cyberpunk worth at those prices?
That's what I'm thinking. I want Elden Ring to be lower, but it's still good for what Elden Ring is right?
Yeah pretty much.
Good price for elden ring if youre the idea of open world dark souls. Never played cyberpunk.
Fanatical has Elden Ring for another 6-7% off, that's a cool $5 saved or whatever.
Thought it was pretty boring but if you're going to get it anyway, Fanatical is a legit vendor. Remember to use ITAD for deals, not just steam storefront.
https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/elden-ring
elden ring is worth it. cyberpunk not really, maybe at like 20 dollars it would be.
So I bought almost 100 bucks worth of games. What do I do with all these points?
You can level up. That will give you booster packs, which you can sell and get real money from. Then you buy more games with that. Higher your level, hogher the chances of booster packs. Lvl 200 chads get a pack weekly.
give them to me
but theres really nothing to do with them unless you dont already have the seasonal badge tbh
If you make some brainless meme review in an upcoming game that is going to get panned or praised, you'll make 10-100x more points than what you get from purchases. Basically points are just for profile decor. Thank fricking god custom avatars were introduced in 2007, otherwise israeliteben would've treated them like backgrounds restricted to badge rewards or steampoints.
Remember when Valve actually gave a shit and did something fun for Summer and Winter sales?
They didn't even try this year.
They're giving out trading cards for clicking though the discovery queue.
Is Prey (2017) any good? Its currently on sale for 3 bucks and I've been on an immersive sim kick lately
Prey is decent but Prey: Mooncrash is godtier.
If you've got nothing better to do.
It's a game.
If you like Imsims then you'll love Prey, it's not quite Arx Fatalis tier but the alien powers let you frick around to no end.
Personally I'm always just kinda disappointed in imsims since I don't care about stealth and the action encounters are lame, but even then just one-shotting everything with the souped-up shotgun was kinda fun.
Great game, get the bundle with moon rash which is an excellent little
rogue lite campaign.
It's a real shame there will never be a good sequel. Frick Bethesda for gutting arkane.
Please recommend me some JRPGs? I just need some games that are comfy and I can just turn my brain off. Budget is $48 since I spend all my money last month getting a 4k monitor and I want to take advantage of that too.
Xanadu Next.
tales of symphonia
I cant reccomend shit if I don't know what you have already played you utter moron.
I can reccomend you chrono trigger but you're gonna say you already played it.
I can reccomend you xenoblade but you will say the same.
Just frick off with these blank requests.
my library is already satisfactory to me. i'm just interested in old games.
I might be interested in the rimworld DLC, but I'm not interested in paying what they're charging for them
>I might be interested in the rimworld DLC, but I'm not interested in paying what they're charging for them
Same, which is why I creamapi it.
Prince of Persia increasing forced combat encounters and decreasing neat platforming with every sequel was a little heartbreaking.
are these any good?
no
Pony Island is cute little game. Its not long, but it was fun enough.
You're missing Inscryption.
I loved it and that's why I'm looking for more from the developers
I heard there was some free DLC that makes it into an actual videogame instead of a piece of ARG shit by expanding Leshy's game. Is that true?
Magicka or Magicka 2?
Magicka.
Magicka 2 was made by the publisher after they fired the original devs.
Why do people care for Summer/Winter sales when the individual publisher or holiday sales in between them usually provide better prices? Last time the two seasonal sales were good is when they had flash sales, back in 2015.
Because Valve coniditioned people into giving a frick about it a decade ago.
But now that's over.
To be honest; I thought this "buy games to redeem dlc in other games" shit was israelitey as frick. I remember I bought a couple of games in the 2010 for the sake of getting a squid treasure hat for TF2. Decided to just stay with the 2nd tier hat around $75 because I didn't want to shell out $300-$400+ to get a hat.
It did make me buy games that I may or may not have bought otherwise, but getting free shit for getting an achievement on Killing Floor during the holiday updates was pure bliss.
True, Steam was significantly smaller back then (which was a good thing pre-greenlight/steamdirect). I already had Killing Floor, pirated New Vegas (since GFWL was tacked onto it), didn't bother with CoD for obvious reasons, I bought RUSE which felt like a lackluster game for $30, enjoyed Just Cause 2 though. Also got two of those indie games for around $7.50 which kind of sucked.
I need points for badges.
I just look at what's on sale.
It's really not much. Maybe if hogwarts legacy actually went on deep discount I'd get it but that never happens anymore.
Yea or Nay?
Nay, Dishonoured 2 is bundle fodder, Neptunia is trash and Hollow Knight is fine I guess.
sure
Hollow Knight is good, I thought it was just fine when it was like my only real metroidvania, but having tried several more it turns out to be actually in the upper echelon.
Are these ever worthwhile?
not from my experience. ive only tried it from g2a but you get either shovelware or a $4 game that died years ago like 9 times out of 10
no, i got 10 "gold" or diamond keys, were like 7$ from 50 or something, only garbage
I guess those might have some AAA games that are always on sale and like 2€ tops
If you just got into PC gaming and missed lots and lots of sales from last years, maybe it's not the worst deal, but still, just buying the games you want would be better
Google it out, check what other people have been getting
No, I've never gotten anything worthwhile from them, always regret it.
You get 15 trash games that are shareware disc tier, 4 bad games you wouldn't bother installing and 1 okay game that you either already have or is in a genre you don't care about.
I like Fanatical but the mystery key bundles are a total gyp.
How old are you? What do you think it's in there? Baldurs gate 3?
Come on. Go to steam and filter games by user reviews or by price. Check the lowest prices or the games with least reviews. Now, see that useless shovelware? That's behind the MYSTERY BOXES
Those bundles are idiot bait.
Sites like Fanatical use them to get rid of game keys that nobody is buying.
1 out of 1000 keys is a key for a 30 dollar game so they use that as bait to get people to spend money on shit that's mostly shovelware. And even the so called "Premium" bundles are just rejects from old Humble or Groupees bundles.
How long until the shit indie devs invade the threads shilling their “hidden gems”
How is sekiro comopared to other souls likes?
Worth thirty bucks?
Was also thinking about hitman 3 or starfield.
it's pretty different from the others i thought, felt faster at least. absolutely worth $30, though it is a dogshit sale price
Yeah, but it's been on my wishlist for years and i don't think it's ever gone below 50% off.
It does, just never played a hitman game before, figured the formula of "find target kill target sneakily" might get stale after a few hours?
>figured the formula of "find target kill target sneakily
They're less "sneak" and more "don't draw suspicion". Its less about lining up the perfect shot, and more about setting up an elaborate chain of events that lead to the targets death. They're like huge puzzle boxes of moving parts and AI patterns and reactions, and the game gives you total freedom on how you approach the situation. I think any given map probably has 2 dozens legitimate ways to kill a target and countless ways to frick with the systems. Taken as a whole, Hitman 1-3 is one of the best stealth games ever made.
Thanks, guess i'll try it out.
Shenmue is pretty mellow if you have time to burn.
Hitman 3 is definitely worth it if it still includes 1 and 2 like it used to.
Wasteland 3 is super boring
Sea of Stars is a snoozefest
Wasteland 3 is fine but not a deep experience.
Wartales is super slow to play through and does not change how It's played from beginning to end.
If you're okay with that It's alright.
Lots of latinos on here huh
Why is Rocktar so greedy? 40 is as low as they go for a 14 year old game.
30 kangaroobucks here
Dang that's more than 50% cheaper and a reasonable Sale price.
glad it got ported to the switch
>steam deck dock isn't getting a sale drop, since it already shed $10 for the oled release
okay fine whatever
>servers are too busy to verify the order
FRICK
In terms of value for money, how am I doing lads?
Mortal Shell is trash, better save those 3 merkels
Thanks lads
What the other anon said. Mortal shell is pretty bad. Good picks otherwise
Mortal shell is bad.
No, it isn't.
I might remove Hrot. I liked it, but compared to Dusk is pretty average. It had interesting style and setting, but it got way too silly and haphazard with its design as it went along. And the price is not great yet.
>Squadrons is 2 bucks
Damn. I might get this, if only to try out the VR. Its weird that some of the bigger publishers have good deals (Capcom is pretty decent at using sales for their older games etc) while the indies have like 10-25% off.
>Its weird that some of the bigger publishers have good deals (Capcom is pretty decent at using sales for their older games etc) while the indies have like 10-25% off.
It's not weird when you think that the major publishers have quite a few established franchises whereas indies generally have one project to their belt.
Then again stuff like My Summer Car not dropping its price despite being in 'early access' for years is israeli homosexualry at it finest.
Pretty steep asking price for Hrot compared to everything else there when it's also the weakest game there.
here's everything on my wishlist with a discount of 70% or greater. what do I get?
lego movie video game is shit
Blasphemous.
Don't get STALKER. Great game, but STALKER Anamoly is free and is a huge autistic passion project.
What Remains of Edith Finch is a game you will play once and it takes around 2-3 hours to beat. Just watch a video.
Blasphemous is based. Get that.
Metro is great.
You kinda need to have played the earlier ones though.
It depends on what you're in the mood for, but I'll vouch for
LEGO games (you can't really go wrong with any; they're all the same baseline)
Gurumin
Metro Exodus
Blasphemous
20XX
Braid is more than worth its price so you might as well. I'm not sure if you'll like it based on your other listed games though. You've got varied taste to say the least.
20XX is good, but be aware that it has a sequel 30XX which is better in every way (but will not be on for nearly as big of a sale).
Both games scratch the Mega Man itch which is great because we all know Capcom sure isn't going to do it, ever.
i can only get one but im deciding between lords of the fallen, talos principle 2 and rogue trader
>tfw can't check prices because everyone else is checking prices
Any minute now.
Is Cult of the Lamb worth it?
No, I refunded that garbage. As deep as a puddle. Flash games have more meat than that shitty one trick pony game. Huge disappointment after all the shilling.
No. Every mechanic in it is underdeveloped and bad and it has dogshit pacing on top.
I want a fun action game that's like Ninja Gaiden, so with some depth, but not braindead like the NieR games.
Cyberpunk is STILL 30 bucks at 50% off, what the frick? I'm not paying 30 dollarydos for a game when I can get 5+ slightly older games for the same price are you insane
I remember there was a game that was like star wars battlefront 2s space battles. Do people still try to make games like that?
Maybe ace combat.
thoughts and opinions?
Why the frick are you buying Like A Dragon Gaiden? Get it on gamepass. Otherwise great picks, System Shock is fricking amazing.
All gotys
Don't listen to goypass shills
Hello 🙂
No More Heroes is a very bad port, fundamentally broken in a lot of ways, prone to crashing and honestly there's a reason people just say to emulate the Switch port instead.
Probably remove No More Heroes. Dogshit PC port. Try emulating.
please help me widdle down
Remove Moron Kombat 1 and Shenmue. And maybe even Risk of Rain, I dont know how much they changed from the original.
Drop BG3, it's not even a complete game and it'll go on much deeper discounts in 3/4 months.
drop mk1, legends of heroes, shenmue
mk1 will probably have game+dlc content bundle for $20 in a year or two
whats wrong with trails of cold steel?
does shenmue have a comfy factor at all?
>whats wrong with trails of cold steel?
complete waste e of time
Shenmue is a meme.
Mirtal kombat is just plain bad.
Mortal kombat is such a terrible series and the latest one is the worst of the bunch.
Catherine and BG3 are great.
Don't expect a sale for BG3 soon, the other anon is moronic.
Lad, do you really think you want to play Balding Gays 3? Like seriously, do you REALLY? All those awful characters, cringe dialog, ear-raping voice acting, man-faced she-beasts, shallow waifuhomosexualry, and for THAT fricking price no less. Think about it, lad. Think real hard.
my personal game of the year and yes i played ac6, hifi rush, mario wonder, totk, re4r and most of the other "good" games. it's 100% worth it, the only case against it would be to grab it for free instead.
Then I suggest you don't ask for advice, for you are impervious to the good kind.
i'm not that anon, just reinforcing that bg3 is really good.
I saw BG3 gameplay the other day. It looked like if a table top game and the PS2 had a baby. What a joke
i mean it follows tabletop rules and is based on a table top game so that's kind of it's thing.
do zoomers really associate isometric games with korea now?
>do zoomers really associate isometric games with korea now?
yeah, not sure what other country would play something this dumb in current year
i know diablo 4 wasn't a great game but don't act like it doesn't exist!
Some people have actually managed to brainwash themselves on the Ganker shitposting to make them think that BG3 is bad.
It is, and I'm not going to listen to a moron like you trying to claim otherwise.
You dont play and enjoy videogames. Enjoy your cucked moron
It is bad. Have you actually seen the gameplay? Looks like a Korean PC games
If you dont like turn based RPGs, its not for you. You dont have to act like a braindead moron for not liking a genre or style of game. You can just say you dont like it
wow the best game in recent memory (PREY) is only 2.99
buy PREY, bros
>League of Legends or WoW picture
Opinion ignored
you know I speak the truth about prey
Despite troony of legends he's right. Prey 2017 is truly a great game. A real successor to system shock 2.
why are games put on sale for one event and aren't for the other
whats the point
Sales are opt-in so they probably have data suggesting when sales are good and not.
Should I?
Yeah
>Pounds
>Steam in italian
As surprising as it may be, I'm an Italian who lives in UK
>I'm an Italian who lives in UK
Do people think you're one of the invaders or are you one those white Italians?
I don't give a shit, but Brits deserve to be invaded, can't wait to go back to Italy
No, I am working hard, follow the law and pay the stupid taxes.
hmm? Are you the white Meloni looking ones or no?
You're not me, frick off Black person
As above, I don't give a shit about politics either
>I don't give a shit about politics either
>frick off Black person
hmmm, you're brown then
no, what a huge waste of cash
Steam is throttling download speeds because you frickers keep buying shit, why are you downloading 20 games at the same time
>another shitty sale
It's real tiring. So many games already half a decade old with no playerbase to be found are selling for more than 50% off.
Thoughts? Mainly on the fence about ctrl alt ego. I've heard good things about it but imsim twitter tends to be a bit on the biased side.
Cogmind or Caves of Qud?
Both are basically the same price.
Both are completely different games too. Depends if you're feeling a stealthy and punishing mood or a quite open world mood. I would say you'll eventually play both if you like roguelikes anyways.
Qud is fun.
For the first time in my life I work, have enough money saved up and can literally afford all the games I have ever wanted.
>Now I don't want to play video games anymore
Why do I feel like this, bros?
Your life is not your own.
Do what I do and play light-hearted weeb games.
Ever considered that you ALWAYS hates videogames to begin with?
You literally believe you're above videogames right now. Why are you here?
I just pirate my own stuff, guys like you purchasing games are losers
Same but problem appears when i wanna play multiplayer lol
Frick, this is so good.
so true weebro
I play a lot of these. Best thing for mindless after-work gaming and also they help with feels and depression a lot. Hilarious too, I laugh with the suggestive sexy scenarios and dialogue.
There's Returns, Double Peace, 2, a Castlevania spin-off and a VR only game. Am I getting it right? Is this as low as the price gets?
I saw the videos on Youtube and 2 seems the best.
I am questioning my decision to get the complete edition (costumes dlc) because I don't think I will use the new costumes too much or at all.
I will use the swimsuits and the school uniforms, maybe 1-2 lewd costumes for the teachers but I wouldn't bother.
I got 2 for $1.34 just now.
Good. It's great. I played an hours and laughed a lot. These games get dismissed immediately by most for seemingly being for pedo perverts but they are the best guys' comedies really.
Always get in the mood for indie-flavored stuff during the holidays.
Cocoon also seems neat, but that's probably worth waiting on.
>the historically rewritten city
All of these are pretty good. Signalis, Hi-Fi Rush and Cocoon were all on gamepass so you can just buy it for a month and finish all 3.
Is Mortal Shell worth it at 90% off?
Eh. It's not a souls-like, it's an action game, there's frick all for progression, and I don't think it's a very good action game. Some people disagree.
i played it and it was very eh and forgettable. not a bad game, but not a good game. just a game.
Wow even the discounts on digital frickin games are dogshit this year; I thought it was just durable goods. I really think it's over.
Physical game deals are much better than digital ones now unless you're going to 3rd party key resellers.
Biden economy.
>nioh 2 is the same price as wo-long
is koei tecmo on crack
Nioh 2 is peak so there's no point in underselling yourself.
It's also real fricking old.
Exactly. No one has topped Nioh 2 in this long? They deserve their spot. Nioh used to be known as super good too before Nioh 2, nowadays people just think Nioh is alright. That's how good Nioh 2 is.
Stranger of Paradise is better than Nioh tbqhwym
Not him but I platinum'd NIOH1 on PS4 ages ago.
I bought like a year ago nioh 2 on steam.
I bought just today strangers of paradise.
Should I play nioh2 before SOP?
They're very different games by virute of the SOUL SHIELD mechanic, but the job switching and fan service in stranger of paradise elevates it above Nioh 2, though it is slightly watered down.
I liked Wo-Long and that was watered down Nioh. I think I'll like SoP too. I've come to realize I just like Team Ninja action games and I dislike many parts of Nioh.
jack's game is different enough from nioh 1 and nioh 2 that i'd go with nioh 2 first just because you'll have the muscle memory from nioh still. having to unlearn the muscle memory from nioh with sop only to have to relearn it afterwards would be a bit annoying to me.
Thanks chads
Is lies of P worth it?
Not yet
lies of frickin peepeepoopoo more like this game is a load of frickin donkey shit
haha
Depends. Its one of the best games of the year, but the price is still pretty high. Depends what you value.
>Italy
Meloni's Melonis
strongly agree
>ywn rest your snout at her melons
would you shag the hag?
>trails in the sky sc
>released 8 years ago
>only 35% off
I don't get it
The games age like fine wine.
Xsneed trying to milk whatever money they still can out of them since they lost the Trails license
Honestly, just pirate them all since it's not like NISA is any better
Should I get a bunch of smaller things or Baldurs Gate 3?
Do you have friends to play heldivers with?
They aren't optional.
You could remove some things in the smaller pile and afford BG3.
Ultimately it comes down to if you're going to play BG3. BG3 is 1000% worth it if you put the time in, but if you play 5 hours and then put it down for something else shiny it isn't.
>people are asking for advice on which games they should/shouldn't get when some of those games are on GoG etc and literally free
lmao collector gays are braindead goys
>so much on my list isnt on sale or was cheaper during the summer sale
these sales really do get worse and worse
Thanks bandai for lowering the discount on Naruto games !
>75% all fricking time
>just 50% this time goy
Emulating that shit
the only game im considering buying is chivalry 2 , for 5 dollars from a key site
seems like itll be fun to jump in and frick around once in a while
im just salty they n ever fixed archer bindings problem after 3 years
Holy SHIT Final Fantasy is STILL 30 fricking dollars at 50% off. I've had this on my wishlist for 5 years atleast.
kek, yeah it's never going down.
but such quality?
Also you can pirate it.
I was hoping for a good deal on pixel remasters, but its the same old shit. 90 leafbucks for all six games is a ripoff.
A-alright well here I go...
>capital a followed by lowercase a
hate that cuck
Wait, is that not correct?
Those are all good.
just cause is a meme game not really worth it, but youll get 3 dollars of fun out of it before uninstalling im sure
>youll get 3 dollars of fun out of it before uninstalling
Yup only reason I'm getting it. That's a bag of chips
Based cart overall anon. I liked all those games.
DO NOT skip the Just Cause mecha DLC. It is the best Iron Man game in existence.
I think you only get the jetpack (Iron Man mode) with that dlc.
I mean Sky Fortress first if you can get just one, but really the mech one adds a lot too.
recommend me fun multiplayer games to make friends with or interact with people at the least so I don't have to be alone anymore, the bigger server/lobby size the better
I started learning Russian recently. Can anyone recommend some good Russian games on sale (or games with good Russian localizations). I already have stalker.
Total Hunger
Can't find it on Steam. Link?
Used to play Elite dangerous a lot. Is the Odyssey expansion worth it now? I remember people said it was shit when it came out but maybe it's ok now
my friend says its ok now
gud sale
>Can of Wormholes
This game looks interesting, will wait until price goes down.
>Show only historical lows on wishlist
>22 out of 544
Fricking hell. Sales suck for a long time now. I don't even have that much games that came out this year on my wishlist.
>>22
I'm surprised you got that many tbqthwy
honestly just this
there's nothing good this year, just like last year and the one before that
sounds like a you-problem, gaylord
>there's nothing good
>just this
>Mass Effect
Buddy, look for another hobby.
don't give EA money you dumb Black person
Do they ever do flash sale type things for christmas? Haven't bought anything in 10 years and it seems most things were cheaper during the last christmas sale.
What should a normie 21 year old (zoomerz) who hasn't played many single player story games buy?
Too wide question.
Corpse Party
Does it have gameplay?
Sort of, you just kinda walk around and discover stuff and try not to get ghosted
Does buying keys frick over both valve and the developer?
No, they already made money, that's how the keys got there.
Are any of the Naruto Shippuden games worth ?
Best games for torturing yourself in the bullet hell genre until you GET GOOD?
honestly which one of these is worth getting?
ive played the 1st talos principle and i enjoyed it. I dont know too much about the 40k universe except the wiki article i read about the warp
I've heard Rogue Trader is pretty buggy.
My advice for "getting into" Warhammer is to just pick a genre you like and get the game for that. Lot's of x-com slop the past few years turned me off but I really liked Space Marine and Boltgun. I'm guessing you like CRPGs if you're planning on buying this?
>CRPGs if you're planning on buying?
yeah, but i enjoy puzzle games too
2022 and 2023 were absolutely garbage years for gaming. Not getting anything this year, again. I'll wait for Rogue Core, Killing Floor 3 and Light No Fire, but I'm 100% sure KF3 will be at least just as garbage as KF2. Rogue Core will probably be repetitive. Light No Fire is the only game I'm actually interested on getting.
2023 had a lot of fun games. You might just be jaded (or play only certain genres).
>2023 had a lot of fun games
2022 had Elden Ring, 2023 had Hogwarts Legacy and Baldur's Gate 3. That's it. Everything else is either meh/10 or too niche to mention.
Why the frick do you keep bring up Hogwarts Legacy? That is not even in the top 20 of 2023.
Yeah I forgot to mention Starfield, The Day Before, Diablo IV, Redfall and Payday 3. lol
people only ever bought skyrim just so they could play with mods, no one ever liked the game for its story
