What kinds of porn games?
Ren'py games of course work natively, but RPG maker games don't really go well with with wine.
I've tried a pirated version of Honeyselect 2 on my main Linux PC, but I can't get the translation patch working.
>I've tried a pirated version of Honeyselect 2 on my main Linux PC, but I can't get the translation patch working.
Try downloading a prepatched version, or fumble around with Bottles or Lutris until you manage to install it successfully.
As someone who managed to get koikatsu and aa2 working it's work. Guides didnt help just fricking around until I nailed it. I think the only thing I truly couldn't get to work is the ea store version of red alert 2
Mostly games with gamepad-specific controls like Rogue Trader and a ton of PS2/Nintendo emulation.
I'm a cheeky c**t though so i use my 'eck as a home server when it's docked.
google chrome to watch pirate sports streams easily
vlc to access shared media folders from my PC which is way better than streaming it
mortal combat 11 and various fighting games on the couch
i'm conflicted on buying one
i heard it has compatibility issues for a good portion of games which is ridiculous for a thing called a Steam Deck which should play games on fricking steam
that's like getting a switch and it doesn't play some games from the virtual console market
and also the hardware not being as great as it should be for its asking price and may present issues if you want to play fighting games
you say perfectly but i've heard people say they had to turn down or even off features like resolution or certain kinds of filtering, basically not the full power hardware experience
damn you take this really personally like an autistic little child
that's fine, i'm okay with saving money on not buying something that is weaker than it should be, much like your body
What are you even talking about? Every single game just werks out of the box with an even better experience possible from setting fps, tdp and window stretch from the side menu. Only games that don't work are multiplayer anticheat shooters that don't play well on a portable device to begin with.
Not trying to sound mean but are you moronic? Maybe you should tell your mom about this website so she can tell you why it's not a good place for you. Try neopets
You should wait until the Steam Deck 4 at least. Maybe by then you'll learn how to use a computer

Steam Deck 4, good idea
maybe it'll actually have enough power to run its then current games at full and have fuller compatibility

oh no what ever will i do about that except say toodles to you
if i wanted to play nonmodern games i could just as well stick to my current setups rendering any Steam Deck pointless
so now i'm being told not to even bother with the 4th(?) iteration of the steam deck, very well then because i don't mind not spending money unlike other people who buy 10 million games just to have an expansive catalog

Age of mythology and halo MCC right now. Probably gonna go back to either aoe2 or ai war next and keep playing halo on and off when I don't have the energy to focus on an rts
I've been trying to learn Helldivers 2 on it but that game honestly sucks balls on a controller. BUILT FOR MKBWC.
Why the frick does it take so much power to run though? It's like the only game I've played that actually goes under 3 hours on my oled deck. I haven't messed with tdp but I like the 40fps settings I've got on it and I don't wanna lose it.
once Steam Deck 2 comes out I might buy it. I think that is the point when its matured enough for Valve to aggressively push it
I dont need it that much right now either. It would be just cool to play some game that works well for handhelds on it
This is a solid choice. All umpcs really aren't there yet with performance. Until they make a chip on par with a Series S with a die shrink it won't be strong enough for a consistent 60fps in most games.
I am also thinking about games really going for that Steam Deck verification. Persona 3 Reload for example was launch title. If Valve starts seriously competing with the Deck as a console then that will happen on all games on Steam basically
Verified games are a complete meme to me until they all actively support 16:10 aspect ratio. Right now that's the biggest design flaw with the Deck for me. Most games don't support it so you're forced to stretch the screen to get rid of black bars, but at least most new games are starting to support it.
black bars taking 1/10 of your vertical screen really bothers you that much?? yeah having the whole 16:10 is preferable obviously but that's pretty moronic calling that a "design flaw", the content itself is completely unaffected you're just getting a little less screen like no shit man that's been something to accept for 16:10 since forever
i don't have one but thinking about it. i don't have a gaming device right now, just playing light stuff on my integrated graphics. are you guys happy with your purchases? what's the experience like? i don't really want to commit to a heavy/short battery gaming laptop so deck seems perfect.
I've owned both lcd and oled. Get the oled deck 1000% but just the 512gb one. I love mine personally. Added an entirely new element to pc gaming for me.
How did you get that price, is it used or something? I'm pretty sure I paid $350 for my 64gig deck but I bought like a year ago. If they're that cheap I'd buy a second to have as a backup
pretty much everything i play nowadays except for the newest AAA games that wouldn't run well on it. just finished dbz kakarot a couple of days ago, right now i'm playing cassette beasts and replaying danganronpa. will probably start astlibra revision soon, maybe disgaea 1 too.
What do you play it on? I could never find a launcher I like and so when I want to play doom I do it on my quest or on vita. Doom in VR is baller, playing through 64 now
Oh ok I know what you're talking about, the updated originals, same as how they're setup on switch. I couldn't get the controls how I liked them which really frustrated me but I can't remember what specifically gave me issues. I grew up with gba doom so I like using r1/l1 to strafe and dpad movement, which fortunately I can do very well on my vita. Played pistol start through plutonia on ultra violence, what a challenge
You might be able to set them up like that on the Steam version, not sure though. Haven't played Plutonia, haven't heard many positive things about it. Finished NRFTL recently and replayed it immediately because it was so good. I'm late on the Doom wads, I've only played the originals, including 64 so it's finally time I've tried out the expansions and fan made wads.
Oh man I love plutonia. It has some bullshit sections like an invisible bridge you'll spend forever trying to find on an early level but when it's good it's excellent, probably right beneath doom 1 for me. Pirate doom is also wonderful. There's a newer mod in the steam version of official downloads and I'm blanking on the name, real good and real hard. They have some decent stuff on there for you already
Just got the last achievement in Persona 3 Reload today, got right to the end for the all social links achievements but can't be bothered to fight the final boss again unless The Answer DLC rewards you for main game status this time.
d-pad's definitely been a small complaint especially with the oled model. personally i find it a bit too loud and squishy. I've even heard of people replacing the oled dpad with the lcd dpad.
Oh I didn't realize the LED dpad was different. I did check into replacement but the teardown to get to the dpad is just annoying enough to me that I'll live with it. Might slap some grip tape on it or something jank like that.

use Proton via Steam. It works perfectly.

Granblue relink
Dont know why its marked as not playable on deck
So it does play well on the Deck?
It runs at a consistent 30 fps.
might get one of these for JRPGs as i think playing those on a handheld just feels better than a big screen
forza horizon from time to time, recently disc room too
will probably play ff7 (ps1) soon
The entire Yakuza series with Family Guy playing in the background
Tales of Arise mostly
Mostly games with gamepad-specific controls like Rogue Trader and a ton of PS2/Nintendo emulation.
I'm a cheeky c**t though so i use my 'eck as a home server when it's docked.

Cope seethe and dilate you console gaming plen
You're clearly extremely clueless when it comes to tech so just buy a switch

Mine serves as a very nice and expensive paperweight.
Luigis Mansion, never got to play it when it came out on gamecube
I've been trying to learn Helldivers 2 on it but that game honestly sucks balls on a controller. BUILT FOR MKBWC.

IGPUs need 3-5 years, so still lots of waiting.
mcc with mods

can SteamDeck run pirated gaymes?
It can, but not without effort.
nothing it's collecting dust
Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005)
Still waiting on mine to get delivered.
>$214
that's dirt cheap.
How did you get that price, is it used or something? I'm pretty sure I paid $350 for my 64gig deck but I bought like a year ago. If they're that cheap I'd buy a second to have as a backup

Persona 5 Royale
Doom No Rest For The Living on UV. Shit is amazing.
What do you play it on? I could never find a launcher I like and so when I want to play doom I do it on my quest or on vita. Doom in VR is baller, playing through 64 now
The Steam version for now. It also has a few other wads you can download from the in game menu. Switching wads is very easy.
Oh ok I know what you're talking about, the updated originals, same as how they're setup on switch. Palworld with my frens
about to beat p3 reload
been playing granblue relink and drg survivor
I love my deck so much bros
what settings do you use for P3R ?
proton experimental I think, no relfections and low shadows gets me locked 60fps
thanks
Anyone else hate the fricking d-pad on the deck? Just the glossy slippery texture is shit.
d-pad's definitely been a small complaint especially with the oled model. personally i find it a bit too loud and squishy. I've even heard of people replacing the oled dpad with the lcd dpad.

any poorgays playing p3fes? widescreen and hd mods make this pretty enjoyable.
Forget what games you're playing your deck. I wanna know WHERE you're playing your deck.
