I'll wait until yakuza 8 is at least half price
I tried getting into Yakuza and burnt out at Yakuza 0 Chapter 6. Is there a similar game with less fricking talking
The whole game is just talking and minigame
Combat is just a repetitive minigame
There are a few actual "levels" but half of them are poorly coded and conceived of stealthshit
Just ignore the main game and play the minigames you enjoy, by chapter 6 I think you unlock pretty much everything
Maybe beat the main story so you can switch freely back and forth between the regions in NG+ since some minigames are only in one or the other region
and after the investment minigame with Kiryuu you can visit the real estate thing to swap security guys every now and then and keep the combat encounters low if the repetition is boring you, and I think there's an item you can equip for majima to have less encounters too
GABEN NO I MIGHT BE LOSING MY JOB I CAN'T KEEP DOING THIS
it's absolutely nothing

What are some Japanese paintings with this sort of vibe?
Japanese art in that picture is like a movie poster today. It served almost a purely utilitarian purpose of advertising a theatre actor. European fascination with Ukiyo-e baffled the Japanese who considered their lowest art form.
>the Japanese who considered their lowest art form.
it looks better than some of their other shit
Remember when Europe had a whole long-ass period where they only drew dogshit that looked worse than this
japan never left it
The pinnacle of Japanese art.

Scroll down and scroll the big piece right to left.
Bullshit, it is revered today
Yeah, that dude is there too.
>Japan - 1212
i think jap art is cool
>it's just my styyyyyle
They got their own kind of spice, that's right. Far out.
unintelligible slop. guess now i know where manga gets that from
No, I've seen there is a new Miku game but that's seems to be total ass.
>DMC5 is $10
No excuse not to play it.
How good/bad is Nier Replicant? I liked the trailer, seems like Jap kino, but scared its too pretentious
Nier Replicant is fricking great, they fixed the combat and added some QoL features.
The OST is amazing.
?si=r4aWzwxSxYYi_ZCM
the sidequests are dated and the multiple playthroughs gimmick is kind of a chore, the weapon material upgrading is also a little too grindy. besides those the game is kino though. 100%'d it and recommend playing it
Not as good as Automata, but still enjoyable.
Too bad the demake butchered the OST.
>Romancing saga 2 not on sale
puyo puyo tetris
might also buy age of empires ii de
I bought Peach Beach Splash with a couple DLC, 7 Days to Die (not cause japan but because it's getting a price hike) and that's about it. I almost bought Yakuza: Ishin, Ed-0: Zombie Uprising
, and the Umihara Kawase bundle but I probably wouldn't play them right now so might as well save money, buy Men of War 2 in a couple weeks.
Lotta good stuff on sale but I'm not buying anything, tbh. I have too much good stuff in my backlog.
Semi related but did Valve do anything with its library system recently? Steam can't see any of my games in Steamapps folder, moving them to Steamlibrary seemed to fix it
Any less popular games under $20?
This seems interesting

3D roguelike, looks similar to Let it die but without the MTX ?
Trailer narrator is cool too
lmao. the villain in the trailer's big goal is to "open Japan's borders".
Go ahead and get it. Considering it sold something like 127 copies in the first few months they'll be happy of the purchase.
Just bought the entire Yakuza series plus Like a Dragon for $50
>bro bought the entire Yakuza series plus Like a Dragon for $50
>his life? Gone for the next 5 years playing the same game
Cool. I think if you're playing then all you're going to get burnt out though. If you start with 0 you have played the best first which is great but maybe you're experience with the others will suffer by it. I don't think you're going to play every game so just start with that.
persona 5 royal is 20 bux, is that worth?
Absolutely, have you played any persona?
shut up
But have you played a persona before?
SHUT UP
Hey friend, maybe you have not quite understood me. Have, ahem, you played any persona game before? Like the funny persona game, a spinoff to the shin megami tensei series where you go to school and go form bonds with your fellow youngsters and stuff?
Haha is that a persona reference? He has the red color on his head at least
>frick everything
Chill bro you wanna go the harem route??? Fine just try not to get caught
yes
took me about 100hrs to beat it
easily
Why is cold steel so expensive on steam
Haha... Buy my games anon...
I did on ps4
Figured I might do another run on pc if they‘re cheap but even cs1 alone is 20 bucks
because xsneed is dead and nisa are greedy morons. remember that time falcom made them retranslate a game because it was too obvious they just ran it through Google Translate? ha ha...
i just want jojo to go lower
Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk
or
disgea 4 Co.plete
Will probably get the Etrian Odysseys and Puyo Puyo Tetris, just because I want a decent Tetris on my deck
not much for me
took you long enough
Finally a fricking decent discount for Octopath II
octopath 1 was offensively bad to me, with the boring and generic ass world/dialogue, lack of party interaction, formulaic chapter system etc., does anyone know if 2 is any better?
>No animated avatar of the YOOOOOOOOO guy
>No Great Wave off Kanagawa profile background
damn
Are the Blaster Master Zero games any good?
I don't actually intend to purchase any of this but I am tempted by all of the selections and cursed by self control
1. Dark Void, Dark Void Zero, and Flock are being removed from Steam in May so this is a good time to purchase it
2. Ishin and Persona 5 are at their lowest price yet so it is genuinely tempting
3. Another Crab's Treasure is coming out and I want to purchase the developers previous game Going Under
just my personal opinion. Ishin isn't worth it. I got it for $60 it's like a rehash of early yakuza games but with samurai. And when I say rehash it literally follows all the same story beats and they have the same characters all doing the same things. Just le old times. I was really disappointed with how unoriginal it felt.
I know Ishin isn't worth it and I dislike how Sega has been including influencers in the recent games.
I still need to 100% Lost Judgement but Ishin cries out to me because of my completionist autism.
Did Gaiden and Infinite Wealth end up not being trash?
I only played Gaiden for like an hour, I'm sick of Kiryu and beat em up so haven't touched it since then. Infinite Wealth I'm actually playing now and it's the most fun I've had in awhile with any Yakuza game. It is definetely good and has a lot of content. Hawaii is a good spot. But it's the most pozzed yakuza game yet (anti-white politics sadly). It's so fricking easy btw it's insane, I know all of these games are easy as frick but this one takes the cake. If you even touch the side content you'll be overleveled for the rest of the game, even if you're underleveled just spam your powerful attacks and everyone dies anyway, never have to use buffs/debuffs even in ng+ hardest difficulty. Also the main plot has a lot of holes like all Yakuza games. But at least the atmosphere, minigames, and side quests are all fun.
Also if you want a laugh, look up the english dub on youtube. They had some shitty drama youtuber named yong yea voice Kiryu, it's truly awful
>shitty drama youtuber named yong yea voice Kiryu
Yeah part of what I'm talking about with the influencer stuff.
Do they have the minigame density back up to what it was in prior Yakuza games?
Another Crab's Treasure already released
>Did you buy anything?
Persona 3 Reloaded
