And it's a bad thing for Valve as they still should finish Artifact Foundry and hold the million-dollar tournament.
Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.
I occasionally mention it while also mentioning that valve invented - literally invented - loot boxes, paid skins, and DRM as a service, just to remind everyone of how israeli they really are. And now this!

Who the frick makes these threads? I refuse to believe there aren't people paid to be anti-steam shills here. Looking for changes made 7 years ago and pretending like they are recent has to be a group effort.
What if I buy a game through gmg do my reviews not count anymore? I just finished and rated hi-fi rush highly. Game is kino besides the last second dykeing.
>YOU DIDNT BUY OUR GAME FOR 60 DOLLARS GOYIM SO WE DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR OPINION
No digital game should be above 40 bucks. I'm not paying for manufacturing physical copies.
don't care, I'm still buying keys off cd-keys because I still have to pay 70$ while having 50% less disposable income than US/Norway.
frick the israelites I'm israhelli btw
>anyone with more two brain cells buys on launch discounted from key sites like GMG
Might as well just make everything automatically high rated, Valve just took the only discerning consumers out of the equation.
Its because of third world game sweat shops who were abusing the system. Same with the card drop changes. We have to deal with the consequences of steam being a global service every fricking day.
You can only imagine the amount of shit being listed on steam. The algorithm hides most of it but you have no idea how bad it is. You have so many studios pumping out 300 to 400 games a year and most are just asset packs (that they stole) being sold unchanged. The algorithm hides them like I said but you know what's better than hiding them? Not letting them on the store in the first place. These 'games' literally have no value, none. You can buy the same assets and 'make' the same game in less than ten minutes.
Gabe let steam be turned into a litter box because they pay $100 every time they list a game.
Games used to be able to have cards on release but now they have to pass a sales threshold (around $50,000 in revenue) before they can add cards. Fewer indie games have card drops as a result. People were releasing games then using bots to farm for cards and turning the cards into gems to buy booster packs then selling the booster packs on the grey market for real money so valve had to change it.
Not great for indie devs, ouch.
Hasn't this been the case for literal years now?
>Wait isn't that a bad thing for shills then?

why are artifact schizos so crazy
like seriously dude 0 people on this planet besides you care because the game was shit from the start
It's all one guy. Crazy, I know.
Nobody cares but you
>artifact fanbase
Kek
You are literally the only person that brings it up ever, I never see anyone say a word about it in years except your pasta
I occasionally mention it while also mentioning that valve invented - literally invented - loot boxes, paid skins, and DRM as a service, just to remind everyone of how israeli they really are. And now this!

There are no likes on Ganker dot org.
>loot boxes
Incorrect, Maple Story and EA with FIFA did.
>paid skins
Bethesda with horse armour.
>DRM as a service
Correct.
Based artifact schizo, you're my favourite Ganker poster
Up there with Mario Naharis, Good Solonius and the x days until Avatar guy from Ganker
never give up the good fight brother
comedy silver
tell them brother. spread the word.
You are the ONLY reason I still think about that shitty game.
I do not understand your goals, Anon, but I respect your determination

Sir please redeem the epic store games!
I'm betting they are Chinese shills because their propaganda efforts focus on negative propaganda towards USA.
Not great for Pocketpair Inc and the indian/chinese shill team.
Wait isn't that a bad thing for shills then?
its always been that way
EPIC WINS AGAIN
steambros... it's over. they got the shopping cart
Damn that's crazy, most of my games are keys
At least Free to play games count, guess I'll never buy a game again
all of my reviews where I call devs racist and transphobic are fricking gone. this is literally trans genocide
What if I buy a game through gmg do my reviews not count anymore? I just finished and rated hi-fi rush highly. Game is kino besides the last second dykeing.

FTFY
Never pay anything for any non indie game.
That's literally always been the case. Your review shows up but doesn't count towards the percentage
Ahhhhh finally an explanation as to why the total reviews are always higher that the rating review number.
I wonder who paid them off to do this. Money was undoubtedly exchanged to push something like this.
Small indie devs handing out keys to smaller youtubers/reviewers really helps with discoverability in the algorithm.
Damn. My 11/10 for Suicide Squad won't count because I tried to save $10 on Fanatical. Why go on.
Good. Based Microsoft putting an end to Tencent/Sony reviewbomb scams
don't care, I'm still buying keys off cd-keys because I still have to pay 70$ while having 50% less disposable income than US/Norway.

Card drop changes? Like, on packs?

Oh, huh, I didn't know that. Thank you

>get game gifted

Oh no.
Wait, Steam reviews are completely fricking useless no matter what. Who gives a shit?
why should I care
Been like that for years, anon
https://store.steampowered.com/oldnews/24155
>2016
What's the problem? Steam keys are usually for shills anyway.
>reading some sperg's manifesto about why having to pay a penny is a war crime
No thanks
Oh, no! I better pay an extra $5-15 for each game so that Gaben can get a cut of the sale! Only steam wienersuckers would want to do such a thing.
