Any recommendations for cheap hidden gems? An anon mentioned Akane last year and it was pretty good for 1 euro
100 Asian Cats, It's Where's Waldo with cats. It's free. There's two devs pumping these Waldolikes out so theres like seven of them and theyre all free. Not exactly high class entertainment so your definition of gem may vary, but it's fun and if you dont like it, it takes two seconds to uninstall.
Is Nier Automata worth it for 20 buckerinos? Or is it a meme game that got popular because of 2b ass?
I do not recognise this question as valid. 2b ass is easily worth 20 buckerinos.
Brutal Orchestra is good. Very unique and memorable setting with interesting mechanics. My main criticism is that after you've beaten the first area a few times, it can feel like a chore to go through it again on subsequent runs.
>i want an addicting roguelite (played the most popular ones most likely).
Raksasi
Jupiter Hell
Quasimorph
SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising
暖雪 Warm Snow
Can't guarantee about them being addicting, but here is the list with some of the less known ones
Tangledeep is pretty weak. Pretty pixel art is the only thing going on for it. Enemies are 95% basic b***h generic attacks and it takes too much time leveling up, if/when you die. It has finite healing resources, so the optimal playstyle is sending your pet to tank the enemies, as it can regen health, but micromanaging the pet is a pain in the ass. Melee characters are shit because of that. There is an optional setting for your character to regen health, but the game is not balanced around it. Just play Tales of Maj'eyal instead.
Convoy
Rogue's Tale (you might either love or hate the frick out of it, an inbetween is unlikely)
Risk of Rain Returns (Original RoR was basically the proto vampire Survivors)
Less lilely recommendations:
Savage Vessels
Dome Keeper
Ones I haven't played myself yet but you might want to look at:
Necesse
Trigon: Space Story
KeeperRL
If you're into freaky stuff, The Monstrous Horror Show is my H-game of the year. And even if you're not, it's worth it for the characters and cast interaction alone. You can tell the dev put all their love into it.
Anon bros, i need a good coomer game for 5 or less with good replay value
Is this any good?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/787850/Heroine_Anthem_Zero_2__Scalescars_Oath/
it has some sexy art but its not a coomer game
the music is pretty cool and the art is very well done
the actual game is a alright if you are into the genre but nothing exceptional
Knight Arthur: A knight's tale
The game starts after you successfully kill King Arthur to death, you doom Camelot to ruin, everyone's is miserable because of you( and they hate you). So you gotta put everyone in their place and force them to accept you as their rightful ruler that you're. You're Mordred.
Gravity Circuit any good?
It looks fun as frick but I also see reviews that imply the game is less than 6 hours long which is a total no-go for the price tag.
I can jump over and buy Mass Effect Legendary for half the price and 10x the playtime, that's an actual deal.
I'm richer than the both of you and this is the reason.
I picked them up on Origin individually years ago when they went on sale for like 3 bucks each, only downside of that was needing to install fricking Origin which is a pretty major downside.
The mass effect games are nearing 20 years old, gravity circuit released a couple months ago, I'm pretty sure. Wait a couple decades to buy gravity circuit if that's your MO.
It's a megaman clone (except with bare hands Zero), of course it's going to be short. It took me under 5 hours to beat, according to the game end stats screens, and I got 90% of the collectables. Buy Udongein X if you want a pretty cheap but pretty respectable clone.
You homosexual are never funny, and it's the lamest schtick on steam ever. The only people find it amusing is old boomers and uncultured white people stupid crow ass netizen.
It's got atmosphere and fun out the ass, though. If the only thing that makes you happy is untold millions of polygons dancing together, than so be it. Whatever issues NJ has, the game is pure fricking soul and the sense of adventure is amazing.
any side scrollers with fun combo oriented combat like Vanillaware titles and Dust an Elysian Tale besides the Vagrant? I would also like to know some isometric action games.
Get both. But if you're only going to get one, yakuza is a simple jrpg with Japanese comedy and dos2 is a crpg where manipulating environment can break the game. Both are fun.
Is DOS2 fun without a friend? I remember that while I had lag issues with DOSE, and even with my friend running off ahead to do sidequests and shit, the player characters' interactions were more fun with a friend than controlling both solo.
It's an SRPG series.
You said oldschool Japanese RPG which still leaves things open to interpretation.
Chained Echoes is an indie rpg. I'm not sure where the dev is from but the publisher is German.
I'm thinking more like Chrono Trigger. Incidentally Chained Echoes has a bundle with another JRPG I've heard discussed on Ganker called "ASTLIBRA" so I might go for it.
I love Dredge, but it desperately needs to include some incentive to keep playing. An asynchronous co-op/competitive mode where you could do things that affect other players would be fantastic.
man i'd like to buy dragon ball Xenoverse 2 but I'm overwhelmed by all the DLC that my autism and OCD can't handle not getting it all but it's just too much money.
Seconding Maj'eyal. Also Troubleshooter, it has like 800 passives total to pick from, equipping like 30 to 40 by end game per character, with certain combinations of 4 forming a set that enhances or give new effects to those passives.
>i dislike farming games but i like jrpgs
Play a different series. >Will I enjoy RF if I like Atelier
Maybe, but farming doesn't take a backseat in RF.
I didn't screenshot my cart when I got it, but I recently bought Resident Evil 4 (2005). If you'll remember me, I was the guy that asked about RE4 Remake in the last sale of these threads so that's that.
The only game i wanted to buy is manor lord when it release and already spend my money on armoredcore 6 and ready or not
Really want to try cyberpunk but no money
https://store.steampowered.com/wishlist/profiles/76561199072675142#sort=order
shit mane I buy too many games mayne I need to stop mang many of the games are available cheaper when I get around to actually playing them goddamn maygne somebody fricking stop me man
Swap out Nioh with Nioh 2. It's more like Nioh 1.5 anyway, there's very little reason to play the first one over it unless you absolutely want more Nioh.
Don't mind the butthurt contrarians that will reply to this post.
Not exactly. The closest to Blasphemous is Hollow Knight as both are Dark Souls-ish Dark Fantasy Metroidvanias but they are both very different games with very different combat systems.
As for Paranormalsight good fricking luck finding a decent horror VN.
>he wants to buy soive thats one of worst fighting games ever made >he wants to pay that much
Its like paying someone to shit inside your mouth. I guess some mentally ill goblins like that
>mindless action game >that has some depth
??
I guess Revengeance
Since it's pretty easy to play compared to like DMC or something but I bet better players could do some cooler shit
Still on the fence with most of these, got some gift cards but might save for next year since there's a few games I'm looking forward to
Accepting recs for puzzle, tycoon, relaxing, or retro platformer games
I got Gnorp. It's cool. I got maybe 6 hours of active play on it. The down to it is very few late game builds are viable so it's more about finding an efficient way to break the game. Don't try to max everything. Specialize.
They're on sale but the discount for them is glitchy. Check out the store page or bundle
but I don't want the bundle, each game is a backlog jammer with its length
guess I'll take the 012 bundle but im still taking TV and movie suggestions with similar fights
Not that guy but I didn't really have issues with the EA app. That being said they did not hold up well. I loved ME1 and 2 but it was so boring playing it again. The combat and gameplay was so repetitive and boring.
did you ever play yakuza? it's basically the same game re-released over and over with slightly different coat of paint, button-mashing combat and cringe-inducing story with epic japanese humor.
Not for everyone, definitely not for me.
It's not as bad as people on here make it out to be, the character, voice actors and enemy aggression are the weakest part of the remake but everything else is an upgrade
That said it might be better to pirate the 1st game but if you don't want to do that then just get the remake
What's the name of that black and white puzzle game that's gotten a lot of threads lately? It's not World of Horror or Slay the Princess, this one has Gameboy graphics iirc
Lotta people buying it. No fricking clue why. 15% is no reason to be jumping for it. Probably fine for what it is if you like that kind of thing and are high while gooning to your second monitor and shiposting from mobile though.
Wait for a better sale if it looks cool.
So, I have something very specific I'm looking for anons. What are games that allow you to be a Lich/Undead Lord/Vampire Lord, etc.? It could be any genre, but especially 4X or RTS is great.
Some ideas that come to mind:
playing the Vampire Counts/Undead races in Total War WH
Warcraft 3 Undead
What else is there? I want to be a Lich and have a kingdom. And kill all the living! Is that so much to ask?
im right there with you, liches are cool as frick and id love a good game where you can play as them. im still surprised noone has just blatantly copied wows lich king and made a game around him
>Spent $300 on gamesduring the autumn sale >Bought steamdeck >Have another $300 worth of games in cart right now >Over 200 games in my current backlog and about to buy 35 more >Have only played through two games since September because of constant wage slaving and spend all my free time sleeping because of lethargy from wage slaving
stop buying so many fricking games, did you just get into pc gaming? >lethargy from wage slaving
invest in a tub of gamer supps and drink at the start of your day. drink lots of water during the day. consider exercising twice a week
after all that, just open steam and hit play. you can even play in bed with the 'eck. after about 10 minutes the brain engagement chemicals will kick in and you'll be good
>invest in a tub of gamer supps and
The artificial sugar they put in there had me kinda confused, because it really tastes pretty mild and nice if you mix it right.
>Try to buy Sengoku Rance during the GOG sale >All of a sudden the site doesn't accept prepaid debit cards through Paypal anymore
This is so gay, I'm willingly trying to pay for a fricking porn game, give me a god damn break.
Gabe needs to get that stick out of his fricking ass and let more legit h-games onto steam, I'm sick of needing to skate around stupid e*ro payment processors.
>picked up RDR2, the first Rockstar game I've played since GTA V's PC release >can't play it because my Steam account is linked to an old Social Club account I set up a decade ago and no longer have access to
Beyond pissed. It's the first game I've bought in at least three years, too. It's bad enough to require it for online, but I ran into this problem when I tried to play LA Noire, a single player game from 2011.
Gather up all your hopes and dreams and sail the Grand Line to find the One Piece my guy
also good luck on the job search dont be like me and waste six months worth of savings for no reason
Help me get this under $200. I heard mixed things on Sisters vs Sisters. I'm also not the biggest fan of highschool dating sims but I heard P5R was really good game play wise.
The neptunia games are hot garbage. The atelier games also suck.
Persona 5 royal is not worth that price.
Octopath traveler 2 is not worth $60 what the frick.
Final fantasy 6 is longer.
if you have your heart set on those games then drop the neptunia shit ant. from there Octopath 2 is meh and same with Triangle Strategy, Persona 5 R if you have never played it then it is worth it. Look into SMT 3 if you like JRPGS and persona's combat
I got Horizon Zero Dawn, Shovel Knight and Lego DC Super Villains. I thought about getting The Last of Us and Jedi Survivor but I'm still using a 1070 because I'm a cheapskate.
I got the Platinum in Horizon 1 and 2, I just wanted to replay it on PC with better graphics and mods. TLOU1 is also one of my favorite games ever, and same deal there. I thought Dying Light 1 was alright but not my cup of tea.
If you buy Robocop you buy it for the power fantasy of being robocop. The shooting isn't super deep, and there are long sections of just talking and investigating, but the power fantasy is fricking flawless.
It looks cool as frick. If you want something cheaper try Bioshock 2, EYE, HROT, Severed Steel, Project Downfall or ADACA. Only played half of these but they seem interesting and don't cost too much.
EYE is cool but the shooting is shit. Bioshock never felt good to me. I will look into the others, thanks.
If you buy Robocop you buy it for the power fantasy of being robocop. The shooting isn't super deep, and there are long sections of just talking and investigating, but the power fantasy is fricking flawless.
Good to know. Might snag it and another shooting game. I haven't played one in years. So few call to me. Merry Christmas
>EYE is cool but the shooting is shit
The shooting is literally the best part of the game, and better than almost every other FPS. All the guns have proper weight, ammo exists but isn't too restrictive, large weapons don't work up close, shots to the chest are lethal like headshots, every weapon has great sound effects, a huge variety of guns in general which are all pretty powerful, aim down sight exists but is mostly optional and bullet travel time isn't instant.
What the frick do you mean the shooting is shit?
As someone who knows Japanese, there's a difference between translating the words and translating the character. And frankly, translating the same fricking line (extremely common in nip) over and over gets boring and it's fun to mix it up.
I'm craving for some ADVENTURE lads.
The perfect games that scratched that itch were INFRA, The Northern Journey, 35MM, the first two Thief games, both Fear & Hunger entries.
Any advice?
the person who recommended Troubleshooter should go kill himself
it's like xcom but completely insufferable, and the entire game reads like the text was stuffed through a dollar store machine translator
Already bought against the storm as I enjoyed what I played of the demo earlier today.
Opinions on Stellaris? It seems like it would be decent entry point for grand strategy and it's sci-fi which appeals to me more than the history games, however I have heard mixed things about it outside of the DLC policies of Paradox such as screwing over larger empires recently.
Outside of that I might just get some Euro truck DLC and a small game or two and call it at that.
You can ask about stellarisnon the thread in /vst/
The gist is >Pirate the dlcs >Stellaris is a RPG game first >Pick your flavor on how to achieve total galaxy control
I'm a huge fan of both Panzer and the entire HOTD franchise. Both remakes are fricking shit. It brings me zero joy to say this. Just play Typing of the dead because at least that game is super easy to get working with light guns
What's the problem with Dread Delusion? I avoid anything made by Dread XP/New Blood because the guys involved with both have no qualms about launching shoddy or mediocre shit and put more care towards their marketing and memes than into the quality of their games.
REMINDER. A game marked as private will not show up on your profile but it WILL post on My Activity showing when you first played it and what achievements you got.
>canadian dollars >euros >dollars >Please help me keep it under 50$
What the frick? I thought all 1st world countries are ugly rich and spend 1000$ every sale.
Not for Alice: Madness Returns nor for Mirror's Edge 1.
Look at which warnings are shown on the steam store page. For the games I mentioned, you only need to accept the EULA (unless you buy an EA play account). Pic is what you'd see if you needed Origin as well for that game.
I feel like the dev was watching me post before the sale begin about how wanted to get 2 old games that usually go on sale for 2 dollars. Because both aren't on sale and it fricking bothering me.
elden ring suffers from being so big and open world but its not a bad game by any means. just like, a 7 or 8/10 on the souls scale which mogs most other AAA games coming out these days anyways
The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa is pretty cool But you will notice the limits of the game pretty fast. There is time limits and no good guide (at least when I played so I needed to visit a lot of forums to find more events in the game). Atmosphere is top tier.
I would also recommend Arrest of a stone Buddha from the same author
I've been having this cart for as long as the winter sale goes. I only have a budget of 17,5 dollars. Which games should i pick that fit the budget? I'm thinking of getting the Backpack Heroes game
OKay, now i reduced my games to a more manageable level. Now, they're still over my budget so any games that's good to pick and games i can safely remove?
EDF is great and the japs still play multiplayer, that was anons point. Horizon's Gate is alright, but just pirate it unless you feel the need to support a dev. Rest of the list is garbage. Zomboid is a poor mans Cataclysm DDA.
I'm craving for some ADVENTURE lads.

I figured, annoying that not a single company has ever managed to copy Monster Hunter without dropping the ball hardcore. I just hope they never decide to get lazy with it like Pokemon did.
I've got a frickload of games, I don't want to buy a bunch more and then not play any until months later when I remember I have a frickload of games I haven't played yet.
I've got a frickload of games, I don't want to buy a bunch more and then not play any until months later when I remember I have a frickload of games I haven't played yet.
I only want to spend 25 bucks or so, what should I get? This is what looks most interesting on my wishlist, but Xenotilt is early access.
It's the most interesting on my wishlist, so I'll give it a shot. The Ninja Warriors remake was awesome, so I trust the people who made it.
I did not enjoy Pentiment. It's dry but not academic, combined with a murder mystery that's just an excuse to dump more exposition text on you, it is passionless sex to a T.
I enjoyed it when I played it on Gamepass on my free trial month. It is more a VN than a real mystery though, doesnt feel like you can change the outcome of anything. Artstyle and atmosphere are great, and the writing is quite good
Penitement is decent as a historical game. Not so much for the mystery, so don't try to get too invested in that part. Quantum Break is dogshit both gameplay and storywise. You'd think the TV show gimmick would be used to elevate the parts you play but the plot line and characters in the show are completely separate from the game part except for one or two intersections.
If you consider persona to be a VN then 13 Sentinels is a VN by those standards. Most of the game is walking around hubs progressing the plot. Theres the RTS-esque gameplay (thats actually pretty good) but its not a majority.
I bought it, barely played it (I buy far too many games). It's really ugly and you can get raped in the ass in earliest area in the game in under 5 minutes by some weird mutated zombies that you can't tell what they really look like because the game is fricking ugly. If that's your thing you might like it.
>Paying 20 fricking Eurobux for Trepang2
The game is worth $5 USD on sale. It's 4 hours long and half the content isn't even the fun part (shooting soldiers). I don't even like Ultrakill that much but you'd be far better off buying Ultrakill, or maybe Turbo Overkill if you really want slo-mo, than that asset-flip tier game.
>Sennaar
It seemed like an interesting game but then I imagined actually playing it and now it seems tedious.
Did you play Heaven's Vault?
I thought Chants of Sennaar was great. It's super fun making guesses of what words mean based on context and slowly refining as you learn the language better. There's a demo if you want to play the start of the game, and most the game works like that. >Heaven's Vault
I have that but haven't played it yet
if you don't care about the story then I guess you could and just randomly choose whatever story decisions you want. you'll probably go through all the story routes if you 100% the game anyway
I'm seeing more of these games that are like Vampire Survivors popping up, are they any good? Are there any other random indie games that are decent? The farthest I've ever gone into the whole roguelike thing and the like are Binding of Isaac.
I thought I liked them and I own plenty of them but I am kind of getting bored of them. When I play I start to zone out and if I'm at all tired I will literally start falling asleep. Not enough of them actually try to innovate or have a proper hook like something unique to them compared to the rest. And those that try usually fail at coming up with anything that actually works.
Currently there's not much content. A couple of the characters have cringe dialogue with typed emojis. The game was hard when it came out and the clueless dev ended up making the game much easier by nerfing all the enemies instead of balancing skills. The only real progression is getting better gear and very few unlocks and gear used to matter more when the game was more difficult. The game really needs new characters and a new map etc it gets boring quick otherwise and it's one of the games that makes me space out constantly so I stopped playing and I am waiting for the ranger character so we can finally have 2 ranged characters instead of just 1.
Spelunky is excellent, didn't get to the sequel yet.
Hades is a no-brainer to try, polished to a mirror sheen, great narrative integration.
Nuclear Throne is great for intense split second calls, you don't have worry about RNG leaving you with a peashooter, because all guns kick ass. Had 30 fps lock on release, don't know what's the current build/mod situation.
If you want a real roguelike, DoomRL is free and fairly approachable, or you could try Jupiter Hell, the spiritual successor.
NT also has stupid unreactable bullshit! frick that fricking game! I quit after I was doing well on a loop and an explosion plant rounded a fricking corner straight for me and I couldnt do anything but eat the hit and died instantly
Will probably get RE4 for 25€ on Fanatical.
What's so bad about Dying Light 2? Had a lot of fun with the first game, slightly less so with the expansion.
re4 is kinda meh to be honest, I regret getting it.
Basically the way difficulty works is that Hard is actually easy and real Hard unlocks only after you finish the game once.
Also most of the shit feels like a poor imitation of the original game.
RE2re was much better.
I know cod is terrible but I like customising the guns and the zombie mode seemed OK when I tried it
apart from that, what should I remove? also, any VR recs? mostly looking for shooting games
Help me guys!
I removed Horizon and Days Gone. Instead, I added Guardians of the Galaxy and Dragon's Dogma games. I also took Alien: Dark Descent off the list, maybe it will be cheaper next year. I'm still considering Sekiro; I really love the Dark Souls games, but I'm hesitant because I heard that Sekiro has a fast-paced gameplay.
Sekiro's fast only if you want to take down the boss fast. It's very easy to hold block and learn the enemy's moveset first before you start trying to parry, and even then the parrying is easy enough to do even if its in quicker succession because of the forgiving timing on it. If you could get used to timing and rolling through attacks in Souls games, you can get used to the timing of parrying attacks in Sekiro.
This is what i'm looking at, everything else doesn't look good. recomend me some cheap cool games.
Neither of those are good. They're dirt cheap for a reason.
why did you add dragon's dogma when second game comes out in a few months?
Guardians is just capeshit movie where you have to occasionally play, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you're a huge fan.
Sekiro is stellar but it's not really a Dark Souls game, it's faster and more reactionary and there are no builds with little replayability.
I played DS genesis with my gf in coach Co-op and it was ok but nothing special.
>patiently waiting for someone to post a cart with a game in it that I already have left over from the hundreds of bundles and shit so I can gift it to them instead
damn and I just activated mortal shell myself yesterday
I know I'm getting a 50 dollar gift card for christmas.
My wishlist is too long and 10 of those dollars are going into lethal company so I'm no longer the only member of my friend group who doesn't have it.
So, working off of 40 bucks to work with, I'm looking for general recs based on my highest priority Wishlist items >The incest cannibals >Cult of the Lamb >The Long Drive >Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (Only games in the series I haven't played now aside from the edgeworth games) >Pizza Tower >Rimworld >Digimon Survive >Imposter Factory >YOMI Hustle >The less popular early access dino survival game >Oxygen Not Included >Pit People
Out of these, which would you say are the most worth my money and why
>50 dollar gift card for christmas >10 of those dollars are going into lethal company so I'm no longer the only member of my friend group who doesn't have it
why dont you try getting a job? zoomer gayget
Its good. Not great, not terrible. Not sure how much it is going on for right now but 20 bucks seems about right for an okay game that you are interested in with a side of dick pulling.
Not sure if I should get some gud deals now or save my shekels for games coming out in Feb and March. What do? I'm poor. I really want P3R and Dragon's Dogma, but I also want Baldur's Gate and the Yakuza Collection.
I have the opposite problem. When I pay for a game, I have to play them for it to not have been a waste, and the stress makes me not enjoy the game. So I end up playing more pirated games than legally bought ones.
The only dangers of pirating is if the game releases a buggy mess.
Groups usually rerelease the game with all the dlc. It often works better because there is no online drm bs.
how does it compare to halls of torment? i feel like there wasn't much depth to halls of torment in comparison to vampire survivor, and it also wasn't as fun to play as brotato.
I bought Antichamer, Cruelty Squad and Westerado, already almost done with all of them.
Anyone knows of any 2d games where you can upgrade your character forever and be overpowered?
Is Making Lover good? I feel kinda lonely those days. I need VN, where I can talk to girls without childish humor or cringe. Just a guy meets a girl, she likes him and they start fricking.
No, the problem is that your review will have a disclaimer which causes people second guess it.
(Even though they should pay more attention to your review because you're smart enough to buy games for cheap.)
i recently quit my job i cant be wasting money on games homie
sounds like a you problem
why did you quit your job?
I recently discovered free games via torrents 15 years ago so I'll have to skip this sale like all others for the rest of my life
>game gets a $1 discount
>like story based games
>dont like crpgs
>dont like jrpgs
>dont like open world rpgs

I do not recognise this question as valid. 2b ass is easily worth 20 buckerinos.
pathologic 2 if you're bit masochistic
disco elysium
not for broadcast
pentiment
immortality
Pertinent definitely gets put on the list, I wanted to avoid Elysium for being a commie meme but I suppose its time to play it. Thanks anon
idk bout the memes, but its really good esp if you had experience with addiction in your life
Disco Elysium transcends politics by just being really good and shit
Make sure to pirate it, since the devs got their shot stolen and the people making the money didn't actually make the fricking game. lmao.
>100 Asian Cats
i played it yesterday lol, yes it's pretty cool
should i get darkest dungeon 2 if I loved the first one? the reviews are pretty divided
i want an addicting roguelite (played the most popular ones most likely). any opinion on brutal orchestra or heretics fork?
Brutal Orchestra is good. Very unique and memorable setting with interesting mechanics. My main criticism is that after you've beaten the first area a few times, it can feel like a chore to go through it again on subsequent runs.
ty
out of those? ftl and into the breach are great time wasters
i think black mesa for 3-4 bucks is a steal
i meant these are games I've played the most, looking for potential new stuff based on these
Well, if I already own something I'd take it as a hint to actually install ir or play more
>i want an addicting roguelite (played the most popular ones most likely).
Raksasi
Jupiter Hell
Quasimorph
SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising
暖雪 Warm Snow
Can't guarantee about them being addicting, but here is the list with some of the less known ones
2 has better combat than 1
tangledeep
vampire survivors/it's clones(bonerais2er minions, holocure, brotato, etc) are a spinoff genre to consider too
Nomad survival is a good vs clone
already on my wishlist
too bad its so short

Anything good this steam sale?
what are we thinking?
gay
gay
gay
gay
What do you think? Great or ney?
Are you that autist from last year who posted his Steam cart in every single thread until the very last day of the sale?
I think so
But I'm not autist, I'm a neet
I'm thinking of getting Ancient Cities.
gotta get gut at city builders tho.
rune factory 4 and vampire survivors i can vouch for
In light of the ability to private games i'm looking for good H games. 2d, 3d, dont care hit me with recs.
If you're into freaky stuff, The Monstrous Horror Show is my H-game of the year. And even if you're not, it's worth it for the characters and cast interaction alone. You can tell the dev put all their love into it.
>The Monstrous Horror Sho
bit to freaky for me bud sorry got any other recs?
Peggle is bretty gud.
Anon bros, i need a good coomer game for 5 or less with good replay value
Is this any good?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/787850/Heroine_Anthem_Zero_2__Scalescars_Oath/
it has some sexy art but its not a coomer game
the music is pretty cool and the art is very well done
the actual game is a alright if you are into the genre but nothing exceptional
>there are children here who buy dozens of games at a time
What's a game in which you start out with pretty much everyone hating your character, and you have to work on improving your reputation.
________Your life_____
I can't see the name I don't want to get spoiled smartass
I saw this one coming. I'll have to give it a try.
Bully
Knight Arthur: A knight's tale
The game starts after you successfully kill King Arthur to death, you doom Camelot to ruin, everyone's is miserable because of you( and they hate you). So you gotta put everyone in their place and force them to accept you as their rightful ruler that you're. You're Mordred.
YES YES MOAR
you need to fill that cart up
do not wait, you deserve more!!
Gravity Circuit any good?
It looks fun as frick but I also see reviews that imply the game is less than 6 hours long which is a total no-go for the price tag.
>3 dollars an hour is bad
Poorgay spotted
I can jump over and buy Mass Effect Legendary for half the price and 10x the playtime, that's an actual deal.
I'm richer than the both of you and this is the reason.
its so annoying you cant just download 1 part of mass effect, gotta go all in 100+gb
I picked them up on Origin individually years ago when they went on sale for like 3 bucks each, only downside of that was needing to install fricking Origin which is a pretty major downside.
The mass effect games are nearing 20 years old, gravity circuit released a couple months ago, I'm pretty sure. Wait a couple decades to buy gravity circuit if that's your MO.
>assume it's $25 or some bullshit
>it's $13
bruh
It's a megaman clone (except with bare hands Zero), of course it's going to be short. It took me under 5 hours to beat, according to the game end stats screens, and I got 90% of the collectables. Buy Udongein X if you want a pretty cheap but pretty respectable clone.
are zachtronics games still worth buying even if I'm a drooling moron? all of the reviews make them out to be the dark souls of puzzle games
Yes definitely worth.
What should I remove?
yourself
Caw caw so funny caw caw
But I'm not wrong ahahaha
You homosexual are never funny, and it's the lamest schtick on steam ever. The only people find it amusing is old boomers and uncultured white people stupid crow ass netizen.
what do I add/remove?
Add Northern Journey
>Northern Journey
Great choice, btw. 1001 Spikes is good if you want a little meditative masochism.
northern journey looks like actual dog shit
It's got atmosphere and fun out the ass, though. If the only thing that makes you happy is untold millions of polygons dancing together, than so be it. Whatever issues NJ has, the game is pure fricking soul and the sense of adventure is amazing.
the only good game in there is Golden Idol
>XIII Classic
That's a fun game. You might need to add a widescreen mod.
any side scrollers with fun combo oriented combat like Vanillaware titles and Dust an Elysian Tale besides the Vagrant? I would also like to know some isometric action games.
Any recommendations for cheap hidden gems? An anon mentioned Akane last year and it was pretty good for 1 euro
when did they release gta 5 on steam??
Hahaha so funny
all 3 are on the game pass
i'd recommend everyone not for broadcast, just because its super unique and funny
you are a live tv show producer and your decisions have big impacts
for non city build management: unironiclly dave the diver and football manager
Is Nier Automata worth it for 20 buckerinos? Or is it a meme game that got popular because of 2b ass?
yes to both questions.
If you like character action games then id say yes but if you dont like games like DMC then dont waste your money.
It's a Platinum game. Flashy, not that deep, and you probably won't play it more than once unless you REALLY like it.
well
Anon you might want to look more into volcaloids devs iiorc smth about the game being ass, slow dev time or smth
wasnt anything i REALLY wanted anyway
Two points campus looks like a mod of hospital.
its been 2 hours and im enjoying it a lot so far.
no regrets
phasmo is so fricking fun with friends. it's like living in ghost adventures
campus will be in next months humble bundle
are the rune factory games any good? Is 5 worth getting?
they are comfy if you like farming + side dungeon games, i didnt play 5 tho
Narrowed it down to just these.
Yes it is
DOS2 doesnt have the (imo moronic) 2 main characters system.
Also yes, in fact I would say its better
I just beat D:OS2 a month ago, it was an astounding game. If you like CRPGs even a little bit it's by far the better choice.
Like a dragon has the worst turn based combat I've personally see in a game
Either by a beatenup Yakuza or a different turn based game
Any quality oldschool JRPGs on the Steam sale? Something isometric, preferably.
FF9-
>isometric
Disgaea
Isn't Disgaea a strategy series?
But anyway I'm talking about stuff like Chained Echoes here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1229240/Chained_Echoes/
It's an SRPG series.
You said oldschool Japanese RPG which still leaves things open to interpretation.
Chained Echoes is an indie rpg. I'm not sure where the dev is from but the publisher is German.
I'm thinking more like Chrono Trigger. Incidentally Chained Echoes has a bundle with another JRPG I've heard discussed on Ganker called "ASTLIBRA" so I might go for it.
That game is here btw:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1718570/ASTLIBRA_Revision/
Looks like a Newgrounds game and I'm really digging it.
It's got a demo, so you can see if you like it. Interesting that it comes in a bundle.
R8, h8, b8, m8
If you haven't already, Dwarf Fortress has a Steam release that seems to have significantly improved the playability by adding a more modernized UI.
Astlibra is kamige. Do not read any more about it. Just buy it and play it.
Is blue Revolver good?
I'm thinking on getting it but I still have some shmups that I need to finish
>shmups
>finish
are you 1uping them?
I like to 1cc them in all difficulties with all characters
All i've gotten is Death Must Die which has been pretty fun so far. I still have about $5 left in my steam wallet. I have no idea what else to get.
QUICK
what are some build autism games where i can do over 9000 playthroughs with different builds
https://store.steampowered.com/app/259680/Tales_of_MajEyal/
Seconding Maj'eyal. Also Troubleshooter, it has like 800 passives total to pick from, equipping like 30 to 40 by end game per character, with certain combinations of 4 forming a set that enhances or give new effects to those passives.
Underrail.
Troubleshooter.
how much farming is there in the rune factory games? i dislike farming games but i like jrpgs. will i enjoy rune factory if i like atelier?
>i dislike farming games but i like jrpgs
Play a different series.
>Will I enjoy RF if I like Atelier
Maybe, but farming doesn't take a backseat in RF.
I didn't screenshot my cart when I got it, but I recently bought Resident Evil 4 (2005). If you'll remember me, I was the guy that asked about RE4 Remake in the last sale of these threads so that's that.
The only game i wanted to buy is manor lord when it release and already spend my money on armoredcore 6 and ready or not
Really want to try cyberpunk but no money
https://store.steampowered.com/wishlist/profiles/76561199072675142#sort=order
>i made a choice
Yes you did das rite. Why would you link your wishlist huh? You expect something?
This is all that I got. I also got a warhammer 3 dlc from a keysite. I'm tempted to get something else but I can't find anything i really want.
Did they add rollback to orange juice?
I want to play it but being a thirdworlder just by being present it slows down the entire game's speed.
I hate it. I wish it had rollback so that didn't happen.
i'm not sure, i only ever play with friends that live in developed counties.
The best thing about Steam sales is that you can get all the pre 2016 non woke games for under 5$
name seventeen examples
shit mane I buy too many games mayne I need to stop mang many of the games are available cheaper when I get around to actually playing them goddamn maygne somebody fricking stop me man
Tell me what is trash and what would be better based on these please and thank you merry Christmas.
Capeshit is trash, no expections. Grow da frick up.
Isn't outlast a streamer game? If not, then keep it. If someone streamed it, then drop it.
Keep the others since they are actual real games unlike the other 2.
All of those games have been streamed dozens of times.
Keep nioh.
The loot is not very important until NG++ btw, and you can refashion everything
Never heard of Lighthouse or Outlast but the rest are fine.
Outlast series only the first game is worth playing with the dlc
Nioh is great, i would swap batman games for nioh2
Swap out Nioh with Nioh 2. It's more like Nioh 1.5 anyway, there's very little reason to play the first one over it unless you absolutely want more Nioh.
Don't mind the butthurt contrarians that will reply to this post.
Nioh1 is much better than Nioh2 in pretty much everything.
Any games similar to these 2?
Not exactly. The closest to Blasphemous is Hollow Knight as both are Dark Souls-ish Dark Fantasy Metroidvanias but they are both very different games with very different combat systems.
As for Paranormalsight good fricking luck finding a decent horror VN.
I was looking for more mystery vns but couldn't really find any that seemed interesting
I was considering it but I want to try the first one first
>more mystery vns
Again: good fricking luck.
They are directly related so yeah
You have to do ng+ to see all the content though
You will read.
The only good part about umineko is the music
?feature=shared
Worng and it will not spare you the reading.
The intellectual rapist strikes again
Ohh boy do i have a game for you
BLASPHEMOUS 2
Raging Loop is good. Song of Saya. Umineko.
whomever makes the prices on fighting games should be flayed alive
Why would you buy a shit 2d fighter like ggs tho
idk I'm not even good at fighting games but i spent like 20 hours in xrd cuz i like the characters
Grand blue is free on steam anon, dnf was free on epic like 5 days ago, tekken 8 has a free demo ao does st6 i think
Plenty of options to try out
60 bucks for the base game plus 3 years of season passes is a steal. Buy the game, chud.
You shouldn't be buying guilty groomer regardless
>buying the "she was always a troony" dev's game
What's wrong with you?
i play faust i don't care about anything else
>he wants to buy soive thats one of worst fighting games ever made
>he wants to pay that much
Its like paying someone to shit inside your mouth. I guess some mentally ill goblins like that
>Literally picking the worst fighting game on Steam
Good lord why? At least pick SF6 if all you want is something mainstream/modern
What's a good mindless action game that has some depth?
>mindless action game
>that has some depth
>Deathloop
Was given away for free on epic a few time, probs also cheaper on key sites
>Void strangers
Im waiting for bigger sale
I got Gnorp. It's cool. I got maybe 6 hours of active play on it. The down to it is very few late game builds are viable so it's more about finding an efficient way to break the game. Don't try to max everything. Specialize.
>melvor
based. Had to stop myself from playing, especially because I had a normal and a hardcore character at the same time
How's cultic?
>20%
Too expensive, THAT'S HOW IT IS LMAO
good
>River City Girls 2 is still only 30% off
Kyoko and Misako aren't worth this
What should I ditch?
Wait for a better sale on Pizza Tower. You missed the meme game window and it's only going to go steeper.
Should I replace it with Gravity Circuit?
That's the exact same price with the exact same discount. I thought you wanted to trim down the list.
No! But you are right though
my back log is infinite, i dont need to buy anything right now
>none of the Yakuzas are on sale
frick it, any good TV serieses or movies to watch with their fighting style instead?
The bundle is. But instead of being $35 with each knocked out if you own it, it's $42.
but I don't want the bundle, each game is a backlog jammer with its length
guess I'll take the 012 bundle but im still taking TV and movie suggestions with similar fights
They're on sale but the discount for them is glitchy. Check out the store page or bundle
Ya/Nay?
Anything I should get rid of?
Get rid of mass effect
Even though it's so cheap?
Poop is free anon doesnt mean you should go around picking it up
I really want to play them again but I heard the EA App is terrible.
Not that guy but I didn't really have issues with the EA app. That being said they did not hold up well. I loved ME1 and 2 but it was so boring playing it again. The combat and gameplay was so repetitive and boring.
I was worried about that as well tbh, I haven't bought any games yet cause in the back of my mind I just know I'm not gonna play them.
Cafe Stella, everything else is fine. Ignore anyone telling you to get rid of mass effect. It's a steal for that price
Do you have a suggestion then to replace Cafe Stella, because I wanted to at least get one comfy moe VN(Sex is fine, but no rape or NTR)
Go to /vn/ general on /vg/, they will give a proper recommendation
Don't come to /vn/, it is currently schizo hours.
Never knew about this.
What does this mean?
did you ever play yakuza? it's basically the same game re-released over and over with slightly different coat of paint, button-mashing combat and cringe-inducing story with epic japanese humor.
Not for everyone, definitely not for me.
From the contents of his bundle he's got 0, 1, and 2 already
I did, but I never finished 0, 1, and 2, but I was in the mood to play them now since I got a new PC and got myself a 4k monitor.
If you haven't finished any of the games then go and finish them first, otherwise you'll burn out big time in 0 and forget about the other ones
Was that Rimworld which didn't have any sales for a long time?
That's Factorio. Rimworld has had 10% sales for a while
Merry Christmas!
Is the Dead Space Remake worth getting if I liked the Resident Evil 4 Remake?
No. Pirate at most.
Is the Dead Space Remake that bad?
It's not as bad as people on here make it out to be, the character, voice actors and enemy aggression are the weakest part of the remake but everything else is an upgrade
That said it might be better to pirate the 1st game but if you don't want to do that then just get the remake
No
I'm choosing between Pizza tower and Inscryption
Which one?
Two completely different games. Depends on which genre you like more
Both way diffrent games anon, i would go with inscription
I had to make this same choice last summer and I ended up with Pizza Tower, no regrets. Getting Inscryption this sale
I didn't buy games for more than year so I missed all indies.
Which good indies were released in the last 2 years?
Preferably platformers with combat.
Is cyberpunk 2077 good now?
Yes but only with the dlc
Is death must die worth it in current state?
Yes and no, i would wait for 1.0, but it might go up in price then
What's the name of that black and white puzzle game that's gotten a lot of threads lately? It's not World of Horror or Slay the Princess, this one has Gameboy graphics iirc
Void Stranger?
>tabletop sim
It's actually fricking over.
>Void Stranger?
That's the one! Is it recommended?
Lotta people buying it. No fricking clue why. 15% is no reason to be jumping for it. Probably fine for what it is if you like that kind of thing and are high while gooning to your second monitor and shiposting from mobile though.
Wait for a better sale if it looks cool.
How bad did I frick up guys?
Pretty badly, it looks like you already own all those games. What a dummy!
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
(I just made a cart pic to show what I had already got earlier, I figured it's nicer to look at/share that way for you all)
Dead cells is kinda shit, I wouldnt recommend it even for free.
I didn't find Dead Cells that exciting, it's very grindy, but people like it because it's a roguelite you will "always win" in the end.
Scarlet Maiden does basically the same thing and has breasts, I prefer it for that reason (they are both about the same)
tabletop sim is unplayable for me. Who developed that garbage?
Someone who had a better PC than what you have now when he made it, I guess
So, I have something very specific I'm looking for anons. What are games that allow you to be a Lich/Undead Lord/Vampire Lord, etc.? It could be any genre, but especially 4X or RTS is great.
Some ideas that come to mind:
playing the Vampire Counts/Undead races in Total War WH
Warcraft 3 Undead
What else is there? I want to be a Lich and have a kingdom. And kill all the living! Is that so much to ask?
No necro bros out here?
There really aren't that many good games with those kind of mechanics.
You give up so easily
Will check it out
Warlords Battlecry III might have it?
Dungeons, I guess. Basically Dungeon Keeper but playable
im right there with you, liches are cool as frick and id love a good game where you can play as them. im still surprised noone has just blatantly copied wows lich king and made a game around him
Not your preferred genres but
V rising
Pathfinder wrath of the righteous let's you become a lich
Last epoch has a lich form/subclass
what should I add?
Is BeamNG worth it if I just wanna drive around?
>none of the games I want are less than $10
Steam has fallen...
>Spent $300 on gamesduring the autumn sale
>Bought steamdeck
>Have another $300 worth of games in cart right now
>Over 200 games in my current backlog and about to buy 35 more
>Have only played through two games since September because of constant wage slaving and spend all my free time sleeping because of lethargy from wage slaving
I just want to play videogames
Spend that money on uppers. Then you'll play plenty of video games.
Stop thinking about playing and just play.
stop buying so many fricking games, did you just get into pc gaming?
>lethargy from wage slaving
invest in a tub of gamer supps and drink at the start of your day. drink lots of water during the day. consider exercising twice a week
after all that, just open steam and hit play. you can even play in bed with the 'eck. after about 10 minutes the brain engagement chemicals will kick in and you'll be good
>invest in a tub of gamer supps and
The artificial sugar they put in there had me kinda confused, because it really tastes pretty mild and nice if you mix it right.
What's your game completion percentage?
Single digits? Lol
>Try to buy Sengoku Rance during the GOG sale
>All of a sudden the site doesn't accept prepaid debit cards through Paypal anymore
This is so gay, I'm willingly trying to pay for a fricking porn game, give me a god damn break.
Gabe needs to get that stick out of his fricking ass and let more legit h-games onto steam, I'm sick of needing to skate around stupid e*ro payment processors.
just pirate it you moron
>tried Umihara Kawase
>can't beat it at all
Any games that (you) guys recommend for under $10 CAD? Interested in ARPGs and strategy games.
Mass Effect trilogy?
Into the Breach
Othercide
I heard Stray was$3
Yes I'm ignoring your preferences because you're a Black person with preconceptions
>Arpgs
Grim dawn, titan quest
Grim Dawn
Chronicon
I'm looking for games with cute boys
I know the C-gang has Nobeta etc but there isn't much I can see on this end.
I have 1bitheart
Sekiro
1bitheart is pretty good
OMORI is cuteboys-core
Oneshot(a)
our life beginning & always is pretty good, if you a game for actual homosexuals
if you want*
>picked up RDR2, the first Rockstar game I've played since GTA V's PC release
>can't play it because my Steam account is linked to an old Social Club account I set up a decade ago and no longer have access to
Beyond pissed. It's the first game I've bought in at least three years, too. It's bad enough to require it for online, but I ran into this problem when I tried to play LA Noire, a single player game from 2011.
paying this much for the VN? I will never understand this
>AA Trilogy
>System Shock
>Dorfromantik
But Ace Attorney bundle if it's not much more expensive.
>Just refund it.
I put in a support ticket. If they don't respond in the next day or two I'll refund it,
I'm looking for management games in the Vein of Free Cities, Bifrost, Jack O Nine Tales, Isekai Brothel, etc.
Anything good?
>tfw can't afford to get games now since i quit my job and right now is just living off what i have saved up for now.
Sail the high seas
Gather up all your hopes and dreams and sail the Grand Line to find the One Piece my guy
also good luck on the job search dont be like me and waste six months worth of savings for no reason
jobs a job. You can get one thats probs higher paying and with a better work environment easily enough.
Please recommend me some games where I can be a cool samurai. I've already played Sekiro and Way of the Samurai.
>cool samurai
>Sekiro
Nioh 1 and 2. You can build a Ninja too
Check out the Ninja Gaiden collection.
There's also Nioh
I'm in the same boat. Had to job hop. Don't let it get to you.
Nioh series, wo long game, samurai warriors franchise
Help me get this under $200. I heard mixed things on Sisters vs Sisters. I'm also not the biggest fan of highschool dating sims but I heard P5R was really good game play wise.
Get rid of all sequels of series you already played
It was his sled. It was his sled from when he was a kid. There, now you don't have to buy Persona.
The neptunia games are hot garbage. The atelier games also suck.
Persona 5 royal is not worth that price.
Octopath traveler 2 is not worth $60 what the frick.
Final fantasy 6 is longer.
Keep persona, drop everything else
what a horrible taste
Denuvo
Neptunia games are trash
Octopath is still way overpriced + Denuvo
Same with Triangle
The Senran games are kino buy those + DLC girls.
if you have your heart set on those games then drop the neptunia shit ant. from there Octopath 2 is meh and same with Triangle Strategy, Persona 5 R if you have never played it then it is worth it. Look into SMT 3 if you like JRPGS and persona's combat
Denuvo trash OUT
Neptunia games are shit
>Senran Kagura
Get real you fricking leaf
I got Horizon Zero Dawn, Shovel Knight and Lego DC Super Villains. I thought about getting The Last of Us and Jedi Survivor but I'm still using a 1070 because I'm a cheapskate.
>all slops
>horizon zero sales
>last of us
Don't bother. You might like dying light 1 more.
I got the Platinum in Horizon 1 and 2, I just wanted to replay it on PC with better graphics and mods. TLOU1 is also one of my favorite games ever, and same deal there. I thought Dying Light 1 was alright but not my cup of tea.
bump
Ahem
>STALKER
Use the CD keys on GoG so you can get a version that doesn't try and autoupdate every time you downgrade for a mod.
>Ringo
Based as frick. Great game and one of the best things I've been recommended on Ganker. If you like it buy Fading Afternoon.
Is Robert Cop worth it at this price? I just want a nice singleplayer shooter.
Adaca is 8/10 if you just skip the HL2 campaign and go zone patrolling
>buying Square Enix games
I hope you know Japanese
As someone who knows Japanese, there's a difference between translating the words and translating the character. And frankly, translating the same fricking line (extremely common in nip) over and over gets boring and it's fun to mix it up.
Cant wait for AI to replace you
Watching this post closely
what should I keep? 2 games max
Buy MGR twice.
>mgr
>$18
doesn't that usually go on sale for $5?
yeah mgr is a rip-off at that price. Used to go 75% off regularly
I would keep only ff7 remake, you can pirate the rest easily
MGR is the best game on that list but not at that price.
the person who recommended Troubleshooter should go kill himself
it's like xcom but completely insufferable, and the entire game reads like the text was stuffed through a dollar store machine translator
You basically have to get past the start of the game and then you have Xcom-combat autism. You playing for the story?
Mount and Blade II good yet? Or at least has some good mods?
Already bought against the storm as I enjoyed what I played of the demo earlier today.
Opinions on Stellaris? It seems like it would be decent entry point for grand strategy and it's sci-fi which appeals to me more than the history games, however I have heard mixed things about it outside of the DLC policies of Paradox such as screwing over larger empires recently.
Outside of that I might just get some Euro truck DLC and a small game or two and call it at that.
Just pirate Stellaris
You can ask about stellarisnon the thread in /vst/
The gist is
>Pirate the dlcs
>Stellaris is a RPG game first
>Pick your flavor on how to achieve total galaxy control
Panzer dragoon/house of the dead? yay or nay?
I'm a huge fan of both Panzer and the entire HOTD franchise. Both remakes are fricking shit. It brings me zero joy to say this. Just play Typing of the dead because at least that game is super easy to get working with light guns
I refunded half of the shit I bought and now I don't know what to buy instead
I want some rpg with interesting loot
Same
I now have 30 leaf tokens.
why did you refunded your vidya?
It wasn't fun
>I want some rpg with interesting loot
Diablo, Torchlight 1 and 2, Deus Ex 1-4?
What games did you refund?
Death Must Die
Dread Delusion
Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga - Legends
>Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga - Legends
Why didnt you like it?
What's the problem with Dread Delusion? I avoid anything made by Dread XP/New Blood because the guys involved with both have no qualms about launching shoddy or mediocre shit and put more care towards their marketing and memes than into the quality of their games.
REMINDER. A game marked as private will not show up on your profile but it WILL post on My Activity showing when you first played it and what achievements you got.
>pocky and rocky not on sale
Whelp.
Any interersting recs? Preferably 80% off.
Although pretty satisfied with what I grabbed.
>superflight
boring
>far cry
you need the 64-bit patch otherwise it's unplayable (enemies will wallhack)
>far cry 3
you may also want blood dragon and far cry 4
>far cry 5
you may also want new dawn
far cry 3+ require the ubisoft launcher
they're cheaper on fanatical btw
>fanatical
interesting
I don't think Superflight looks too bad, looks kinda cozy and silly like Snakeybus. It's 60 cents anyways.
bros, why have been the sales so shit now. I can't find anything worth buying for me anymore
>canadian dollars
>euros
>dollars
>Please help me keep it under 50$
What the frick? I thought all 1st world countries are ugly rich and spend 1000$ every sale.
There is a difference between spending more than you have to and being able to spend 1000 dollars
I'm not going to buy any EA game. I just want to know if you need Origin to launch their games.
yes, even some of the older games like mirror edge 2
Do you know about Titanfall 2?
>EA on-line activation and Origin client software installation and background use required
I'm sorry KINO campaign tho
Damn, thanks for checking though
Are they cheaper in Steam? Because there is no point to buy them there.
Because both aren't on sale and it fricking bothering me.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1128680/DOUBLE_INVASION/
You reminded me to tell people about an Adventures of Lolo knockoff that is on sale.
What are those games?
parody dating sim vn that takes place in world run by birds.
Midnight suns is going to be on the next humble choice.
Anyone know if the DLC are any good?
I just want something where I build shit. Don't care if it's theme parks, bases, houses, whatever. I just want to build
Dorfromantik comes to mind. Townscaper. Maybe that beaver game
>Dorfromantik
not my style
>Townscaper
already own
>beaver game
now this looks good. Thank you anon
No problem. I havent played either of those games, just seen them mentioned before
>elden meme is ~$25 for me
should I? a buddy said Bloodborne is better, and I played that a lot
Elden ring is open world DaS with jumping.
I had my issues with it but its definitely worth getting even for a full price.
nice I love/d DaS; thanks anon
elden ring suffers from being so big and open world but its not a bad game by any means. just like, a 7 or 8/10 on the souls scale which mogs most other AAA games coming out these days anyways
Any cheap PS3/PS4 era JRPGs for sale?
What should I get?
What should I drop?
drop the slop
The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa is pretty cool But you will notice the limits of the game pretty fast. There is time limits and no good guide (at least when I played so I needed to visit a lot of forums to find more events in the game). Atmosphere is top tier.
I would also recommend Arrest of a stone Buddha from the same author
Tokyo Dark is fricking stank, ditch it.
How is "Buck up and drive"
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1714590/Buck_Up_And_Drive/
Compared to Slipstream and Outrun?
Anyone wanna gift me eldenring

I've been having this cart for as long as the winter sale goes. I only have a budget of 17,5 dollars. Which games should i pick that fit the budget? I'm thinking of getting the Backpack Heroes game
Also what do you think about my cart in general?
Only people still playing EDF are japs, but they spam voice lines like any good anon so no worries.
OKay, now i reduced my games to a more manageable level. Now, they're still over my budget so any games that's good to pick and games i can safely remove?
>removed the best game and kept all the trash
moron
Which one, EDF?
yes, EDF is fun as frick.
drop zomboid
keep slay the spire
i don't know any of the others.
EDF is great and the japs still play multiplayer, that was anons point. Horizon's Gate is alright, but just pirate it unless you feel the need to support a dev. Rest of the list is garbage. Zomboid is a poor mans Cataclysm DDA.
Should i get Mechwarriors 5 and all of its dlcs? I like hot mecha on mecha action and the jumpship edition seems enticing.
I'm craving for some ADVENTURE lads.
The perfect games that scratched that itch were INFRA, The Northern Journey, 35MM, the first two Thief games, both Fear & Hunger entries.
Any advice?
You should try out LIDAR horror games like Scanner Sombre and that other LIDAR scifi game i forgot the name of
Dark Messiah
Gothic 1 and 2
Outer Wilds
Darkwood
thanks anons, turns out I already have all of those in my backlog. It is time for me to go, wish me luck on my journey
Outer Wilds. Its Infra on steroids
Is Extella Link any good if I didn't play the first Extella game? I'm not the biggest Fate fan but the game seems fun and decent price at 60% off.
I got steam gift cards but want absolutely nothing, all that's left is the weebshit that I didn't feel like wasting money on
>dorf fort
>weebshit
anon you should try out dorf fortess. that shit was really good
Alright, I'll look into it
Hell no
I figured, annoying that not a single company has ever managed to copy Monster Hunter without dropping the ball hardcore. I just hope they never decide to get lazy with it like Pokemon did.
Gift it to me then 🙂
klonoa bussy
Don't touch Toukiden, it's utter trash.
I probably won't even play them.
I only want to spend 25 bucks or so, what should I get? This is what looks most interesting on my wishlist, but Xenotilt is early access.
the only good games on there are Grandia
P&R Reshrined is great but that hits your budget by itself.
I've got a frickload of games, I don't want to buy a bunch more and then not play any until months later when I remember I have a frickload of games I haven't played yet.
It's the most interesting on my wishlist, so I'll give it a shot. The Ninja Warriors remake was awesome, so I trust the people who made it.
Tengo Project is 3 for 3 on excellent revivals of Natsume classics so that's sound logic. Looking forward to their KAGE remake.
I forgot they made Wild Guns Reloaded. I also have that in my library, so I guess it's a good call.
The citadel is alright i guess.
Thoughts?
Also any indie/early access recommendations?
I think you are stupid for asking for early access recs
if you're a broke boy just say so
MHW is great, don't know the rest.
Should I cut anything?
Pretty sure Pentiment is overhyped and not worth even at that price
Pretty sure?
Anybody played Control?
Yeah, since I have played it myself. Only seen it mentioned in former sales threads.
>Anybody played Control?
i have. it was good. not the greatest but good.
I did not enjoy Pentiment. It's dry but not academic, combined with a murder mystery that's just an excuse to dump more exposition text on you, it is passionless sex to a T.
OK, will probably drop it then.
I enjoyed it when I played it on Gamepass on my free trial month. It is more a VN than a real mystery though, doesnt feel like you can change the outcome of anything. Artstyle and atmosphere are great, and the writing is quite good
isn't Quantum Break another cutscene "game"?
Penitement is decent as a historical game. Not so much for the mystery, so don't try to get too invested in that part. Quantum Break is dogshit both gameplay and storywise. You'd think the TV show gimmick would be used to elevate the parts you play but the plot line and characters in the show are completely separate from the game part except for one or two intersections.
already checked out, but congratulate me anyway.
its like 10 bucks on game pass and you get like a 100 other games that might justify the money.
die
Todd is happy, hope you enjoy it.
absolutely disgusting
Will I enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 as a coomer?
ph is free, game is sleeper
Also, to thank you for your recs, here's some duplicate key I've got
BCJsevenP-IZVHI-DPPVthree
We Are The Dwarves
Once I finish 13 Sentinels I'll probably start working through these
what's that first game?
AI: The Somnium Files
>AI: The Somnium Files
The cover says AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative
Yeah its the sequel my bad
No worries, anon. I assume you have played the first one? How is it?
picking this up. For some reason I had removed it from my wishlist
>13 Sentinels
is it good? I hear its borderline a VN and i fricking hate VNs
If you consider persona to be a VN then 13 Sentinels is a VN by those standards. Most of the game is walking around hubs progressing the plot. Theres the RTS-esque gameplay (thats actually pretty good) but its not a majority.
>Celceta
YUCK, I hope you played all good games before this one, because that is not a good way to start with the series
How's the gator game, I like alligators
I havent played it but its basically like a Short Hike with a new set of toys and characters. Like a Playground/slice of life type game
more dialog than gameplay
>I like alligators
have you considered
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1760240/Skator_Gator/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1996470/Skator_Gator_3D/
this looks like a mobile game
the problem with mobile games is their monetization (which affects gameplay), they can be good concepts if done honestly
>no space kino
>no zombie kino
>no open world kino

thoughts on the mirror's edge sequel?
Mount & Blade II or Wartales for a medieval sim?
start from scratch
strike that reverse it
Don't buy rockstar shit until they stop selling broken shit with crack scene exes.
congrats on waking up from your coma
>Zed Zone
Has anyone played it? Only game I'm left on the fence about.
I bought it, barely played it (I buy far too many games). It's really ugly and you can get raped in the ass in earliest area in the game in under 5 minutes by some weird mutated zombies that you can't tell what they really look like because the game is fricking ugly. If that's your thing you might like it.
santa anon back again
first to post an affordable good game gets a present. People with bad taste get coal
Pulling the trigger or not?
>Paying 20 fricking Eurobux for Trepang2
The game is worth $5 USD on sale. It's 4 hours long and half the content isn't even the fun part (shooting soldiers). I don't even like Ultrakill that much but you'd be far better off buying Ultrakill, or maybe Turbo Overkill if you really want slo-mo, than that asset-flip tier game.
I want to suggest Severed Steel if you want a slo-mo FPS as well, it's on sale for 6 burger bucks.
Actually yeah that one's a lot closer to FEAR as well. It's short too IIRC, but 6 burgerbux is nothing.
alrighty, thanks for tip.
I haven't played Heaven's Vault yet. Sale is 60% atm.
Are these any good?
Vampire Survivors is addictive. I don't know if I'd call it good. I've played over 25 hours.
>Triangle strategy
fun game but a lot of exposition in the beginning. if you're not into that its going to be a yawnfest for the first few hours
Can you skip it, though?
if you don't care about the story then I guess you could and just randomly choose whatever story decisions you want.
you'll probably go through all the story routes if you 100% the game anyway
I'm seeing more of these games that are like Vampire Survivors popping up, are they any good? Are there any other random indie games that are decent? The farthest I've ever gone into the whole roguelike thing and the like are Binding of Isaac.
I thought I liked them and I own plenty of them but I am kind of getting bored of them. When I play I start to zone out and if I'm at all tired I will literally start falling asleep. Not enough of them actually try to innovate or have a proper hook like something unique to them compared to the rest. And those that try usually fail at coming up with anything that actually works.
what do you think of death must die? it looks pretty
The game really needs new characters and a new map etc it gets boring quick otherwise and it's one of the games that makes me space out constantly so I stopped playing and I am waiting for the ranger character so we can finally have 2 ranged characters instead of just 1.
sounds horrible lol removing it from cart, thanks for info
if you desperately want to try that style of game, VS is free on mobile and Holocure is just plain free
If you want a real roguelike, DoomRL is free and fairly approachable, or you could try Jupiter Hell, the spiritual successor.
nuc t has 60-120 fps options if you enable 2021 beta build in properties
theres a 2023 beta build but its shitty and buggy
NT also has stupid unreactable bullshit! frick that fricking game! I quit after I was doing well on a loop and an explosion plant rounded a fricking corner straight for me and I couldnt do anything but eat the hit and died instantly
Might get these. Opinions?
Dying Light 2 is boring. The discount for RE4 is really good, only good deal on a good game released this year
Will probably get RE4 for 25€ on Fanatical.
What's so bad about Dying Light 2? Had a lot of fun with the first game, slightly less so with the expansion.
is the dlc worth it for res 4?
re4 is kinda meh to be honest, I regret getting it.
Basically the way difficulty works is that Hard is actually easy and real Hard unlocks only after you finish the game once.
Also most of the shit feels like a poor imitation of the original game.
RE2re was much better.
RE4 is great. Manifold Garden's mostly just eye candy with easy puzzles.
dying light 2 is dogshit. Get dying light 1 or just other game.
I know cod is terrible but I like customising the guns and the zombie mode seemed OK when I tried it
apart from that, what should I remove? also, any VR recs? mostly looking for shooting games
please respond
just remove cod garbage come on, you're a grown ass man playing games made for 10 yos
This is what i'm looking at, everything else doesn't look good. recomend me some cheap cool games.
holy moley that chimera squad discount
>45 cents
i would pay 45 cents to not have to see this shit ever again
>$20 down to $0.45
May as well just give it away.
>patiently waiting for someone to post a cart with a game in it that I already have left over from the hundreds of bundles and shit so I can gift it to them instead
damn and I just activated mortal shell myself yesterday
I know I'm getting a 50 dollar gift card for christmas.
My wishlist is too long and 10 of those dollars are going into lethal company so I'm no longer the only member of my friend group who doesn't have it.
So, working off of 40 bucks to work with, I'm looking for general recs based on my highest priority Wishlist items
>The incest cannibals
>Cult of the Lamb
>The Long Drive
>Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (Only games in the series I haven't played now aside from the edgeworth games)
>Pizza Tower
>Rimworld
>Digimon Survive
>Imposter Factory
>YOMI Hustle
>The less popular early access dino survival game
>Oxygen Not Included
>Pit People
Out of these, which would you say are the most worth my money and why
>so I'm no longer the only member of my friend group who doesn't have it
SHEEP BAAAA BAAAAA BAAA SHEEEP
fricking endless stream of fotm shit diarrhea OOOOH STRIMMERS ARE PLAYING IT I GOTTA PLAY IT TOO BAAAAAAA
nice blog homosexual who gives a shit
>50 dollar gift card for christmas
>10 of those dollars are going into lethal company so I'm no longer the only member of my friend group who doesn't have it
why dont you try getting a job? zoomer gayget
Had one. Got fired, still looking for another one.
>Digimon Survive
I keep not pulling the trigger on this and some open world slop like horizon and fallout 4.
Is Near A Tomato any good or was it just coom bait?
It depends - if you have shit taste in video games or not meaning if you're an actual gamer who likes video games or a filthy casul slop eating goy.
Its good. Not great, not terrible. Not sure how much it is going on for right now but 20 bucks seems about right for an okay game that you are interested in with a side of dick pulling.
Not sure if I should get some gud deals now or save my shekels for games coming out in Feb and March. What do? I'm poor. I really want P3R and Dragon's Dogma, but I also want Baldur's Gate and the Yakuza Collection.
just pirate them you dumb frick. If you have the disposable income buy them, if not just pirate them.
I have some mental thing where I can't enjoy a game if I pirate it because it feels cheap. It's a wall I can't really overcome.
The only dangers of pirating is if the game releases a buggy mess.
here you go, one of the reasons you're poor
I have the opposite problem. When I pay for a game, I have to play them for it to not have been a waste, and the stress makes me not enjoy the game. So I end up playing more pirated games than legally bought ones.
Groups usually rerelease the game with all the dlc. It often works better because there is no online drm bs.
get DD2(denuvo), pirate the rest.
Does ME1 without the recent changes hold up to this day? Thinking about pirating it and playing through 1,2,3.
Gonna get this, couldn't really find anything else i was interested in.
All my life I've been pirating PC games but I've created steam account just today to get Death must Die to support the devs.
how does it compare to halls of torment? i feel like there wasn't much depth to halls of torment in comparison to vampire survivor, and it also wasn't as fun to play as brotato.
Currently I'm casual frick who plays one gacha game regularly and like 3 full titles a year so I have no comparison.
I played pirated one for over a week but it's already behind with shop offering higher level items in paid version.
promise you don't buy any other games
keep pirating
no, everyone claiming they bought games is just a shill/bot
Don't buy early access games.
ok, but play the pirated version, don't install steam
Hello dev
I'm
just get it from igg torrent jesus christ.
I've been pirating whenever possible since mid 90s. Other than that buying and reselling physical.
hell, I even sold my PSN account when I got rid of my PS4 few years back. I earned more on niche games than I wasted.
Buy an ad.
>>>
Vidya
Does Ganker really?
Why isn't fallout 4 on epic game store?
I wonder if it's going to be the free game today.
I bought Antichamer, Cruelty Squad and Westerado, already almost done with all of them.
Anyone knows of any 2d games where you can upgrade your character forever and be overpowered?
Astlibra.
Are there any games like fallout shelter that arent mobile cash grabs?
Is Making Lover good? I feel kinda lonely those days. I need VN, where I can talk to girls without childish humor or cringe. Just a guy meets a girl, she likes him and they start fricking.
Thread has reached 500 replies
The problem with buying from key sites is the literal fact you don't get any steam points for buying those games.
No, the problem is that you can't refund shit
No, the problem is that your review will have a disclaimer which causes people second guess it.
(Even though they should pay more attention to your review because you're smart enough to buy games for cheap.)
most stream reviews are useless anyway
>this game is great i love it so much its so addictive
>2 hours on record
>posted a year ago
>review
seriously homie, who gives a frick
You don't understand Steam culture.
We're not the same.
Pidgey
>culture
underage moron desperate for any kind of social validation
Yet you spend time in steam cart rating threads.
Use the web interface. If that doesn't work, use other key sites such as Humble Store, Fanatical, or GOG.
Who cares about steam points?
my steam store just broke bros but i NEED to spend money
