What do you mean buy games? Everything new is for trannies and bearfrickers. If its past 2021 made, no fricking way im buying unless its A. NINTENDO game (those are 100% safe for work) B. A DRIVING game (nobody has sick fantasies in a car game. Its just cars.) C. MINECRAFT (its visually so ugly its safe to play).
In fact im planning on buying a traditional card game kit and board games so that it never gets updates and always stays offline without some woke troony expansions or other modern cringe.
At most if im gonna buy something, its Age of Empires 4. Frick everything else
>Boomers completely ruin everything pushing and enforcing their politics and cultural revolution >OMG why don't zoomers do the things we do?
fricking hell
Of the newer ones, really it was only World Seeker I liked, even if it was janky. I even got the EU version which was the only one to have the spa island DLC (even though you can go there in post-game to collect the chests). For some reason, EU Xbox and PS4 were the only ones that could have this content (picrel)
Something was comfy about having Luffy to launch around. And I enjoyed collecting and cataloguing all the chests and doing 100% completion.
Just don't play it on higher difficulties, the cheap padding of health and damage is dumb. There's no benefit to going past normal.
I'll always have a soft spot for Unlimited Adventure and Cruise. It was something so unique and chill on the Wii. Really the best way they could've done an adventure One Piece game, where all the Straw Hats are playable, and it was all about exploring everywhere on the islands to get resources for progression.
Unlimited World Red is a false hijack of the name for advertising, it's nothing like Adventure/Cruise (much like DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi hijacked the Tenkaichi name).
Finished No Straight Roads (5 hours), I'm going to say it wasn't worth it. If you're curious about the story (its best aspect), watch a YouTube video, gameplay is not great nor side quests (too few and too lame). Feels like they didn't know what to do with the momentum they built during some missions.
Hi-Fi Rush is a way better alternative.
>Parkitect
God no. Just play Open RCT2, or if you've done that to death then play some other genre.
Parkitect is a bland imitation not even worth installing.
>Borderlands 1
I mean Lilith being overpowered is kinda fun the first time but it's the 3rd best borderlands game.
Why are silent hill games still not on steam?
Guy cihi moral gayged too hard about the remakes and they are spiting him.
Pls rate
I don't know much about these games looks like all indie stuff.
Recommend me good multiplayer games on Steam, I'm gonna start being a piratebro for the singleplayer ones like Spider-Man and Lost Judgement
Rising storm Vietnam
Didn't buy all of these, but what I got during the sale was: >Crab Champions >Duck Game >Ducktales Remastered >Dragon Quest 11 >Deep Rock Galactic >Dead Cells >Fallout 4 >Hylics >Subnautica >Jackbox Party Pack 3
No. It is my honor and privilege.
But literally anyone else could tell. Most of the games you picked aren't really titles you'll ever look at twice. Literally just padding to make your backlog look more impressive than it is, like a cheap anime bawd's rack.
You're not a cheap anime bawd, are you, anon? I know you. You know I know you. It doesn't have to be like this.
I can assure you, I really want to play all of these games.
But because I'm a completionist, while it takes me many hours to finish a game, I keep buying again and again, at the end, for 1 game completed I have 20 new games to play
>anon's sisyphean backlog

Shilling this one. 4 homies 5 nigresses in a row dungeon crawler. Story is irrelevant and has some level of verbose, can be summed up by "the princess is in yet another castle". Combat is challenging but fair, both for regular fights and boss fights, based on a limited resource, so the strongest or most useful spells can't be spammed, while also having the usual MP for mid-tier abilities, and you really can't out-level or out-equip the content. A lot of content. Balance gets whacky for playable characters, so a lot of them gets shafted later in the game, specially on post game, but you will still want to switch up some members depending on the dungeon or boss. Really solid game all-around.
ive pirated dead stranding andI find myself enjoying it more and more
what do the multiplayer functions offer over me playing offline and are they worth it? All i know is that people can also build stuff somehow in your world and i like the idea, but if the mutliplayer is completely dead i see no point in buying the game. Can i get some input?
The multiplayer is live so you will be seeing lots of buildings and you will be able to help people (you can drop ammo and grenades so that other people can use them during boss fights) I find it adorable that more you like somebody more of their buildings will you see
buy it fren, you can use my road and zip line
DS is unfiltered KINO
sounds swell, is this game endless?
Havent expected it to click the way it does after trying it one year ago and being unimpressed.
is metro exodus good? I think I never considered it because of all the changes compared to previous games
no clue, ive got the metro bundle but 2033 and last light had movement drift bug so i refunded. That left a sour taste so now i advise against buying it. maybe someone else can answer your question
it's not endless but getting all achievements is autistic fun (getting all stars). I did it twice and loved it. when you finish the game you can finish up everything, nothing is missable.
okay good i like my games long
another multiplayer question
i see it got only 200 people playing
will i see all the structures build by other people or do i need to be friends with someone to see their structures or how does it work? Im considering buying it for mp alone but if the game will be as barren as it is right now i see no point in getting it
Those broken roads all over? You actually get to use them. I played it pirated first too and it's definitely more fun with the shared construction stuff.
control and metro are often on a sale i would get something else or even pirate boths
titanfall is old af have you checked steam charts if its worth it?
other games look really mediocre
I checked TF2 for another anon. Surprisingly the lowest amount of players online was 600, and that was before this sale. Both Metro and Control are at their lowest ever right now
control is regularly on sale for 10 bucks and so is metro for 6, id use that money and buy something more expensive and get back to both games some other time or just pirate them
should I get diablo 2 resurrected? I never played it but I like arpg, played mostly PoE but a few others too. The gameplay looks kinda dated though, like not having a skill bar, potions etc. so I feel like I won't like it too much
Resurrected has a skill bar and potion hotkeys? It might not be visible when playing with a controller which you can also do in the ressurected version. The classes/builds are rebalanced too so there is a lot more variety compared to the original. The visual upgrade is pretty nice too. Maintains the old art style. I might be biased but I think D2 has always been top tier. I won't say perfect or the absolute best because I'm a rational adult, but still pretty darn good.
>I might be biased but I think D2 has always been top tier
I looked a bit into items and builds and I'm sure that part I will like but when I tried a bit the original D2 I just put it down because of how dated it felt, if they added a bit of qol in the new version I might get it next time it goes on sale.
I assumed it was on sale since you asked about it in a sale thread. Wait for a discount at least. Grim Dawn is another good option although I don't believe it is on sale. That game has a ton of build variety and mods to try as well.
Didn't buy all of these, but what I got during the sale was: >Crab Champions >Duck Game >Ducktales Remastered >Dragon Quest 11 >Deep Rock Galactic >Dead Cells >Fallout 4 >Hylics >Subnautica >Jackbox Party Pack 3
>couldn’t participate in the steam sale because I was at Anime Expo and AX sexually assaulted my wallet >don’t get paid again until after the sale ends
I replay Ground Control 2's campaign a few times each year. It's old but good. It's one of those RTSs where each race technically has their own campaign, but they take place chronologically one after another so they're both canon.
Painscreek Killings
Return of Obra Dinn
Her Story (fairly short)
Hand with many fingers (short)
Infra
Firewatch (maybe)
Disco Elysium
Tangle Tower
Outer Wilds
No, I enjoy the frick out of most Zelda games and many Nintendo game. BOTW is just a shit game. If you like it for the "So bad it's good" reasoning then I understand
I tossed together what I've bought and what I've had sitting in my cart for a few days. I'm in a really good mood today after a very bad week so I'm probably gonna pull the trigger on what I've got just thought I'd toss it out for random anons to try and dissuade me in vain.
Yeah, it's as good as a remake can get. Aesthetically it's better than the originals, there's new content and voicelines, improved physics, etc. It's great.
It actually got some shit in reviews for still being too much of a PS2 game, so just get it if you don't mind a campy, fun game from that era.
Frick you Black person try me Black person go ahead you fricking pussy. no Black person, you listen here. you claimed you can recomend me games that arent "basic b***h" and i havent heard of
then you list games from the store front like a mouthbreather that you are ignoring absolutely everything these games are like, take the hutn for example. its a pvp game, no game i have listed is a pvp game only small fraction has an optional pvp mode and thats dark souls. then you list gtfo, a game where its mostly stealth and again, a game i know about since release.
take a knife and goughe out your eyes, seriously

You'll never be a woman.
But, I suggest playing the following:
ASTLIBRA, if you're into JRPGs
Outer Wilds, if you like logic puzzles
Stardew Valley, if you''re a basic b***h without a social life
Subnautica, if you want something scary
Lots of good stuff here, Anon. >Doom 2016 >Ys >Deus Ex (would get a bundle with HR and MD too) >Alan Wake >Hotline Miami >Acr Attorney >Grandia >Spelunky >Eldritch >EYE >Dragon's Dogma >Hal Life Complete
Can testify to all of these being excellent.
Get Dark Messiah too.
I suspect KiD is still going to be just as shit as the last time I played it but I have faith this 2$ pc port won't have screen tearing out the ass like the console version.
Barotrauma chads I absolutely fricking despise playing with other people but this game looks so fricking good. How doable is it in Solo? I really don't mind a challenge but I'm not trying to bang my head against a wall for hours to complete a stage
Nvm apparently Fear 1 is banned on German steam and 2 and 3 only have low violence versions. That is pretty unusual. Fricking Agony and Succubus came out uncut here. What a meme
be honest, is it worth it for under 10 USD, with all the dlc included in the price? thought the 2013 tomb raider sucked, but rise of the tomb raider was enjoyable
>BWOOHOOOO GAMING IS DEAD >I ALSO ONLY PLAY THE FOREFRONT OF MASS CONSUMER GRADE VIDEO GAMES MADE WITHOUT ANY SOUL OR CREATIVITY AND ONLY EXIST TO SIPHON MY WALLET >BWOOHOOO YOU CANT HELP ME IVE ALREADY PLAYED EVERYTHING

Flat out avoid anything by Bandai or Koei.
Otherwise, are you willing to roll with J-Indie/Indonesian stuff or just want AAA Jap devs?
>Already owned and played 🙁
The other Ys games of that era, too?
I know almost nothing about animu so I'll suggest Dragon Quest 11 and Troubleshooter

Honestly as someone who has owned the game from launch, no. I personally find it better to just buy a state at a time when they sales on 'em for >50% which tends to happen when they launch new states and stuff. You're paying for a lot of extra cosmetic junk and trailer/rig DLC, but if you really REALLY like the content knock yourself out I just think it's too much all at once.
Sup bros, can you recommend me any more action horror rpg shooter/slasher roguelite strategy games with looting mechanics? I already played >Dark Souls >DOOM >Total Warhammer >Baba is You >King's Bounty >Dead Space >Portal 2 >
>buy Amazon mmo >character creator has "body type" and not gender >finish making character >asks for pronouns
holy fricking refunded, how was this pozzed trash ever popular
Recommend picking up Spark 1 too if you haven't played it
>Rabi-Ribi
You'll get two DLC free, but get Order DLC and Cocoa Mode & Before Next. It's like $0.50 less than getting the Super UPRPRC Edition to not wasting time with the artbook and OST
Hyper UPRPRC Edition comes with Orchestra Skin and OST plus at $21.60 total versus $17.40 for just the gameplay stuff. >Prodigal
I can't fully recommend this one. There's a demo if you're curious. >Spark the Jester 3
Try the demo. It's like Sonic Forces but less janky, but the cast are goddamn idiots. >A Hat in Time
$20 isn't bad for the full shit since it's cheaper to get "Ultimate" than the content-only pieces. The base game has appeared in $1 tier bundles but considering all the fanmade mods and original/imported maps, you're definitely gonna get your money's worth out of it.
Shadow Tactics isn't my usual thing but it regularly appears in bundles, never heard of Graze Counter, and Ruina is fricking insane.

enjoying it quite a bit though i've kind of hit a road bump in progression and it's stalled out a bit >Kenshi
haven't tried it yet but i did get some nice QOL non-easy mode mod suggestions for when i finally fire it up
still considering >Grim Dawn >Outward >Unavowed >Fates of Ort >Darkwood >Crystal Project >Time Break Chronicles >Yakuza Like A Dragon
of Ort
Big recommend, very interesting magic system. Though unfortunately a bit unbalanced, especially if you go the "evil" route where spell costs are dealt with in a different way
if you like turn based games it's a lot of fun. it's very MCU inspired in terms of the character's personalities but not entirely insufferable. i would personally hold out until the game+season pass go on sale together for a deep discount, it's 4 characters which is a good amount of content.
>there is nothing to play >you can play this dogshit garbage games

Yet here you are seeking for something that, according to yourself, doesn't exist. You truly are a mentally handicapped motherfricker.
literaly first fricking page of horror games in steam categories but somehow i made it up right
maybe i should tax you people next time for browsing steam categories since im the inventor of them
Doom 2016 is really, really boring.
I didn't realize how drastic the situation was surrounding FPS during that timeframe for it to be worshipped like the seconding coming of Christ.
Yeah it's nice to know some of the characters, but it's not required. People making vidya nowadays know that most people buying them weren't alive when FF1 came out
Aside from knowing the characters there aren't that much of a similarity, so finishing FF1 isn't needed. Like the other anon said, devs make games with the knowledge that zoomers will be buying their game. I don't blame them, FF1 is older than me and I was born in the 80's
Oh, this one has the meme review from the supposed old man professor, doesn't it? >My wife told me to take better care of myself, but I just end up playing this game for 1,000 hrs!
Holy kek, can't be real. Game looks awesome, though.
I don't remember much about it, only that it was pretty forgettable. Not bad, not good, just yet another game to kill time rather than give you a lasting experience.
It went free in 2021 so there's that. It's pretty fun but it's like a solid 10-15 hours per act and there's like 4 acts in the game. Not to mention that the "real" playthrough starts when you go into NG+ on Epic and Legendary difficulty.
If you don't have the brand of autism that requires you play older games in a series to see how they've progressed then just get Grim Dawn.
Grim Dawn is made by the same people but has a lot more QOL improvements.
Spelunky 2 is good but only get it if you enjoy games with demonic difficulty because it's a very difficult game with lot of trial and error
that version of monkey ball is broken, or at least it was, forgot to mention that
Updated my list based on your recommendations. I may also get the La Mulana bundle
Also, anyone tried the Megaman Legacy Collection bundles? are they well done or am I better off just emulating them
>Also, anyone tried the Megaman Legacy Collection bundles? are they well done or am I better off just emulating them
They are objectively worse than emulating but still playable. Just get Mega Man 11, that's a cheap and fun game.
its not a forced ratio, you can lean heavily one side or the other. you can actually beat the game without doing dungeons at all but i would not recommend that.
Looking for a game to sink some hours into. Haven't played Payday 2 in years and don't really feel like going back to it. Is Foxhole any good? I heard the devs are making another game and that the playerbase is supposedly dwindling. I'd also take any recommendations as to something else to play.
Foxhole is a bit of a hard sell. I haven't played it in a long time due mostly to me just not feeling like I don't have the time to play something like that. I'm not sure what kind of playstyle you would like but as someone who mostly neglected doing logistics and would just do grunt work with some friends you can definitely feel like you're not accomplishing much. When big events happen it can feel really cool but there is a lot of time where it can feel like a slog.
You could wait a couple of months for Payday 3? the dev showcase gameplay looks more interesting than that awful trailer they had. the DLC editions look like a scam though
anyone in the 500+ games gang just buying games to complete collections and shit like that?
I got tomb raider underworld just to finish that trilogy and hellblade to finish all my schizo core games
I got the three nu tomb raider games and the crystal dynamic revivals but only because I like those two eras of Lara. Weird being a completionist on Steam especially if you can’t really display your shit
The story's a bit weird but the gameplay shouldn't filter anyone. There's a few short tutorial videos in-game that explain everything. Please don't go in and say "oh I don't understand this mechanic, guess the game is just inscrutable LOL"
The gameplay is way too good and shouldn't fall victim to that meme
Eye is piss easy. You have infinite healing right from the start and using any armor above the lighest makes you borderline invincible.
Go in blind for EYE, there’s so much to it that a new playthrough can feel completely different
And this is a lie.
It has very few options and you have 99% of your effective selection at the start with the rest being locked behind an absurd grind. It has 3-4 types of enemies, very few maps and only one story.
Any good reason not to get any of these?
For some reason I just had an urge to find a firefighter game and this was the first one I saw that actually had consistently good reviews.
Dread Templar simply isn't good enough for the price. Its a bundle game. It has above average map design for a 'boomer shooter', but its just far too easy; even the 15 foot miniboss tier enemies die in like 2-3 shots from any gun above the weakest. Bosses take a lot of damage (so much you can run out of ammo enitely so they have ammo in their maps) but they're too easy to dodge.
I am on the fence about this. But I do want that digital artbook.
Might and Magic is massively overhyped but its wort h that much.
Sleeping Dogs is boring. Bland MC, easy combat, empty feeling world.

I mostly look at Fanatical but I should start checking Humble yeah. Was looking into DT since it seemed more interesting than Boltgun mechanically.

2 has very common issues with tying AI to framerate, resulting in your allies repeatedly trying to then failing to devour, making them leveling you up simply not work at all. It also has a cool super mode, but you get it near the end of the game.
3 is essentially just 2 - that mode but with consistently working AI.
So get 3.
And do you guys have any opinion about Toukiden 2? I really like the aesthetics but apparently it is quite mediocre.
Incredibly inferior MH clone that costs more than both the MH games people actually play.
That's really all there is to it. If it was, like, half its current price, it could be okay as a novelty, but the price is really just stupid.
If you're just asking what the best MH clone is then gameplay-wise it's Wild Hearts, you just need to get around or deal with how fricked the PC performance is.
GE3 was developed by Marvelous instead of Shift if that makes any difference.

Symphony of War The Nephilim Saga was one of my top games from last year, it's Ogre Battle squad customization with maps/presentation closer to 2000s Fire Emblem.

Have an aversion to touhou?
Because if not, this is pretty fricking great, most of the characters have really fricking unique abilities and synergies I haven't seen in any other RPG.
Not him but what do you mean by synergies?
Partymember to partymember or partymember with specific weapons, or specific party members getting boosts/debuffs in different maps?
nta but you have damage dealers, healers, debuffers, and buffers, and the way mana works is you need to swap characters out to get it back midfight, so fights become a tug of war where you are try to stay in a spot where you have high initiative while also keeping your party's damage buffed, the enemy debuffed, your party healed, and your mana high, and there are different buffs/debuffs for different things so combat becomes this intricate web.
A few groups of party members that all give passive buffs to eachother when on the frontline for using a full set of 3/4 characters
A few pairs of members that pair with eachother to significantly buff eachother.
2 members that buff eachother when they're NOT in the front together
Class/Character synergies such as a subclass choices that strengthens your healer to be even better at healing, or instead of that adds stat buffs to your heals.
Characters that buff X type of damage for other characters that primarily use X type of damage
One character that buffs the chance of status effects working to even get past the "100%" death resistance numerous bosses/enemies have (though some bosses late game start going up to 200% instant death resist)
One neat pairing is Kogasa inflicting the Terror status effect, and Parsee gaining significant damage bonus against enemies with Terror. Parsee also gains damage the more allies are debuffed so its another pairing that works with Hina's mass debuffer ability.
Game is heavily reliant on swapping your 12 characters around during most battles to either avoid damage, buff, or just go apeshit on damage once its safe.
So it is batshit crazy but more interesting than the usual party setup.
its not really crazy, its just cleverly designed in a way that prevents combat from being braindead EO rotations while also not leaning on vancian magic system resource management like traditional Wiz. you actually have to puzzle out what you're going to do on a per encounter basis which is further altered by your character's different abilities

Seconding both touhou games, and I despise touhougays. Aside from that:
Tales of Maj'eyal (free but also really cheap on steam)
Labyrinth of Refrain / Galleria
Xanadu
>Add Sleeping Dogs to cart because $3 and I hear it's very good >mfw all the DLC
Is literally ANY of this worthwhile? Zodiac Tournament is the only one that comes across as real content.
How the frick are you even seeing the DLC? They don't even sell the original version anymore, the definitive version is 3 bucks and it doesn't list any of the DLC, it all comes with it.
While yeah most are weapons/clothing...
Triad Enforcer
Year of the Snake
Red Envelope (get loot)
Street Racer
SWAT
Nightmare in North Point
Drunken Fist

Wheels of Fury
Year of the Snake
said are just in Definitive? Weird that they'd even have them still on the store.

Most shmups and bullet hells can provide that, given that you're into the genre. Same for some of the popular puzzle games like Baba is You, Tales Principle and The Witness. I Want To Be That Guy (IWTBG), Bosshy (however you type it) and related games are all free, I think, and are in the platformer genre and sometimes sprinkle some bullet hell into it.
bought code vein
made a cute freckle fart from kmart
the actual game is alright too, although to be fair I've never played a souls/like game before so my standards probably aren't that high. somehow haven't died yet
Boy I sure hope the dev is busy working on 3 instead of shilling 2 here
Also im not sure if he even speaks english that well since he just comissioned the dudes who did the fan translation to add into the game for real
have you played strive? you know how strive was so boring you could hit celestial in a week and then there was nothing to do but grind a shitty shallow game where all the top tiers are the most braindead boring characters? well sf6 is for strive players, so draw whatever conclusion you want there. you also feel like a proper fricking idiot when you walk into a lobby and everyone's avatar is a black guy, so look forward to that.
First truly great Capcom fighter since Marvel 3 IMO, has a few issues but if you just want a lot of people and good netcode then you're good. Also it's $51 on Fanatical.

>GOOD FISHING GAMES
Someone recommend me the best fishing and/or farming mechanics you can find in a game that's not JUST fishing or farming. I've already played enough Rune Factory, Stardew, and Sun Haven to choke a fricking mule.
People who either never played Live A Live and think its something new and unique, or people who loved Live A Live and are desperate for something to fill the void.

So nothing even mechanically special? Thanks for warning me.
Its not BAD, its just everything outside the neat looking environments is just totally bog standard shit for open world crafting survival shit. I remember it did crack me up that you go inside a thrown out soda can and you can collect the little droplets of soda for ez drinks

>castlevania advance collection
I looked it up and seen that the collection was done by M2. They do those really high quality shmup/STG ports and are really autistic so they get input lag really low and arcade accuracy 1:1 on top of a bunch of other knick knacks usually. I'll check it out.

I don't know who you're referring to, but for me it just seemed like a pretty generic and bland game. I don't hate nor post negative stuff about it, indifference is all I have towards that game.
Anyone have horror game recs? I'm a survival horror fanatic so there are very few I haven't played. I won't list them all but all classics I've played, SH, RE, Siren, Fatal Frame, Dino Crisis, even have played Tormented Souls, Lost In Vivo, Signalis. Anything close I've played too, Evil Within games, Alien Isolation, Amnesia, Alan Wake, Signalis.
I've heard good things of "Them and Us" and "Alisa" for something similar to RE.
If you liked Amensia and you can look at the Penumbra series. They're basically prototypes for Amnesia, all made by Frictional Games. Soma is Amnesia in space, also by Frictional Games.
Condemned Criminal Origins is great. Last time I tried to play it on Windows 7 and it was missing some sounds and visual effects, so you may have to do some troubleshooting.
Visage seems interesting. It looks similar to PT if you were interested in that at all

I have no idea why I love this game as much as I do, but I truly love it - warts and all.
Somebody one day is gonna have to tell me why people cum buckets over Control. Looks bland as a plate of piss with very pretty effects.

Did you find it yet?
Not yet, just started.
I do intend to at least try every single game released so far.
What is it with Spaniards and one piece?
Thats portuguese homosexual, not spanish
The right one is good
All dynasty games are shit and these ones aren't an exception just because you know the series and get to go
>hey I remember that
Of the newer ones, really it was only World Seeker I liked, even if it was janky.
Would get ff5 but its not on sale. Some good rpg reccs would be nice.
Remove dave. Not worth it this sale. Hotline Miami is great.
Maybe Voidspire Tactics? It has a job system like FFV's.
Crystal Project is on sale.
Eldritch and HM 1 and 2 are great
>Silent hill
>Steam sale
?!?!
how are the nu-squaresoft games?
like live a live or octopath traveler?
Is it worth it?
>Parkitect
God no. Just play Open RCT2, or if you've done that to death then play some other genre.
Parkitect is a bland imitation not even worth installing.
>Borderlands 1
I mean Lilith being overpowered is kinda fun the first time but it's the 3rd best borderlands game.
Guy cihi moral gayged too hard about the remakes and they are spiting him.

Anon no.
Deedlit and Alice are not great. Not terrible, but I wouldn't pay for them.
Don't forget to buy UNSIGHTED.
Crosscode but worse in most regards judging by the demo, still seemed OK. Cringe writing. Maybe on a deep sale.
Why are silent hill games still not on steam?
SH1 never got a proper port and 2&3 will always be in Hell now because of the voice acting drama. I assume GOG has some deal with SH4.
Why would you buy games if you can emulate them ?
drop some poorgay recs

How do you know? Stop stalking me
But because I'm a completionist, while it takes me many hours to finish a game, I keep buying again and again, at the end, for 1 game completed I have 20 new games to play
>anon's sisyphean backlog
truly an hell of unimaginable magnitude
I need immortality, otherwise I won't be able to fully finish all the games in my backlog
Easily done if you're a wizard. Just spec into lichdom at 50.
What's the problem? Don't tell me you somehow managed to find time for a 3dpd prostitute with a gaymer grindset mindset and a backlog like that...
3dpd ? I'd be stupid to waste my time with something like that.
I wish I never had sex the first time. I was so close to 30 as well
Personally, I'm a 27 years old virgin and I don't give a single frick about it
Good on you. I didnt care either, but then a semen demon fell into my lap after doing nofap for a couple of months during covid. No joke. Regret it now though. If we had become a couple then it would be fine, but she wasnt interested in that. Just sex. God, I hate women
Don't fall for succubus or real women, waifus are far better, they don't get old and they don't bother you with stupid things
Waifus are just a crutch, but I agree with the first part.
Then we can be friend & crush these succubus
Stop posting the same damn list in every thread.
Sorry if it bothers you, it's not my intention

Traffic Fever 2 and Potionomics
Can someone sell me on the Ninja Gaiden Collection? Is it as hard as Ganker says?
Also, shoud I buy Sigma 1 or 2?
why does no one ever answer me...
Dont buy bad ported games bro, not worth it
ive pirated dead stranding andI find myself enjoying it more and more
what do the multiplayer functions offer over me playing offline and are they worth it? All i know is that people can also build stuff somehow in your world and i like the idea, but if the mutliplayer is completely dead i see no point in buying the game. Can i get some input?
The multiplayer is live so you will be seeing lots of buildings and you will be able to help people (you can drop ammo and grenades so that other people can use them during boss fights) I find it adorable that more you like somebody more of their buildings will you see
sounds swell, is this game endless?
Havent expected it to click the way it does after trying it one year ago and being unimpressed.
no clue, ive got the metro bundle but 2033 and last light had movement drift bug so i refunded.
Im considering buying it for mp alone but if the game will be as barren as it is right now i see no point in getting it
you have to on the same server and you can "make connections" with specific players (which is neat)
buy it fren, you can use my road and zip line
DS is unfiltered KINO
Those broken roads all over? You actually get to use them. I played it pirated first too and it's definitely more fun with the shared construction stuff.
Second cart. I have tried to get some input on this in earlier thread, but got ignored
Dont worry anon I wont ignore (You)!
control and metro are often on a sale i would get something else or even pirate boths
titanfall is old af have you checked steam charts if its worth it?
other games look really mediocre
is metro exodus good? I think I never considered it because of all the changes compared to previous games
I checked TF2 for another anon. Surprisingly the lowest amount of players online was 600, and that was before this sale. Both Metro and Control are at their lowest ever right now
Thanks anon, that is kind.
control is regularly on sale for 10 bucks and so is metro for 6, id use that money and buy something more expensive and get back to both games some other time or just pirate them
should I get diablo 2 resurrected?
Recommend me good multiplayer games on Steam, I'm gonna start being a piratebro for the singleplayer ones like Spider-Man and Lost Judgement
P4G and Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Didn't buy all of these, but what I got during the sale was:
>Crab Champions
>Duck Game
>Ducktales Remastered
>Dragon Quest 11
>Deep Rock Galactic
>Dead Cells
>Fallout 4
>Hylics
>Subnautica
>Jackbox Party Pack 3
>Fallout 4
I hope you got Far Harbor dlc, cause that's the only decent thing about FO4.
>couldn’t participate in the steam sale because I was at Anime Expo and AX sexually assaulted my wallet
>don’t get paid again until after the sale ends
Just use credit. 33% interest aint that bad imo tbh senpai
Are the any decent non porn games that are actually new from like 2022-2023 with breast physics?
Mediaval Dynasty worth? Playable solo or do you need a friend?
Any RTS games with good single player campaigns? Are any of the Anno 1800 dlc necessary?
I replay Ground Control 2's campaign a few times each year. It's old but good. It's one of those RTSs where each race technically has their own campaign, but they take place chronologically one after another so they're both canon.
What are some good mystery games?
Paranormasight
Disco Elysium
Obra Dinn
Sherlock Holmes and the Awakened (the original ver)
Death Mark
World of Horror
Outer Wilds
Painscreek Killings
Return of Obra Dinn
Her Story (fairly short)
Hand with many fingers (short)
Infra
Firewatch (maybe)
Disco Elysium
Tangle Tower
Outer Wilds
stop posting shitty games
yes my queen
Alright, here's my 3x3. What games should I get on the steam sale?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1600780
Frick you
>botw in top 9
I think you're on the wrong website
Forgot this was a Nintendo-tsundere board for a second.
No, I enjoy the frick out of most Zelda games and many Nintendo game. BOTW is just a shit game. If you like it for the "So bad it's good" reasoning then I understand
Outward
Mecha Knights: Nightmare
Killer is Dead
Northern Journey.
Assault Spy
Sonic Frontiers
Spark The Electric Jester 3
Worlds
Just Udongein X and Zeroranger for the moment, and i don't regret it, just for Zeroranger
Dong X is 1$ on my shitty sub-human currency, wtf. It's cheaper than a single bread.
Just bought AEW Fight Forever
Jealous?
Op here I do t even know what that is
I tossed together what I've bought and what I've had sitting in my cart for a few days. I'm in a really good mood today after a very bad week so I'm probably gonna pull the trigger on what I've got just thought I'd toss it out for random anons to try and dissuade me in vain.
>page 8
the absolute state of steam ''sales''
Is SM a decent coomervania?
any feedback?
I really enjoyed N of Decay. Make sure to play on normal ( at least the first time )
My brain, my muscles, my sexual reproductive organs are all very big and veiny. I drink beer and love smoking brisket, what do you recommend?
Celeste
Not him but
Frick you
I am him
kick rocks
boltgun
Got Boltgun already, the library level made me feel like I definitely did not have a huge veiny brain.
now I will suggest GUN and metal wolf chaos to you. why? because it's befitting for a man of your described caliber
I completely forgot about Metal Wolf, love me mechs thanks anon. I’ll check out GUN too.
Did the remake of Destroy All Humans end up being good?
Yeah, it's as good as a remake can get. Aesthetically it's better than the originals, there's new content and voicelines, improved physics, etc. It's great.
It actually got some shit in reviews for still being too much of a PS2 game, so just get it if you don't mind a campy, fun game from that era.
>for still being too much of a PS2 game
meaning it feels like it's from the era when games were good? I'll probably be getting it then
Exactly. If that's what you're looking for, that's what it is. Same story for the remake of 2, as well.
mhw-shit
darktide-mediocra
metro-refunded
there are literally no games for me i havent played to death already
Yeah cause you’re a basic b***h, your list is just AAA slop
What are you into? Tell me and I might know a game or two for you
There is absolutely 0 chance you can list anything i havent heard of and or havent played already in the genre i like, go frick a cactus
Not him, but go frick YOURself. Your tiny box of tastes will continue to shrink until it crushes your moronic balls, and you deserve it.
absolutely seething
hit me up with horror rpg shooters/slashers that can last me at least 100 hours
killing floor
dark souls
fallout
to a lesser extent borderlands
back for blood
metal gear survive
resident evil village and or 7
i already played deep rock
l4d2 isnt an rpg but a good game
payday 2 isnt horror and has no horror elements
mmos fit the bill somewhat, elder scrolls online and gw2 have some sick enemy designs and are rpg enough to satisfy me
maid of sker was shit
doom2rpgse mod is good but unbalanced
something along these lines, lets see if you are just talk
>horror rpg shooters/slashers
>Dark Souls
>Borderlands
>Deep Rock
>MMOs
I won't hit you up at all, because you are a boring f'ggit.
guessed so
homie your "favorite genre" is every game you happen to have liked
Explain to me the horror aspects of Borderlands
some dlcs were horror themed and some enemy designs are pretty sick
the fact people who did the writing get paid more than some of us here is kind of a psychological horror.
kek fair enough
this is all? fair enough is your grand recommendation after acting all big
ill shit in your mouth Black person
Please do, then maybe I can finally understand your taste in vidya
homosexual
coop horror rpg is now my genre
you are so fricking stupid it hurts just go on steam page under the horror category and click rpg in the dropdown list you fricking mouthbreather it lists all games i just listed ilkl frick you mouth
>coop horror rpg
>Dark Souls is horror
>Borderlands is horror
>MMOs are horror
>Deep Rock is horror
>Fallout is horror, or co-op
>only alien isolation is horror!!
ever heard of horror elements in games? dark souls is listed under horror rpg
go on click on horror tag and search for rpgs, first result
borderlands has horror themed dlcs, you wouldnt know because you never played the games
mmos like elder scrolls online have all kind of mythlogocial creatures which can be considered horror, you wouldnt know you dont know the first thing about horrorm, im wasting my time i hope you have a nice day
>steam tags accurately define genre
>y-you didn't play Borderlands haha I win
>mythlogocial creatures
Your "genre" is something you made up that fits literally every game ever made. I don't give a shit about your grandstanding, keep seething about having no games to play while I play the next one in my list of 700 unplayed games
That’s a different guy you butthole, here’s my rec to you
>back 4 blood
>metal gear survive
Are you for real right now
Hunt Showdown for PVP and GTFO for coop
woah never heard of them thats crazy bro cool unheard of recomendations you fricking homosexual
No worries 🙂 Thanks for admitting you're just a basic b***h
>t only plays underground indie games like undertale and dave the diver
You haven’t played them you stupid b***h. What fricking now? You gonna keep crying or you gonna play the games?
I dont have to play them to know that they are shit hard pass Black person next time you better come up with something thats actually obscure but good not some basic b***h steam front store garbage i know about since their release
>not some basic b***h steam front store garbage
>killing floor
>dark souls
>fallout
>to a lesser extent borderlands
>back for blood
>metal gear survive
>resident evil village and or 7
>i already played deep rock
>l4d2 isnt an rpg but a good game
>payday 2 isnt horror and has no horror elements
Hey butthole, you’ve never played a game of Hunt and GTFO, it’s exactly the basic b***h type of game you crave so fricking much, I hope you fricking play those two long after we’re done talking here and I hope you feel that twinge of embarrassment whenever you boot them up cause that means I’m right and you’re a fricking basic b***h.
Here fricker, some more oh so obscure games
>reccomend me games i havent heard of
>lists steam top charts games
i hope you die
Doesn’t matter, he hasn’t played them despite all his crying.
>WWEEAAHH ITS EXACTLY THE BASIC b***h TYPE OF GAMES I PLAYYY
Here Black person, some games you’ve never heard of before.
Tunguska: The Visitation
Brigand: Oaxaca
Betrayer
Nosferatu: Wrath of the Malachi
Bloodlust: Shadowhunter
Skautfold: Shrouded in Sanity
You gonna keep crying?
>Bloodlust: Shadowhunter
Shill me on that. Is it just even more janky VTMB?
>janky VTMB
Yes, made by one guy I think and it’s infused with soul. It’s great at the current price, worked for my hunger pangs while I waited for VTMB2 to get announced kek
>while I waited for VTMB2 to get announced
Oh man
RIP
>Nosferatu: Wrath of the Malachi
this is a cool game
Absolutely not. It's a broken mess.
sucks to suck.
>Tunguska: The Visitation
buggy mess i played on release, could just play stalker instead
>Brigand: Oaxaca
i though were talking good shit here but you keep listing garbage, you ok Black person?
>betrayer
hard pass, played it when it was released
how exactly am i going to play it for 100+ hours?
not checking the rest, you are a homosexual who cant read to save his face, go to the other mouthbreathers
i hope you would recomend something like project warlock, nightmare reaper hell even arpgs would have fit the bill like grim dawn but this is all you came up with? shit i have played decades ago? please just have a nice day
>Grim Dawn is horror
yes? killing monsters and demons in a fricked up world is considered horror or at least a horror element for mouthbreathers whose only contact with horror is alien iscolation or outlast
>or at least a horror element for mouthbreathers whose only contact with horror is alien iscolation or outlast
Anon, YOU are the one who claimed your favorite genre as horror co-op RPGs/slashers. YOU have to consider Grim Dawn as horror because YOU are the one who mentioned it as a possible valid recommendation
This is a hole you have dug, all on your own. You are that mouthbreather
I know you're just trying to backpedal because you accidentally said something incredibly stupid, but there is only a solid wall behind you
the frick are you talking about shizo
grim dawn can be considered horror it can be played endlessly it can be played coop
you have nothing to add to the list ive not already heard of and or played, you failed in your only task after being all high and mighty, i lost all and any respect i could have possibly had for you and only wish for your slow and painful demise because you and your discord friends are the biggest c**ts i encountered today so please do me a favor and have a nice day
>grim dawn can be considered horror
>is considered horror or at least a horror element for mouthbreathers
Thanks for conceding, mouthbreather.
>weeaaahhh your games that I’ve never touched before and am only claiming to have done so are baaad so it doesn’t count
>you could have recommended all this other garbage that fit nothing like my criteria
I can take a Black person on, but a literal fricking moron cause that’s just a waste of time. I already recommended you games you haven’t played before, you’re just being a little b***h now.
no Black person, you listen here. you claimed you can recomend me games that arent "basic b***h" and i havent heard of
then you list games from the store front like a mouthbreather that you are ignoring absolutely everything these games are like, take the hutn for example. its a pvp game, no game i have listed is a pvp game only small fraction has an optional pvp mode and thats dark souls. then you list gtfo, a game where its mostly stealth and again, a game i know about since release.
take a knife and goughe out your eyes, seriously
>how dare you to break down something for idiots now versed in the genre
jesus i knwo you people are extremely fricking stupid but this goes beyond me, cant argue with single digit iq
>cant argue with single digit iq
Sorry to hear that. Valid effort though, you tried to argue for a good 20 posts or so despite your IQ
No more (you)s since you now failed at even attempting to backtrack
Enjoy your co-op horror RPG action shooter slasher MMOs
you failed to list a single game unfortunately, maybe next time
You, stop feeding the trolls. The thing you're talking to is either that, or a complete fricking idiot (incidental troll). Stop shitting up the thread by engaging it, okay? We're talking about people who like games and who play games buying games.
ilist games first, then ill consider it in the next thread
Doesn’t matter, have you played either? You were crying about having nothing and I showed you more, be a little grateful you whelp.
>Betrayer
>Nosferatu
Both of these are complete and utter shite.
Play Clive Barker's Undying (not on Steam) if you want what Nosferatu was trying (and failing) to be
what genre, you fat pig?
Survival crafting open world
Frick you Black person try me Black person go ahead you fricking pussy. Don’t waste both of our time with that basic b***h response, just cause you played the hot new Ganker meme or even shitpost about it doesn’t mean you’re wizard level you stupid Black person, like I said, try me b***h, tell the class what you’re into.
If you're looking to cry, go play OPUS: Echo of Starsong.
Only -40% off though.
As a woman, what’s a good game for me?
You'll never be a woman.
But, I suggest playing the following:
ASTLIBRA, if you're into JRPGs
Outer Wilds, if you like logic puzzles
Stardew Valley, if you''re a basic b***h without a social life
Subnautica, if you want something scary
Oh forgot to mention, if you're into narrative-heavy games, go play Citizen Sleeper.
Xcom 2 probably, anything where you have control over multiple people, maybe sims 4
>Shill a shit game consistently
>Its not even on a good sale; a mere 10% off
>People actually fall for it and buy it
took the advice I got from anons and dropped some games and added some as well. Share your thoughts.
>gloom and doom
You wont play all that shit in the next 5 years
Momodora was pretty bland for me but most anons seem to like it which was unusual
>homori
anon you gay
No u
Lots of good stuff here, Anon.
>Doom 2016
>Ys
>Deus Ex (would get a bundle with HR and MD too)
>Alan Wake
>Hotline Miami
>Acr Attorney
>Grandia
>Spelunky
>Eldritch
>EYE
>Dragon's Dogma
>Hal Life Complete
Can testify to all of these being excellent.
Get Dark Messiah too.
Rate my cart please
Throw in Type-0 and Jack’s game for some more action FF
Opinions? Anything I should remove?
Sakuna is a good game and I’m not even a UUOOOOHHHH CUTE AND FUNNY type of dude. Comfy rice autism + side scroller DMC. Don’t over salt your rice.
I’m a sucker for DS 3 and 4 of FF, they hold up pretty good and the voice acting for 4 is purty gud too.
I suspect KiD is still going to be just as shit as the last time I played it but I have faith this 2$ pc port won't have screen tearing out the ass like the console version.
Maybe drop SC6 if you don’t have friends to play it with, the online is dead and populated by strange people
I'm in it for the single player modes, CaS, and 2B/2P's ass but duly noted.
Games where I can beat people up while ogling cute hebes like Asterigos and Kena?
Barotrauma chads I absolutely fricking despise playing with other people but this game looks so fricking good. How doable is it in Solo? I really don't mind a challenge but I'm not trying to bang my head against a wall for hours to complete a stage
>Fear Master collection
wtf, can't find that
I had to find a fear game and scroll down to find the bundle collection
I can find fear 2 and 3 but not 1 and no bundle
Nvm apparently Fear 1 is banned on German steam and 2 and 3 only have low violence versions. That is pretty unusual. Fricking Agony and Succubus came out uncut here. What a meme
>That is pretty unusual
Are you 12? https://www.schnittberichte.com/svds.php?Page=Indizierungen&Kat=Games
https://store.steampowered.com/sub/12357/
1 for some reason can’t be bought by itself.
Bought Baldur's Gate 1, 2 and 3. Started the first one an hour ago, it's pretty fun.
be honest, is it worth it for under 10 USD, with all the dlc included in the price? thought the 2013 tomb raider sucked, but rise of the tomb raider was enjoyable
it's fine for that price I suppose. just don't expect to be wowed
Well I got it. I uh think I'll get some enjoyment out of it.
The story is really fricking bad but if you played the others go for it I guess
For 10 bucks it's alright.
It's your normal adventure movie-tier story. If you think even a little too hard it's just silly.
>BWOOHOOOO GAMING IS DEAD
>I ALSO ONLY PLAY THE FOREFRONT OF MASS CONSUMER GRADE VIDEO GAMES MADE WITHOUT ANY SOUL OR CREATIVITY AND ONLY EXIST TO SIPHON MY WALLET
>BWOOHOOO YOU CANT HELP ME IVE ALREADY PLAYED EVERYTHING
Go back and cry to r/gaming you useless moron
What are some good anime games that aren't on the first page of google? Any genre, just has to be anime.
>good anime games
Flat out avoid anything by Bandai or Koei.
Otherwise, are you willing to roll with J-Indie/Indonesian stuff or just want AAA Jap devs?
So long as it looks anime
Already owned and played 🙁
>Already owned and played 🙁
The other Ys games of that era, too?
I know almost nothing about animu so I'll suggest Dragon Quest 11 and Troubleshooter
Oh and Epic Battle Fantasy 5
>that aren't on the first page of google
bro I obviously know DQ and games shilled in this thread all the time
>>>that aren't on the first page of google
Oops I forgot about that
Regardless though, have you played YsF and 6?
I don't like any Ys game beyond the first 2 at all.
Mindless combat but too involved to be fun as mindless combat
Got bored working on the list so I'm done but here's a bunch of indie cheap but good anime shit.

LiEat
Fairune and Kamiko
Muse Dash
Also people might tell you Cave Story but get the freeware version from https://www.cavestory.org/downloads/cavestoryen.zip
These are all super famous games and half of them aren't even anime lol
I appreciate the attempt though
Ys Origin
Games for this feel?
closest I can recall is Kathy Rain. It's not really cabin fire comfy though, more indie Twin Peaks wannabe. Still I enjoyed it
The second half of Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle.
No one lives under the lighthouse
worth it truck bros?
Honestly as someone who has owned the game from launch, no. I personally find it better to just buy a state at a time when they sales on 'em for >50% which tends to happen when they launch new states and stuff. You're paying for a lot of extra cosmetic junk and trailer/rig DLC, but if you really REALLY like the content knock yourself out I just think it's too much all at once.
Sup bros, can you recommend me any more action horror rpg shooter/slasher roguelite strategy games with looting mechanics? I already played
>Dark Souls
>DOOM
>Total Warhammer
>Baba is You
>King's Bounty
>Dead Space
>Portal 2
>
>buy Amazon mmo
>character creator has "body type" and not gender
>finish making character
>asks for pronouns
holy fricking refunded, how was this pozzed trash ever popular
>how was this pozzed trash ever popular
Marketing. Never believe anything around their games, it's unironically shilled.
Subnautica sounded like a fun underwater exploring game but then I found out you play a Black person
>water game
>can't swim
wooooow
should i get soul calibur 6 just for playing with custom characters
why is FF pixel remaster $75?
Thinking of getting these.
Spark 3 is good, you get the Spark 2 levels once you beat the game
I bought Dread Delusion and I fricking love it. Can't wait for it to be finished
Why this shit increased the price in february?
Might as well buy it for coom mods
>t. Coomer
Anything I should remove, or anything you guys (except the co-op horror rpg dude) recommend?
Looks great, maybe consider one or two Rabi Ribi DLCs, only the ones with content of course
thanks, will probably try out Rabi first
Recommend picking up Spark 1 too if you haven't played it
>Halls of Torment
enjoying it quite a bit though i've kind of hit a road bump in progression and it's stalled out a bit
>Kenshi
haven't tried it yet but i did get some nice QOL non-easy mode mod suggestions for when i finally fire it up
still considering
>Grim Dawn
>Outward
>Unavowed
>Fates of Ort
>Darkwood
>Crystal Project
>Time Break Chronicles
>Yakuza Like A Dragon
of Ort
Big recommend, very interesting magic system. Though unfortunately a bit unbalanced, especially if you go the "evil" route where spell costs are dealt with in a different way
should i get the dlc for a hat in time? loved the original game years ago but know nothing about the dlc
Nyakuza Metro is good, didn't care for Seal the Deal
Is midnight sun a bad game or does it get shit in for being more marvel shit ?
if you like turn based games it's a lot of fun. it's very MCU inspired in terms of the character's personalities but not entirely insufferable. i would personally hold out until the game+season pass go on sale together for a deep discount, it's 4 characters which is a good amount of content.
I’m tempted to buy X4 and its DLCs solely for the Star Wars mod. Worth it?
>there is nothing to play
>you can play this dogshit garbage games
nah i think im fine and you are still full of shit so i take the hard pass and will never give you and or anyone who claims to know more about horror games then me the benefit of doubt
there is nothing worthwhile to play and or i havent already played
>there is nothing worthwhile to play and or i havent already played
Yet here you are seeking for something that, according to yourself, doesn't exist. You truly are a mentally handicapped motherfricker.
He widened "horror" to include every game ever made and he still can't find anything to play, kek
literaly first fricking page of horror games in steam categories but somehow i made it up right
maybe i should tax you people next time for browsing steam categories since im the inventor of them
hey i tried right, now im 100% sure, this was my synoptic statement btw you are 20 posts late to the party so frick off haha
Doom 2016 is really, really boring.
I didn't realize how drastic the situation was surrounding FPS during that timeframe for it to be worshipped like the seconding coming of Christ.
New fricking threads, morons. You shat up this one.
>253 posts in
Do newbies really?
Yes, these frickers shat it up. Get in there. There's a warding charm against the piece of loathesome frickhead trash who pissed on this one.
a thread for early ants?
Frick yes, for ants. Angry thumbnail ants. Thumbnails are their fetish. Pixels make them hard, and furious!
>newbie reads some bad words, downloads a thumbnail, and starts a new thread
kek
>so fricking embarrassed he wants to forget this one happened
Ahahahah lmao
Hogwarts Legacy
Jack's game
Everspace 2
>Jack's game
Does beating FF1 first add anything to this?
Yeah it's nice to know some of the characters, but it's not required. People making vidya nowadays know that most people buying them weren't alive when FF1 came out
kek
Aside from knowing the characters there aren't that much of a similarity, so finishing FF1 isn't needed. Like the other anon said, devs make games with the knowledge that zoomers will be buying their game. I don't blame them, FF1 is older than me and I was born in the 80's
>anon’s list of horror games
keked, but no, horror rpg shoters slashers with 100+ hours of gameplay
I'm not much of a shmup guy but I'm trying to expand my horizons
Should I get Zero Ranger?
Yes, the game is amazing. It's the so called "Undertale of shmups" so it's a good game if you are not that i to the genre
Alright, guess this is the one game I'm grabbing this sale. 5 years of constant shilling finally got to me
Nice, enjoy it.
May you attain enlightenment
Thoughts?
The only aRPG I ever finished so it must have been good, but it has been what? 15 years?
Oh, this one has the meme review from the supposed old man professor, doesn't it?
>My wife told me to take better care of myself, but I just end up playing this game for 1,000 hrs!
Holy kek, can't be real. Game looks awesome, though.
i just fundamentally think this is not a good game and only bitter diablo 2 fanboys pretend it is
I don't remember much about it, only that it was pretty forgettable.
Grim Dawn is made by the same people but has a lot more QOL improvements.
recommend me a ww1 game. ideally a strategy game or a story game, not an fps like battlefield 1
Strategic Command: World War 1
I'm also considering Spelunky 2 and/or Project Wingman
Project Wingman is great
Updated my list based on your recommendations.

Redpill me on Recettear. What's the ratio between item shop management and dungeon exploring?
its not a forced ratio, you can lean heavily one side or the other. you can actually beat the game without doing dungeons at all but i would not recommend that.
Spelunky 2 is good but only get it if you enjoy games with demonic difficulty because it's a very difficult game with lot of trial and error
that version of monkey ball is broken, or at least it was, forgot to mention that
Are the Senran Kagura games actually any good or are they just coomer bait, because I'm in the mood to play some anime beat 'em ups/musous?
>Are the Senran Kagura games actually any good
not really
They are okay but there are way better options. If you want to play a musou maybe pick a Dynasty Warriors (7 or 8) or even one of the one piece musous
Forgotton Anne
>Looking for a game to sink some hours into.
anyone in the 500+ games gang just buying games to complete collections and shit like that?
I got tomb raider underworld just to finish that trilogy and hellblade to finish all my schizo core games
Naw I just buy games I actually wanna play at some point
I got the three nu tomb raider games and the crystal dynamic revivals but only because I like those two eras of Lara. Weird being a completionist on Steam especially if you can’t really display your shit
Tales of Arise
Resident Evil 8
X-Com Chimera Squad
The Fall 2 Unbound
The Room 2
The Room 3
Finding Paradise
That's all. Not buying anymore. I can wait till Xmas.
I feel like EYE might filter me
The story's a bit weird but the gameplay shouldn't filter anyone. There's a few short tutorial videos in-game that explain everything. Please don't go in and say "oh I don't understand this mechanic, guess the game is just inscrutable LOL"
The gameplay is way too good and shouldn't fall victim to that meme
thanks, I will dive in
>oh I don't understand this mechanic, guess the game is just inscrutable LOL
Lol this is DSP
Go in blind for EYE, there’s so much to it that a new playthrough can feel completely different
Eh, just try it. That's part of the fun. Been haintin my profligate spending homie log for a long time.
>halo
yeah probably
Eye is piss easy. You have infinite healing right from the start and using any armor above the lighest makes you borderline invincible.
And this is a lie.
It has very few options and you have 99% of your effective selection at the start with the rest being locked behind an absurd grind. It has 3-4 types of enemies, very few maps and only one story.
Might and Magic is massively overhyped but its wort h that much.
Sleeping Dogs is boring. Bland MC, easy combat, empty feeling world.
Any good reason not to get any of these?
For some reason I just had an urge to find a firefighter game and this was the first one I saw that actually had consistently good reviews.
>Dread Templar
You've got to watch Humble, son. Was on there twice, bundled for next to nothing.
I mostly look at Fanatical but I should start checking Humble yeah. Was looking into DT since it seemed more interesting than Boltgun mechanically.
Help Gankerros please what to get
>Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1
Or
>Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
Some people say that you can skip first
If you really want to get Xenoverse, don't bother with the first one. Trust me on this.
It's a "sequel is just a more complete version of the proof of concept" situation. Also if you like it it's got half a decade's worth of DLC or so.
any good horror games on sale? I think i might get resident evil 7
Yeah, Borderlands
Not horror you dummy
BL3 writing is quite scary and uncomfortable.
You're right
I am on the fence about this. But I do want that digital artbook.
also get second Drakensag game, its pretty much all around improvement.
yuroslop post
Kino tastes, bro. Buy all that shit.
i need more games like PREY and Deus ex
ADACA seems good, low poly sci fi FPS
Is God Eater any good or am I not missing much if I already played 1 and 2? I imagine online is super ded so no point in asking.
GE3 was developed by Marvelous instead of Shift if that makes any difference.
2 has very common issues with tying AI to framerate, resulting in your allies repeatedly trying to then failing to devour, making them leveling you up simply not work at all. It also has a cool super mode, but you get it near the end of the game.
3 is essentially just 2 - that mode but with consistently working AI.
So get 3.
Should I get this?
Its cute but very one-note. Not a bad price for it I guess.
I liked it a lot, maybe I'm just autistic but I played 34 hours in 3 days after I bought it
Buy Blood West.
Act 3 + official release soon so it will probably be more expensive and it's bretty good.
any games like Cloudbuilt?
Any good RPGs to pick up during the sale?
Any preferences? Lots of RPGs out there.
Not necessarily, I'd like to branch out the sorts of games I play and am open to any suggestions honestly.
Symphony of War The Nephilim Saga was one of my top games from last year, it's Ogre Battle squad customization with maps/presentation closer to 2000s Fire Emblem.
>dlc moved to august
Baldurs gate 3 is the rpg goty.
Outer Wilds or Return of the Obra Dinn?
Both
Ideally both.
I can only play one game at a time. Which one first?
Not him but Obra Dinn.
Obra Dinn is much harder than Outer Wilds so depends on how much you are willing to commit to the games.
Obra Dinn is a good deal shorter
FEAR 1 is the only good FEAR game.
I already bought them, just showing off my shit taste.
Has anybody actually played himeko sutori though? Looks neat.
Valfaris is kino af, loved it at least.
>Contraption Maker
Incredible Machine bro.
>Owlboy
Not the worst birdman platformer, not the best.
>Onirism, Valfaris
Never played.
>Marchen Forest, HimekoSutori
Never heard of.
Anybody played The Sinking City? It's jank, but atmospheric jank. Good voice acting too.
Any good dungeon crawlers on sale? The steam tag for it is full of unrelated shit as usual
Yes I already played grimrock
Have an aversion to touhou?
Because if not, this is pretty fricking great, most of the characters have really fricking unique abilities and synergies I haven't seen in any other RPG.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1131920/LABYRINTH_OF_TOUHOU__GENSOKYO_AND_THE_HEAVENPIERCING_TREE/
I just picked up Touhou SouzinengiV. Another really comfy RPG.

anon said, labyrinth of touhou is the best dungeon crawler on the market.

A problem with crawlers is that most good ones are old and a lot of the new ones are legit shovelware like Labyrinth of Refrain.
Grimoire isn't even on sale, Cleve you cheap frick.
it is but he said it would never go on sale so he lowered the price manually without marking it as on sale
Is A Hat In Time actually any good?
yep, plays just like the 3D collectathons i grew up with and stands among them in terms of quality
Is the DLC worth it?
yup
The original map mods are better, but the game itself is fine.
These were great. Anything else worth buying?
>Add Sleeping Dogs to cart because $3 and I hear it's very good
>mfw all the DLC
Is literally ANY of this worthwhile? Zodiac Tournament is the only one that comes across as real content.
How the frick are you even seeing the DLC? They don't even sell the original version anymore, the definitive version is 3 bucks and it doesn't list any of the DLC, it all comes with it.
I searched for "Sleeping Dogs" because Steam shit itself and emptied my original cart.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/307690/Sleeping_Dogs_Definitive_Edition/
OG is not actually purchasable.
So all of that shit including what
said are just in Definitive? Weird that they'd even have them still on the store.
I think it's in case someone has the og version but is missing some dlc. Everything everything is in the definitive version.
While yeah most are weapons/clothing...
Triad Enforcer
Year of the Snake
Red Envelope (get loot)
Street Racer
SWAT
Nightmare in North Point
Drunken Fist
Zodiac Tournament
Wheels of Fury
Year of the Snake
Just got elden ring, AI somnium 2, and TMNT shredders revenge
Any other decent collections like this?
I have the Valve stuff and STALKER games already.
there's a xcom 2 collection that has the game and a bunch of the DLCs for $7.50 that seemed pretty good
Recommending some stuff and also looking for recs that fit with these.

What games should I get if I like extremely challenging stuff like Celeste C-Sides, Hollow Knight Pantheons and so on?
dustforce
Most shmups and bullet hells can provide that, given that you're into the genre. Same for some of the popular puzzle games like Baba is You, Tales Principle and The Witness. I Want To Be That Guy (IWTBG), Bosshy (however you type it) and related games are all free, I think, and are in the platformer genre and sometimes sprinkle some bullet hell into it.
bought code vein
made a cute freckle fart from kmart
the actual game is alright too, although to be fair I've never played a souls/like game before so my standards probably aren't that high. somehow haven't died yet
The two South Park games and Signalis. All I need atm.
every fricking year
Shut up
if u want silent hill online try zombie panic, co-op horror, is free on steam if you download today
are these touhou games being shilled by the creator or actual fans?
it's ZUN himself

Boy I sure hope the dev is busy working on 3 instead of shilling 2 here

homie dont fall for spider's junk
i know it isnt on sale but is street fighter 6 worth it? im sick of playing fighting games with no playerbase or shitty netcode.
>i know it isnt on sale but is street fighter 6 worth it
Nope its absolutely terrible, but it does have players. Welcome to modern fighting games.
what makes it so terrible?
have you played strive? you know how strive was so boring you could hit celestial in a week and then there was nothing to do but grind a shitty shallow game where all the top tiers are the most braindead boring characters? well sf6 is for strive players, so draw whatever conclusion you want there. you also feel like a proper fricking idiot when you walk into a lobby and everyone's avatar is a black guy, so look forward to that.
First truly great Capcom fighter since Marvel 3 IMO, has a few issues but if you just want a lot of people and good netcode then you're good. Also it's $51 on Fanatical.
Good touhou games on steam? Outside mentioned in thread.

My nephew liked it a lot but then we got filtered by the spiders.

Axiom Verge
Cave Story
there is the castlevania advance collection and you can also try ender lilies.

I looked it up and seen that the collection was done by M2. They do those really high quality shmup/STG ports and are really autistic so they get input lag really low and arcade accuracy 1:1 on top of a bunch of other knick knacks usually. I'll check it out.

Anything I'm missing on steam?
I've heard good things of "Them and Us" and "Alisa" for something similar to RE.
If you liked Amensia and you can look at the Penumbra series. They're basically prototypes for Amnesia, all made by Frictional Games. Soma is Amnesia in space, also by Frictional Games.
Condemned Criminal Origins is great. Last time I tried to play it on Windows 7 and it was missing some sounds and visual effects, so you may have to do some troubleshooting.
Visage seems interesting. It looks similar to PT if you were interested in that at all
Thanks anon, I've played all those besides Them and Us and Alisa, but I'll definitely check them out!
