Insult Master
So how is Ruiner? I only learned this game exists because I was listening to Susumu Hirasawa music on youtube.
I don't remember seeing anyone talk about it.
cool style but just play hotline miami instead
I got that Hotline Miama sense from it, but already played it.
It also reminds me of Robotron.
It's decent, I enjoyed my time with it and loved the atmosphere
I just bought Cuphead DLC like this. Sold an Elden Ring foil.

/v/ros i need recommendations for the following requirements:
>comfy
>good mods/workshop
>good anime game
>something to spend hundreds of hours that's not roguelike
pls help
not anime but Stardew Valley is an extreme time waster and has pretty much anything you can possibly want for mods on the nexus.
I've also spent over 40 hours on A Hat in Time and have barely touched mods.
Stardew Valley is kind of anime.
Sorry i didn't explain myself well. Not 1 single game that fulfills all requirements but 1 game for each requirement.
>Hispanic
not gonna help
>anything you can possibly want for mods on the nexus.
for example?
literally stardew valley
TW Shogun 2
or M&B warband with the weeaboo katana enthusiast total conversion
>comfy
VA-11 Hall-A
Death Stranding
>good anime game
Danganronpa
Zero Escape: The Nonary Games
Higurashi
>something to spend hundreds of hours that's not roguelike
Dyson Sphere Program
Satisfactory
XCOM2 fits 2 and 4
Troubleshooter fits 3 and 4
I want to thank the anon who gave me yakuza 0 all those years ago. Great story.
Now what other games should i get in the series?
Keep going in order from there. I'd just grab Kiwami 1 and 2 for now though.
how long untill the sale ends?
haven't been able to buy a gift card
Trying to decide between these. Got 59 steambux to blow. Pretty iffy on Torment at that price.
Already picked up:
>Weaving tides
>Sucker for Love
>Vampire Survivors
>FFXV
Just keep gunfire, dyson and amazing cultivator.
All of those games look boring as shit. Why would you waste $90 on this
Torment is alright.
Is core keeper worth buying in current state?
>check horror game.
>find Fallout 76 in it.
Okay, I chuckled.
I remember when "psychological horror", "memes", and "comedy" was tagged for Fallout 76 when it was about to release. That was funny.
Are the Succubus game bundle good games or just coomstuff with meh gameplay? Always looking for good castlevania clones
Cards?
Those trading cards you get when you play games for the first few hours. They sell for a few cents.
>mfw those sale cards
Damn, I have like 8 of those.
You can turn them into gems too right? What do you do with gems?
just sell the cards gems worthless
They can be useful if you buy cards to sell. At some point it is you can get more money from making into gems and buying packs instead of selling outright.
For 1k of gems. You get like 12 gems per card lmao.
You can use the gems to get more card packs. That's it.
Already have it.
I'm just gonna get guilty gear I think. This will be my first fighting game since 3s.
Help me decide
I liked Inscryption alot. Havent played the others.
I love Cyberhook, and for 3 dollaros it's a steal.
Looks kinda difficult
I'm a massive fan of X4, be prepared to say goodbye to your life if you get into it.
>X4
i tried to like that game so hard, and i just couldnt.
feels like playing a modding tool, not a game.
It's not for everyone, your autism level clearly isn't high enough.
Frick it, pulled the trigger now. Hope I'll like it, but given I'm autistic as frick the odds are good.
Just the base game or with the dlc? I'd say the dlc is essential if you're going to get into the game. At the start you won't have a fricking clue what you're doing btw, and I'm 300+ hours in and still know frick all.
Just the base game for now. Some guy on youtube recommended only buying the DLC when you know most of the core game already, so I just went along with that.
Cyberhook is a steal for so cheap. Best Spider-Man simulator.
First act of inscryption is good rest blow dick just pirate it.
no clue bout the rest
If you care, fallout 4 dlc can be waay better than the actual main story and adds a lot of cool weapons/armor. So I'd buy the goty edition if you care.
You can pirate the DLC and it works like owning it, because they're essentially mod files.
Why didn't you get GTA V from Epic Games? You'll use the R* Launcher either way.
Weak bait.
I refunded a dozen different games
I've had games in my cart since the beginning of the sale but afraid that when I buy them I won't play them. Help
Show the games dumbass
Is Mega Man 11 any good? I've only beaten Mega Mans 1-6, 10, and X1.
Yes, it's fun
yep, its pretty great
https://store.steampowered.com/app/235460/METAL_GEAR_RISING_REVENGEANCE/
im not sure about anything. people keep telling me that outer wilds is the best space exploration game ever made but also that the puzzles are incredibly frustrating and awful. i hardly know anything about the game but ive read few reviews that say this is how you should experience it. also 50% is not that good of a discount.
I find Return of The Obra Dinn to be similar but the puzzles are much less frustrating and aimless. You know exactly what you're supposed to do from the get go. It's still pretty hard but the best part is you can guess a few of the answers. Maybe try that?
thing is i hate puzzle games. so puzzles is not why i would be buying this. id get it for the space and the exploration, hoping that is indeed good stuff.
Oh. Well I understand. Then don't buy Obra Dinn then. even though it's very very good maybe try
>No Man's Sky
>Astroneer
>Starbound
>no mans sky
i would get it if it wasn't so overpriced still
>astroneer
looks interesting. i wonder how it is as a singleplayer game, it ephasizes multiplayer and co-op on its steam page.
>starbound
not interested
Oh well maybe listen to what people have to say to
Like
95% The Outer Wilds is not really frustrating, you can tell where to go from the Nomai Writings or for process of elimination but there is a good 5% of you just you throwing yourself into a wall, hard to explain without Spoilers but sometimes you know what are you looking for (or / and) where it is but you don't know how to get it.
Still would recommend.
>Titan Chaser
Seems cool, thanks for the heads up. Atmospheric walking simulators that actually has some kind of gameplay are quite great; Kona is another one of those and pretty good. For some fricking reason it's not on sale right now but put it on the wishlist; I remember I got hold of it for like 5 bucks, years back.
Siege of Avalon, overlooked old ass CRPG that tried to do episodic narrative-focused releases way before anyone else. Lots of good writing, no girl power shit, OP magic, groovy midi soundtrack.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1558990/Siege_of_Avalon_Anthology/
Shadow Madness
Possibly the ugliest, shittiest game ever made, but absolutely dripping with SOUL. Development had to be paused but the composer was kept on retainer so he just kept making music so they fit like 40 battle tracks into the game. Bunch of guys played ff7 and got pumped to make their own masterpiece. Very entertaining script with a lot of amusing characters and sarcastic humor. Level cap is 15; https://store.steampowered.com/app/1257940/Shadow_Madness/
this is the correct answer.

Need help pruning this list down to 2-3 games. Any input on which space flight game is best will be most appreciated
Elite is like Euro Truck Simulator combined with arcade space combat. Not too much else going on. But it has the best visuals.
NMS mostly consists of flying from planet to planet to gather resources. Also has basebuilding. Pretty fun, lots of options, but not much depth to any mechanic.
X4 can turn into a bit of a spreadsheat simulator, but is by far the most complex. Also has a shitty learning curve.
Out of the others I have only played Riftbreaker and it's great.
Unless you want X4 specifically, you could drop it and get one of the X3s, probably Terran Conflict. You'd save like $20.
Chorus is arcadey action, not the quality of an ace combat game either, try the demo, maybe you'll like it.
Elite is a sight to behold on VR
NMS is kinda meh for me.
>Evochron
Based
I've been looking for air combat games just like this guy Any suggestions? I don't care for settings, genre or whatever, I just want the dogfighting to be the most relevant part of the game.
>I just want the dogfighting to be the most relevant part of the game.
Then get Project Wingman, Ace Combat 7, or the HAWX games.
drop riftbreaker. Tried it on gamepass, it's really barebones, just made me want to go back to factorio
I Stellaris any good? I've heard mixed things.
Yes, just requires a bit of autism to get into
I don't get the Master Chief Collection. Will I have to buy the separate games as DLC or what?
It's modular.
If you only want to play one of the 6 games and then buy some of the rest later, you can buy it and get the MCC "menu" (it's basically an all-in-one fullscreen launcher that manages campaigns, matchmaking, and profile features).
If you want the max value than you can buy the whole collection for a reduced price compared to getting all the games one at a time.
I can't find the "launcher" in the page and instead only given the choice of a main game that includes all the DLC. I'm not about to pay for the games twice, am I?
You get the launcher with any of the DLCs, the MCC bundle included.
If you only want one game, then scroll down to the DLC section.
Ohh that's how it works, I didn't know you could buy DLCs standalone like that. Thanks anon.
Can do both, either get standalone campaings or buy the all in one package. Buy the pack, it's cheaper.
Think I'm about done. Thoughts?
>TFW I Disabled Steam Guard and now I cant sell my 40+ trading cards to buy some vidya.
Biggest israeli move Steam ever pulled is the 15 day hold in the market unless you use their shitty app.
This. I remember using card pennies to get hold of all those little shitty but still neat-looking skin dlcs for BL2 and some other small stuff for other games without spending a dime, back in the day. Can't even use the goddamn market now.
I feel your pain. I changed phones and got fricked over.
Rate my haul this year. So far liking all of them.
you're gonna get a few hundred hours out of new vegas alone
Really good haul. No shit games in sight.
Mirrors Edge is one of the games that unironically gets good 10 hours in. When you don't know the maps and aren't used to the movement yet it feels clunky as frick, but once you learn everything it's smooth as hell.
I dropped it early in the game on the green corridors level, I think fighting really pissed me off
There are a handful of required fights, but 99% of the enemies are just there for you to run away from.
Any suggestions? Add something, remove something? The total is about 86 dollars.
Love games like Return of the Obra Dinn and Slay the Spire.
Why not just play Muse Dash for free on your phone
I try to avoid phonegaming. I just added it to the cart since it was so cheap.
Last I played it on my phone it was really minimalistic and only used two buttons, very simple gameplay
is Iceborne still worth to play?
should I drop it ?
Eh, might as well. It's easy as shit anyway.
It still has 30,000 player peak per day so it seems like it's still popular.
Would recommend Rise instead. At least combat wise feels better, the claw thing included in Iceborne feels like a dumbed down version of the wirebugs of Rise.
fricking discovery queue has given me 4 duplicates and I'm still 5/10. Now I have to spend 30 cents just to complete this stupid fricking event badge
Any decent golf games?
Minigolf or golf?
Either
VR: Walkabout Minigolf (must have)
Either VR or not: Golf It
Non VR: Golf with your Friends
These, I have tried, so I recommend them based on fun I had, others I cannot vouch for.
>the best golf game is VR only
Damn, I will just go with Golf with your Friends then, thanks.
Golf it is non vr if need be.
But there are more serious in tone golf games out there, don't be limited to my minigolf fetihs, just keep asking until some golfer has tried some of the most srs ones.
I never got any card because this piece of shit has been fricked up ever since the start of the sale for me. Frick you Gaben, I'm a poorgay so those cents are important.
just click start another queue and click through that
>can't get the Little Nightmares 1/2 bundle with all the dlc content if you already own 1
Fricking israelites. It's $15 for the bundle all together but also $15 for just 2 and nothing else (I was going to get the dlc for 1).
Guess I'm going to pass on it because that's pretty scummy
>I sold all my cards and have 5 bucks.
I should do the same... I've collected tons of cards recently.
rate my cart
Damn bro that's a lot.
real solid dont drop or add anything
10/10 would purchase nothing again.
forgot my image
Mafia I'm playing rn, not bad, but not excellent either, it's not my cup of tea so don't take me srs.
Pathfinder: Based.
Cuphead: Gigabased
Others: Iunno
Oxygen not Included and Death Stranding are gud
Can't comment on the rest
mafia is really meh - I got it through humble and dropped it
I think I'll replace mafia with Yakuza kiwami
Get the pack, will cost less than mafia still and will include Yakuza 0 and the Kiwamis
If you haven't played any Yakuza game I'd say 0 is a better pick or if you want a weird JRPG then Yakuza 7 / Like a Dragon
This is a Steam thread, not EGS
Ha!
There Yakuza 0 under 5 bucks
https://store.steampowered.com/app/288160/The_Room/
Should be enough for 1-3. Kino "lovecraftian" horror puzzle games.
Convince me NOT to buy grim dawn please!
You also need the DLC.
It's ok, actually, but I kinda passed on it after buying it. In short, other things are more appealing.
All ARPGS play the exact same and there's almost no real difference between any of them besides number crunching
The DLC costs more than the entire game and they add classes and quality of life features to the main game so you're missing out if you don't buy them. It's also pretty ugly imo.
yeah, i got turned off it after learning they pulled that bullshit
>out game is just $5 guys!
>but you need to pay $20 on top for the DLC if you want the full experience
the combat feedback is fricking abysmal
endgame is 1 summon, 3 buffs, autoattack to proc a million lights
>cant pirate Dying Light 2 since it still has denuvo
>cant buy it yet since I can't afford it
Is the game even good for me to be interested?
Nope. It's a disappointment. Dying Light 1 is better.
Yeah the only reason I'm this interested is because a friend is playing it currently and is really enjoying it.
And because I love DL1
But it does seem like the game is incomplete and you should wait until an expansion comes out or something
Yeah the game became more story focused but the story still sucks. Would not recommend.
Pass on it for now, probably heaps of dlc coming.
Why do I feel so stingy on steam bros? I regularly throw away coins and notes in real life like it's nothing but get stingy over cent differences in the steam market
You know none of it matters. When you buy a real good with real currency you're actually exchanging value. With Steam you're exchanging imaginary points for imaginary items/games, even if those points were added with real money.
>Why do I feel so stingy on steam bros?
Not a bad thing. It's digital, if it's not dirt cheap; you are a cuck.
I rececently discovered Death Stranding, and its the best and most comfy game i played in years (besides DOOM Eternal).
What a gem of a game.
I played it on release and am working through directors cut now. So frickin good.
Loving how Death Stranding is getting its due. 200+ hours into the directors cut and only getting started.
there was never any serious doubt that it's a good game, just some crying manchild normies -- everyone who actually plays video games saw immediately what Kojima was trying to do
posted in the wrong thread so here I go again
thoughts?
real solid stuff
frick
pirate blood lines
it's activision
>4,99$ for dead space 2 on steam
you get ALL THREE dead space games on gamepass for 4$, anon.
You pay a premium to use Steam as a social platform. And Steam is 10x more valuable than sexbox as a social platform
and didnt understand a single word in your post, so i will just repeat myself: you can get all 3 dead space games for a price lower than DS2 on steam.
basically no one would know or care if you played it on goypass. Atleast steam has an active social community
>basically no one would know or care if you played it on goypass.
????????
who would know or care about what?
you lost me here, lad.
gamepass is like CSS and steam is like CSGO in terms of userbase
.....what?
am i talking to a bot or something?
basically if a tree falls in a forest and there is no one there to hear it, did it really make a sound? same concept can be applied to gamepass and DRM free games. With Steam your hours and achievements are available to millions of players. meanwhile gamepass and drm free, no one cares
Who the frick cares, man
Lots of people do. Which is why Steam is the no. 1 used platform for PC gaming and also why you're sitting in a thread dedicated to their sales
no anon, nobody cares.
steam is no1 because its the oldest, most stable gaming platform there is, and their prices keep people on it.
like me.
awesome prices, thats why im in this thread.
>nobody cares
>steam is no1 because everyone cares
listen here you moronic motherfricker.
steam is no1 because of the fricking prices, not because i can click on your gay anime avatar and see you have 5,000 hours playing a hentai game.
now frick off.
>l-listen here
no
but nobody fricking cares, man.
i dont think a single person gives a flying frick about that.
>oh man i racked up 2,000 hours in destiny 2!
>***crickets***
this.
some autistic homosexual on this board probably cares
I know there's a few who do when they go around gifting and they cry if they cannot see your hours
like who genuinely gives a shit I have almost 3k hours in tf2
I haven't played that shit in years just like the rest of my multiplayer shit
I unironically like to see people's game times
>muh achievements and muh friends list
Cringe as hell. Literally who cares
anyone who has friends (not you lol)
>haha you have no friends
No I just don’t check my steam friends list constantly like an autist I just play the games I want to. If you care about steam social features you are fricking dense
achievements are nice tho
why would I make my hours and achievements available to anyone at all
temporarily
remove apex legends, its free
Toughts are an artifact of the monkey mind that gives you the illusion of rational discourse, in reality you are alone the observer, and thoughts are not your own.
You wouldn't know, since you don't meditate. Yes there's more to it. No, I won't speak of such htings. I see you posted the image already.
Synthetik is fine
Psychonauts is ok
Dead space is a good game
You're overpayin for Bloodliens
Is Heaven Dust 2 worth 10 dollars? I hate the artstyle but otherwise interested
What games should I buy. I am so fricking indecisive, every sale I keep not buying anything then get annoyed that there's nothing to play or that I have to pay more.
At least have the balls to say what you like.
I don't know what I like any more. I guess action rpgs?
Maybe you're depressed and should see to it that it doesn't become chronic instead of forcing yourself to play games?
If I am depressed there's literally nothing I can do about it. My life is already exceedingly "good" so there's nothing that I can do to fix it.
Idk much about action rpgs, I guess the souls games fall into line, perhaps try something new, have you played other soulslikes? The Surge series is good I hear.
>mfw I haven't spent a single cent on a steam game in over 6 years
>everyone is getting omori from the sales
why is this game so popular
worth it if i liek diablos, torchlights and all dem hackenzslahaz
i'd rather say it's worth it if you like 40k
well that too, i'm not a hardcore nerd mainly due to having no friends and being unable to afford the miniatures
Yes, it's not bad.
Is doom 2016 actually good or is it a meme? 5 bucks seems good
I've clocked about 81h on it.
Is it true that if the devs decide to stop support for DJMax you literally can't play the game anymore?
DJMAX REPESCT V
>a million dlc
>kernel 0 Anti-Cheat(for a fricking rhythm game)
>Always Online(wanna play on the go where theres no internet?? Forget about that son!)
>Wanna unlock the base game songs? that'll be 10$+tip.
Buy Miku instead or Ez2On
Even Musynx made by chinks is better than Djmax.
Disco Elysium dyslexic fonts made the game much easier to read. A... am i dyslexic?
Porbalby
unrelated but have the captchas gotten harder the past few days?
The bots were getting smarter
Is NO MAN'S SKY fun?
it's only for high intelligence IQ players who can enjoy virtual VR sims
Rec me some games please, that aren't vns, that you can play mouse only one handed
Pathfinder benefits from keyboard, but can be played, I believe alone on mouse.
Islanders
So I bought Outer Wilds. Is it really optimal to play this game with the controller?
Some spaceship sections are pretty hard on keyboard because of digital input, but my friend was capable of getting through them on keyboard.
Which of the Ys games are good? I've already played eight.
1+2, Origin, and Oath
Is monstrum shit?
I forgot that came out. Haven't played it since it's still to pricey for me so I can't say.
>good
Oath, Origin, 1+2, Seven
>mediocre
9, Celceta, Ark
You should also play Mask of the Sun once you are done with these.
I want to get into a 4x game like Civilization, anybody got a recommendation for which one I should get? Or any other games of that genre?
Start with Civ 5 or 6. They're babby's first 4x to get into the genre.
Alright, thanks! What are some of the more advanced ones?
Endless Legend and Space 2
Stellaris
Distant Worlds
Galactic Civilizations 3
Age of Wonders Planetfall
Should I get them with all the DLC?
V is the last real civ
Is Ace Combat 7 good?
It's the only good came in your cart
have you tried Project Wingman? If not, get that instead. Trust me, it's way better.
No
I'll probably trim it down to only three, or maybe four at best.
keep
>shadow of war
>catherine
Maybe both ni no kuni. Drop everything else
Should I buy God of War at 20% off?
I'll probably play it after summer.
If you're not gonna play it immediately, there's no reason to buy a game with under 50% discount.
You think it'll drop down this low soon?
Well, probably not this year knowing Sony. BF might drop it to 35% sale or so but that's the end of the year so.
+ helldivers digital deluxe
trying to find some multishit for my lame friend group, anything here that's truly awful?
Astroneer is really quite awful. But really, play DRG with frens.
I'm guessing it has 0 content still? wasn't sure if it had been updated through the years, I'll strike it.
No, it's fine, it's because I don't liek that kind of game, I was merely jesting, you should however ask about Grandia, I think the port was bad but I'm not sure if Grandia was the game with a bad port or a similar sounding name.
can I join your lame friend group?
depends, how much of a gamer are ya?
>I don't liek that kind of game
crafting shit? I can understand that
>I think the port was bad
I'm seeing this for every damn JRPG that gets ported to steam but I'm willing to take the risk at this point so long as I can turn off whatever shitty filters they put on it.
Just this month alone I've spent more time gaming than sleeping in my bed
alright, I get it, you're in
>so many games I want but I can't afford them all
Rate, hate, jerk off.
Still on the fence about Black Mesa but it's dirt cheap soooo
remove E.Y.E and black mesa
get omori
remove dilator
get bleach
drink
relax kid, close your eyes and breathe deeply
*farts in your mouth*
feeling better now?
not even the same person
don't listen to this homosexual
btw
if anything omori is the one you should remove
dilate janktroony
dilate real troony
E.Y.E is a meme unless you REALLY, REALLY love weird janky shit
EYE is great but I won't disagree that it's janky.
Onirism is pretty good.
The DMC HD collection has a lot of problems right? Is it worth getting and Is there a mod to fix it?
Black person just pirate it why are you buying singleplayer games
it doesn't have a lot of problems, look up dmc hd on pcgamingwiki and install a couple patches to fix the "problems"
it's just upscaled cutscenes and fixed moon texture and better player model
do you trade games? I have a humble key for it if you're interested
It was in that big Capcom Humble Bundle. Why buy it now?
>I sold all my cards
is there a way to sell all of them fast or do I have to put them up for sale one by one?
have to do it one by one
I have a massive backlog via Game Pass yet I still get FOMO during these sales. Any GOAT sales for games that are exclusive PC/Steam/non-MSFT?
I like action RPGs, souls, metroids, rogues, platforming, occasional JRPG. Any hidden gem recommendations would be appreciated.
get survivalist
I'll check it out thanks
I just broke my arm, please recommend something good you can play one handed.
some anon told me
this just before you:
get all the new card games
slay the spire
inscryption
monster train
one step from eden
etc.
Is Omori really that good?
I think its pretty good. The combat got a lil repetitive by the end but I didn't really take full advantage of the mood system.
I bought Summer Pockets and Duck Tales Remastered.
What did you guys think of Duck Tales? I never played it as a kid despite being a big fan of Disney afternoon. I loved Rescue Rangers for NES as a kid, so I'm hoping that it can live up to that.
I'm really enjoying summer Pockets so far though. I bought it in hopes that it would inspire me to get out and do more things this summer. I used to do so much stuff, but now besides going to work and the store a couple days each week I don't ever really go anywhere.
>$5
Syrian Warfare, good gaem
pick 3
>tasomachi behind the twilight
>chicory a colorful tale
>kentucky route zero
>stray preorder
>omori
>bugsnax
>everhood
also want recs for games below $5
bugsnax is awesome
but you can always just pirate it
Rage 1
>Chicory
>Omori
>Everhood
Some of my favourite indie games ever in the Steam sale
I ended up going with these.
Other great games below $5 are:
>Dragon's Dogma
>Portal Bundle
>L4D Bundle
>HL1+2
>Sonic Mania
>Fallout NV
>MGSV
>Celeste
>Morrowind
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. It's cheap and good.
finally bought dragon's dogma. hope this game is actually good and doesn't fricking turn out to be another Ganker meme
man it seems like you guys buy a lot of shitty games you will never play
gotta consoom to numb the pain
I only buy games in key form. That way I won't be stuck with games I'll never play
Battle brothers or war tales?
feels like the last 5 years had so many great games after the shitshow that was the late 00s and early 2010s
What are your favourite games in the last 5 years anon?
some of my favorite games ever are from recent years like nier automata or outer wilds, while many other favorites are from before 7th gen
I do love some 7th gen games, but I feel like not as many
Ooh I love Nier Automata anon. I guess by last 5 years you mean 2017-now? That's 6 years but I understand. 2017 is probably my favourite year for gaming ever. But if I had to choose a few of my favourites from 2018-now is Ori and the Will of The Wisps and Everhood.
it's 2022, so 2017 is still 5 years ago
as for 2017, it's probably also my favorite year ever, it was incredible and to me it's the year that kickstarted a resurgence in games
still haven't played will of the wisp and I just got everhood this sale
Yeah there's so many amazing games that came out that year it's insane. In fact, I'll list a few
>Nier: Automata
>Yakuza 0
>A Hat in Time
>What Remains of Edith Finch
>Cuphead
>Resident Evil 7
>Super Mario Odyssey
>Persona 5
>Hollow Knight
>Night in The Woods
And there's so much more. Unreal. Yeah you should definitely buy Will of The Wisps. It's probably the best modern Metroidvania ever made. And Everhood might be a bit too similar to another beloved quirky RPG for most people, but it's still so surreal and beautiful, and one of my favourite indie games ever.
That's because making game became easy, so everyone can make a niche game now.
Is cyberpunk worth it? I pirated the day one release and I heard it got updated/fixed and I don't feel like pirating it again just for the update. Have they added anything?
drop everything except dragon's dogma
ok.
same price for the entire bundle as it is for just two of them + I'll get the original on steam. (already have it on gog when it was $0.90)
I would have added Cruelty Squad and Disco Elysium but $12 is still a lot for CS and the developers of Disco Elysium are communist so they won't mind me pirating "our" game, right? 😉
Drop everything except tbh sex
They didn't fix its core problems. Most of the patches were bug fixes or work around for other issues. The ai still sucks, the missions didn't magically get better, and the gameplay is the same.
Your cart is like Ganker meme games. Not that they're bad.
The only Deus Ex games you should buy are the original, HR and MD. Invisible War is terrible and The Fall is a phone game. Also, keep in mind that MD is basically half a game.
Think I got a pretty good selection.
Wondering if GTTOD is too much for early access?
keep guacamelee, drop everything else
I'm keeping AoE,but otherwise which should I remove? I don't really want to buy RE2 and TEW and TEW2, but I'm not sure which are better and worth it
>I don't really want to buy RE2 and TEW and TEW2
Then don't buy them, you don't want them.
You don't understand, I want to buy one or two but not all three at the same time
buy nothing, it's free
>I don't really want to buy RE2 and TEW and TEW2, but I'm not sure which are better and worth it
re2 by miles but why would you buy something you dont want
I'm buying all of them then. Fricking gays I swear to god why do I even bother going on a sale thread
you seek validation from others because you're too much of an NPC to think for yourself
>I'm not sure which are better and worth it
So you know absolutely nothing about the games. Then don't fricking buy them, moron.
frick me that's a boring game, glad I didnt pay full price, but im still pissed
Game of the decade my ass
Even people who love it say it's boring. Did you buy it randomly or what?
I'll be honest I went in blind expecting GTA far west edition
I need your word. Does anyone have experience with:
>Conan Unconquered
>Dungreed
Is Conan good in coop? Looking for a cosy coop game for a buddy and me.
It's my birthday and because I'm not on Zuckbook nobody seems to know.
Thoughts on Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark?
Happy birthday anon. Have a good one!
happy birthday bud. You have a wishlist?
Not trying to beg, sorry if it came off like I was.
Hope you have a great day
Keep it or need it?
Drop Hot Wheels. It started out good then not long after the devs reveal themselves as greedy israelites.
i played around 8 hours of hot wheels. base game is okay but over fairly fast. multiplayer is pretty bad. just look at the amount of dlc devs are constantly putting out.
>interested in Titanfall 2
>don't want to deal with origin
Should I just suck it up and deal with it? I think I used to have an origin account ages ago, but I can't remember what I even had on it outside of possibly spore and darkspore and I'd probably just make a new account anyway.
i'm looking at Caribbean Sail. what is the best Oregon Trail knockoff or remake out there?
Have you tried Organ Trail?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/233740/Organ_Trail_Directors_Cut/
Hear me out, this is not like Oregon trail but try King of Dragon Pass. It is good for similiar reasons, the gameplay is kinda similiar, and uses the Glorantha setting. (which is what inspired morrowind)
And yeah organ trail is good too.
Factorio or satisfactory
Factorio.
>but but but, theres no sale!
They don't call it Cracktorio for no reasons, trust me, you'll get your money's worth and when you start modding it, your mind will explodes.
you dont need a crack its on gog
u moron son
do you have to be like this? Does it makes you happy? What do you think of your life when you're in bed at night? Whens the last time you had sex?
Don't answer these questions yet, just let them stir in your mind a little bit. When you'll be ready, I'll be there for you Anon.
Vampire Survivors ($3) is pretty fun.
this but unironically. best game I've played all year. but I'm getting older and just really don't find enjoyment in games anymore, especially long games..and yet sadly I keep looking for "that one game" that's gonna get me hooked.
You should try out cyber hook then.
downloading demo now, thanks anon
also if you enjoy vampire survivors, 20 minutes till dawn is inspired by it.
Damn this game is great, tried the demo and gonna buy it, are there other games like this?
Remnants of Naezith is 2D precision platformer that also has hooks.
alright cyber shill me on this game and i'll get it with DLC
does the momentum feel good or is it source engine grapple hooking
Anything to add or remove?
I'd remove Wildland, it's not that good imo. The rest is looking good.
Perhaps I would add Powerslave: Exhumed or the Turok Bundle.
Thanks. Powerslave doesn't look that good although that could just be the screenshots. Turok looks pretty good though
Is there anything good on sale for a dollar? I got some leftover wallet funds.
Thoughts on Naruto games? Do they tell the whole story?
Boomer shooter recommendations? A lot of them interest me but I don't know which ones are actually worth it. Forgive me Father and Project Warlock stick out to me
Any esoteric games that will be fun on Steam Deck?
frick, this made my pepe hard
source? who's the girl?
>girl
I don't give a shit, give me the source man
turns out, it's 2B
doesn't look like her idk
HOT, though, I wish all girls had a body like this by default and didn't get fat
I can see it now after you mentioned her. Weird. I wouldn't have guessed that before.
frick, bros, I want to cum inside a girl like this
imagine
Any good Touhou game?
>bought mgsv for 5 bucks
>open game
>get a card
>it's a foil
>sell it for 1 dollar
i don't know why but i felt rich as frick when i got the email from valve
>buy game
>beat it in 60 minutes and its shit
>keep it open until 1.9h to get maximum more card drops
>refund game
>sell the cards
when selling cards this one last sold at .11, which of the two boxes do i type that into?
Buyers pay
open the card market page and see what the buy orders are. then either list it for that price or bit higher if it seems it might sell higher.
for that particular card the current buy orders are at 0.10e and sell orders are 0.13e. so it is safe to assume it will sell more or less instantly at 0.12e.
OneShot
If I could only get one of these, which one would you lot recommend?
Resident Evil.
Code Vein is dogshit.
Blue Reflection is not so good, it has a lot of problems the second game fixed. Would go for Resident Evil tbh
Nah it was a comfy jrpg with persona elements plus magical girls
re8 is like 7/9 hours long, you're better off pirating it
Resident Evil Village if you like shooters and first person action games, Resonance of Fate if you like JRPGs.
Code Vein is dogshit and Blue Reflection is mediocre.
RE8.
I bought deep rock galactic, zero regrets
do you have friends to play it with? i bought it like 1 summer ago and i have hardly played it because it feels like a co-op game and the online lobbies are very mean to new players.
game is 10/10 with friends, 9/10 with friends and randoms, 8.5/10 with randoms and 8/10 alone
I've got a 1000+ hour autist on my friends list
Random lobbies aren't as bad as you say, though
Is there something like dominions 5 in the level of autism it has? Other than conquest of elysium
Replaying Just Cause 3 on Steam Deck and having a blast
>Every game I don't already own and looks interesting is early access
>I have to wait potentially years for them to become playable
I'm so fricking sick of these meme. EA should last one year, MAXIMUM.
Crosscode or Omori?
Omori
CrossCode for a frickton of miles
cross has much more content.
Omori
any bots to sell my steam cards for csgo/tf2 currency/keys?
how many cards do you have?
like 100+
lucky
Pretty sure those no longer exist. Sell on the SCM and buying them that way.
there's a chrome extension that lets you select every item in your inventory and sell at (current price - 1 cent)
any of these worth getting?
no
Having a blast with Chivalry 2, and playing V Rising with a friend from time to time in coop. The second is quite alright, but I don't know how it goes with playing on servers with random people you don't know. Can't imagine that it is that good then.
V Rising is alright in co-op but not solo
V Rising is like 2 years away (at most) from becoming abandonware. The studio abandoned literally all the projects they ever worked on.
How is Third Crisis?
I don't know if I'll buy any of it to be honest, don't really care about Steam sales anymore.
is amogus still worth playing? I heard they added a bunch of bullshit
got stardew valley and already sink shitloads of hours into it, what are some other comfy vidya
I've broken my wrist, are there any good mouse only games?
Is Forager worth playing? I know it's apparently short, but is it still worth a try at least?
need recommendations, got enough left in my wallet for 2 of these
looking for something actiony and/or spooky
does world of horror get too repetitive between run attempts?
what's some cool stuff for under 10
Are there any space games that are actually fun?
Dead space
Alien Isolation
Just discovered my girlfriend cheated on me. Recommend me some games
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1141550/KEKOLD_SIMULATOR_Life_as_a_Beta_Male_Cuck/ You should be able to relate
It Takes Two
hey, I looked for the cheapest games on steam that present higher value than most and that's my list of games I bought this sale. Mind you that I have other super cheap games from previous sales so if you want more recommendations just ask
and of coure I forgot pic rel
Girl here, games for someone who cheated on her boyfriend?
Orc Massage
The House in Fata Morgana, then you can have a nice day at the end when you realize you will never have what was achieved from your soulless actions
why are americans like this
the sexual revolution and it's consequences
Humans have nothing better to do now, so we just sit around, jerk off, and have sex while waiting to die.
I'm thinking about buying rimjobworld. Is it worth it?
Yeah but only buy the base game so you have access to the workshop and pirate the DLC, frick the dev for these 5% off "sales"
any good idle game ? I liked melvor idle
Complete newbie with both. I can get both collections for basically free. Are they a good time?
Halo 1-3 and Reach are great
Mass Effect 1-2 are great
halo 4 and ODST are eh
mass effect 3 supposedly got better after the patches and DLCs, but I only played it on release to be massively disappointed
7 days to die
this game is a piece of shit. worst optimized game i have ever played.
runs fine on my machine :^)
Opinions on the forest?
>cut tree next to cabin
>tree roll
>destroy cabin
sounds real enough
its okay for the price. also fun with friends and easy to setup. also there is bunch of mods that just work.
I didn't know I like survival autism, so when I played this game with friends I just cut down 400 trees, and made a giant warehouse of supplies. breddy gud
Are fallout 3 and nv playable on windows 10?
Fallout 3 no
New Vegas yea
Tale of Two Wastelands
New Humble Choice dropped today. People looking for DRG might be particularly interested.
Ahahahahahaha
Everyone shat on your thread so you came here, didn't you?
>there is only one person in existence who does X
When it's that blatant, yeah.
Then I must be in some quantum superposition if there exists a different me who does the same thing.
I skipped. Already owned DRG and everything else besides nercomunda I know I won't play. If anyone has a spare key for necromunda I would fight for it in a key drop
>Just noticed Hitman 3 is now on Steam and on sale
What's the proper way of buying this and doing the thing where you can play Hitman 1 and 2 levels in 3? I already have 2, somehow (I don't remember buying it).
There's a buying guide in one of the reviews on Steam, tells you what pack gives you what. I'm debating buying it too since I loved Hitman 1&2 but on the other hand, their horrible marketing practices should not be encouraged. Doubt I'll find it cheaper than this somewhere else though, even the shady grey market sites have it at the same or even higher price.
Apparently you haven't played hitman 1 and 2 yet. Instead of spending 25 bucks on this just play 2 or 1
Can someone help decide between these two?
Best game with anime breasts ?
Do I need to have played all the Metal Gear games to be able to enjoy MGR
No. Metal Gear Rising may as well be a completely different series.
No. It helps being familiar with the setting to know the characters, but it's made by different people and it's barely connected.
No. It's pretty self-contained. That said, you will get more enjoyment out of the story and miscelanious stuff like the codec calls if you actually played the previous games.
already explained by other anons, but no
MGS2 Raiden and MGR might as well be completely different characters
MGS4 Raiden is closer but doesn't add much to his character in MGR
codecs, some minor references to the lore, and some classic MG gimmicks like boxes are the only things that carry into MGR
How's Hunt Showdown?
What are good games to play on the Steam Deck?
any good lesser known soulslike games on sale
I liked surge 2 and remnant from the ashes
Any recommendations?
Honestly a coop roadtrip kind of game like Jalopy would be nice.
God damn, Steam users are so gay.
How do you guys have so much money? I feel depressed being a broke ass third worlder college student
I have a job.
Awesome. Ive been trying to make my name on webdev scene
Everytime i have some spare cash i ended up using it to buy home appliances in the next day, or when my lil siblings wants to grab ice cream or kebab or something. Games are cheap but the steam credits arent cheap
Im torn between buying novels or shirt or games every fricking month. At the end of the day i ended up using the money to eat anyway
Im trying hard to do this but deep inside i dont want to ended up not enjoying games anymore. Like "oh im finally can call myself a responsible adult with money, i shouldnt play video games anymore."
Indonesia.
I feel you. Just recently started working and getting some money. I believe in you, anon, don't give up!
Isn't the trade off of that is that the games are also dirt cheap in your region?
I dont use money on much else. Food, clothes when I have to and books when I want to own a book, not just borrow it.
building wealth takes time anon
think of it as leveling up in a game
you cant expect to be max level when starting
Country? If we're on the same region I may gift you a game (as long as you aren't a Soulsborne player).
Ireland
That's not a third world country; you're the one who should gift games.
Forget I asked and frick you.
im from bulgaria. we have EU prices but third world wages :^)
>Ireland isn't a third world country
I wish that was true
>be third worlder
>since my teen years learn about building and fixing computers
>slowly save my allowance to buy pc pieces one at a time
>pirate most games during this time
>did my high school years in a technician school as electrician
>do some electrician jobs and fixing pcs, mostly just formatting
>be smart enough to earn a scholarship that payed for 80%~ of my engineering degree
>during my uni years kept doing work as electrician and pcs
>nowdays still don't have a proper work as engineer since most places ask for years of experience, but can't complain about my paygrade
the trade off is that I never wasted money on frivolous things like going out every week or going to parties with friends. That also shaped who I am, and can't really say that I socializing, which is a useful skill if you want a solid career
Nice! I sold all my cards too and managed to get $9. Used it to buy Divinity Original Sin 2 and Y's Lacramosa of Dana. Good times!
I'd like to pare this down to under $10.00 USD. My taste is pretty normie-core. Anything I should remove or add?
Just play the free version of TOME.
Okay, I'll drop ToME. Thanks.
it's a great game, if you can get into it you will come back for the dlcs
base version of tome is free
Emulate the arcade games, pirate Bioshock 2 and Doom 3, only get Payday 1 if you're going to be playing with friends.
Thanks. This was really helpful.
Bioshock 2 is just ok. The Minerva's Den DLC is certainly better but short
I'd remove Doom 3 unless you're interested in looking back at that specific timeframe of gaming. They tried too hard to sell a lightning engine and ended up making a shit game where you have to constantly swap between flashlight and gun. Alternatively play Doom 3 BFG which fixes the flashlight problem, but it's slightly more expensive
How is King Arthur : Knight's Tale?
What should I get /drop bros?
Ready or Not seems fun
Any multiplayer coop game similar to killing floor under 20 bucks thats not dead?
I already have deep rock , l4d2, back for blood
im not interested in aliens
i hate that rat game with a passion
am i out of luck?
Not reading your blog mister silly seaBlack person
ok and who are you and your country? Betting that it's tiny and irrelevant meanwhile Indonesia is 4th by population and 14th by size and is a regional power. idiot
So Indonesia isn't a third world country? Why are you lying about being a "poor third world country student"?
we are just in beginning stages of state building and already so powerful. meanwhile your country live in past and is about to die like old dog. You do not even measure up to Indonesia's knees, know your place in front of my empire you monkeys
Okay.
As I said before, forget I asked and frick you.
I don't care don't need charity from white degenerates anyway. enjoy collapse of west you dog
Anyone else have close to 500 games on steam and already have most the good shit all thats left is digging through the shit to find smudged gems?
Why are you so mad indogBlack person lmao go beg somewhere else
What should I add/remove?
do you have friends (1 to 3) to play v rising with ? if not drop it
Don't buy Sekiro if you're a Devil May Cry fan
Don't buy Devil May Cry 5 if you've never played a Devil May Cry before
Don't buy Assault Spy if you aren't new to the character action genre
Don't buy Project Wingman if you aren't an Ace Combat fan
Don't buy Prototype if you're an Infamous fan
>Don't buy Sekiro if you're a Devil May Cry fan
Really weird take. Love DMC, love Sekiro.
No you don't. They're mutually exclusive fanchises with mutually exclusive, contradictory design philosophies.
People can like games with different philosophies. Are you 12 years old?
nice schizo take
Oh, and forgot to add, that guy is making a mistake buying both. I would buy one and would only buy the other on the next sale if I disliked the one I bought.
No they don't. Unless they're fencesitters without personal preferences or personality, and even then they will only like those games on a superficial level.
You are the one basing your personality on which gam you prefer moron. Long while since I've seen such a moronic take
No, it's the opposite.
Your personality will decide which games do you like; if you have a well-defined personality you will gravitate towards games designed following X design.
Games like Sekiro and Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry or Soulsborne and Nioh have completely opposite design philosophies, so conflicting they can't be reconciled (they're pretty much the equivalent of left wing vs right wing or heterosexuality vs homosexuality) and therefore if you like one you will dislike the other.
If people didn't have preferences towards one game while disliking the others, fanbases and fanbase wars wouldn't exist because everyone would play the same games, but they do.
>(they're pretty much the equivalent of left wing vs right wing or heterosexuality vs homosexuality)
and there we go
nice direction brain poltard
>Don't buy Prototype if you're an Infamous fan
Why are Sony fans so insecure ?
Remove Firewatch. The 'choices' you make are small and mean nothing. It's linear as frick with no replay value. One of the few times I recommend just watching an LP on YouTube instead.
drop firewatch. watch a longplay on youtube instead if you realy wanna see it. drop the anime shit because it's gay
The poor guy probably have left the thread a while ago
Should I get Valheim?
Do you enjoy abandonware early access that takes years to get droplets of content because the devs got fat and lazy over hype money?
Any way to sell all of my cards in one go?
dont even feel like buying anything
video games fricking suck
These are the words of someone who needs to play Northern Journey.
Feel what its like to not know what a game is like, what its about, where it is going.
is minoria any good?
