completely optional, the maps included can be played even if you don't own the dlc. all you miss out on are the weapons and map specific unlocks.
the careers are for when you want a different playstyle.
God why can you go back to your shitty general fatshark wiener slurpers. This dev has again and again fricked you over and you still try to bring new people into your fricking cult behavior. Maybe you could better use your time helping those morons clean up their snow rather than trick people into spending their money
La-Mulana is honestly just boring some times. Like, yeah it's very unique for what you have to do but it's just not fun unless you like games that're tedious for the sake of being tedious.
How are dead ish fighting games like samsho or granblue vs during sale months? Can I atleast expect to find a few online matches during these times or will it still be dead.
I dislike most of the games you picked. Pizza tower would be the true gaming choice. I only picked stray for the cat and outlast because I have the other two outlast games.
Oh really anon? Here is a screenshot of my playtime.

Are the achievements that easy?

For the most part yes. The main game is short like 30 hours and the DLC is basically 54 hours worth of content on top. I will say it does help to do co-op when you need help otherwise it's not hard. Especially if you have played Nioh at all which it's very close to.
It's because the DLC does not count as the base game on Steam. The one i missed was the hardest one to get. It would mean having to go through the labyrinth in DLC for 80 levels STRAIGHT for Tonberry. Which no way would i be able to due in all honesty due to disconnects happening.
>Octopath Traveler >Ninja Gaiden >Pizza tower >Dark Tide >Nier Replicant >Stranger Of Paradise(also recommend DLC that is just 1$ more as it is feature packed and gives 2 extra classes.)
I'm mostly interested in your opinions on Ori 2 and Panzer Dragoon, but feel free to share your thoughts on the others too.
Note that I'm planning on actually playing them all soon, I'm not a collector.
NG and Octo
Nidhogg, haven't played the others
NieR and Biomutant
Ori and the will of the wisps is the sequel and end chapter to the franchise, improves everything from technical to gameplay stuff, much bigger game than the first, it's the most stunning 2D platformer I've ever played.
Ori 2 is better than Ori if you prefer more combat, i recommend it
Sounds good then. I'm not a big fan of the first Ori, but I finished and liked it, so if 2 is at least of the same quality or better, than it's surely worth such a low price.

Is it worth getting the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm trilogy? I played Generations back on the 360 but never played one of the mainline games, thoughts?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2139300/Redemption_Reapers/
SRPG by former Fire Emblem staff in a Grim Dark setting with a band of the hawk going against the orc horde. Definitely recommend it on Sale.
Need good build autism games. Like troubleshooter: abandoned children or soccer spirits (shitty gacha I used to play) if you know what I mean. Games where you >have a team of homies >can spec each of them according to your preference (with a lot of viable choices) >team members have interactions with each other
Ideally it should be fairly difficult, but I don't care much about what genre it is. I just don't like the shitty arena battles like in fell seal or fft (neither of which I have played, but it looks rather unappealing), I could be passing my judgement too quickly though.
Currently my eyes are on battle brothers
Cut Crystal Project, P3 and Ishin since those aren't particularly great deals. Maybe also Bravely, but SE is stingy with sales so it might not get much better.
cut p3 portable. a full remake is coming out soon. also portable version is ass compared to the original PS2 version. I'd cut digimon unless you are a huge fan of digimon.
Monster Sanctuary and Rain World are easily top 5 material for all indie games. Coromon is gay, but if you want another creature collector I recommend Nexomon 2. It's also gay, but also pretty fun
Oh absolutely, the game is great. The game is just that long.

There's still that bit of iffy-ness you get from translating japanese concepts and phrases to english every so often, but other than that I haven't seen anything grammatically wrong.
Actually wouldnt mind more games like this. Pretty much just this and age of darkness from what I can tell.

Tips for the game? Want to fire it up.
>Tips for the game?
Save often. Especially when you find new weapon schematics.
Level all your weapons (but don't grind, that's dumb).
You can skip the intro cutscene that starts every chapter, nothing new happens in them.
I'm surprised at how many people are recommending Darktide here. I mean, it's in a good spot at the moment but is still vastly behind on all of fartsharts promises. >one career every 3 months KEK
As someone who bought it on release, I'm shocked. The game is not worth what they are asking for, and probably won't be good for another couple of years, if ever. Complete blunder of false promises and 'what could be if we had someone working on it'. Big pass.
Me too, played since the closed alpha. it's hard for me to truly not recommend due to having 150 hours on the damn thing. But it's definitely got potential, i'll leave it at that.
As soon as they add more iconic classes the 40k-pigs will roll back in, and history will repeat itself just like Vermintide 2.
Persona 4 Golden and Moero Chronicle are the best i can recommend. Including Conception II if you like a good middleware company game for Dungeon Crawlers.
gbvs is a good game but i would advise against buying it now, i won0t bother checking but i don't think it still has an active scene online and certainly not after the sequel releases which is relatively soon
also it's not a jrpg if you thought that
I can't be bothered to get into warhammer. You buy one game, than you have buy at the very least all the other decent warhammer games. The barrier to enter is too much for me.
>mfw people buying now when new Humble Choice drops in three days
You homies. Also, rule is to ALWAYS wait for the last day as other shops might price match or you could come across price mistakes.
Usually gay shit plus no dollar tier anymore. Sometimes they get a good 10 dollar bundle but it is rare. Fanatical was good for awhile but they staying to slack
scp facility management simulator that goes far beyond what you expect both story and gameplay wise, to say any more is to begin to heavily spoil the experience.
The game starts off very easy but ends up being quite brutal and punishing.
Oh this is related to that limbus game that was buzzing for a bit.
I mean shit it's 66% off so why not. how about the library one? is that one worth picking up too?
Oh absolutely, the game is great. The game is just that long.
personally Library of Ruina is my all time favourite game/experience/story (when combined with Lobotomy Corporation).
The actual game part is completely different, Library of Ruina is a turn based game (with a -lot- of unique spins on the '4 homie's in a row' genre) with significantly higher production quality and one of the best soundtracks in gaming.
so get both and play them in order?
how's controller support for them?
im guessing for the first one nonexistent?

Anonymous
lobotomy would be utterly unplayable with controller and Ruina would not be far behind.
Lobotomy demands 110% of your attention for upwards of 30 minutes in a row during it's harder sections, Ruina being turn based means it's a much more relaxed game in terms of playing but the way the targeting system works for actions a controller seems awful. I would be very surprised if there's any support in either game.
Both games can be played entirely with the Mouse though, keyboard is completely unused for Ruina and only used for very minor things (that you can also do with mouse) in Lobotomy.

And yes Library of Ruina is a direct sequel to Lobotomy Corporation. It features a lot of the same characters and is set very shortly after Lobotomy's ending.

>Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children
Get the game but ignore the plot. The plot has the worst pacing I've ever seen in a game and the translation approaches incomprehensible both because of low quality and because after hours and hours of reading the Hua Xi fighting the Hu Dong and the Black Spoon with the help of the Sparrow Moons and the King Kongs (but they have a secret negotiation going on with Hu Rao Fong Kong) you feel like you're going fricking insane.
what are some porn games for the cultured gentleman?
The Last Sovereign if you prefer the gameplay more than the porn. It's free as well.
honestly i had a harder time remember which character the names Jacob, Pete, Mark, etc related to more than the chinese/korean ones which were relegated to one faction, mostly.
>DD
A game with only 2 towns barely any story piss easy combat you have to artificially limit yourself to enjoy and even then its too fricking easy even if you never use healing items and the weakest gear and avoid knocking enemies down or grabbing them in a spot they can't immediately hit
>Lobotomy
Niche game with no demo that's super hit or miss and for more people miss than hit with a gameplay loop that boils down to repetitivetactics
>Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children
I was enjoying this game but then they just kept adding systems on top of systems on top of systems and it felt like it really bogged the game down.
I would argue it fails at delivering on anime girls if thats the goal. The sequels are better in that regard, but even they dont deliver on anime girls to the extent most japenese games would.
>Tips for the game? Want to fire it up.
Start the game on HARD difficulty. Anything before is too easy. But if you're that b***h, you can lower the difficulty anytime.
Also, what this guy

said in terms of saving and your equipment. You want to max your shit because it basically unlocks your perks, which you can slot in and out of depending on the situation and your playstyle.
I played the game on the hardest difficulty and everything killed me in 1-3 hits so I just kept Berserk activated permanently which makes you die in 1 hit since i already was but triples(?) your damage.
Once I found berserk the game was unironically too easy.
>hardest difficulty and everything killed me in 1-3 hits so I just kept Berserk activated permanently
That's the downfall of the hardest difficulty. If everything basically one-shots you, why not go berserk permanently?
If you're somewhat, "competent" in your gaming skills, it really is too easy. But your average joe will struggle, especially now that there is no time stop on your cast.

Casette Beasts? I have not played it yet but it seems to fit
The Nexomon games are also just literal pokemon reskins.
You're right on Nexomon I forgot it existed I haven't played casset beasts but something about it's monster designs puts me off it feels like a bootleg reddit safe for work version of pokemon clover just from looking at it

You fricking marketers really need to spend more time learning the lingo that gets used around here. It always sticks out.
It is worth mentioning the devs officially uploaded the game to The Pirate Bay:
>Steam lets you refund a game if you haven't played it for more than 2 hours, and as a developer we can see the reason why people refunded it. When we read the explanation from someone who wrote that he needed the refund because he didn't want his parents to be stressed out when seeing the bill at the end of the month... well, it made us feel quite bad. >So we decided to do something about it! If you don't have the money and want to play the game, we have a safe torrent on the Pirate Bay of the latest version of Darkwood (1.0 hotfix 3), completely DRM-free. There's no catch, no added pirate hats for characters or anything like that. We have just one request: if you like Darkwood and want us to continue making games, consider buying it in the future, maybe on a sale, through Steam, GOG or Humble Store. But please, please, don't buy it through any key reselling site. By doing that, you're just feeding the cancer that is leeching off this industry.
You should probably buy the game if you can. The devs are really based.
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2023/06/steam-deck-hits-over-10000-verified-and-playable-games/
Good! I think Steam has been getting better in recent months to warrant the purchase vs last year when it was experimental. It already has 10k games verified and playable now. Also Stranger Of Paradise is Steam Deck ready.
Nothing fancy and full of weeb shit, I have doubts on Anno, Afterimage and Lost Epic, maybe I should just buy Castlevania Advance Collection instead, is Toukiden 2 any good / fun?
I've heard people say that ANNO is cheap chink shit.
Yeah, that's what I've been wondering, you can't trust chinese games.
Since you guys were talking about cheap shit, Toukiden 2 imo feels pretty fricking cheap. When I bought it around release I dropped it because the game felt like it wasn't even finished. Might be fixed now, but still be careful.
Honestly, go for it. It's a lot more fast paced than monster hunter and the story is somewhat "interesting" (which would be a big step up from ANY monster hunter game if you care for that). There's also a lot more build variety than monster hunter, I think the game can be fun. (Don't bother playing with keyboard and mouse, it's abysmal).
>Anno
The combat is serviceable and a bit too easy at times. It's a bit of a metroidvania in some aspects but it's a story-driven game so there isn't much backtracking aside from going back to the city to poke around for a few sidequests. The story is nice if you like "family stays together" stuff.
Also, despite the good presentation, the game is actually fairly short so don't expect a "2D Cyberpunk 2077" from it. >Afterimage
I really enjoyed this one, my favorite out of these three. The story is nonsense but there is very little story overall since you will spend most of the time exploring the big metroidvania-style world, looking for character upgrades and rare weapons. The combat is great after you unlock more skills, like the greatsword's counter and the katana's Instant/iaijutsu upgrade. >Lost Epic
It's similar to Afterimage in some aspects, but very weak overall.
Berseria combat is one of the most imbalanced in the entire series. MC absolutely shits out damage with full super-armor all the time, most other character gimmicks are so weak to not be worth using, combat feels fairly bad in general because it uses essentially a worse version of Graces CC system (which itself was only really fun in newgame+)
Anno is just a good looking game. Very boring story where you largely just get told to go here or there, boring combat, way too much of it is combat for how mediocre it is.
With Tokiden 2 you're paying a still fairly high price for something that looks like a PS3 game and plays worse than even the most mediocre of games in the series its blatantly copying. Its not a bad game or anything, its above the lights of the ragnarok one or LoA, but its incredibly derivative and the entire time you'll just be thinkin "Wish I was playing MH" because its so similar.
Any recommendations based on these picks? Any game I should drop?
SoP if you're playing it because people told you it plays like Nioh. It really doesn't. Nioh has fairly indepth methoidcal combat, Jack's is just spam because heavy attacks 100% of the time stun (and lights 0% of the time stun) half the enemies.
Or if you're interested in literally any other aspect than the meh combat. Its blacksmith has no npc and barely any options, there are no shops, progress is incredibly linear both in and out of maps, story is literally a joke and the first lore dump item you find spoils the twist for you almost instantly, etc. It feels like they legitimately didn't try, at all.
Need more monster collecting games don't mention >Monster Crown >Monster Rancher >Monster Sanctuary >Monster hunter >Digimon >Coromon >TemTem >Ooblets >Siralim Ultimate

Rune Factory 4 and probably 5.
Free games but this is the main appeal to a lot of people in Elona +. You can capture and raise basically anything.
Here is half of my list, please help. Anything you like is a +
I like Rain World and FAITH. Former is brutal though, be warned.
Both quality despite the early access label? That's always the worry
[...]
I might have try and trust Ganker on Rain World
Rainworld isn't particularly brutal. You get checkpoints every like 5 rooms and the only cost to death is having to grind a bit. Its tedious at worst unless specifically playing Hunter (the only one where punishment matters at all).
Get this mod on remastered
https://www.nexusmods.com/darksoulsremastered/mods/312
Remastered was made by a chink studio and they completely fricked up the materials, armors don't look like metal anymore but clay and plastic. This one restores the normal materials and improves on them, it actually feels like a remastered version of Dark Souls PTDE. Some questionable decisions in the mod but 99% of it is very good. The water in ash lake is particularly great.

It filtered me but it's been almost 5 years since I last launched it
Should I buy the Prince of Persia collection?
It's just $9.5
You should check if the original trilogy works out the box. Prince of Persia 2008 is one of my favorite games of all time (runs beautifully too) and the Forgotten Sands is very enjoyable too (the platforming at least), I think it's well worth considering!
>Wait you can use steam money for the deck!?
yes. just to tell you a little story, some crazy anon last year gave away 8000 dollars worth of steam wallets and i got enough to buy a deck with it and it went through after I waited like 4 months to cash out. thank you to whoever that crazy anon was, if he's still alive or something
Never mooched a full on Steam Deck but all the little things I've got from anons over the years are nice makes me happy some of them I send stuff back too now every Christmas some of them send stuff back still it's a fun little thing I give I check wishlist for any of my spare codes as well as a bonus before dumping all of the rest on Ganker for new anons with my profile link attached like Bart Simpson with his mooching sack. I really hate Christmas but I do always have fun in those Ganker threads both giving and receiving like the gayest prison in sanfransico when the holiday packs come in. That's awesome you got a deck I hope the anon is alright too/ got away with whatever bullshit he was pulling to have money to burn like that

Cute RPG game it's not really that hard but it is a nice narrative driven game with really good pixel graphics.
If anyone is looking for some good puzzle droppers would recommend Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 at 8$ and Flipon for 2$ which is a Panel De Pon/Tetris Attack like game.
da2 is that bad. inquisition can be fun but some of the enemies can feel spongy af if you dont optimize your build and equips. Also don't stay in the first area for too long. get enought points to move on and explore the other regions. THEN go back.
Andromeda... it's almost as bad as me3 ending. the gameplay is solid tho but the story and stuff is dissappointing.
it's great tbh. starlord in the game is way more likable than starlord from the movies. It's a pretty good space opera type feel and it just feels satisfying after you finish.
Imagine mass effect but instead of being a trilogy it's one game with a satisfying conclusion.
Has anyone played the Long Drive? I want a game where I drive a lot and it seems to be what I want. There is some other silly stuff in there too as well as enemies and NPCs, I think?
How is enabling the excesses of the game industry through consumerism being its guardian
I'm not criticizing you anon, I have a ton of games too. Just don't like the name of the achievement
Falcom really knows their boss fights, just yesterday I was getting my ass handed by Gurumin's secret boss, took me like an hour to beat and I was playing on normal.
is Cassette Beasts good? How is the difficulty? because I bounced off Monster Sanctuary. It was good but expected a lot of team building and planning.
any other mon game recommendations?
I bought Code Vein and I feel like I'm already getting my money's worth just from the character creator. Any other games with such a fun character creator?
I remember Saint's Row 3 / 4 being really good, you could share the code for your creations or download or something like that, probably doesn't work anymore.

1. What's the best Jagged Alliance game available on Steam? Tolerance for older game design is very high
2. Did anyone try Redemption Reapers? A lot of the reviews said it wasn't worth the price at launch but I figured it might be worth a closer look at $30
It plays nothing like the other FNAF games (well, technically there are some segments that badly try to ape the signature gameplay, but it's entirely inferior to the actual other games). In my opinion, it's the worst one. Turned actually unique gameplay into another Amnesialike run 'n hide.
MonHun Stories 2 is cute and a lot of fun. It does not really get challenging outside of optional fights until the endgame which is a shame, but it's beautiful and raising your monsters is addictive.
I will say it also gets hurt a bit by the lack of monster variety in the early game, but there's a lot to choose from by the end
what weapon did you try? and yeah in this game you commit to your actions.
long sword is the easiest playstyle that can do fun shit. Insectglaive is cool but not that practical.
Yeah thats a way more advanced weapon. You need to charge and think ahead on what the monster you are hunting is going to do. A way to speed up while doing greatsword is trying to do charges and then tackling thru enemy attacks since that has a bit of hyper armor.
It's satisfying but also very easy to frick up with and miss all your damage.

Anonymous
>Yeah thats a way more advanced weapon.
oh okay maybe I should give it another try with a different weapon then
The combat is the best thing about it.
Every action in the game have three stats: efficiency (damage/healing power), defense (damage reduction) and wait (how many turns it takes to charge). Same applies to your enemies.
For example, using a high EFF, low DEF weapon will deal a lot of damage to your enemy, but if the enemy decides to use a low WAIT action, even if it is a low EFF attack it will deal a lot of damage. Playing "turtle" with high DEF actions doesn't work either because healing spells have a long WAIT and low DEF.
You always need to pick the right action with the right WAIT time in order to attack (with enough EFF to penetrate the enemy's DEF, or else you deal zero damage) and leave you enough time to prepare a defensive action. If you learn the enemies' combat patterns, you can make use of riskier low DEF moves in order to take enemies down while taking minimal or no damage.
Your inventory is limited so you can only carry a set amount of equipment (you can carry multiple weapons, each one of them is its own action), so you need to plan ahead or else you won't be able to progress. >generic RPG Maker game
There aren't a lot of games using 2k's RTP assets, but if you somehow played a shitton of then two decades ago this one won't bother you since there are also new sprites and animations, and the combat system doesn't use 2k's standard combat scene/UI.
Prodigal is a great GBC Zelda-like that's currently like 4 dollars (down from 15). Just snagged it myself after really liking the demo.
Spark the Electric Jester 3 is currently the very best 3D Sonic gameplay there is, it takes what worked well in the Sonic stages from the Adventure games and builds an entire game around that instead of just a small part of one.
Metal Hellsinger is basically the same concept, but neither are a lot like Quake. Amid Evil is my favorite of the boomer shooter crop, maybe see if that's what you're looking for?
Same.
Boring samey puzzles, boring MC (girl in the intro was much more likeable), boring overly easy combat, fundamentally boring setting because its an in-universe game.
>ZeroRanger
fantastic shmup, not much else to say other than I recommend >Katana ZERO
fun and engaging but you NEED to be okay with a mandatory story and actually reading >Touhou Luna Nights
Pretty good, fantastic remixes of the well-known themes, a bit unbalanced (you can skullfrick the bosses easily if you figure out the right techniques). Not a Metroidvania. >Infernax
Castlevania 2 if it was good. >CrossCode
Great combat and Zelda-style puzzles, but again, you need to be okay with both. If you don't like puzzles you definitely won't like the game. Also, you don't need to do ALL sidequests as soon as they show up. You'll burn out if you do. Get some good levels and gear and then leave them for later.
I really loved Luna Nights. It's very short but it's excellent while it lasts. It's the only tuhu I've ever played so that's not coming from a fan either.
I'm gonna do it

Taking suggestions for Steam Deck games. Especially if it is something either turnbased or easy to multitask with so I can watch teevee and play vidya.
Alright nice. FEAR 2 is grea t.Also People really like to talk shit about the 3rd game. But it's actually really good story & presentation wise. The gameplay is also fun but very different. I don't blame people for preferring the old non-cover shooter style. But FEAR 3 is still fun nontheless.
They are literally all garbage >Dusk, Iron Fury, Amid Evil

But before i do so, i wanna see if anons in here can actually solve what i'll post, so first i'll do a quick test, posting an example of how i'll encrypt my keys, but this test WILL NOT have a key in it, just a small message.
Pic related is the first part of the visual encryption, i'll reply to this post with the second part.
If you solve it, simply reply to either post with the message you find by solving this
Sure
PC Mustard Place, my scanner doesn't like code consisting of smaller squares I guess
>my scanner doesn't like code consisting of smaller squares I guess
yeah, i noticed how some scanners get confused if a given square contains roughly the same amount of black and white pixels, which results in reading some of those square as black when they should be white, which results in a different QR code, hence a different message

good, now i'll see what games to get to gift

or i need to find a way exclude the white parts from the equation so that it always results in white space rather than random noise, all without giving away the actual QR code in just one image

If you are the guy making images - it is fine, there is a way to do it in any image editor that supports layer blending. Not spoiling it cuz you know, keys and shit.

>there is a way to do it in any image editor that supports layer blending
that's true
Christmas was nice. Anons gifted me like three games. I pay it forward though. Just gave someone Crash team rumble 🙂
indeed it was, so in that same spirit, we should try to not encourage begging
gifting without begging is how we're able to do this on Ganker
They censored the game a few days after launch across all platforms and removed being able to look up skirts and replaced them with black voids Don't give these frickers money. It's fricking Fairy Tail why would they censor it?

Good shit.
Everyone usually says to pirate VTMB because Troika dead and the only reason it’s playable is the post-closure patch some ex-Troika devs made, but you obviously don’t value your rubles so you do you.
i thought it was a fake link and when it said enter email i started looking for license and clicking around to see if it was the legit humble bundle site..

There’s no way Steam took it out of your library. They don’t even do that for games that get kicked off their storefront because the devs threatened to firebomb their offices.
And no, Definitive Edition just has shittier lighting and frick-all else, just pirate the original.
If you're looking for an FPS and thought about buying Hunt Showndown, make sure you have two friends on board. Solo que / Solo with randoms is pure dog shit.
You've been warned.
enemies drop books after each combat. You can burn the books to get the cards they used in combat. This is how you make decks. They also have their own character pages with passives that you can equip to your librarians. it is a lot of fun.
yes sort of. You can direct your characters to attack whoever. They have an attack order though. You plan out all of your moves, then begin combat. Cards can clash with each other as well. So if you are faster than the enemy or it is attacking the same dice that you are using then the cards clash. It is probably easier to see a video of the combat. somewhat hard to explain

It's a direct sequel to lobotomy corporation so if you don't play/finish that game first Ruina will be a fricked experience.
It's not like Slay the Spire at all besides using 'Cards' to fight. The combat is significantly overhauled/upgraded jrpg turn based system but your cards/skills and 'equipment' function similar to monster hunter, in that you defeat an encounter, use the cards/equipment from the enemies in that encounter to power up your team, then do the same until the end of the game.
It's an extremely story heavy/based game, it's not a roguelike nor does it have any form of replayability whatsoever.
the game explains the events of the previous one fine. I played both games and I don't think it is required to play lobotomy. If you really care, you can watch a video recap of the story
No, it doesn't. What angela went through doesn't resonate nearly as much if you don't play lobotomy, all of the sephirah's backstories are contained with lobotomy only, THE Red Mist is just another enemy instead of being the hypest encounter in the game along with being able to use binah and the claw etc.
You absolutely ruin the total amount of enjoyment you can get from Ruina's story and world if you play it before Lobotomy.

forgot to mention all of the fricking abnormalities. That entire facet of the game is just 'oh look weird monster' if you don't play lobotomy.
Anyone who says yea just go ahead and play Ruina without Lobotomy are fricking sabotaging the kino that is Ruina. FRICK you and everyone else i see spewing this utter garbage.
No one got vac banned IIRC. He did make multiple shit threads giving away his shit game. But the ban part might have been paranoia. I'm not sure though
First for Vermintide 2
buy it.
All the DLC though...
completely optional, the maps included can be played even if you don't own the dlc. all you miss out on are the weapons and map specific unlocks.
the careers are for when you want a different playstyle.

Yeah

Opinion on Sniper Elite 4? Saw it was on my wishlist with a 90% discount

Drop all of the asiatic scribble weebshit.
Dq 11 is like a bad version of 8 I don't get the hype
La-Mulana is honestly just boring some times. Like, yeah it's very unique for what you have to do but it's just not fun unless you like games that're tedious for the sake of being tedious.

is satellite reign worth it? looks pretty neat , but I didn't want to spoil too much for myself
How are dead ish fighting games like samsho or granblue vs during sale months? Can I atleast expect to find a few online matches during these times or will it still be dead.
Pick two from each row.
Lob Corp, Ninja Gaiden
West of Loathing, Darktide
Outlast Trials, Nier Replicant.
Did you mean column?
Ninja Gaiden, Soulstice
Pizza Tower, Darktide
Nier, Strangers of Paradise
>Did you mean column?
Yeah, sorry.
stray
pizza tower
outlast the trials
I dislike most of the games you picked. Pizza tower would be the true gaming choice. I only picked stray for the cat and outlast because I have the other two outlast games.
Ninja Gaiden Collection and Stray
Dead Cells and Enter the Gungeon
(also why do you even have Gotham Knights in your wishlist?)
Road 96 and Spongebob (Heard good things about Neon White and NieR but I haven't played them)
Don't care about the rest
Just buy Stranger of Paradise
Stranger Of Paradise is the most Final Fantasy game of the last 15 years!
It unironically is though
I was not joking lol i meant it. I played through it and basically 100% the game.
you probably got that off google.
Oh really anon? Here is a screenshot of my playtime.
still not sure. send me webm with today newspaper and you giving a thumbs up.
Only 87 hours seems low.
Are the achievements that easy?
For the most part yes. The main game is short like 30 hours and the DLC is basically 54 hours worth of content on top. I will say it does help to do co-op when you need help otherwise it's not hard. Especially if you have played Nioh at all which it's very close to.
Whats last cheevo you didnt got anon? Curious.
>82/83
>"Acquired all achievements"
It's because the DLC does not count as the base game on Steam. The one i missed was the hardest one to get. It would mean having to go through the labyrinth in DLC for 80 levels STRAIGHT for Tonberry. Which no way would i be able to due in all honesty due to disconnects happening.
What did you base the row division on?
>Octopath Traveler
>Ninja Gaiden
>Pizza tower
>Dark Tide
>Nier Replicant
>Stranger Of Paradise(also recommend DLC that is just 1$ more as it is feature packed and gives 2 extra classes.)
Octopath Traveler and Ninja Gaiden.
Pizza Tower and Darktide.
Nier and Stranger of Paradise.
Lobotomy Corp
Stray
Pizza Tower
Dead Cells
Nier
Stranger of Paradise
Anno Mutationem, Ninja Gaiden
Pizza Tower, Gungeon
Stranger in Paradise, Nier
chaosbane, stray
lego star wars, darktide
nier, final fantasy
I'm mostly interested in your opinions on Ori 2 and Panzer Dragoon, but feel free to share your thoughts on the others too.
Note that I'm planning on actually playing them all soon, I'm not a collector.
NG and Octo
Nidhogg, haven't played the others
NieR and Biomutant
Ori 2 is more combat focused than the first. Up to you if you find that good or not.
Sounds good then. I'm not a big fan of the first Ori, but I finished and liked it, so if 2 is at least of the same quality or better, than it's surely worth such a low price.
Ori and the will of the wisps is the sequel and end chapter to the franchise, improves everything from technical to gameplay stuff, much bigger game than the first, it's the most stunning 2D platformer I've ever played.
Ori 2 is better than Ori if you prefer more combat, i recommend it
Nier and Jack's game
Gungeon is good too, frick the rest

Ending fricking sucked though

Golden Krone Hotel has the same ending. Its so moronic I'm surprised someone else did it.
>Ending sucked
I figured out early on to skip every line of dialogue and don't regret that choice
Is it worth getting the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm trilogy? I played Generations back on the 360 but never played one of the mainline games, thoughts?

SRPG by former Fire Emblem staff in a Grim Dark setting with a band of the hawk going against the orc horde. Definitely recommend it on Sale.
Need good build autism games. Like troubleshooter: abandoned children or soccer spirits (shitty gacha I used to play) if you know what I mean. Games where you
>have a team of homies
>can spec each of them according to your preference (with a lot of viable choices)
>team members have interactions with each other
Ideally it should be fairly difficult, but I don't care much about what genre it is.

Bravely Default 2 is really mediocre compared to the first one, don't be fooled thinking it'll be just as good. (It's not, it's terrible).
Monster Sanctuary and Rain World are easily top 5 material for all indie games. Coromon is gay, but if you want another creature collector I recommend Nexomon 2. It's also gay, but also pretty fun
Rain World is boring slop, disregard the opinion of anyone who likes it.
recommend me a game!

Fair warning, I'm 50 hours in and still haven't beaten the game.
Has it been an enjoyable 50hrs so far? or are you waiting for the game to be done?
Oh absolutely, the game is great. The game is just that long.
i wonder if the recent re-translation improved the experience much.
When i played i understood what was going on but all the dialogue felt extremely stilted and amateur.
There's still that bit of iffy-ness you get from translating japanese concepts and phrases to english every so often, but other than that I haven't seen anything grammatically wrong.
>Tips for the game?
Save often. Especially when you find new weapon schematics.
Level all your weapons (but don't grind, that's dumb).
You can skip the intro cutscene that starts every chapter, nothing new happens in them.
Russian roulette with all the chambers loaded.
The witcher
Normiest most played games I've ever seen on Ganker
Yeah i don't have autism sadly. so i stick out here.
Wasteland 3 or Shadowrun
Is new world good yet? I like games where you walk around generic fantasy worlds.
KEK. I don't know how I have so many hours in new world..
it was good with the fresh start stuff but now to my knowledge it's dying and shit again.
but for just exploring a fantasy world and stuff it's p good. just dont flag up for pvp.
As soon as they add more iconic classes the 40k-pigs will roll back in, and history will repeat itself just like Vermintide 2.
i'm trying to buy some cheap JRPGs
what else can I have
Get rid of the weebshit, pig.
GBVS is not a JRPG.
The barrier to enter is too much for me.
warhammer as in total war? or just the series in general?
Should I get Ready or Not?
ready for what?
get swat 4, same game for a fraction of the price and a mangitude of the soul
It's great with friends but there's no progression right now and playing with randoms is mostly awful.
Bought Deep Rock galactic.
It's fine, but nowhere near as fun as EDF.
Hit me up with your finest Metroidvanias bros
Here is half of my list, please help. Anything you like is a +
Half these are barely games. I come off schizo with taste all over the place.
Slime Rancher 2 and Against the Storm are both quality
Both quality despite the early access label? That's always the worry
I might have try and trust Ganker on Rain World
I like Rain World and FAITH. Former is brutal though, be warned.
wat ya mean faith ain't brutal. alot of dark stuff happens in the game.
what does former mean, anon
Oh wait, I just realized what you were trying to say
I meant brutal in gameplay, not graphic content
Hardspace Shipbreaker is a really chill game. I enjoyed it a lot.
Gal guardians is very solid
Dave the diver is pretty kino

>Humble Choice
this shit was already confirmed to be in it via leak
Buy Dragon's Dogma, Lobotomy Corporation and Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children
>Lobotomy Corporation
Sell me on it.
scp facility management simulator that goes far beyond what you expect both story and gameplay wise, to say any more is to begin to heavily spoil the experience.
The game starts off very easy but ends up being quite brutal and punishing.
also superb soundtrack
Oh this is related to that limbus game that was buzzing for a bit.
I mean shit it's 66% off so why not. how about the library one? is that one worth picking up too?
That sounds awesome! thanks anon o7
personally Library of Ruina is my all time favourite game/experience/story (when combined with Lobotomy Corporation).
The actual game part is completely different, Library of Ruina is a turn based game (with a -lot- of unique spins on the '4 homie's in a row' genre) with significantly higher production quality and one of the best soundtracks in gaming.
so get both and play them in order?
how's controller support for them?
im guessing for the first one nonexistent?
lobotomy would be utterly unplayable with controller and Ruina would not be far behind.
Lobotomy demands 110% of your attention for upwards of 30 minutes in a row during it's harder sections, Ruina being turn based means it's a much more relaxed game in terms of playing but the way the targeting system works for actions a controller seems awful. I would be very surprised if there's any support in either game.
Both games can be played entirely with the Mouse though, keyboard is completely unused for Ruina and only used for very minor things (that you can also do with mouse) in Lobotomy.
alright thank you o7
And yes Library of Ruina is a direct sequel to Lobotomy Corporation. It features a lot of the same characters and is set very shortly after Lobotomy's ending.
troubleshooter looks fricking awful and cringe. Bought dragons dogma tho
gameplay wise it is is xcom with permanent, units but said units have an enormous degree of customization.
The story is very mediocre though, even if it wasn't translated amatuerly.
The Last Sovereign if you prefer the gameplay more than the porn. It's free as well.
honestly i had a harder time remember which character the names Jacob, Pete, Mark, etc related to more than the chinese/korean ones which were relegated to one faction, mostly.
Dragon's dogma is in every Capcom bundle and will be until the sequel comes out
>DD
A game with only 2 towns barely any story piss easy combat you have to artificially limit yourself to enjoy and even then its too fricking easy even if you never use healing items and the weakest gear and avoid knocking enemies down or grabbing them in a spot they can't immediately hit
>Lobotomy
Niche game with no demo that's super hit or miss and for more people miss than hit with a gameplay loop that boils down to repetitivetactics

you can ignore monster taming and robot building completely.
Apart from that it really just comes down to mastery and ability selection which I think is fine.
lel that guy probably isn't even up to monster taming or robot building yet
But fr the game has so much shit that's not really core to enjoying the game. They need an editor.

Seconding
. What does the game deliver besides anime girls?
I would argue it fails at delivering on anime girls if thats the goal. The sequels are better in that regard, but even they dont deliver on anime girls to the extent most japenese games would.
Tokyo Jungle but it's playstation exclusive so you'd have to emulate it
bought Far Cry 4, might buy Borderlands
what are other good/decent and fairly old games?

Brotato cheap 4$ game and can have overwhelming enemies and challenges.
Great on the Steam deck
Actually wouldnt mind more games like this. Pretty much just this and age of darkness from what I can tell.
Tips for the game? Want to fire it up.
>Tips for the game?
>HARD
Hell at least or don't bother.
Been playing digimon and class of 09

Thought on Mafia?
I thought it was ok
the mafia games are story focused and the open world doesn't really matter so don't expect GTA or something
Personally I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Woah that's kind of based might have to get it now
Any recommendations based on these picks? Any game I should drop?
You better keep Jack's Game and Like A Dragon 7.
i legit stopped playing like a dragon because of the hobo homosexual...
so if dumb fricks being moronic piss you off dont get that game.
Like a dragon is arguable the worst yakuza game. frick i hate them for doing the turn based meme
Dusk is in game bundle. $4.99 for 3 games on fanatical.
i'm gon do it
steam deck
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2023/06/steam-deck-hits-over-10000-verified-and-playable-games/
Good! I think Steam has been getting better in recent months to warrant the purchase vs last year when it was experimental. It already has 10k games verified and playable now. Also Stranger Of Paradise is Steam Deck ready.
pretty much exactly why i waited a year was for steamos/proton to get better
That's a shame, I just want a monster hunting game where breaking parts actually matter, how I wish Freedom Wars wasn't trapped in the Vita.
Rune Factory 4 and probably 5.
Free games but this is the main appeal to a lot of people in Elona +. You can capture and raise basically anything.
Rainworld isn't particularly brutal. You get checkpoints every like 5 rooms and the only cost to death is having to grind a bit. Its tedious at worst unless specifically playing Hunter (the only one where punishment matters at all).
>STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN
could it possibly get cheaper?
Should I buy Starship Troopers?
There's literally nothing worth getting anymore. I miss 2007.
Thoughts?
drop dark souls remastered
Cat Quest 1 & 2 are very fun. Good choice.
>Cat Quest 1 & 2
Shockingly good games for what they are.
The water in ash lake is particularly great.
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2023/06/steam-deck-now-the-global-1-top-seller-on-steam/
I swear Steam is starting to gain heavy right now for handhelds.
Should I buy the Prince of Persia collection?
It's just $9.5
I was going to say that If you have never played them then absolutely but reading Steam reviews it seems the ports are not good so now I don't know.
How is Underrail for someone who wants to play blind
It filtered me but it's been almost 5 years since I last launched it
You should check if the original trilogy works out the box. Prince of Persia 2008 is one of my favorite games of all time (runs beautifully too) and the Forgotten Sands is very enjoyable too (the platforming at least), I think it's well worth considering!
Wait you can use steam money for the deck!?
Yes in theory you could buy a deck flipping TF2 shit
That's awesome you got a deck I hope the anon is alright too/ got away with whatever bullshit he was pulling to have money to burn like that
any japanese indie games on sale?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/257030/Project_Nimbus_Complete_Edition/
1.74$ It's very similar to Armored Core and it's really good for what it is honestly.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1131920/LABYRINTH_OF_TOUHOU__GENSOKYO_AND_THE_HEAVENPIERCING_TREE/
Good if you like an Isometric map and classical Dungeon Crawler fighting with deep customization and depth in it's mechanics. 24$ but still a great game
https://store.steampowered.com/app/373770/LiEat/
Cute RPG game it's not really that hard but it is a nice narrative driven game with really good pixel graphics.
LiEat is 1.74$
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1947940/beat_refle/
Rhythm Messaging game with fanservice by Qureate studio.
Are these Atari rebakes any good?
Anyone?
If anyone is looking for some good puzzle droppers would recommend Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 at 8$ and Flipon for 2$ which is a Panel De Pon/Tetris Attack like game.
Does Spyro Reignited have unlocked framerate?
yes
are they really THAT bad?
I played inquisition and it wasn't that bad. It's not perfect but if you like the genre you can play it
da2 is that bad. inquisition can be fun but some of the enemies can feel spongy af if you dont optimize your build and equips. Also don't stay in the first area for too long. get enought points to move on and explore the other regions. THEN go back.
Andromeda... it's almost as bad as me3 ending. the gameplay is solid tho but the story and stuff is dissappointing.
How is that Guardians of the Galaxy game?
excellent movie, terrible game
redditslop goycore
it's great tbh. starlord in the game is way more likable than starlord from the movies.
Space games that play well on steam deck???
Anyone played this? It's pretty cheap and looks neat.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/994730/Banner_of_the_Maid/
if you like srpg's i'd get it. i already have it for the switch and enjoyed my time with it.
Are you ok with AI art? It makes me sick
kek that game came out before ai art was a thing. that's just asian art aesthetic.
Really? It looks AI as frick specially the colors.
AI art has to steal from something
I don't think ai art was a thing in early 2019
have a nice day, moron.
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/994730/view/2514646601452024690
It's ok, nothing you haven't seen before, but the artstyle is great.
Any reccs?
I recommend you get better taste in wine, women and gaming.
post your account homosexual. bet you dont even play games.
You got me.
>bet you dont even play games.
Post hours you hoarder
okay you guys actual got me for real this time. All those game are actually free to play games. I got 10, 000 hours in tf2 and 3,000 in fartnite.
>afraid to show games played
yeah run away pussy
You needa pump those numbers up son.
How is enabling the excesses of the game industry through consumerism being its guardian
I'm not criticizing you anon, I have a ton of games too. Just don't like the name of the achievement
Huh whats your problem?
>Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor
Is this any good? I've been on a 40k vidya binge lately
Yeah it's decent, not the best of it's type but if you're a 40k gay you'll probably enjoy it
Thoughts?
It's extremely janky, a load of walking, and totally overrated.
if you're not playing with a friend don't bother, unless you're on the spectrum
awful
Got Legend of Grimrock 2 which fricking owns ass so far I can't believe I waited this long to play it
Pick up Ys Chronicles.
Falcom really knows their boss fights, just yesterday I was getting my ass handed by Gurumin's secret boss, took me like an hour to beat and I was playing on normal.
>Gurumin's secret boss
Frick black bean!
All my homies hate black bean.
Also, if you haven't already played Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure, buy it it's only 2$.
is Cassette Beasts good? How is the difficulty? because I bounced off Monster Sanctuary. It was good but expected a lot of team building and planning.
any other mon game recommendations?
I thought Cassette Beasts was pretty great, definitely worth at the price too. Not quite as difficult as monster sanctuary either.
If you haven't played Monster Hunter Stories 2 that's another good one as well, probably the best looking monster team building game out there too
Siralim Ultimate sounds like what you want
I bought Code Vein and I feel like I'm already getting my money's worth just from the character creator. Any other games with such a fun character creator?
bumping because i'm also interested
code vein was great btw, have fun
The Way of the Samurai games don't get as lewd or modern, but they have the same accessory moving system so they might scratch your itch a bit.
I remember Saint's Row 3 / 4 being really good, you could share the code for your creations or download or something like that, probably doesn't work anymore.
black desert?
Im not sure if some of the customization is paywalled tho...
>buy black desert
>class outfit is paywalled
>and also time-limited
I hated this bullshit two decades ago, and I still hate it now. Frick you Korea.
i don't know how korea CONSISTENTLY bends over backwards for the most cancerous microtransitions in gaming and is okay with it.
Any korean mmorpg ever (strangely, lies of P, made by korean mmorpg devs decided agains this)
The most recent phantasy star
Nioh 2 (Just 2, Nioh 1 and SoP both have static characters and the latter doesn't even let the majority of those wear more than like 3 variations of armor skins)
The most recent baldurs gate
(almost all of these are bad games though)
Ooh, that's good to hear about Nioh 2. That's on my list, but I really want to 100 percent Nioh 1 first since I know I won't want to go back.
1 is a 6/10
2 is an 8/10
SoP is a 3/10
You should just skip to 2, its by far the best one even ignoring the char creator
step it up
Code Vein character creation is cool but game is mediocre.
Any recommendations with similar character creation?
>Stardeus
This looks like Rimworld in space, is it good?
yeah but why get that instead of modding rimworld with SOS 2 instead
Anything I should add?
thinking of a dungeon crawler type game.
>cart
kino taste
>thinking of a dungeon crawler type game
Try Labyrinth of Refrain
Already got that one on the switch. Waiting for a sale on the sequal.
>legend of Grimrock
Picked up
>xanadu next
Holy frick is the music always that good??
This game is insta buy where the frick has it been..
im looking forward to it!
Thank's for the rec's im out
>Holy frick is the music always that good??
That's the Falcom secret sauce baby, headphones are a must
>dungeon crawler type game.
Legend of Grimrock
>Gankeralidate me: the cart
Ruina is excellent. Learn the battle system though or you will have a miserable time once it starts being actually challenging.
>dungeon crawling type game
Legend of Grimrock
Xanadu Next
Astlibra fricking OWNS by the way, need to finish it but I've dumped 50 hours into it so far and had the time of my life
Will I enjoy Like A Dragon if I haven't play any of the yakuza series?
>mfw Sega Bass Fishing mogs every game in the thread
Nothin personal, guppy.
reminder to not buy anything from pozzed shit companies like squenix or capcom
no i don't care they sometimes release something decent, just pirate it
you buy pozz ahit you lose any right to complain about "games now bad"
didn't read buying form all triple a gaming companies and there nothing you can do to stop me.
rec me some games pls
Hope I don't regret it.
Does Rain World go on sale a lot? I see its coming to xbox for 25 but its 9.99 on steam.
Its on sale a lot, in bundles a lot and as a result cheap on keysites.
BROS IM SREACHING FOR A GAME LIKE PIC RELATED
ANY SUGGESTIONS??
Crash Bash
I'm not shitting you, the only answer you will get is Crash Bash because every other party game is copying Mario Party or doing their own thing.
but I just want a fun game to play with my bros
why every new indie game must be a rogue-like crafting sandbox card tactics shit
1. What's the best Jagged Alliance game available on Steam? Tolerance for older game design is very high
2. Did anyone try Redemption Reapers? A lot of the reviews said it wasn't worth the price at launch but I figured it might be worth a closer look at $30
if you want more Ace Combat then check out Project Wingman
Is this game actually horror or is it just a meme?
t. Never played a five nights at Freddys game.
It plays nothing like the other FNAF games (well, technically there are some segments that badly try to ape the signature gameplay, but it's entirely inferior to the actual other games). In my opinion, it's the worst one. Turned actually unique gameplay into another Amnesialike run 'n hide.
It's not really worth it.
I recommend that you play help wanted
If anyone could give me opinions on these games, I would be very grateful:
>Old World
>Spellforce Conquest of Eo
>King Arthur Knights Tale
>MonHun Stories 2
>Humankind
Thanks a lot!
Anyone else? Thanks for opinion on MonHun of course.
Thoughts on the Pillars Eternity Collection? Has both games with all DLCs for $22.
AAAAAAAHHHHHHH WHAT THE FRICK DO I GET WITH $5.72!?!
Battle block theater
I've owned that for years!!!
a job
Ive never actually played a MH game, should I?
Play the demo first.
>downloads demo
>starts game
>see picrel
>caring about this shit while using windows
I molested my windows and have autistic firewalls and firewalls for my firewalls
played 30mins of demo it felt so slow and clunky
MHRise slow and clunky???? what games do you play
Don't buy it, then.
what weapon did you try? and yeah in this game you commit to your actions.
long sword is the easiest playstyle that can do fun shit. Insectglaive is cool but not that practical.
I tried the first weapon the huge claymore
Yeah thats a way more advanced weapon. You need to charge and think ahead on what the monster you are hunting is going to do. A way to speed up while doing greatsword is trying to do charges and then tackling thru enemy attacks since that has a bit of hyper armor.
It's satisfying but also very easy to frick up with and miss all your damage.
>Yeah thats a way more advanced weapon.
oh okay maybe I should give it another try with a different weapon then
World is a better entry point, I think.
Play world +iceborne
The alatreon and fatalis hunt shit on all that rise+ sunbreak have to offer
Then if you like the game, buy rise
Give me good, discounted indie games.
Bonus points for RPGs.
Helen's Mysterious Castle.
This looks extremely generic RPG Maker game n.4534521
What's the catch?
Bug Fables
cross code
Prodigal is a great GBC Zelda-like that's currently like 4 dollars (down from 15). Just snagged it myself after really liking the demo.
Spark the Electric Jester 3 is currently the very best 3D Sonic gameplay there is, it takes what worked well in the Sonic stages from the Adventure games and builds an entire game around that instead of just a small part of one.
Any games like this? Looking for some quake-esque boomer shooters.
Dusk
>Looking for some quake-esque boomer shooters
That game is nothing like quake thoughever
>quake-esque
moron hahaha
we really need a word for Doom2016 clones so people stop calling this shit boomer shooter
Metal Hellsinger is basically the same concept, but neither are a lot like Quake. Amid Evil is my favorite of the boomer shooter crop, maybe see if that's what you're looking for?
>Metal Hellsinger
Looks cool, I'll give it a shot. I'm just looking for games that bring the high intensity arcade gunplay of Quake.
>Metal Hellsinger
I liked that part where dlc includes bdsm outfit.
that game is a lot more doom than quake but i suggest dusk or amid evil
can we have a Ganker nigball tournament?
is pc finally on nextgen or are they still fricking locking that crap behind ps5/xbox
I have nothing to play
Thoughts about these games ?
>ZeroRanger
>Carrion
>Katana ZERO
>Touhou Luna Nights
>Infernax
>Crosscode
crosscode is great. im suprised more people havent played it at this point.
I dunno, I didn't really like it all that much. Combat felt very stiff and boring.
Same.
Boring samey puzzles, boring MC (girl in the intro was much more likeable), boring overly easy combat, fundamentally boring setting because its an in-universe game.
My fav demo intro
The hell is this from?
Some furry DMC clone, really bad. Forget the name
Carrion is very short and probably not worth 8 bucks.
>Carrion
decent, not great. Wouldn't pay more than $5
>Katana zero
Same, neither game wowed me but i finished them.
ZeroRanger is so good that it changed my mind entirely on vertical shooters.
>ZeroRanger
fantastic shmup, not much else to say other than I recommend
>Katana ZERO
fun and engaging but you NEED to be okay with a mandatory story and actually reading
>Touhou Luna Nights
Pretty good, fantastic remixes of the well-known themes, a bit unbalanced (you can skullfrick the bosses easily if you figure out the right techniques). Not a Metroidvania.
>Infernax
Castlevania 2 if it was good.
>CrossCode
Great combat and Zelda-style puzzles, but again, you need to be okay with both. If you don't like puzzles you definitely won't like the game. Also, you don't need to do ALL sidequests as soon as they show up. You'll burn out if you do. Get some good levels and gear and then leave them for later.
Katana zero is like being jerked off and they seal your dick up before completion and you are left in a state of agony
Katana Zero and Luna Nights are both great. A little short though
Katana DLC/Sequel fricking NEVER
I really loved Luna Nights. It's very short but it's excellent while it lasts. It's the only tuhu I've ever played so that's not coming from a fan either.
Picked up anything specifically for your Deck that you'd recommend?
I'm gonna do it
Can already tell after playing Stellaris for like 5 hours that I'm gonna sink god knows how much time in that game so might as well have the DLC
RIP
>stellaris dlc
don't. go to gg. deals and look up better deals. not ONCE have they been discounted sufficiently on steam
i hope you already own utopia
is town of salem 2 good? i like mafia that its based on
NTA, but last time I checked, you couldn't queue with friends. If that is something you care about, then I wouldn't buy it yet.
I got a billion games, anything good that released lately? I literally have every game from 2022 to 1874
Did you play a classic 1873 mongolian indie game called тaл нyтaгт aaлз?
No, I only have games from 1874 onward
For some reason it's not letting me post images right now. I submit the post, even get the cool down timer, but no post happens if there's an image attached. What's going on
How do I change my region to get cheaper prices?
Buy a plane ticket.
Would that work? I guess I'll take a vacation to turkey next year and try it out, thanks.
https://plati.io/itm/3-tl-card-steam-region-change-turkey--fast/3597402
based on this url I assume you give your steam id to some turkish scammer and he takes all your csgo skins and sells your account
Based on your response you are a moron. The link is for buy a turkish card and then you buy a game on steam with vpn and done.
>The link is for buy a turkish card
GOOD MORNING SIRS
DO NOT REDEEM THE TURKISH CARD
lel you buy a turkish card and then they use the credit card info they know to take your account, sell all your csgo skins and sell it off
Its actually breddy gud
Taking suggestions for Steam Deck games. Especially if it is something either turnbased or easy to multitask with so I can watch teevee and play vidya.
Definitely not GRIS. It's a boring pretentious walking sim. I only played it because I got it for free.
Noted. I'm surprised I haven't already gotten it for free.
The game awards twitter gave it away for free to anyone who retweeted one of their tweets. They were desperate to give it away.
forza 4 or assetto corsa with mods if i just want to drive comfily?
Anything I should add/remove from the cart Gankerros?
all the old games, goddamn grandpa
>2009 is old
Zoom zoom
Its when my wife graduated high school..
Did you play the first FEAR game?
Yes
Alright nice. FEAR 2 is grea t.Also People really like to talk shit about the 3rd game. But it's actually really good story & presentation wise. The gameplay is also fun but very different. I don't blame people for preferring the old non-cover shooter style. But FEAR 3 is still fun nontheless.
You have sex with men
How does this look?
AOE2 is based, you're going to spend a shitton of hours in campaigns alone.
I need JRPG recommendations before I end up buying Old World and Feefur 23
get fifa and do a blue lock playthru.
full ego striker.
>get fifa
was... feefur 23 not a stand in for fifa 23? KEK
my bad
What are your favorite boomer showers Ganker?
DUSK
Guys pls ;_;
>boomer showers
The kind you can sit down in
Not really what I'd think of when the term boomer shooter is thrown around. But Kingpin Life of Crime is pretty fun if you haven't tried it already
They are literally all garbage
>Dusk, Iron Fury, Amid Evil
50 foot wide maps, hyper-accurate weapons, no game of the era they're aping played like this shit
>Doom mod you pay for
LOL
>Viscera fast, mage guy shooter thing, etc
Spawn enemies directly behind you, move too fast for their maps, shit design
My pickups.
>zoomer craves the 'good old days' of 2009 despite girls in his class still hated him for being a freak.
Class of '09 is basically a "fricked up girls bullying freaks and nerds" simulator, so he is getting the full experience.
>Noita
I'd like to buy a Fatal Frame, but not sure which one to get. which one is the best? which is the coomer's choice?
>which one is the best?
Fatal Frame 2, which isn't on Steam.
>which is the coomer's choice?
Mask of the Lunar Eclipse has swimsuit and maid outfits, Maiden of Black Water has the wet cloth system but locks all the alt costumes to after game completion and they're not that great anyway.
>want get p5r and p4g
>autism inside me tells to wait till next year when p3r releases because of inevitable persona bundle
this sucks when am i supposed to sit down and play them
get gamepass? golden is on there p5r. p3 remake will be on there and persona tactics.
>Atlus
>bundle
lol, you will buy each Denuvo game and like it
Is Blue Reflection decent enough? I tried Ryza and didn't like it so I keep wondering if I should have gone for BR instead.
Recommend me some cheap pickups
Bought and played this game called HeatStroke.
It was torture. I recommend it.
I want to gift some game here, and i'll do it by dropping keys, but they'll be visually encrypted.
If you solve it, simply reply to either post with the message you find by solving this
here's the second part
pc mustard place
do i get a subway 5$ coupon
This is correct. Interesting way to make a QR code
good, now i'll see what games to get to gift
>my scanner doesn't like code consisting of smaller squares I guess
yeah, i noticed how some scanners get confused if a given square contains roughly the same amount of black and white pixels, which results in reading some of those square as black when they should be white, which results in a different QR code, hence a different message
I can't make out anything.
you're not supposed to make out anything by simply looking at the pics, there's a reason why it's 2 parts
06850120
Could've been harder tbh
wrong
get a better scanner, or use a different method to combine the pics
Sure
PC Mustard Place, my scanner doesn't like code consisting of smaller squares I guess
or i need to find a way exclude the white parts from the equation so that it always results in white space rather than random noise, all without giving away the actual QR code in just one image
yes it's worth it
>He's a hungry gamer. Chill
gifting without begging is how these threads manage to not get deleted
if people start begging, mods will delete threads
>or i need to find a way exclude the white parts from the equation so that it always results in white space rather than random noise, all without giving away the actual QR code in just one image
If you are the guy making images - it is fine, there is a way to do it in any image editor that supports layer blending. Not spoiling it cuz you know, keys and shit.
>there is a way to do it in any image editor that supports layer blending
that's true
indeed it was, so in that same spirit, we should try to not encourage begging
gifting without begging is how we're able to do this on Ganker
Christmas was nice. Anons gifted me like three games. I pay it forward though. Just gave someone Crash team rumble 🙂
PC Mustard Place
I know fairy tail is not discounted but any people that tried it?
also wo3u or dw8complete for my musou fix?
They censored the game a few days after launch across all platforms and removed being able to look up skirts and replaced them with black voids Don't give these frickers money. It's fricking Fairy Tail why would they censor it?
i'm looking for a game set in a similar time period or with a similar aesthetic to L.A. Noire. Are the Mafia games a good choice?
I played Mafia 2 around the same time as LA Noire for the same reason and I enjoyed it a lot - I'm not sure about the "definitive edition" tho
Rate my cart (even though I already bought it).
you will need mods for that/10
consider pirating/getting the GOG version of vampire the masquerade. devs won't get shit and actijews don't deserve anything
9/10
I don't know ATRI and I don't like Noita.
ASTLIBRA looks very good.
I played the rest and they're all at least good.
atri is good
getting an adaption soon as well if you want to hop on the train beforehand
>squeenix and bioware rpgs
zzzz
>point and click adventures
Bad puzzles and bad stories, carried by the art.
>Arx Fatalis
Good shit.
Everyone usually says to pirate VTMB because Troika dead and the only reason it’s playable is the post-closure patch some ex-Troika devs made, but you obviously don’t value your rubles so you do you.
>Everyone usually says to pirate VTMB
I didn't buy VTBM in the end so it's all good.
>astlibra is this years INFRA
lol
>near the end of a thread someone always posts a cart with astlibra in it and that post gets replies about how good astlibra is

He's a hungry gamer. Chill
>Bought sleeping dogs years ago for like $2
>Sat on my backlog
>Decided I want to play it
>It fricking vanished out of my library
>Went to the store page
>See this
Is it worth it? Is steam just gonna cück my inventory again because copyright bullshit?
Nothing can vanish out of your library, even if it is taken down from the storefront.
Steam is not at fault here, blame the publisher.
Squeenix did the same with Dragon Quest XI, it's why I'm never buying games on release.
There’s no way Steam took it out of your library. They don’t even do that for games that get kicked off their storefront because the devs threatened to firebomb their offices.
And no, Definitive Edition just has shittier lighting and frick-all else, just pirate the original.
Its still in my library.

If you're looking for an FPS and thought about buying Hunt Showndown, make sure you have two friends on board. Solo que / Solo with randoms is pure dog shit.
You've been warned.
I still regret that I didn't buy it when I had the chance, it costed like 2 bucks for me in 2019.
I want to buy Weird West since its so low but i just have this feeling its gonna end up in chocie by the end of the year
It’s low for a reason, because it sucks. How they made the shooting in a twinstick feel so shitty is a mystery.
I need a relaxing comfy game that I can play until Armored Core releases
Something like an isometric minecraft game
Here you go bruddah. Portal Knights. Practically Meinkraft
JX67A-GYHA7-KLETA

tier 3 countries only?
Doesn't work in CIS countries either. I have no idea what region this key is for. Latin America?
>not available in your country
what the frick it was?
Dirt 5
AUS here, also not available. Amazing.
thinking about getting library of ruina.
how is the combat? I see it's turn based (so based) but how does it work?
enemies drop books after each combat. You can burn the books to get the cards they used in combat. This is how you make decks. They also have their own character pages with passives that you can equip to your librarians. it is a lot of fun.
so it's like slay the spire combat?
yes sort of.
You absolutely ruin the total amount of enjoyment you can get from Ruina's story and world if you play it before Lobotomy.
they literally explain their backstories to roland lol.
forgot to mention all of the fricking abnormalities. That entire facet of the game is just 'oh look weird monster' if you don't play lobotomy.
Anyone who says yea just go ahead and play Ruina without Lobotomy are fricking sabotaging the kino that is Ruina. FRICK you and everyone else i see spewing this utter garbage.
I will play ruina without lobotomy, don't be angry baby 🙂

Thank you King!
Remember that anon who gave out a shit game then vac banned everyone?
Remember that anon who posted like 1000? fricking steam gift cards
Now that was based
No one got vac banned IIRC. He did make multiple shit threads giving away his shit game. But the ban part might have been paranoia. I'm not sure though
I'm legit just dumping my Humble Bundle dupes
