I watched the anime before playing the VN but I love both so much. Yes, its probably overrated, but its still a good ass story and has some of the most likeable characters I've ever seen

It's been a while since I've played it or watched the animu, but I feel like the story would have been more impactful if it had been revealed that instead of altering worldlines, Okabe just sends his consciousness to an alternate timeline, abandoning everyone and his other self to deal with alldatshit. Would've shut up all those homies who fixate on Luka becoming a female woman after pinging the pager-it would have just been a coincidence that he leapt into a timeline where Luka happened to be born a waman.
