D, the nipple area is small, and they probably don't zoom close to her chest, because it's not a porn animation. So a square nipple might look just as well as any other.
If you really think about it, the tit you posted is just a square that was subdivided 3 times, sculpted into a round shape, then capped with a single point. Personally, I think it's better to give the nipple a proper square top, because then you have geometry to shape the topside of the nipple properly.

In that case, you would want a decent silhouette of whatever you're zooming in on. Which, I think that square caps are more capable of producing. If you look at nipples up close, they're not perfectly round. There's crags and often relatively more flat on top than they are on the sides. If you think about it, modelling a nipple is very similar to modelling a tooth. You wouldn't give a tooth a pole would you?

I disagree there. When I want to add a loop, and it stops arbitrarily just before the pole, I feel a flash of fury. And then I have to manually attach the end of the loop to the pole.
But with a flat cap, the loop goes right through the middle cleanly. And if I don't want the loop to pass through the middle, then I simply delete the face I don't want it to pass through, make the lines, then fill the gaps.

Sure, you can transfer the normals to smooth out the shading on nipples. But doesn't that introduce a new problem, where the sides of the nipples, now have the normals of a front face? It's probably not very distinguishable as long as the nipples don't poke out too much. But if you have pronounced nipples with an angle that turns about 90 degrees away from the normal it's using, then it's probably going to look rather odd. IDK, it seems like extra work for something that isn't an issue in the first place. If you just flat cap on top of the nipples, you're going get clean shading anyway.

What's funny is according to the ESRB system, there is a rating beyond M which is AO, or (Adults Only) and I feel like it's only been used on a handful of titles in the last 30 years or so. It's even more hilarious because M FOR MATURE is for 17+ but then you had AO which was 18+ and there was a time where video game stores had to ID people who looked under 17 if they were buying an M rated game, nowadays I don't think they ID or give a shit. Growing up my mom didn't care if I played M rated games, but she always had to buy them for me since I couldn't myself.
Of course we're in the digital age now so you can just buy M rated games off a digital store like PSN, EGS, Steam, Xbox Gamepass, etc. You still need a debit card/credit card though, don't know how many high schoolers have that though. The rating of M or R for movies is meant to tell parents that they should really think twice before taking their children to see that film or play that game as it contains extreme content. Obviously having video games at home makes it so even an AO title can be played by a kid, but movie theaters would not sell a ticket to a kid for an NC-17 film. What's funny is according to the ESRB system, there is a rating beyond M which is AO, or (Adults Only) and I feel like it's only been used on a handful of titles in the last 30 years or so. It's even more hilarious because M FOR MATURE is for 17+ but then you had AO which was 18+ and there was a time where video game stores had to ID people who looked under 17 if they were buying an M rated game, nowadays I don't think they ID or give a shit. Growing up my mom didn't care if I played M rated games, but she always had to buy them for me since I couldn't myself.
Of course we're in the digital age now so you can just buy M rated games off a digital store like PSN, EGS, Steam, Xbox Gamepass, etc. You still need a debit card/credit card though, don't know how many high schoolers have that though. You probably still have a lot of parents who go into physical stores to physical games for their kids, of course they're just going to Target or Walmart most likely to get them, if not Gamestop.
The rating of M or R for movies is meant to tell parents that they should really think twice before taking their children to see that film or play that game as it contains extreme content. The rating of AO or NC-17 is supposed to block children from seeing said films or playing said games, even with a parent present. Obviously having video games at home makes it so even an AO title can be played by a kid, but movie theaters would not sell a ticket to a kid for an NC-17 film. Not that there have been a lot of those.
