I'm gonna be honest I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to discover a lot of heat actions. I feel like some are just random or other times they're just done over and over again like the ones Kiryu can do when someone is on the ground.
That said, I really like the one in the dice game place in Kiwami where you slam their heads into the corners of the wall.
Kiryu sat at the counter of New Serena, slowly nursing a Yamazaki 12. For all the bad memories this place held it had even more good ones, and he was grateful to find respite among the neon cluster that was Kamurocho. Date had excused himself to the back to handle some late-night inventory, so Kiryu expected to be all alone, and was mildly surprised to hear the door chime at this hour. He turned his head to see Saejima approaching, and smiled gently.
"Saejima-san, good to see- what is that?"
Kiryu locked on to the tiny thing dangling from Saejima's hand. Was that... Majima no niisan?!

Saejima woke up that morning more confused than any other day in his life. As he rode up the elevator into the main bar of the building Serena was in, he didn't plan on saying anything to Kiryu. Words wouldn't do none of them any good when he showed him the surprise that resided in his breast pocket.
Once there, he didn't say a single word to Kiryu. He didn't even respond to his greeting, he just dangled a rather disgruntled Majima from his snakeskin jacket. At the sight of Kiryu, however, his mood seemed to pick up.
And it did. He smiled wildly at the surprised Kiryu that stood before him, and he started swaying himself in between Saejima's fingers, "Oi, Kiryu-chan! Surprised?"

Kiryu looked back and forth between the two of them; Saejima seemed haggard and confused, while Majima seemed to be annoyed up until just now. Kiryu himself was at a loss for words at first, but he managed to collect himself enough to say:
"Y-yeah, I'm pretty surprised. Majima-san, what happened to you? You're so, uh..."
He wasn't sure if he should say the word he was thinking.
"Tiny?!" Majima finished his sentence for him. Aww, Kiryu was so cute. Not like a word like that would hurt his feelings, lord knows worse things have been said about him. Kiryu was just stating a simple fact. He was tiny, only four inches tall which was practically nothing when considering he stood at 6'2''only last night.
"Neither of us are real sure how it happened. It just... did." Saejima said, uncomfortable simply standing there without offering a little bit of insight on the whole situation. So many words were on his mind yet he couldn't even think on were to begin. "I just thought it'd be better if you saw 'im before any of his men did." That, and Majima's voice from this morning ringing in his head practically nagging him to see Kiryu.
"So, what do you think?" Majima asked, "It's something, isn't it, Kiryu-chan?"

"Right, yes, tiny"
Kiryu wasn't going to correct him that the word he was really thinking was 'puny'. He gulped down the last of his drink so that he could regard them properly. He looked down at Majima with barely suppressed awe, trying to wrap his head around the situation.
"Yeah, I didn't think anything like this was even possible, but I suppose weirder things have happened. So, you two haven't told anyone else yet? What have you been doing all day?"
Going from 0 to this, it's a ramp in difficulty which is fine, After the 3rd Kuze fight bosses actually felt more threatening. But frick me, I end up playing this like Dark Souls more so then a beat em up. I actually felt like using weapons, which is pretty gay.
