You may laugh, but imagine Johnny Tau blue-dick seeing an Elf Predator motherfricker throwing a rock and doing sick-ass poses on it before picking it up and repeating, that'd be pretty psychologically scarring.

Those at least get a pass cause they are jumping through the air, a tactical rock is better than a flying stand every time.
Man the sculpts are good but the poses are so fricking lame. Doesn't evoke the "predator" or "stalking hunter" feeling at all. Just some dudes tanding around on rocks. New banshees did a far better job at conveying the vibe of the unit.
Yeah I wish it was 50/50. Half doing attacking poses, half doing more sneaky or crouched poses.
Then again, according to the fluff from that Kill Team book, my mental image of Striking Scorpions is entirely wrong.

Consider for a moment that the amount of plastic going into making those ten tactical rocks very nearly could have been enough to make an eleventh Scorp. Or, if omitted entirely, make the kit cost 9.9% less.Who am I kidding, GW would charge 15% more for an alternate rock-free kit.

Removing 10% of the plastic from a box would not make the box cost 10% less to produce. The raw plastic isn't the expensive part.
The expensive part is the logo. It's all to create sense of worth. More gubbins = more dollars.
