Politics aside, Nintendo consoles are nonexistent in Russia. Or SONY consoles too. There's no money to be made in the market because there is no market, everybody in Russia plays pirated PC games like CounterStrike or DOTA. The ones who have a PC, that is.

Sony is actually somewhat big here, but Nintendo yes, partially it's a dead market. Nobody here really buys their games aside from the nostalgia bing bing wahoo boomers and maybe some parents to entertain their kids. Teens play mobileshit and the adults play either CS:GO or Dota. Nintendo's social media has piss poor ratings with posts barely receiving any likes, reposts, etc. The games cost about $60-65, something your average working class here would rather not waste money on.
