Fight Forever is good but not No Mercy good. The mechanics are not tight enough and No Mercy also has the advantage of having an attitude era wwf roster. It can't be beat even if the gameplay mechanics get topped.

I'll check it out. I always wanted to try a wrestling game after the N64 era. I ended up getting a Dreamcast game and it wasn't nearly as good as no mercy so I was disappointed.
check out all the ps1/2 smackdown games.
the PS2 rumble roses is probably worth a look too. its much better than you think it is, but also got kind of fricked in localization. for some reason they decided to remove the tutorial. the gameplay is good though. dont play the xbox one.
I'd say it was too far ahead of its time, the stuff in it was cool but the tech of that gen wasn't really there to make it work right, WCW/NWO Revenge was the perfect game of that console generation
