There's nothing quite like those 16-bit guitars. I like how the one boss theme was literally just a MIDI-ified Black Sabbath song and they just got away with it.
Spider-Man 2, ULT Spder-Man, and Web of SHadows are my trifecta of favorite Spider-Man games. I can easily argue for why any of them would be considered the "best" and that just goes to show how quality every title is. >The swinging in 2 was groundbreaking. >The story and art style in ULT along with Venom was a delight. >And Web of Shadows provided the most intricate web swinging and combat system of ANY Spider-Man game. Kicking a piece of shit off the ground with a web kick, slamming their ass against a wall and beating the shit out of them, and then finally launch them off the wall into the air and then proceed to continue the beatings.
Shame 2 never released on PC in any way that matters. I actually have Ultimate and Web of Shadows loaded into my steam library.
>Spider-Man 1&2: Enter Electro >Spider-Man 1&2 Movie games >Ultimate Spider-Man >Spider-Man: Web of Shadows >Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions >Spider-Man: Edge of Time
So many quality games just stuck in limbo because nobody will fricking port/remaster them.
Based Web of Shadows enjoyer. It's also one of the bests because you can have an ending where Symbiote Black cat is your waifu while you take over the world with symbiotes, true cringekino/edgekino.
Because they want to casualize the game as much as possible. I don't want to say we're "superior" at playing games than most people, but the actual swinging in the game put off a lot of people. There was a LOT of gamers that stuck with the automated mode and didn't bother with manual swinging. While I think the swinging in 2 was "tighter", I really did appreciate the web climb ability introduced in Ultimate.
boy i wonder if this is in relation to the 2018 game beckoning available on PC
It's a shame the PC port was garbage though.
It didn’t have one
not really. it's a fun game, one of the few PS2 games i still own.
but at the end of the day it's a shitty movie tie in.
She has that little something...
hit the wall at unprecedented speeds
cope
Still the best Spider-Man game
Now we're talking. Separation Anxiety at #2 for the coop.
I can hear the menu music just looking at the picture

That's not Ultimate Spider Man
I like Ultimate more but the web swinging in 2 is undeniably the best
I remember these threads 4 years ago.
Never played it.
Is it better than WoS?
Because WoS is better than Spiderman PS4.
>Is it better than WoS?
yes

Blegh
what about the neversoft game?
ive been trying to get a copy of web of shadows for years for ps3

Web of shadows was great, especially the DS version, but the web swinging and the game generally was broken on PC.
The swinging in spiderps4 was beyond disappointing. The frick is uo with the invisible floor? Why won't you let me fail, insomniac???
