I can't even imagine the kind of weird grip and ham hands you'd need to accidentally press C/Z, intentionally pressing them is inconvenient enough as is.
Does it have back triggers? I needs me some back triggers.
8bitdo Pro 2 has symmetrical sticks. 8bitdo Ultimate doesn't connect to Android. Fricking two controllers that almost get it right but don't. And don't even tell me about the King Kong Pro 2. I have one. It had a quality issues right out of the box that I fixed myself but is now dropping connection randomly less than a year in.
Dongle, but it can be used BT and wired. I use dongle and have never had issues with it disconnecting mid-game. Sometimes, I'll turn it on, load a game and it won't respond but that is game specific and can be bypassed by turning it on after loading the game or removing and reinserting the dongle and has happened to me in Daymare 1994 and Yakuza 4.
I've used dongle near exclusively on PC since November without issue. I've heard of disconnecting issues, but my understanding is it's a USB power delivery issue that could very well be specific to certain USB slots on the PC.

Would be GOATed if the 6 button layout was more like the Saturn's. I can't imagine those C and Z buttons being very usable for a fighting game where they are.
Best controller I've ever used. The screen is a lot more useful than I expected it to be. Just a quality controller that's fantastic to play games with. Note that I got it before it became available on Amazon though so I can't say if it's worth the $160 asking price on there for most. I'd pay that price but most people on here are frugal when it comes to controllers from what I've seen.
With how quickly controllers seem to break nowadays, 160 bucks is a steep price to pay. At least that's why I picked up the Vader 3 Pro over the Apex 4.
I normally ignore the apex line for being overpriced gimmicks, but apex 4 isn't restricted to xinput over dongle so I believe it could probably use gyro or keyboard binds without needing software open, maybe.
That doesn't really justify the price over Vader 3 to me, but maybe there's something else of merit to it that I don't know about.

False

True

EASY AS TWO ONE THREE
>asymmetric
Mayhaps
Is there a wired version? I don't want a battery inside mine.
ENTER
This d-pad and feature set on a symmetrical controller would be endgame
aside from maybe also having directinput over dongle
It's almost perfect but I really prefer wired controllers
can you not just connect it via a cable
You can but I vaguely recall hearing there was some kind of driver issue or something, something with the gyro I think
Same
>asymmetric
>amerilard ergonomics
>CZ buttons that will get pressed accidentially while you use the main face buttons
Awful/10
just say you are a handlet with small baby hands anon.

Four of them

What's a controller with a good d-pad and symmetric? I hate this asymmetric bullshit and I need a fighting game pad.
Wait, it's not wired? Frick.
>chink shit
no thanks
ALL controllers nowadays are chinkshit, even the official ones
do you still need to install their shitty chinkware to fix the sticks having no deadzone
The stock deadzone was something like 3-5% on mine, but you do need to use the software if you want to change it, yes

Wasn't Microsoft's new controller with gyro supposed to be announced this month?
I got mine after using the DS5 for two years. Its great and I love the fact that it has a total of 6 reprogrammable buttons.
How do you connect it to your PC? I've heard that it comes with a dongle, but isn't very reliable.

Thanks. Guess I'll cop
Does it work wired?
Yeah just removed the dongle and tried it, it works fine.
I have a direwolf 2, it's great for what I paid for it.

i'd pay up to $18 for an off-brand controller
I'm poor, where can I get it for cheap?
It was around $40 on AliExpress last week, pretty frequently discounted to $40-50 these days
whats good to use with my ps4? old controller dying and i want one i can also use with my pc
no plans on getting ps5
What about the Flydigi Apex 4?
