Take your small wins. Can still play most games at a better resolution and frame rate then any console. A couple a developers being shit at porting to the PC is a fair trade off. Not to mention PC still has the most exclusive.

PS5 is RDNA 1.5 and it's on 7nm, iirc the graphics performance is comparable to a 6700 (non xt). CPU is a under clocked R7 3700 that can disable hyperthreading for some scenarios.
It doesn't run like garbage anymore. They fixed that about 1 or 2 patches ago. The good thing is they kept releasing optimizing patches after they fixed the performance so it runs great now. Just lock it to 60fps in the in game video settings

Hard to find a definite point since you'll still be going up gear levels and leveling them up via the smithy is not exactly sustainable but at the very least take a look at some of the affinities and see if there's any in particular in the higher levels that interest you. For instance the 250% for breaker and black mage IIRC grants an additional STR/INT bonus respectively to any affinity status increases that boost that stat.
I had no idea that 500 Strength would make such a difference compared to the 280 I'd been at, when it comes to summon blessings should I just stack one of them as much as possible? I've been using Odin for DK and it's been doing a pretty good job for me.

Only if you can stack them and the total percentage is closer to what you would get if you were just use random blessings with higher percentages.
Performance, 1080p still looks fricking great on my 65" OLED unless I get up there and pixel peek. I much rather my games run 60fps+ and have good frame timing than have slightly higher image quality.
The latest DLC did add this game's version of garland's armor as gear you can wear now but again it's in the last DLC and you have to bump up the difficulty every time you move to the next DLC. Honestly there's not really a lot of full body armors in the game. There are armored outfits for sure but iirc the closest you get with base game gear is the samurai-looking set + recolor that's shared with Jed and the dragoon armor + recolor shared with Sophia.
Barrage is ridiculous on my ninja/assassin setup. This setup was already really strong to begin with but the amount of hits I can do with barrage active is insane. I crashed my ps4 multiple times yesterday because of too many hits. For example, I have barrage active and use windmill on my assassin for 20 stacks then chain cancel back to ninja to procure all those 20 hits via Requiem. But because barrage is still active, that's actually 40 hits instead meaning I did like a 60+ hit combo. This is with tyrant affinity + ailment meaning everything will be critical by the way.
PC performance has been mostly fixed, you'll still get massive drops at strange places like during certain particle effects that happen during cutscenes but gameplay is very smooth now.
Sam/Cyclic with 600sam, 600 darkknight, 400 zerker and any str filler affinities with mp cost down for sentinel, mighty strikes and lunatic with a focus of all near death stats is the goat for big numbers and style points.

my biggest issue using a quickly slapped together build farmed on lufenian difficulty for the massive summon blessing stats: you can't skip floors so you need to grind them one by one even if you get 10k rift points from linked portals.
Yeah that's what I've been noticing, thankfully with the like nearly 2k in Odin blessings I've gotten getting through the floors isn't that bad, but maybe things will pick up around floor 60 or something.

There's sadly no way to get the multiplayer crack to use your cracked save instead of the epic game store save. So if I want to do multiplayer with anons, I gotta start from scratch or cheat engine my way through until DLC 3 to get it done as fast as possible.

you download "hello neighbor mod kit" (idk if thats the exact name) to your epic library, then use the launcher.exe from the multiplayer crack (just drag the files to the root of the game) and it'll use your epic game save.

I just beat Kraken on Hard (solo) like I have been doing the whole game so far , how much of the "story" do I have left pre-DLC? weapon and command abilities, not passives. with affinity on gear and anima you can get everything to 30 without needing to actually play the class.

how does this work with a pirated copy?
Something about having to use a specific save that's linked to EGS servers. Haven't looked into it.
you download "hello neighbor mod kit" (idk if thats the exact name) to your epic library, then use the launcher.exe from the multiplayer crack (just drag the files to the root of the game) and it'll use your epic game save.
The servers think you have a legit copy so you can play with other cracked anons and anons who bought the game.

I just beat Kraken on Hard (solo) like I have been doing the whole game so far , how much of the "story" do I have left pre-DLC? I feel like I'm going slower than usual since I pretty much use a different class and learn a new class each mission since I'm trying to max out all the Advanced job trees.
not much but you're at the point in the story that gear level scaling goes balls to the wall. you should have 11's tower, 15's citadel, 6's floating continent and some revisits left in the story.

Whats a decent setup for max damage builds? It's a pain to use discord for reference builds
high main damage stat, stack damage percentage bonuses after that. for single hit probably zantetsuken with red mage 250% and ability specific charge time reduction orange lines to spam it out
I like assassin...You simply whirlwind and assassinate in a never-ending fashion (unless you have to move).

Thoughts on the DLC classes? I kinda rushed through to get ready for DLC 3 so among them I've only played around with summoner but I'm curios if anyone has much experience with evoker, blue mage, and gambler as well I guess
I wouldn't play this game even if you paid me, still waiting for a real Final Fantasy.

Do you guys know what's the affinity cap per gear type? I know that 1 slot equipment and the 1 hand sword cap at 250% affinity. I have no idea about the other type of equipment (2 hand weapons, shields, 2 slot gear). Searching isn't helping.
Does it work on the ‘eck?

last of the cut content, guns were datamined at launch. maybe we'll get something like the royal pack from ffxv's royal edition when they launch the chaos edition

Did you run the bat file first?
I did not. I tried earlier but it didn't seem to be doing anything.
Now it seems to be working

if thats the crack im thinking of, run the .bat file (literally named run me first or something like that) after it installs and it should work.
never made it this far before so I think running the bat was the answer
the missing files are just bonus OST files so it shouldn't impact anything I hope
