YOUR TIME'S UP!
Shut the frick up, Chaos.
It's okay to dislike good games
Yeah, I dislike Dark Souls 3.
Pokéfan tier.
I'm getting the DLC next week.
KNOW WHEN YOU ARE BEATEN
POST MOST WANTED DLC JOBS
FOR ME ITS GUNNER/MACHINIST
guns are cancelled.
There won’t be a shotgun
elden-bros...not like this
gunbreaker
How would you even balance something like a gun? You'd just be able to kite shit from a distance and the game would become ez modo.
>what is reloading
Something you can just run behind a wall or something to do.
Jack would manually reload his guns one bullet at a time.
Ah, the good old Ocelot method.
Easy, have the gun class be gun-kata or have it be less viable up close.
it would have to be a gunblade where actually shooting would be limited by combo abilities
make it so that you have to block or soul shield enemy attacks to reload
Ninja
Ninja is in the game already anon.
Gun got confirmed in the files
I would like another job that benefits from having max health to pair with Paladin, in the same way that Dark Knight has at least one other job to pair with for near death bonuses.
Geomancer
A Job that lets me become full on Demon Chaos (kinda like what we have with Bahamut with Summoner), just for flavour.
Otherwise, Gunbreaker, I guess since Gunblades could be fun.
Time Mage/Green Mage.
>POST MOST WANTED DLC JOBS
Steam job
Coming March 2023
I knew they'd do a Nioh and add more jobs/weapons in DLCs. Wonder what they're gonna do for the other DLC if it's gonna be 3 DLC like they did for Nioh.
moron
I'm not talking about you, anon.
what have they done
What am I looking in
That’s 31 jobs with two side classes for each job…
How will these work anyway?
They didn't just triple the amount of jobs, did they? I expect these will be mostly just passive bonuses, no new action or command abilities.
Considering most jobs are defined by their one ability and weapon access, I assume they're going to be tweaks at most.
Supposedly the job abilities get modified too, hopefully it'll give me a reason to use the more niche ones like Paladin and Liberator and Red Mage.
But I wonder to what extent the modifications go.
Is this on gog or steam yet?
It's probably going to be like nioh 1 and 2 even with the epic exclusivity, complete edition on steam a few months after the third dlc is out. Might take a bit longer depending on the exclusivity period.
I can wait then. One day, Total Warhammer Complete Edition. Been waiting since the day they announced it would be broken into 3 full-priced games each with dozens of dlc. What's a year or two for this compared to that?
Just like FF7R and Kingdom hearts
The game has so much potential. A fun coop action RPG with decent mechanics and challenge. It would be nice to see them at least try to live up to some of that potential. The game needed more work to actually give it some world, reduce load times, make more enemy types, and so forth.
>The game has so much potential.
I enjoyed it. My GOTY so far.
20 yen have been deposited into your account
we need you in the upcoming ff7 remake thread though
come back to discord to coordinate with your colleagues
Nah, frick Rebirth. Looking forward to Crisis Core, though.
Also, shut the frick up, Chaos.
>reduce load times
They're instant on my base ps4.
QRD on job changes & trailer?
3 new jobs, Pilgrim: base staff weapon, job ability is using the staff to pull yourself into the enemy or vice versa, Evoker: job ability summons in a spirit to give you backup for a short time, Summoner: job ability turns you into bahamut while you still have MP
they're adding in a new "class" system that's basically sub jobs, they said that classes will change job abilities in different ways but they haven't shown any examples yet.
Does it still run like ass on PC? I would like to get it but i'm not buying unoptimized shit or a PS5
It’s never getting optimized.
Take it or leave it.
They updated it a month ago and it's been working better for me on my decade old comp
Still have to bump it down to medium but I don't crash or get slowdowns anymore
>trial of the dragon
>trials of the blood dragon
>trials of the dragon king
what does it mean
good thing I didn't pirate yet would have had to download it again.
DLCs are looking really good. I doubt many will have to play them due to the already small playerbase, but the team deserves all the praise;
Also
the collaborator is 100% either Jack or the Warrior of Light. Either future Jack made a deal (image of the journal shows Jack + Jack is a 4 letter name), and why the WoL ? The WoL in the OG FF1 had a 4 letters custom name.
I wonder if the scenes in the trailer are from a flashback to a previous loop or just jack going schizo and imagining his friends
His friends seem absent in the WoL battle.
Bahamut trial is probably in the 2000 years of darkness, his friends canceled their fiend forms until it's time
Assuming it's the final battle, they're probably already dead.
Something is probably going to frick up. I feels like Jack is trying to recruit the WoL against the Lufenian here.
Something will frick up leading to next DLC and then leading to FF1 ending. not sure if DIFFERENT FUTURE is still linked to the original game or an alt ending for Dissidia.
Honestly, maybe it's just me, but the way I thought of connecting to the Rift was for WoL to hit Jack so hard he gets sent to another dimension.
3 DLCs for this and then Wo Long next year too and hopefully a demo soon. I've got games to play.
NEON
So what the frick is his deal?
He really likes rat tails.
>was not even able to complete all subclasses
>THEY ADD A SHITLOAD OF NEW ABILITIES
FRICK
That's what I get for playing the normal difficulity.
I should go on hard after the DLCs (i'm too afraid of Chaos)
>afraid of Chaos
its mostly just grind though? that grind lets you unlock all the fun broken affinity combos and 99 cap, there's even a grind method for anima crystals that let you avoid fighting entirely, and if you're worried about eating shit later grind for dark knight+zerker affinity, if you manage to hit 400% drk and 250% zerk you become effectively immortal, we'll see if that persists after the dlc though
This is the only Final Fantasy game I've enjoyed and plan to buy
Have they fixed the performance yet?
This game looks like a bunch of Nioh 2 cut content slapped together, do you unironically like the game?
Yeah, not even the le chaos memes can turn me away from this
It's like this game is a lab experiment and I'm a rat pressing the dopamine button. Just has a direct line to every center in my brain that decides what's fun.
>we added a class that lets you turn into Bahamut
Team Ninja. . .I kneel.
Best platform to play this on?
to the people who keep asking about performances, i need to say it again : no, it can't be made better, because the issue is with the models. They are too detailed.
As an example : Jack's model with his first outfit is almost 1gb alone. Sarah's lutes has more polygons than Noctis model in FFXV
Frick you Jack, it IS a mercy to forget
is there a balance patch too
I don't think they've mentioned anything about it but I'm curious what they're going to do about the new difficulty because some of the combos are super broken, especially the infinite RDM nuking.
>You play as the edgy Darkness wielding man against classic FF warrior of light

nomura did not direct or wrote the game, checkmate
He's here
ABANDON THREAD
and if I refuse?
fun fact: the game who wrote, designed and directed all the cutscenes also did the same on Metroid Other M. did he got better?
The direction in the cutscenes is incredibly janky and jarring. It's probably one of the game's biggest "so bad it's good" flaws that just makes it feel goofy. Some of them do look neat though.
No steam, no buy. I'll wait til the game+DLC is cracked before I play it.
Sure you will
I didn't bother buying when I came out, I think I can wait a while longer.
The Ending was Kino event tho we all expected it, it still managed to be Kino
>kino kino kino kino
Stop trying so hard to fit in
Swing and a miss
>want to act cool and be strong like Jack
>inside I’m just extremely insecure like Jed
Help me jackbros
I’m physically weak due to health issues so this doesn’t help...
I'll buy this game when it gets cheap enough, but Square has a bad track record with that
Just wanted to say I hate tonberries. They are poop enemies and they frustrate me like a big stinky poop that won’t come out
>switch to mage
>cast aeroga
>murder them while they're stunlocked to death
it's not that hard anon
I don’t like using mage
First "kill all master tonberries" mission when I was still unlocking stuff I learned the beauty of Reinforce + Lancer's throw. MP intensive, but fun.
Tonberries are mostly a joke once you have some good weapon skills. The fully charged axe tackle will end their life before they can do shit. Every now and then you still get gimped, but in general they are free.
Should I play on normal or hard?
hard
hard
Action difficulty was a sweetspot for me. The game is still really frustrating before you unlock more tools.
Post predictions on DLC2 and DLC3 weapon types and jobs
The only things I can think off is guns/machines/bows and gunblades.
bows u can shoot fast
is there transformation weapons in FF
Jack's game is so good but it fricking kills my PC, so I'm afraid of playing it, I respect jack's graphics.
The game needs a pair of jobs that benefit from swapping mid combat. Or a job that benefits from pairinf it with itself.
Closest would be the Samurai's affinity that gives you a meaty damage bonus for a chain cancel. Other than all the inherent advantages of chain cancelling, I mean.
Sell me on chain canceling, anon. I never used it.
It's just switching jobs right after an attack to cancel the animation so you can start a new attack or dodge or whatever.
Lets you immediately cancel an action ability by job switching. In keeping with the blistering pace of SoP, this allows you to shield practically frame 1, or start a different combo entirely, where you'd usually be stuck. Can really save your ass if you mess up your positioning or break gauge, or just if you're using abilities with long recovery. Takes some practice to get used to, but it's well worth it.
I want them to make a blue mage but they already have it somewhat with soul shield. Maybe make it so you get extra abilities and saved slots
Thief is already kind of Blue Mage.
Frick Chaos
When will all of the DLC be out? I'll pirate it when it's content complete.
2023 at the latest.
They are probably going to launch a complete edition like they did with NIOH 1 and 2 on Steam
next march
I got probably 2hrs before i uninstalled this turd, everything is bad and cringe.
Glad i pirated.
Wasn't there a gun file in the game's system folders? If so that seems likely for one of the other two dlcs.
