Be sure you have input display on so you can try to figure out where you messed up when you make a mistake so you become mindful of the part of the input or command that is giving you issues.
By the time you are able to do that you'll be able to do whatever command you're practicing on command. You have to build the muscle memory and brain wiring in your head just like with anything else.

The other player can't do anything that inspires any changes in your gameplay in the same way that a Jamie can be a little too greedy with his booze that inspires you to play more aggressively.
certain characters are designed to snowball, that's literally the adjustment is that exchanges become more consequential across the set. that either happens explicitly through gaining meter or through implicit systems like roses' charges.

Manon isn't exactly some super complicated and interesting character in danger of getting dumbed down here. She's basically a season 1 SFV character

I can do it in neutral with this method, and even then I drop it sometimes. But using it in combos is absolutely impossible. I spent like 15 minutes doing one basic combo over and over and I didn't get it once. Stuff like:
b.HP > H Dimachaerus /w follow-up > DR b.HP > Gladius, inputting drive rush b.HP seems inhuman to me. And that's just a bnb!

I actually finished WT last night and now can just look at a bunch of outfits.
It's a good time especially if you are aiming for fricking around with character builds and outfits. The biggest hangups are really two things: It's rather grindy to max out Bonds/Styles early on but it does become manageable by the time you get the second major hub area for the Story and the damage scaling for Side Quest enemies gets really assy really early, there's way too many instances where someone could easily delete you with a single combo/throw even if you reasonably grind and upgrade your shit.
